Summer Practice Schedule
We have our summer practice schedule!
Sundays: Dow’s RollArena (Skate rental available)
6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Open Skate session starts at 7:00 p.m., you’re welcome to stay later and practice, just be careful of the other non-derby folk there).
Tuesdays: Bird Arena (on OU Campus)
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Must have own skates)
Fridays: Bird Arena (on OU Campus)
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Must have own skates)

The “Habitat for Hell Betties” fundraiser was a rousing success! Thank you to all our friends who showed up to support us.
Because of the success of the event, we were able to secure Bird Arena for our Summer Practice space. We could not have done it without the support of our community and friends.

Athen’s own roller derby team, the Appalachian Hell Betties, are holding their second fundraiser on June 2, 2011.
The Appalachian Hell Betties are hosting their 2nd event on Thursday, June 2nd at The Union in Athens, Ohio!! 5 bands for you to rock out to, while mingling with our ladies & supporting our cause! Our last event was a success and enabled us to purchase team equipment… this event will provide us a space to practice in…Bird Arena!! Event begins at 9 pm, music starts at 10! Let us show you a good time!!
