Crabbie's Tape List

3/1/69  Fillmore W.  Board, B+
Eleven, Hey Jude, Hard 2 handle, plus an early Jerry band Russian Lullaby on the end.

* '76 sometime: Cap Center, Md. second set- B - I think its a radio tape, but it's worth a little hiss. Use the dolby. I give it a B, but It's got The St. Stephen, NFA, sugar mag thing, with the MOST amazing China Cat jam thrown in, plus Lazy Lightning, Supplication, Mason's Children, other odds and ends. A jammer! Oh, I forgot....Cosmic Charlie, too.

* 2-26-77, Swing Auditorium, Cal. set I, Excellent Board tape, A- This is a good Vault series candidate, the Terrapin Station premier show. Terrapin, Minglewood, They love each other, Estimated, Might as Well, Sugaree, Mama Tried, Deal, Playin' into the Wheel,, back into playin. (plus some very strange tuneups including a squinky sort of "Roll out the barrel" bass and drum jam.)

*  Side A:Deer Creek Set I, 6-9-91, A
Side B: 7-23-90 World Theater, Chicago (The night Brent Died, tape has the last thing he sang with the boys, "Never Trust a Woman." Especially if her name is Sister Morphine.

------------------------------------------------

Jerry Band, 2-5-77, don't know where. Not bad sound for the age. Warning: Donna sings extensively on "Dixie" and others. Not for the squeamish, easily bored, or highly tone-sensitive.

Jerry Band- Magic Mountain, 82; sometime on that Fall East Coast thing he did that year. I know I was there, but I just can't seem to remember it. Audience, B-
