Niles let out a grumble tilting his head towards the waiting crowd. He had been invited to this, which had not only shocked him, but the rest of the Sheffield’s as well. C.C. Babcock was getting married to Chandler Evans today, but nothing was going according to plan. Niles tilted his head towards a grumbling Fran, and then walked towards Maxwell Sheffield who was in a corner with another man. "Sir? Is something going on?"
Maxwell was in a corner with Noel Babcock, and both men had a strange look on their face for a wedding. "Seems like Chandler walked out, old man."
"Where?" Niles scanned the room, and Maxwell pulled on his arm.
"He’s outside… don’t worry, my mother was about to kill him." Noel let out a soft laugh, but Niles walked towards the open door heading outside to the parking lot.
"Where is he going?" Noel blinked watching Niles walk outside.
"Oy… Trouble, no doubt." Fran joined Maxwell’s side shaking her head.
Niles scanned the cars hearing the screams of C.C.’s mother. He was able to find Chandler trying his best to make his escape. "Miss Babcock…" Niles reached up to take B.B.’s hand pulling her away from the car.
"Get away from me, servant!" B.B. hissed as another guest pushed her out of the car’s way.
Niles walked towards the driver window as Chandler rolled it down. "Where are you going, sir?" Niles felt his heart pounding as Chandler let out a soft snicker.
"I’m running from these people…." Chandler let out a soft sigh.
"You’re running from her." Niles narrowed his eyes. "You do this thing sir, and she might not ever take you back."
"C.C. has a heart of stone… she’ll survive." Chandler let out a snicker pulling out of the chapel’s parking lot. Niles let out a groan as B.B. started yelling madly.
Niles let out a long sigh shaking his head slowly. He had started out this afternoon nursing a bottle of whiskey because she was getting married. "Bloody hell." He turned around looking towards a growling B.B. being held down by her ex-husband Stuart. He walked back into the church noticing her smiling face. "What are you up to, Babcock?" He mumbled watching her smile and nod towards a chatting family member. Niles reached in his pocket touching the flask and letting out a soft groan. His eyes narrowed as he walked towards C.C. "Miss Babcock?" He reached out touching her shoulder.
"Enjoying yourself, servant?" C.C. let out a soft snarl shifting in her rather expensive wedding dress.
"Far from it." Niles lowered his voice putting tenderness behind it as B.B. Babcock reentered the small chapel. He could see behind her armor, and inside she was dying. "Miss Babcock, would you like to…?"
"Escape?" C.C. let out a soft snicker as everyone’s attention was now focused on B.B. Babcock and her ranting scream. "Yes, I think I would." She pulled him into the back of the chapel and reached into his pocket.
"HEY!" Niles reached for his flask as C.C. took a huge gulp. "Get your own, woman!"
"Come on, servant. There is a bar within walking distance." C.C. walked into the small room and glared at him. "Turn around." C.C. let out a sigh pulling out the plain dark blue dress she had worn before coming to the chapel.
Niles found himself starting to sweat thinking, and then the erotic noise of her undoing zippers. "Miss Babcock, what are you doing?"
"Only an idiot would go out in public wearing this dress." C.C. let out a hiss. "Keep your mouth shut, Niles… I’m not in the mood." C.C. stepped closer, turning him around. "Now zip me up." She turned around and let out a husky chuckle finishing off Niles’s flask of whiskey.
Niles held back a whimper zipping up her dress. He had the strange urge to hold her tight and let out a soft groan. "There you go, trollop. Shall we escape now?"
C.C. felt a shiver run up her spine as Niles kept one of his hands on her back. "Come on, servant… You can buy me a drink."
"You just had one!" Niles put on his best pouting face as C.C. looked outside hearing her mothers screams once more. "What’s going on?"
"My mother can go on for hours like that." C.C. let out a snicker turning her head. "How much have you had to drink already?" She waved her hand in front of her noise.
"Enough." Niles snickered as he pointed towards the exit. "No one will notice if we make a break for it."
"After you, bell boy." C.C. let out a groan reaching for her purse and following him out the door.
Niles let out a groan as he stumbled towards the bar which, thankfully, was only two blocks away. "You know… this would be the first place I would look for you."
"Luckily you’re not with ‘them’." C.C. put down a few hundred dollars. "Keep them coming, buddy." She hissed as the bartender. She quickly finished her drink and reached for Niles’.
"Woman, do you have to steal everything that belongs to me?" Niles let out a snicker watching her finish off his drink.
"Everything?" C.C. now finished off another drink, eyeing him. "What else have I stolen?" She reached out touching his knee.
Niles let out a soft groan feeling her small hand on his knee. "You’re playing with fire, woman."
C.C. ran her hand up and down his leg as Niles let out a tortured groan. "Why am I playing with fire?" She felt light headed from the liquor, but something else besides that was making her head swim.
"Babcock…" Niles now found his hand on her knee lightly touching the smooth curve.
"You like what you see?" C.C. narrowed her eyes feeling his hand growing more bold. "Chandler didn’t want me in the end."
"Chandler was a fool." Niles pulled C.C.’s chair closer. "Any man would want you, Caca… you just need to cast the right spell."
C.C. shivered as his hand rested on her hip. "So, what is the right spell servant?"
Niles watched C.C. cross and uncross her legs. "Well, you got ‘him’ to walk into the chapel."
"I didn’t get him to stay." C.C. felt her lower lip tremble and lifted up his chin. "Niles… why did you come to my wedding already loaded?"
"What?" Niles blinked looking into her eyes.
"Why were you already drunk?" C.C. let out a snicker as Niles did his best to shake the cobwebs out of his brain.
"Because…" Niles let out another groan as C.C. leaned in closer.
"Because..?" She leaned over displaying her cleavage for his eyes.
"He was a fool, but I was a bigger fool." Niles raised his eyes once more touching her cheek. "I allowed your relationship with him to get this far." Niles reached up with his other hand touching both sides of her face. "So beautiful."
C.C. let out a soft groan. "Niles… you’re drunk…"
"Am I?" He leaned in pulling her off the stool and pressing her body against his. "Then I never want to be sober again, Caca."
C.C. shivered feeling trapped against his hard front. She was slightly drunk on alcohol, but was aware of her surroundings. "Now you’re playing with fire..." C.C. let out a groan as Niles nuzzled her chest.
"I want you..." He mumbled placing a few tender kisses along the v shaped dress, and up her neck.
C.C. let out a groan, her lips now meeting his. Desire thundered in her body his kisses became even bolder. She would have normally put a stop to such display, but the whiskey, and…the failed … "Niles…" She opened her eyes at last making up her mind. She jumped down from the bar stool as Niles whimpered.
"You folks better be careful tonight. The rain’s really starting to come down." The bartender shook his head watching C.C. drag Niles outside.
C.C. let out a soft giggle reaching into Niles’s pocket and pulling out his hotel key. "You’re not next to Maxwell, are you?" She leaned in blowing softly in his ear.
"No..." Niles narrowed his eyes. "I’m on the third floor… room 304." He tilted his head as they both watched the rain come down. "What are you doing?" He watched as C.C. stepped out into the rain.
The rain soaked her hair and the dress. She watched as Niles’ clouded eyes gazed on her. "See something you like?" She felt the fabric grow tight around her body and let out a soft laugh.
He watched C.C. turn around, teasing him. "Woman…" He let out a groan reaching for her and pulling her back under the protection of the overhanging roof. "What are you trying to do?" He pressed against her so she could tell his desire. "See what you’ve done, woman?"
"Do you want me?" She let out a husky groan and pushed him even closer.
"You know I do..." Niles narrowed his eyes.
"Then you’ll have to chase me." C.C. stepped out into the rain.
*******************************************************************************
Niles let out a groan shaking his head. "Madness…" He mumbled, running into the rainy night after her.
C.C. let out a giggle running towards the bushes near Niles’ hotel, and let out a groan feeling strong arms turn her around. "Niles!" She let out a gasp as Niles crushed his lips onto her willing ones. She quickly made her escape running towards the hotel.
