NINTH GENERATION

4808. Zina TRIPP was born in 1789 in Queensbury, Washington Co., New York. He died on 27 Sep 1859 in South Dansville, Steuben County, New York. He was christened. !1)His death date, place, per Carolyn Collins, box 156, Graham Tx 76046, from her pedigree chart under date 11 Apr 1984 2) Chas Quick, per Will of son Joseph F., says Zina was in Booneville, Oneida, in 1846. 3) His daughter, Lucinda Ruth Tripp Avery wrote "Tripp Genealogy", copy in my notes, volume 20. 4) B 1789, d1850, wife Ruth, Child Gideon and his wife Louisa drake, all per Bill Dean computer data base on Tripp's in Seneca County, in PLT ARCHIVES, V17, although I had such from other sources, above, earlier.

He was married to Ruth BOWDISH (daughter of Gideon BOWDISH and ?? ??) about 1814 in Junius, Seneca, NY. Ruth BOWDISH was born on 29 Mar 1787. She died in Jun 1820. She was christened. She was buried in Bowdish Cemetery, Seneca County, New York. !1)This cemetery record, the uniqueness of "Zina" as a name compels me to make Perthania Bonnell a second wife of Zina. Bowdish Cemetery record: "RUTH TRIPP, wife of Zina and dau of Gideon Bowdish. 3/29/1787 - 7/1820" 2)Assumption, above, is correct. P13 of Avery book confirms this, giving June, 1820 as her death date. I'll remain with the cemetery record, July. Zina TRIPP and Ruth BOWDISH had the following children:

child+9402 i. Sarah TRIPP.
