She was christened. !1) There is a land transaction of the 1820's by Rachel Tripp, who is named as an "heir of Jonathan Tripp", per Chas Quick, September 6, 1987. 2)Per "Doll Index", notice, 1/1/1838, in Michigan Argus stating "Polly Tripp" had a letter at Saline PO awaiting her since July 6, 1837. This Polly Tripp, ID20236, would very logically be in Saline with her father Thomas, and certainly is the subject of the letter. She was married to Milton REYNOLDS in 1845 in
Tyre, Seneca, NY. Milton REYNOLDS was born about
1820 in Junius, Seneca County, New York. He died after 1894 in Tyre, Seneca
County, New York. He was christened. !1)History of Seneca County, NY, 1876,
p. 121, states "Milton Reynolds" served Co E, 8th Cav, 30 sept 1861
to 17 Feb 1865, was Major. 1a)Seneca Co Directory, 1894/5 lists Milton Reynolds,
p398, "owns home and land. Veteran of War of 1861, Enlisted 1862 in 97th
NY Volunteers. Discharged at end of war. Is a pensioner." Per notes, PLT
ARCHIVES, V17. The directory also cites a Nathaniel Reynolds, b 1837 in Cohocton,
NY, and wife Amy. This could be son of Milton. 2) A Frank Reynolds, perhaps
Milton's son, enlisted 8 Aug 1862, killed at Antietam, Maryland, 17 Sept 1862:
33rd NY State Vols. 3)Richard and wife Thankful Reynolds died in 1806 in Junius;
Jabez Reynolds owned lot #3 in 1801; Simon Reynolds settled Lot 29; Henry Reynolds
