A Lost Loved One

CC, Fran, Max, Sylvia, the kids, and Yetta waited outside Niles' hospital
room. CC had an almost blank stair in her eyes. She didn't want anything to
happen to Niles. She couldn't lose him. Everyone else were waiting for the
doctor. The doctor came out with a look on his face that told it all. He
just shook his head.
"I am really sorry, we did everything we could." Fran burst into tears and
was held by Mr. Sheffield. Everyone was crying but CC. She was in shock. She
just staired at the wall. She got up and walk away, not listening to Max
call her. She walked to the elevator and once she was in she collapsed on
the floor sobbing. She just couldn't stop and when the doors opened a doctor
walked in.
"Are you all right?" CC looked up and wipped her tears away. She quickly got
up and ran out leaving the confused doctor behind.
CC decided to walk home. It then started to pour. She didn't care all she
could do was think about Niles. She couldn't live without him. She walked
into her apartment and Chester came running to her. She ignored him and
walked to the bar without taking off her wet clothes. She took the bottle of
Jack Daniels and started to drink from it. She sat on the couch and drank
herself into a deep sleep.
CC didn't wake up till eight the next evening. Max was worried and came to
her apartment. He rushed her to the hospital and the doctors said CC had
double pneumonia. CC soon died two days later of pneumonia and a broken
heart.
Max had both Niles and CC's funerals together and had them buried next to
each other because Max knew how much they cared for each other.
Max shut everyone out again. Fran did her best but she couldn't do it all
and she soon left. Yetta died some months later. Maggie went to college and
never speaks to her father. Gracie was sent to a mental home because after
Fran left she felt no one loved her and Brighten dropped out of school and
turned into one of those freaks on the internet that does nothing but stays
in their room. Sylvia just eats all day.....well, not everything changed. Oh
and Chester was left homeless dog and the pound got him. Sadly he was put to
sleep.

CC shot up in a cold sweat. That was the most terrible dream. She put on her
robe and walked out to the livingroom. Chester was peacefully sleeping in
his doggy bed. She walked into the kitchen and was about to have a drink but
dumped it down the drain. She got some milk and sat at the table.
She had the same dream just last night. Although the doctor said Niles would
be fine she couldn't stop to think about what would happen if Niles did die.
She knew she would have a nervous break down. She then realized something.
She loved Niles! She was totally hopplessly in love with Niles! CC got up
from the table and got her coat out of the closet. She put it on and ran to
her car. She hopped in and drove as fast as she could to the hospital.
She ran inside and to the elevator to Niles' room. Niles was sleeping when
he was woken up. He opened his eyes to see CC standing over him.
"Miss. Babcock! What do you want?"
"Look, Niles, I am sorry for barging in like this but I have to get this off
my chest. I have to tell you this."
"Tell me what?" Niles moved his bed into an up position.
"Ok, I am sorry for everything I did. The pranks, the jokes, everything. Now
the reason I came here is to tell you that..."
"Tell me what?
"That I love you. Ok, I have been having these dreams about you dieing and I
just can't let that happen. I know the doctor said you will be ok and all
but I just need to know if you are."
"What did you say?"
"I wanted to see if you are o...."
"No what was the first thing you said?" said Niles smiling and taking her
hand.
"I love you." said CC with a smile.
"I love you too." CC leaned in a kissed him on the lips.

Conclusion....
Niles and CC got married soon after he got of the hospital. They had four
kids. They had triplets, two girls and a boy. Then another boy. Their names
were Mckenzie, Erica, Nicholas, and Andrew. Niles got better in health and
CC made him excercise and have a better diet, although Niles didn't like CC
fussing over him so much.
