Drumming in the Temple is a dynamic two-day workshop that requires shamanic journeying experience. You should be familiar with upper and lower world journeywork and have established shamanic contacts.

Drumming in the Temple explores our connection to Deity from a shamanic perspective. For some people this work is entirely new. For others it is a natural outcome of our lives: we have been drawn to Deity through studies of mythology, anthropology, religion and other formal or informal training. Some encounter specific Deities as shamanic helpers and some have not yet explored these connections through shamanism. Wherever you are in your spiritual process, this weekend will expand your potentialities.

We follow a protocol similar to that in the Circle of the Ancestors involving shamanic journey, trance dance and other techniques to open a dialog with the Gods.

We examine what it means to dedicate ourselves to a spiritual path and to a particular face of the Divine. It is our intention to discover how we may be of service and how this connection may further our ability to help others through divinely inspired shamanic work.