C.C. let out a giggle running into the hotel lobby. She hid her head with a dropped newspaper wondering how many of her ‘wedding’ guests were staying here beside Maxwell Sheffield’s family. She managed to open the elevator door. Turning around she saw his hands opening the doors. She let out a yelp as Niles grabbed her. The doors shutting tight behind him.
C.C. let out a groan as he pressed his body against hers, touching her face tenderly. "Niles…" She blinked and shivered seeing the lust in his eyes.
Niles reached up, lifting her up off the floor and kissing her with raw, animalistic passion. "Dear….God…" He had his answer as C.C. let out a husky chuckle.
C.C. quickly pulled away from him as the elevator doors opened up, singling they had indeed arrived at his level. C.C. let out a giggle picking up the pace as Niles stalked her. At last, she reached his door and jammed the key inside his hotel room door. She could feel his arm around her waist as the door opened. C.C. waited for a moment, letting out a soft groan feeling his lips assault her neck.
"You better open that door, witch…" Niles let out a groan as C.C. rocked back against his hard front.
"Or?" C.C. let out a soft laugh.
Niles pushed her against the door, kissing her deeply. His hands starting to snake around her waist. Niles let out a soft growl as C.C. moaned. "Crazy woman….…"
C.C. blushed thinking about the scandal as she tried her best to turn around to open the door.
His desires started to override his common sense as C.C. managed to turn around and the door opened up. He let out another groan as C.C. did her best to escape, but he quickly reached for her.
"Niles!" She let out a groan as he greedily reached out for her.
Niles felt like he was dying inside. He felt her hands now reaching for him. Niles let out a groan now burying his lips on her neck leaving light marks. "C.C. …" He let out a groan and managed to push down the front of her dress breaking both straps.
"God!" C.C. arched back against him as Niles started to drag them both down to the floor.
Niles gave them what they both wanted and joined with her. He felt like a tiger dominating his mate. .
C.C. closed her eyes trying to hold onto him as his thrusts caused her to yell out each time he fully entered her body. She let out a loud moan as her world was reduced to a violent shaking, but Niles keep on going.
Niles tasted her mouth once more to quiet her screams as he felt his whole soul release inside of her. He kept on going for a few moments longer, letting out a soft groan and rolling on his back once his throbbing had stopped. "God... Woman…" Niles let out a soft whisper after a long silence.
C.C. closed her eyes tightly trying to control her shivering. She was still feeling the power of his desire rocketing thru her body. "Well at least you admit… I’m a woman." C.C. let out a soft purr looking up into his eyes.
Niles smirked and reached for the ruined dress. It was no more than a ring of fabric around her waist, and Niles carefully pushed it off her body. "So, are we going to regret this tomorrow, Babcock?"
"Are we?" C.C. looked up, her hand making small circles on his chest.
Niles let out a soft, husky chuckle as his hand lightly touched her cheek. "You might…"
C.C. let out a snicker and reached for his shirt, pushing it off his shoulders and tossing it aside. "I say we forget about tomorrow."
"Then what do you suggest?" Niles narrowed his eyes, and leaned over and kissing her neck once more. "We can’t stay in here forever!"
"Why not?" C.C. let out a sigh as Niles lowered his lips. "Are we going to make it to the bed?"
"I’ll think about it." Niles pulled on her lips and C.C. let out a giggle.
C.C. pulled away for just a moment. "You have interesting stamina for a man your age." C.C. noticed that a part of Niles’ body was making itself known. "Maybe we should test it?"
Niles flashed a playful smile. "What do you suggest, Caca?"
"First one to cry Uncle looses?" C.C. let out a yelp as Niles stood up, picking her up in his arms.
"What do I get if I win?" Niles placed her gently on the bed, his hands tracing her curves. "Mmm?"
"Bragging rights." C.C. let out a groan as Niles covered her body with his willing one.
Niles felt his mind blur into more images of lust and desire. No surface in the small room went unused as they turned his room into a den and sin. Niles let out a groan as the sunlight streamed from the small little window. He reached around her small waist hugging it tightly.
"Who ordered the sunlight?" C.C. let out a groan snuggling his chest tighter.
"I forgot, your kind burns in the sun." Niles let out a groan kissing her head tenderly.
"I don’t think the sunlight is doing much for your age spots, old man." C.C. pinched his bare thigh playfully and let out a soft groan.
"Headache?" Niles rubbed his right hand up and down her bear back.
"Yeah... Why, don’t you have one?" C.C. lifted up her head looking into his deep blue eyes.
"Nothing could spoil this moment for me." He reached for her cheek touching it tenderly. "Looking into your beautiful eyes."
C.C. felt her lower lip trembling as Niles kept up gentle touch. "Why… did you show up to the wedding drunk?"
Niles let out a groan looking into her eyes. "Chandler, was beneath you."
"That doesn’t answer my question, Bell boy." C.C. let out a snicker, her hands tickling his arms.
"No? Doesn’t it?" Niles let out a groan as they both looked towards his ringing phone.
"Don’t answer it." C.C. reached for his hand, but Niles had already reached for the phone. C.C. let out a groan eyeing him.
"Hello?" Niles cleared his voice trying to sound less hung over.
"Niles! Old man! How are you feeling this morning?" Maxwell tried to hide the fact he was worried.
"Fine…" He let out a groan as C.C.’s hands started to tease his body once more.
"I hate to tell you this, but C.C. is missing." Maxwell let out a long sigh. "I have Noel right here, and her family is worried sick about her."
Niles let out a groan handing the receiver towards a grumbling C.C. "It’s for you." He returned to exploring her body as C.C. let out a groan.
"What?" C.C.’s voice was full of anger as she glared at a smirking Niles. "I’m in one piece, Maxwell… no? Well put him on the phone." She tried her best to put on her annoyed face, but let out a giggle as Niles found the right ’spot’ to tease her. "Noooo Noel…" C.C. bit her lower lip trying to hold back a moan. "I’m ’Fine’" She once more glared as Niles in a quiet warning he would pay for his teasing.
"Sorry..." Niles smirked as C.C. rolled her eyes.
"Yes… Well, tell mother to chill… I’ll come over in a bit." C.C. hung up the phone letting out a big sigh.
"Come on… I’ll drive you to them!" Niles touched her cheek tenderly and C.C. let out another sigh standing up. Niles let out a groan as her naked body was now displayed before him.
"I’m in no big hurry, Bell Boy." C.C. let out a playful purr as she walked towards the bathroom. "Care to wash my back?"
Niles let out a groan standing up and following her to the bathroom.
Niles had to do some quick explaining to Maxwell about why Miss Babcock was in his room. Mrs. Sheffield wasn’t helping matters much as she started to connect the dots of the previous night.
"Who are you?" Fran let out a gasp as a light bulb went on in her mind.
"I have no idea what you mean, Mrs. Sheffield." Niles let out a snicker looking at his watch. He watched as Maxwell was gathering up his children to go to the local country club for a horseback ride.
"I thought you hated her?" Fran tilted her head and Niles shook it slow.
"Are you coming, darling?" Maxwell let out a groan holding the limo door open for her.
"Yes… I’m not done with you yet, Mista." Fran tapped his shoulder and Niles let out a soft groan.
They had driven up from New York City to Vermont in two separate cars for the wedding. Niles had driven Maxwell up only a day before the ‘wedding’ and Fran had arrived earlier in the week. Niles let out a groan, looking at his watch while standing next to the limo he was driving.
"What do ya think?" C.C. let out a soft laugh as Niles turned around letting out a sharp gasp. C.C. was standing there in one of his oversized t-shirts and a pair of his sweats. "Well?"
"I have never seen you look more stunning." Niles let out a soft laugh as C.C. blushed.
"Well, don’t get used to it." C.C. kissed his lips softly. "Now take me to my father’s country home so I can face the firing squad."
