Zephaniah
Trailwinds Heavy Metal
Granvilles Heavy Metal was my beloved Zeppelin who
was born on
8-03-86 and passed away on 9-19-94. He was a solid blue
German Shepherd, and I thought I'd never see or own another one like him.
On September 19, 2001 a little boy was born ... Solid blue and had my
name written all over him. He has been named Trailwinds Heavy Metal after
Zeppelin, and his call name is Zephaniah or Zeph
(in Hebrew the name
Zephaniah mean "Yahweh Protects").
Actually he has been
dubbed "Pup who has many names who lives with Woman with many dogs". Zeppelin also had many names, so therefore I don't
worry to much about what he is called, he is still a very sweet boy
and was another gift from God. I waited 7 long years before this baby was
born, and even though I did not need another dog at this time he was
welcomed with open arms.
Zeph was born at Trailwinds Kennel owned by Kathy Stone, and she knew
immediately Zeph was to be my pup. She and Toddy who both live in Texas
made this little miracle happen. He arrived in Columbus Ohio on November
13th, and I arrived in Columbus at just about the same time to pick him up.
He has been welcomed by all my dogs, including Zeke. Maya is not crazy
about puppies, but she will like him more when he is easier to play with. : )
Below is Zeph's gallery of pictures from the days before he opened his eyes
to the present. Thank you God for this wonderful little gift. And thank
you Kathy and Toddy for getting him to me. : )
Here is Zeph with some of his litter mates.
He and his
sister Lady were the only two solid blues.
Zeph is the one with the green rickrack.
