Churaig Mac Niall has
been on a
shamanic path for 16 years, since a life-disrupting series of
events. At this point, a Bear appeared in his 'meditations' and
began taking him on teaching journeys. During a course on World
Religions at University, Churaig suddenly realised that his experiences
had a name - Shamanism. He has intensively trained with Dr Crow Swimsaway and Bekki Shining Bearheart at the Church of Earth Healing in Ohio in 2001, and has worked with a number of other teachers. He has degrees in Studies of Religion and Anthropology and in Education. He also has a background in massage, hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Born and bred in Australia, where he raised three daughters, Churaig moved to England after his Intensive training with Bekki and Crow. He teaches Shamanism around the UK and has a shamanic healing practice. He is a member of the Society of Shamanic Practitioners and the Core Shamanic Practitioner’s Circle.