Niles shook his head walking towards the driver’s seat. C.C. let out a groan as Niles lowered the window that was raised between them. "What’s wrong now?"
"I would prefer to have you back here." C.C. patted the back seat and Niles let out a soft laugh.
"Come on, Caca… Someone has to drive." Niles winked and started up the limo.
"Did Maxwell give you a hard time?" C.C. blushed at the thought of Maxwell finding her in Niles’ room.
"I thought you didn’t care about what he thought?"
"I don’t, dust buster… It’s just." C.C. shook her head as Niles pulled out.
Niles let out a grumble thinking about the hidden reason. "What is going to happen next with us, Miss Babcock?"
"We will see…" C.C. let out a huge groan noticing something in her father’s drive way. "I’m in trouble."
Niles narrowed his eyes noticing Chandler waiting in the driveway with Stuart and B.B. Babcock. "What does he want?"
"Trouble." C.C. let out a low hiss as the limo came to a stop. Niles blinked watching B.B. run towards the door.
"Get away from me mother!" C.C. waved her mother off hoping out on the drive way.
"Where are your clothes?" B.B.’s face twisted in pain and C.C. let out a husky chuckle as Niles stepped outside the limo.
"I burned them…" C.C. turned her head towards Chandler. "What do you want?"
"To talk!" Chandler’s voice was full of guilt. "We need to talk, C.C." He lowered his voice, and Niles thought he looked like a little boy.
Stuart shook his head walking up to peal his wife off C.C. "Give them a moment, my dear."
C.C. let out a snicker as Chandler lightly pulled on her arm. "Do that again, and you’ll lose a few fingers."
*********************************************************************
"I’m sorry for what I said…" Chandler lowered his voice but Niles could still hear him. "I still want to marry…" Chandler lifted up his head noticing Niles and tried his best to lead C.C. away.
"I’m staying right here…" C.C. let out a growl and Chandler took a good look at her clothes.
"Who’s …. Clothes are you wearing?" Chandler’s hands balled into fists, and glared towards Niles.
"Who’s do you think?" C.C. clicked her tongue letting out a husky laugh.
"Did you sleep with him?" Chandler’s voice was full of anger and C.C.’s eyes lit up into a bright smile.
"With remarkable enthusiasm." C.C. let out a snarl as Chandler’s jaw dropped. A moment later he rushed towards Niles.
"Chandler!" C.C. called out as Stuart went towards Chandler who was doing his best to punish Niles.
Niles felt the first blow hit his face with a huge amount of force, but blocked the second as Stuart Babcock rushed to pull Chandler away from him. "You used her!" Chandler roared as C.C. reached Niles, touching his face.
"I would say that’s an improvement, dust buster." She frowned looking at the huge red mark around his eye.
Niles let out a groan touching her cheek. "I’m alright..." He whispered softly feeling his chest, and they both turned to see B.B. Babcock glaring at them.
"You slept with this servant?" B.B.’s mouth was moving slowly as she glared at her youngest child.
"No, I did naked wrestling with him mother." C.C. rolled her eyes looking at her father who started to laugh.
"She is an adult." Stuart shook his head pushing Chandler aside. "I think it’s time for you to go."
"We could have been happy…" He whispered softly in C.C.’s ear before leaving.
"Your daughter has lost her mind again. I’m calling her doctor." B.B. went towards the house leaving Niles, Stuart and C.C. standing in the drive way.
"Daddy… give me a moment." C.C. touched her father’s chest and he smiled.
"Alright kitten… I’ll be near if you need me." Stuart walked towards the house, and C.C. turned to face Niles.
"What now, Babs?" Niles let out a sigh touching her cheek.
"I don’t head back to New York until next week." C.C. let out a groan. "How about we settle things then? Take another step?"
Niles let out a groan and looked towards the house seeing B.B. Babcock looking outside. "Is she going to give you any trouble?"
"I eat trouble for breakfast." C.C. leaned into him sharing a soft kiss.
"If you need me… please…" Niles felt his heart race as C.C. touched his face tenderly. "I know what spells you Babcock’s can cast on one another."
"We have thick skin." C.C. now wrapped her arms around his neck smiling.
Niles fought back a comment, and kissed her lips. "I’ll see you soon."
C.C. let out a groan watching Niles pull out of the drive way, and felt Stuart’s hand on her shoulder. "What happened between you two last night?"
"Long story, daddy…. How freaked out is mother?" C.C. tilted her head towards the house as Stuart let out a long sigh.
"She’s trying to call Bort right now." He let out a snicker as C.C. rolled her eyes. "Did you tell Niles why Chandler walked away?"
"We didn’t have time to talk about it." C.C. blushed looking at her father. "So mother wants me to head back to ‘The Place.’" C.C. walked towards the house as Stuart shook his head.
"It might be a good idea if you make yourself lost for a few weeks."
"So she ‘means’ to do it." C.C. let out a snicker walking inside and walking up the long stair case.
"I’m sorry, kitten… for everything…You know the reason she’s doing it."
C.C. stopped for a moment looking into her father’s eyes. "I’ll make good my escape, but I want to write Maxwell and Niles… Would you deliver the letters?"
"Course, and hurry." He waved her onward as C.C. quickly climbed the stairs.
"Stuart! " B.B. walked inside the hallway waving her finger. "First your daughter admits to her future husband that she’s in love with some servant… then… she shows up here having done God knows what…."
Stuart took his ex-wife’s hand letting out a groan. "She’s an adult."
"She’s off her rocker again! I’m putting her back in the hospital."
"B.B…. Bort isn’t going to let you do that." Stuart narrowed his eyes looking at her. "She’s sane. And, for the first time ever, at peace."
"Make sure she doesn’t leave or I’ll make your life a living hell!" B.B. walked out of the room and Stuart let out a huge groan.
"You already do that, my dear." He mumbled, looking upstairs and walking up quickly.
C.C. started to toss a few things in a bag and let out a groan looking at her two finished letters. She knew where she would go until her father had dealt with B.B. "What’s wrong?" She turned to see a frowning Stuart behind her.
"Here!" He placed a rather large envelope in her hands. C.C. opened it letting out a large gasp. C.C. looked at the rather large stack of cash and the open plane ticket to Las Vegas.
"She still lives near there, and I’ll send word you’re coming." Stuart flashed a guilty smile. "I know you been helping them out too, kitten."
C.C. blushed looking at her father. They both shared this secret together, and C.C. suspected it might be the reason her mother was freaking out over Niles now. "I’m sorry, daddy… I wanted to tell you."
"It’s alright…" He placed a set of keys in her hands. "There is a jeep in garage four." He winked as C.C. placed the letters in his hands. He then gave her a cell phone. "I’ll see about handling your mother."
"Oh, like you always do?" C.C. let out a chuckle grabbing the two bags. "Love you." She stood up kissing his cheek.
"Love you more… I’m sorry yesterday ended the way it did."
"It was a false start to a ‘bad’ marriage." C.C. let out a long snicker. "Give them those letters daddy please… "
"You have my word." Stuart waved her out the door. "Go... She’ll find a doctor soon if Bort won’t send you back to ‘The place.’"

Niles let out a groan dusting the living room table. It had been two days since the failed wedding, and he had spent his days reliving that night over and over again. "What’s wrong, Niles?" Maxwell walked up touching his old friend’s shoulder.
"Nothing sir." Niles walked away, but he always kept one eye on the door hoping C.C. would return from her father’s house. "I just have this bad feeling."
"Are you feeling alright, old man?" Maxwell tilted his head. "If you want to talk about it?"
"No sir… it’s just…" Niles blinked as the door bell rang out. He jumped towards the door and answered it for Stuart Babcock. "Mister Babcock!" He let out a groan, now worried that C.C. was in trouble.
"Niles… Maxwell." He smiled at both men and walked inside. "Can we go to your office, Maxwell?" He tilted his head. "Niles, please join us as well."
