The only spleenwort harder to find and growing in more inaccessible locations in northeastern North America than A. bradleyi is the green spleenwort, A. virides. It's hard enough to get to Bradley's spleenwort: it only grows in the most acid pockets in hard, well-weathered sandstone in highly exposed locations, often high on cliff faces.
Bradley's spleenwort is pinnate, with elliptical pinnae that are toothed on the upper margin. It grows in small rosettes or tufts.
Bradley's spleenwort arose as a hybrid between the ebony spleenwort, A. platyneuron, and the mountain spleenwort, A. montanum.
This is a plant that is virtually impossible to grow in the garden.
