He died on 22 Nov 1913 in Mason, Ingham County, Michigan. He was buried on 25 Nov 1913 in Maple Grove Cem., Mason, Ingham County, Michigan. He was a member of the Mason Grange, an alderman of the first ward of Mason for two terms and for several years was a cemetery trustee. He was a republican in politics.