Stuart let out a long sigh as the door closed behind Niles. "B.B. wants C.C. back in the hospital for your… ermm…" He looked towards a blushing Niles as Maxwell tilted his head towards his old friend.
"His what?" Maxwell let out a groan. "Niles, what did you do old man?"
"It isn’t important, sir." Niles let out a long sigh shaking his head. "Where is she now?"
"I have an idea, Niles." Stuart pulled out two envelopes. "This is for you Maxwell, and for you Niles." He placed it in Niles’ hand letting out a long sigh.
Niles tore open the letter letting out a soft groan. He looked down at the postcard and letter. ‘You have time off from Maxwell, and I suggest you use it…’ Niles flipped over the post card to see the old Las Vegas hotel. "Great."
"What’s wrong, old boy?" Maxwell looked over as he was grumbling at Stuart.
"Nothing, sir." He quickly put the post card in his pocket.
"She isn’t sure how long she’ll be gone?" Maxwell let out a groan. "BUT she’ll handle things?"
"She has her ways, Maxwell." Stuart flashed Niles a wink, walking towards the office door. "Good day, gentlemen. I have to deal with Chandler."
"Deal with him... Beat him..." Niles grumbled under his breath.
"She’ll deal with it…" Maxwell let out a groan eyeing Niles. "Did she give you any hint of where she is, old boy?"
"She didn’t leave me a map, sir…" Niles let out a groan.
"Not a clue?" Maxwell shook his head.
"If you give me a week off I could ‘find’ her for you." Niles smirked as Maxwell let out a soft chuckle.
"B.B. Babcock called here the other day thinking I might have had some ‘contact’ with her." Maxwell rubbed his chin. "I am worried about her."
"I’ll go pack my bags." Niles walked quickly out of the room before Maxwell had a change of thought.
******<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
"You’re insane." C.C. turned her head towards the brown headed woman who started to laugh lightly.
"Come on, just one more trip! You’ll love the rest of the reservation." Tara Cloudkicker was one part Navajo Indian, and one part trouble. She was in her early twenties and had a twinkle in her eye that made C.C.’s heart stop. "What’s that look for."
"I’m supposed to be hiding."
"Yeah, who would suspect a ‘Babcock’ like you to be hanging around these parts?" Tara let out a husky chuckle.
"I’m sorry..." C.C. let out a long sigh looking at the young woman.
"For?" Tara let out a snicker turning the jeep down the dirt road.
"For not inviting you." C.C. blushed as the woman let out another loud chuckle. "Why are you laughing?"
"I’m not upset… Mother said he wasn’t the one for you anyway." Tara winked as C.C. blushed.
"How is Nanny Erin?" C.C. let out a sigh as Tara laughed again.
"She’s looking forward to seeing you! She’s got two rooms made up."
"Two?" C.C. blinked as Tara let out another chuckle.
"He’s going to follow you soon." Tara lowered her sunglasses glasses stopping the car. "You left him that post card, didn’t you?"
"I’m… just worried he won’t." C.C. rolled her eyes as Tara grabbed C.C.’s bag.
"Well… come on! She’s waiting for you." Tara let out a sigh as C.C. walked inside the wooden house. The home was rather large and nice. C.C. turned to see the black haired woman smiling. She had aged well since she had been C.C.’s nanny.
"Erin!" C.C. flashed a smile as the elder woman hugged her waist tightly.
"Let me look at you..." She pulled back looking C.C. up and down. "You don’t look like a woman who has lost her mind."
"Mother thinks my big mouth cost me a sure thing." C.C. let out a groan as the woman pulled out a chair and offered it to C.C.
"Was it a sure thing?"
"No..." C.C. narrowed her eyes looking at the plate of cookies. "I….I…."
"You… You?" Erin smirked as Tara walked in the door.
"I’m going to start dinner, mom…." Tara waved her hand leaving them alone in the kitchen.
"I’m sorry I didn’t invite you two to the wedding. But you know, with mother and all." C.C. lowered her head as Erin let out a soft laugh.
"I have had my battles with B.B. Babcock…" Erin looked down then back up into her eyes. "Chastity…. What happened?"
"I told Chandler I had a crush… no… I was in love with another man…" C.C. chewed on her lower lip.
"What did he do?"
"Walked out of the church…" C.C. let out a groan. "I wasn’t even upset nor surprised….. "
Erin pulled out a newspaper handing it to C.C. "I had Tara pick up a New York paper today….The tribal elders already know you’re here."
C.C. glared at the headline. ‘Missing Business Woman Walks Out of Her Own Wedding.’ "Yeah… ‘I’ was the one who ‘walked’ out." C.C. put down the newspaper feeling her blood run cold.
"She is your mother…" Erin narrowed her eyes looking at C.C.
"She’ll find a new flavor of the ‘month’ and leave me alone soon enough." C.C. shook her head. "I…I…" C.C. blushed as Erin smirked looking into her eyes.
"You did what?"
"I slept with him…. I found him already drunk, and…" C.C. let out a slow hiss.
"So the truth comes out, and of course your mother found out about your affair." Erin let out a soft chuckle. "Did she point out that you’re Stuart’s daughter?"
"A few times." C.C. looked down at her cup.
"Do you love him? Really love him, Chastity?" Erin tilted her head watching C.C. whimper.
"I feel… alive… when we battle… When he kissed me… Made love to me… I was drunk with desire."
"Can you live without him?" Erin let out a sigh as she handed C.C. a cup of coffee. "Can you see yourself standing beside him no matter what his profession is?"
"Are you thinking about you and daddy again?" C.C. tilted her head looking at the elder woman.
"B.B. will prepare a storm for you, C.C., if you really want to go ahead with your love… your desire for this man." Erin let out another sigh. "Are you ready for the fight of your life? Are you ready to face what she can do to you?"
"I ….I... Need to think."
"Which is why I don’t mind having you here." Erin smirked looking her over. "We will have to make a few changes so no one else hunts you down."
"What kind of changes?" C.C. narrowed her eyes.
"First off, your trademark blonde hair… for a time…" Erin reached up touching C.C.’s hair. "…will have to go."
"Oh…. Niles is going to have a field day with this." C.C. held back a soft laugh.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
Niles let out a groan looking at the slot machines. His mind wanted to relax and enjoy the sites and sounds of Las Vegas. "Mister Butler?" The small voice rang out in his ears as he turned around.
Tara smirked looking Niles up and down. "Well, you are indeed kinda cute!"
"Pardon me, miss, but do I know you?" Niles blushed at the young woman who took his arm.
"No, but I know you." Tara pulled his hand leading him away. She was wearing something he might find on Fran Fine Sheffield, and Niles couldn’t help but gaze. "Stop looking or I’ll tell…"
Niles blushed as she had pulled him towards the garage. "Miss I have no idea who you are…"
"I was told to tell you something… Quiet down, dust buster, and follow the girl."
Niles narrowed his eyes as Tara let out a groan. "Dust Buster?"
"My name is Tara Cloudkicker…." Tara held out her hand smiling. "If you don’t come with me Chastity will be quite upset…" Tara put her hands on her hips holding out an envelope.
Niles took the letter narrowing his eyes. "Chastity?" He let out a soft snicker opening it up.
"You mean she hasn’t told you her first name?" Tara let out a soft laugh. "Oh boy… I’m in trouble." Tara let out a groan opening the door for Niles.
‘Trust her, bell boy… I’m okay…C.C.’ Niles read the simple letter over and over again and raised his eyes to meet Tara’s "How did you know I was coming?"
"A Babcock has her ways…" Tara winked as Niles jumped in the woman’s Jeep.
Niles let out a groan shaking his head. "Where is she?"
"A ways away… Hold on to your seat, Bell boy... It’s going to be a rather long ride." Tara let out a groan starting up the jeep. "Let’s hope I can loose the detectives…. And stay down…"
"Detectives?" Niles blinked as Tara pushed him down some.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
C.C. let out a groan looking at her brown hair. "I… I look rather…"
"I think you look good my dear." Erin placed her hands on C.C.’s shoulders. "The long hair also helps."
