Four inches steps foward for charity

New York -- "Four Inches" goes a long way when it comes to charity. The book features photographs of famous women, Kate Moss, Anne Heche, Sarah Ferfuson, and Paris and Nicky Hilton, among them, who posed in nothing but Jimmy Choo shoes and Cartier diamonds.

Top female photographers such as Ellen Von Unwerth and Amelia Troubridge took the pictures, some of which were later auctioned at galas in New York, Los Angeles and London.

The book, published by Trafalgar Square, features a foreward by Elton John and it raises money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

It was the brainchild of Jimmy Choo president Tamara Mellon, explains Stanislas de Quercize, president and CEO of Cartier North America. "Everything about women is interesting to us. This book is for a woman with AIDS, women models, women photographers," he says.
