He was married to Edith TRIPP (daughter of John TRIPP and Elizabeth TRIPP) on 11 Feb 1833. Edith TRIPP ⁽¹⁾ was born on 15 Mar 1812. Thomas Estes TRIPP and Edith TRIPP had the following children:

2430 iii. John A. TRIPP⁽¹⁾ was born on 12 Nov 1837. He died on 7 Nov 1863 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.