"So, did Tom tell you who was sneaking around today looking for me?" C.C. bit her lip letting out a soft groan.
"It doesn’t matter. They didn’t find anything." Erin let out a sigh.
"Yet…"
"You know, if you had married Chandler… B.B. wouldn’t be your next of kin anymore… You could marry Niles." Erin let out a soft laugh watching C.C. blush. "You have thought of that!"
"Maybe… sort of… kind of…" C.C. blushed letting out a soft groan. "I don’t know."
"You love him…" Erin watched as C.C. started to pace the room.
"Yes…" C.C. closed her eyes letting out a soft groan. "I ‘crave’ him."
"Well he’s pulling into the driveway right now." Erin let out a sigh looking outside.
C.C. felt the color drain from her face as her heart stopped beating for a moment. "I don’t look… I mean…"
"You look fine for a woman who is on the run." Erin let out another laugh walking outside.
Niles looked around as Tara jumped out of the jeep. "Here he is mom. Without a scratch!" Niles narrowed his eyes looking at the elder woman. She looked around her fifties. She flashed a smile towards Niles.
"How much did Tara tell you? I’m Erin Cloudkicker." She smiled offering her hand towards a grumbling Niles.
"Niles…"
"He won’t tell me his last name, mom…" Tara let out a groan taking Niles’s small bag.
"Where is she?" Niles lowered his voice eyeing the two women.
"She’s in one piece." Erin took his arm shaking her head. "Come on, you never know who might be watching us."
C.C. felt her heart stop as she backed out of the room. She felt her hands entangle in the strange long brown hair as Niles walked inside the house. "Cha…. C.C., come on now!" Erin called out letting out a grumble. "She was here just a moment ago."
"Did you do it mom?" Tara jumped up and down letting out a soft giggle. Niles raised his eyebrow turning towards a smirking Erin.
"In order for her to be seen around the Reservation we made a few changes to her appearance. " Erin watched as Niles was fighting a fit of laughter.
"Well where is ‘She’" Niles turned around looking behind a curtain. "Come on, Babs!"
"Babs?" Both women let out a grumble eyeing one another.
"So you really talk like that?" Tara felt her mouth twist.
C.C. let out a sigh shaking her head coming out of her hidden spot. "Quiet down dust buster. I think the whole world heard your belly aching." She shook her head as Niles’s jaw dropped.
Niles narrowed his eyes taking in the site of C.C. Babcock with long brown hair. "What did they do to you?"
"What, you don’t like it? You always said I was a brunette." C.C. turned around and Erin pulled Tara out of the room.
"I think you proved your point that you are really blonde." He lowered his voice and noticed that the other women had left the room.
C.C. walked up towards him wrapping her arms around his neck. "Did I, lover?" She tilted her head as Niles kissed her lips lightly. "I…I…"
"You…You…" Niles smirked watching her twist in his arms.
"This isn’t easy for me, bell boy." C.C. narrowed her eyes as Niles let out a groan.
"I heard you can’t really teach a dog new tricks…" Niles let out a groan as C.C.’s hands went down to his rear pinching it. "OUCH! What was that for?"
"Would you be serious for just a moment?" C.C. kissed his lips softly as Niles felt his whole body shiver.
"If you do that again…..that won’t be possible." Niles let out a sigh releasing her. "What’s going on Babcock? Who are these women? What is going on?"
"First of all…. Mommy thinks I’ve lost it." C.C. let out a grumble sitting down on the leather sofa. "Babcock’s and servants are never supposed to mix."
"Well, we don’t." Niles smirked. "We are like oil and water… we go together and mix." Niles knelt down looking up into her blue eyes. "Your mother wants to send you back to the ‘place’?"
"I’m not going….. It’s more than that… Niles about..." C.C. let out a groan, her head tilting towards the living room entrance.
"Me?" Tara let out a snicker.
C.C. let out a sigh as the young woman walked inside the room. "Don’t you have a little nosy streak in ya?"
"I learned from the best." Tara let out a sigh. "Allow me to reintroduce myself." Tara eyed C.C. as she started to snicker. "I’m Tara Babcock Cloudkicker."
"Babcock?" Niles raised one eyebrow looking at the young woman.
"Stuart Babcock is my biological Father…" Tara let out a groan. "Not that he ‘ever’ shows up here."
Niles turned his face back towards a blushing C.C. "So…?"
"Erin was B.B., Noel, and my nanny while daddy had custody of us for a few years." C.C. let out a grumble.
"I’m the dirty little secret the Babcock’s don’t talk about." Tara smirked as Niles let out a laugh.
"So the ‘real’ reason why your mother doesn’t like servants surfaces… now, if you would only tell me the whole story about why Chandler ran out of your wedding." Niles narrowed his eyes as Tara let out a soft laugh.
"I’ll tell you!" Tara came forward as Erin reentered the room.
"I’m sorry…" She pulled her on daughter letting out a soft laugh.
Niles took C.C.’s hands looking up into her blue eyes. "I was worried about you, Babs."
"Were you now?" C.C. let out a snicker as Niles kissed her palms.
"I missed you…" Niles leaned over closer as C.C. let out a soft moan.
"Niles…." She stopped him for just a moment. "The reason Chandler left…is because…" C.C. felt her throat tighten.
"Because?"
"I’m in love with you…" It was the softest whisper Niles had ever heard. He reached up kissing her lips softly at first but then C.C. deepened the kiss.
"This is my living room!" Erin called out as Niles let out a groan, pulling away from C.C.
C.C. blushed as her former nanny and half sister stood in the entryway again. "You guys better cut that racket out… because we still have to get dinner on the table." Erin waved a spoon letting out a playful laugh.
"Soon, woman..." Niles let out a soft groan, and C.C. felt her whole body shiver.
The four of them sat down to dinner as Tara started a safe topic about the local college she was attending. C.C. watched as Niles let out a groan watching someone else serve dinner for once. "What’s wrong?" Erin stopped as Niles shook his head.
"He’s used to waiting on others." C.C. let out a snicker as Erin made sure Niles remained in his seat.
"It…I... I feel out of place." Niles grumbled as he started to eat the meal.
"You’re a guest in my home." Erin sat down smirking. "Now enough small talk! What are we going to do about your mother?"
"You mean she can’t hide out here forever?" Tara let out a snicker as Erin glared at her daughter.
"Tara…" She let out a hiss.
"I’m going to deal with her soon enough." C.C. reached under the table finding Niles’s hand waiting for her. "I have an idea."
"If this involves sticking it to the old witch, then I’m in!" Tara let out a laugh as Erin rolled her eyes.
"It does... But doesn’t involve you." C.C. shook her head as the young woman flashed a playful pout.
"Why not?"
"Because it doesn’t!" C.C. let out a grumble as Tara stood up. "Come on Tara, how old are you? 20 or 12?"
"No, it makes her a Babcock." Niles muttered under his breath and felt C.C. pinch him hard. "HEY woman! What was that for?"
"Don’t encourage her." C.C. glared at Niles as Erin cleared her throat.
"Stay out of it, Tara." She glared at her child. "This isn’t our fight."
Tara lowered her head, letting out a mumble while picking at her plate. "Stay out of it..." She nodded towards her mother letting out a long sigh.
Erin smiled tilting her head towards Niles. "So Niles… C.C. tells me you are a butler?"
"So she admits it?" Niles smirked looking at C.C. once again. He studied her dyed hair letting out a long sigh.
"What’s wrong?" C.C. blinked looking back at him.
"It seems to suit you." Niles snickered as C.C. kicked him under the table.
"Do you two always act like this?" Erin let out a soft laugh as Niles groaned.
"We still need to get him fixed." C.C. hissed as Niles lowered his head.
"You might regret that, Caca…." Niles flashed a wicked smile that caused C.C.’s body to shiver.
