The story behind the name Foot-Loose came from a very dear friend of mine, who would come for reflexology on a regular basis. One day while working I mentioned that I was trying to come up with a name for the business. Ken said to me "What about footloose?" I thought it was cute then, and has stuck with me ever since.

I would like to dedicate this page and the name Foot-Loose to Ken Gains. Sadly to say, he passed away August 5, 1999, from an illness called Castleman's Disease. Born January 12, 1962, Ken was a strong minded young man and fought his illness with courage and strength. His memory will live forever through the hearts of those who loved him.
