In addition the local women's community is often invited to events on the land such as a Winter Solstice gathering, annual summer potluck, free Wednesday swim, first Friday campfire, and occasional work days. Outside groups use the land for events they organize, such as the weekend retreat of Women's Outreach for Women from Columbus, OH–"Sober, Strong and Free."