Tara’s face twisted in pain. "Remind me never to have a boyfriend like this…" She stood up from the table taking her plate. "I have a few things … I need to do… anyone need anything?"
"Earplugs…" Erin let out a soft laugh watching Niles and C.C. exchange bashful looks.
"I sooo don’t want to know…" Tara let out a groan walking out of the door.
Erin looked back towards her guests. "You know my view, C.C., on what could ‘fix’ things."
C.C. let out a snicker as Erin cleared the table, and walked out of the room. "Sorry, the one thing they don’t have here is tact." C.C. rolled her eyes standing up.
"Like you ever did." Niles snickered standing up. "What was Miss Erin’s idea?"
"Nevermind…" C.C. snickered.
"No seriously, what’s her idea." Niles walked over and touched her cheek lightly. "The long hair is really attractive C.C." He lowered his voice in a husky tone. "The color will need to go as soon as this is over with…. I’m sure you still have plenty of blonde hair dye back in New York."
C.C. let out a soft snicker as Niles pulled her into another tender kiss. "You really love me?" He whispered in her ear.
"Yes…" She let out a soft groan.
"Then tell me her idea." Niles found his hand running up her leg as C.C. let out a soft groan. "Please…."
"She said we should get married…" C.C. groaned as Niles let out a soft laugh.
"I was dying inside when you were about to marry him." Niles let out a soft whimper as C.C. lowered her eyes. "I wasn’t sure what I was going to do…"
"Something drastic?" C.C. let out a sigh touching his cheek. "I’m sorry. It shouldn’t have gotten that far."
"But it did…" Niles put on his best pouting face.
"It did..." C.C. let out a groan. "I thought he was everything I wanted in life."
"Then why didn’t you fight to hold onto him?" Niles tilted his head and C.C. let out a groan. "If he was everything you wanted."
"I was wanting the wrong things." C.C. let out a sigh as Niles nuzzled her neck.
"Why do you love me?" Niles flashed a playful smile.
"I’m after your trust fund." C.C. shook her head and pulled away.
Niles let out a groan. "We have to talk… if this is ever going to work out."
C.C. let out another groan as Erin walked back inside the room. "Okay, I have something worked out for you two."
"What?" C.C. and Niles tilted their heads towards the smiling woman.
"I’m going to tell you both up to my father’s old cabin! Don’t worry I have enough supplies to last you both a few weeks."
"Weeks?" Niles blinked mumbling. "Mister Sheffield is only expecting me gone for a few days!"
"Well … A change of plans because I’m sending you both there." Erin handed Niles two large canvas bags.
"Where… how are we?" C.C. blinked as Erin handed over another bag. "Erin, you can’t be serious? I thought we were staying here!"
"You don’t think B.B. will come here sooner or later?" Erin let out a snicker. "She has a habit of tracking people down."
C.C. felt the color drain from her face. "Did she track you down?"
"Once, but that’s another subject…." Erin waved them both onward. "Come on grab your cell phones and your bags!"
"You heard her, bell boy…" C.C. let out a chuckle as Niles grumbled shaking his head, and watching her walk out of the room.
"Bloody hell. What is Mister Sheffield going to say about this?"
<><><><><><><><><><><><>
C.C.’s eyes went over the rocky desert area and let out a grumble. "Is this in the middle of no man’s land?"
"Yes… My father used to go out there on spirit quests." Erin packed up a horse letting out a sigh. "You’ll find a stable area there too…" She walked over handing Niles the map and a rather large GPS device.
"She’ll get lost using this stuff." Erin jerked her head back towards a grumbling C.C. "I was with you when you got lost in New York….It’s what happens when limo drivers or taxi drivers take you everywhere."
C.C. rolled her eyes letting out a groan. "I’m not a child anymore, Erin."
"No... But you’ll always be that small ten year old to me." Erin let out a sigh hugging her tight. "Tara and I will be by in a few days."
Niles touched the white stallion and let out a groan. "These are wonderful horses… I feel guilty about borrowing them."
"Fang" Erin pointed towards Niles’ white horse. "Hades" She then pointed towards the brown mustang. "Night…" Erin then pointed towards a black mare now carrying their supplies. "Are real treasures… The only reason I’m letting you borrow them... Is because I know C.C. knows how to treat good horse flesh."
C.C. blushed with pleasure and pride at Erin’s comment. "I guess you can tell Tara we will see her soon then?" She hopped up on Hades slowly as the mustang let out a small noise.
"I will…" Erin let out a sigh watching them head off deeper into the wilderness. When they had faded from her sight she pulled out her ringing cell phone. "Thanks for the warning…"
"No need to thank me." Stuart’s voice was soft. "How are you doing, Erin?"
"That is a long story… and I don’t have time for this phone call…" Erin closed her cell phone letting out a grumble. She had been dreaming of his voice since her husband’s death… She had felt his arms around her at night, but she lacked the courage to tell him…
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
Niles let out a grumble getting off Fang. "It’s a valley."
"I can see that." C.C. let out a grumble getting off her horse. "Looks like it has some patches of grass for the horses to graze some."
"We must be getting close." Niles felt his polo shirt stick to his body as sweat came down from his forehead.
C.C. narrowed her eyes looking at him. She had never seen him in causal clothing before. "You look rather…."
Niles turned around smirking as C.C. felt her heart stop. "Rather?" Niles narrowed his eyes noticing she had pushed up her shirt up exposing her slim waist. "You’re teasing me, Babcock." He reached out touching her belly.
C.C. felt her whole body shiver and looked around blushing. "We better get to the cabin."
"No one is around for miles…." Niles held tight the reins pulling her into his arms. "Afraid?"
C.C. let out a groan as her hands explored his back. "No…"
"We could find a place to tie up the horses…." Niles kissed her neck and C.C. let out a groan.
"Niles…. I’m hot…"
"You got that right..." Niles reached down pinching her bottom playfully.
"No... Bell boy… it’s best we head towards the cabin." She let out a groan as Niles’ lips explored her neck. "Are you listening to me?" She let out a giggle feeling his hand pull her even closer.
"I’m done listening….." He pulled her over towards a brush and tied the horses to the tree, not letting her go.
"Niles…" C.C. let out another groan as Niles started a trip of hands and lips on her body pulling her away from the three animals. He started lowering her onto the rocky ground pulling her madly.
C.C. felt out a breath as her shirt was quickly pulled apart. She felt his soft lips teasing her. She then reached for his polo shirt, wanting to once more feel her bare chest on his as the sun glared down on them.
Niles felt the need to free them from their clothes. He felt a sharp ache in his heart to become one with her once more.
C.C. felt her heart pounding in her ears as they lowered down onto the earth. She let out a huge sigh arching her back up and reaching for him.
Niles pushed back her hands letting a playful smile cross his face and his hands reached down to tease her. "Beg…"
C.C. let out a groan, arching up once more and touching his bare chest. "Niles!"
"You heard me, Babs..." He teased her once more holding her hands with one hand and then rubbing her lightly with the other.
C.C. let out a groan and wrapped one of her legs around his waist pulling him even closer. "No!" Her eyes flashed back with the same desire she had that night in his hotel room.
His eyes locked with hers noticing the dirt around them. Neither of them cared that the heat of the day was pushing them to the breaking point. "Yes!"
C.C. let out a hiss and wrapped another leg around his waist. She felt her resolve fading but let out another hiss. "No"
Niles let out a groan releasing her hands. And now, pulling her blue jeans down off her body in earnest, unlocking her legs. In only moments she was naked before him. "Babcock..." He groaned as they both started to toss up even more dirt.
C.C. pulled off his jeans, and soon his underwear followed. She arched up feeling him enter, and closed her eyes letting out a rather large groan.
Niles clawed at the dirt wanting to feel even more of her around him. He leaned over whispering erotic things in her ear, which caused her to become even more vocal. The sun was starting to leave its mark on his bare back, but he no longer cared as C.C. let out another large scream of passion.
She felt her own release trigger his … C.C. let out a groan as, a few moments later, Niles rolled onto his back carrying her with him. "You could have at least grabbed a blanket off the horse." C.C. let out a hiss kissing his dirty chest.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
"Did you loose something B.B.?" Erin was annoyed at the sudden presence of B.B. Babcock in her home. Erin narrowed her eyes and nodded towards the two tribal policemen who had brought B.B. to her home.
"She’s here… or has been here!" B.B. let out a hiss as Erin rolled her eyes looking at her watch.
"Jim, are you going to be much longer?" Erin tilted her head towards a gray headed old man.
"Now, Erin my dear… Just a few more moments… Is Tara home today?" He lowered his glasses staring at his friend.
"She’s out around town picking up supplies…" Erin let out a groan as Jim waved his hand.
"Come on, there is nothing to see here for now… You’ll check in with us if C.C. Babcock contacts you?"
Erin let out a groan as the police left, and she was left standing with B.B. Babcock. "Don’t you have some small children to run over?"
"Listen, you servant… I kept you years ago from joining my…"
"If you say family… I’m going to laugh…" Erin let out a groan and opened the door. "Now get out of my home."
Erin let out a sigh as B.B. walked out of the house and into a waiting limo. Erin watched until the limo faded away. "You can come out Tara…" She tilted her head as Tara jumped down the stair way.
"Did I really need to hide?" Tara let out a sigh.
"I don’t want you anywhere near that woman!" Erin blinked as her cell phone rang out. "You’re better off."
"What ever…" Tara rolled her eyes once. "I just hope C.C. is okay!"
"I think….. She’s keeping herself entertained." Erin let out a groan as Tara started to laugh.
"You didn’t tell her everything about the ‘cabin’."
"No…. let’s drop the subject until we have to run the supplies this week." Erin let out a soft laugh knowing she was in trouble.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
Niles let out a groan as C.C. made sure he was walking around shirtless. "Miss Babcock… I don’t care what you say! I can get a sunburn."
C.C. had been dusting off for the past twenty minutes while ridding. "That’s what you get….. Hey what’s wrong? We’ve been walking around in this valley for a while now."
Niles looked down at the device letting out a groan, and eyed a small cave. "How well do you know this ‘Erin’."
"Niles, she was my nanny for two years... What’s wrong!?" C.C. grabbed the GPS device and let out a sigh. "The CAVE??" C.C. felt her jaw twist in pain and at last drop.
"Great..." Niles stepped forward as C.C. let out a groan. "What’s wrong?"
"I don’t want to go in there!?" C.C. felt her heart pound in her chest thinking about the small space of a cave.
Niles reached for her hand letting out a soft laugh. "You mean the dragon of New York… The Bitch of Broadway is scared?"
"Niles…." C.C. let out a groan. "I’ll stay out here with the horses, and you go check it out."
Niles smirked and nodded. "Alright, stay here for now." Niles walked inside the small cave noticing it was large enough for a horse to walk through. He looked around seeing how part of the cave was set up for someone to stay. He heard water dripping, no doubt deeper within the cave, and saw another entrance that led out into a closed grassy valley. "Place for the horses…" Niles snickered recalling Erin’s words.
"Niles?" C.C. called out as he walked back out side.
"It’s fine! Come on…" He took her hand leading the first horse inside, and quickly went after the other two.
C.C. looked around feeling the rocky floor under her feet. "I could be hiding away in some four star hotel…." She mumbled as Niles walked back inside after allowing the horses to graze.
Niles watched from a distance as C.C. found the makeshift bed, and the box of plates. Her hair glowed in the faint light. "You could be hiding in a hotel, but …" Niles let out a sigh as C.C. turned her head.
"But?"
"It’s not every day you get to make love in a desert." Niles reached her side as C.C. flashed a playful smile.
***********
"Niles, do you think I’ve gone crazy?"
Niles found his hands yet again tracing her curves. "Do you really want me to answer that?"
"Yes…" Her eyes flashed a deep blue looking into his eyes.
"I think you would have been crazy to marry someone you didn’t love." His hand rested on her cheek as he gazed into her eyes.
C.C. closed her eyes nuzzling his hand. "I’m still tired from our, ermmm, desert experience."
"You’re a little red too." His hand touched her forehead. "Come on. I think I heard a water source."
The cave went deeper inside the valley and down as they reached a dark area. "Niles?" C.C. reached for his hand as Niles let out a soft, happy sigh.
"Isn’t this your natural element?"
"No, you idiot! Turn on the light please!" C.C. moved in closer to his bare chest and Niles let out another soft laugh.
"Babcock…" Niles felt his body quiver with hunger as her soft curves pushed into his bare skin.
"I mean it, Niles…" C.C. looked up into his bright blue eyes that twinkled in the darkness. "Turn on … the flashlight."
Niles flashed on the light looking around the damp cave. "Do you feel at home yet Babcock?…..CC?" Niles tilted his head back seeing her shivering. "I was only joking…" He reached for her taking her slim waist in his arms again. "Are you alright?"
"I’m sorry… closed areas have…" C.C. glanced up and felt his lips brush hers.
"Let’s make use of this ‘closed’ area." Niles flashed another playful smile feeling her shiver as she started to nibble as his neck.
C.C. felt the strange need to forget were they were. C.C. pulled at his body in dire need of his protection. She tossed her head around as Niles licked a path way down her neck to nuzzle her now exposed chest.
Niles felt desire take hold as he pushed her against the cave wall, his hand already dropping the flash light. "C.C." His lips once more met with hers creating a spark of passion.
C.C. felt him release her from being pinned for only a moment as he stepped back. "Please…" She mumbled quietly, fearful he was walking away, but noticed he was only picking up and turning off the flash light.
Niles came back to her, dragging her down onto the hard rock floor pulling at her jeans once more. "I’m drawn to you." He mumbled as his hands teased her body.
C.C. felt her mind start to race. The lack of light forced her to become more hands on, touching and reaching out for each muscle. Her hands reached down to feel his bare rear. "Nil…" She couldn’t finish as his soft nibbling on her breast caused her to buck upward.
Niles could no longer suppress his animal like desire for this woman. Every time C.C. was near he wanted to reach out and touch, feel, taste her. His lips traveled downward as he felt her shiver, and then moan out.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><>
"Great." Erin let out a groan as they pulled up in her jeep. "What now?" She tilted her head towards her smiling daughter. Erin got out of the jeep and came face to face with Stuart Babcock.
"I’ll put these away." Tara grabbed both the grocery bags and winked towards Stuart. "See you two later."
"I’ll be right there." Erin put her hands on her hips. "What is it Stuart… You know, you missed BB by two days."
"We need to talk." Stuart put up his arm stopping Erin from walking towards her home.
"CC is safely hidden away… what else do we have to talk about?" Erin let out a groan looking into his bright blue eyes.
"Your father has been dead for two years." Stuart lowered his arm letting out a soft sigh. "She can’t blackmail you anymore."
"Stuart, it was never about the blackmail." Erin let out a long sigh. "That woman has her claws into you, and would never let go."
"No, she doesn’t." Stuart’s voice softened.
"I hear the rumors from New York… Even here." Erin walked over towards the house but Stuart grabbed her arm.
"I’m not leaving until we talk."
"I had no choice, Stuart." Erin let out a soft sigh.
"She regained custody of the children in the end anyway." Stuart’s face broke out into a huge frown.
"We just had a bad start." Erin let out a groan as she looked into his eyes. "I hope you can handle her before she ruins, CC."
"Bort is doing most of the fighting." Stuart let out a long sigh. "BB won’t get far."
"That’s nice to hear." Erin shook her head.
"Erin, can we please talk?" Stuart let out a sigh.
Erin walked towards the door and turned around. "Would you like a cup of coffee?" She put her hands on her hips waiting quietly.
"I would love a cup." Stuart walked towards Erin. "Where have you hidden them away anyway?"
"Daddy’s cabin." Erin flashed a playful smile as Stuart broke out into laughter.
"That’s no cabin, and you know CC is afraid of closed areas."
"I think the two of them can find something to do." Erin flashed a playful grin opening to door to her home. "Now I hope you aren’t staying in a hotel… Tara would love to get to know you at last."
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
C.C. let out a playful sigh. "Your evil."
"I thought you loved me?" Niles nuzzled her neck in the darkness.
"I’m dirty, and it’s hot, but you want to jump my bones every five minutes." C.C. let out a soft laugh. "Why didn’t we do this sooner?"
"Do you really need to ask?" Niles found his hand running up and down her curves. "You hated me, remember?"
"I didn’t hate you." C.C. let out a soft groan as Niles rolled onto his back.
"Well what about…" Niles let out a sigh as C.C. put a hand on his lips.
"What did you do? Keep a score card every time we were mean to one another?" C.C. let out a groan at Niles’ face. "You did!"
"Well how else was I going to keep up with you?" Niles let out a groan holding her tighter.
"We could keep a different ‘score’ card." C.C. found herself wiggling on top of him and Niles let out a soft chuckle.
"Woman! You have to walk at some point this week!" Niles let out a groan pinching her bare rear.
"Look who has an ego, bell boy." C.C. leaned up glaring at him.
"It took me how long to ‘jump’ your bones." Niles let out another soft laugh.
"Pardon me… but you jumped my bones? I think I jumped yours." C.C. let out a soft hiss. "Remember …"
"How can I forget?" Niles smirked and leaned forward. "I jumped your bones."
"Wrong!" C.C. reached for his rear pinching his thigh playfully.
"Woman!" Niles stood up, holding her close, walking in the darkness.
"Niles! Niles! Are you crazy?" C.C. started kicking her legs wildly. "What the heck are you doing?"
"Well... You do need to be cleaned." Niles walked towards the pool of water and felt how cool it was. "I hope you’re ready for this, Babcock!"
C.C. felt the crisp water touch her bare body and shivered in his arms.
"See, isn’t that better?" Niles started to let go but C.C. held on tighter. "What’s wrong?"
"It’s cold!" C.C. felt her teeth chattering.
"We just came from god awful heat, and you’re grumbling about the water?" Niles smirked as C.C. pushed against him even tighter.
"Just don’t let go of me."
"I think you’re stuck with me now, Babs…" Niles let out a soft sigh brushing his lips against hers. "Now and forever."

"Thank you, Bort." Stuart let out a long sigh holding his cell phone tighter. "I know she’s a handful."
"I’m used to it." Bort let out a soft laugh. "Let, C.C. know soon, will you?"
"Sure thing." Stuart closed the phone and placed it back inside his pocket as Erin walked up handing him a cup of coffee.
"I hope you still like it black." She smirked watching him take a sip. "So when shall we ride out and tell them?"
Stuart let out a soft chuckle shaking his head. "There are some things that a father shouldn’t know about his daughter, or I might go crazy." He let out another soft chuckle.
"I forgot about the cabin." Erin blushed and Stuart touched her cheek. "I thought Babcock’s and servants don’t mix."
"I was a fool… and it cost me everything." Stuart let out a soft groan. "I was sorry about your husband and son."
"It took me along time… after the accident." Erin pulled away letting out a sigh. "Stuart, don’t let C.C. make the mistake you did. This Niles is a good man."
"We will see… Erin, I’m not pleased they got together so soon after C.C. was dumped at the alter."
"She didn’t love that man, and I think B.B. was being pushy." Erin let out a groan as Stuart let out another laugh.
"I have no doubt about that, but what does it say about their relationship?"
"That is sort of twisted?" Erin smirked as Stuart let out a groan. "You can stop being such a Babcock. They’ll end up married before too long."
"They both should be so lucky." Stuart narrowed his eyes looking at her. "How did I ever let you get away?"
"Your fault…and mine." Erin let out a soft sad sigh.
"We could try and… start again?" Stuart reached for her hand kissing it softly. "After all, you are no longer my children’s nanny."

"Are you coming or not?" Niles let out a groan.
"Do you really want me to answer that?" C.C. let out a husky chuckle stepping out into the enclosed valley.
Niles let out a soft gasp as his flashlight traced her clothing. She was wearing a purple tank top, and shorts. "Who would have guessed?!"
"Guessed what?" C.C. let out a hiss.
"You really are a woman!" Niles reached for her waist letting out a soft sigh.
"The last ten times didn’t prove that too you?" C.C. let out a snicker while tracing his lips with her fingers.
"That was only research." Niles flashed a bright smile.
"Nilesssss… Come on. We have to check on these horses." C.C. tried her best to wiggle out of his grip.
"I would rather check on something ‘else’." Niles nibbled at her neck and C.C. let out a groan.
"Hellooo?" She touched his chin forcing him to look into her eyes. "Come on, Bell boy!" She at last managed to wiggle free, letting out a husky laugh.
"I’m sorry… I have all these built up fantasies about you." Niles’s face dropped like a pouting school boy.
"Is that the only reason you love me?" C.C. flashed her light around as one of the horses came forward to receive a small treat.
"Isn’t it enough?" Niles reached out for another horse and felt a slap on his back. "You know the reasons why I love you."
"Tell me again." C.C. waved the horse on and turned to look into his blue eyes.
"No other woman can match wits the way you can." Niles walked around her like he was on the hunt, and she was his prey.
"That’s it?" C.C. let out a whine. "Are you sure you graduated from Oxford?" C.C. rolled her eyes, and felt his strong arms pull her into his grip.
"Silly woman, and yes I do mean woman." Niles let out a groan. "You’re my life, and I would be lost without you."
"That’s more like it." C.C. let out a playful purr.
"I'm drawn to you. Then again, large objects have a rather large pull." Niles let out a laugh, but it was quickly followed by a yelp of pain. "I was kidding, CC!" He cried out as CC had a hand full of his hair.
"Jokes about my weight will only cause you pain, bell boy." C.C. let out a hiss giving his hair one final tug.
"You know I love you." Niles rubbed his head displaying a pouting look.
"Prove it." C.C. crossed her arms looking into his eyes. "Tell me how we are going to get out of this mess?"
"You could marry me." Niles smirked as C.C. let out a groan.
"Didn't we start this mess during one failed wedding?" C.C. let out a long sigh but Niles groaned quietly.
"This is different." Niles let out a growl.
"How is this any 'different.'" C.C. rolled her eyes.
"Because... now that I have you, Miss Babcock." Niles let out a playful hiss watching C.C. in the moonlight. "I will not, and could not, ever let you escape."
"That's so sweet..." C.C. let out a soft sigh.
"Besides, gravity has a way of pulling..." Niles stopped in mid sentence as C.C. put her hand over his mouth.
"Why can't you quit while you’re ahead?" C.C. let out a groan.
"Because... things don't work that way?" Niles took her hand kissing it tenderly. "We could easily run off right now and do the 'deed'."
"You make marriage sound so dirty." C.C. blushed looking into his blue eyes.
"With you anything is 'dirty'." Niles flashed a smile.
"Is that so?"
"If done right it is." Niles reached out pulling her closer. "We could sneak back and leave, Erin a small note."
"We could." C.C. let out a soft happy sigh. "You really want to do this?"
"Yes..." Niles let out a soft growl, kissing her tenderly, not allowing her a chance to say no.
C.C. felt her whole body shiver and let out a soft moan as his lips touched her lips. His whole body demanded a response from her. C.C. felt her legs give way, and Niles held her up letting out a quiet laugh that echoed in her mouth.
"I don't suppose that was a yes, Babcock?" Niles released her lips, letting out a moan that filled the night air.
"I'm still thinking about it...how about... you give me just a sample of what's to come?" C.C. displayed a quiet smile as Niles let out another laugh.

"Where are they?" Stuart walked into the man made cave looking around. "They should be here." He let out a grumble but stopped noticing Tara's wicked grin.
"What?" Tara blinked as Erin walked towards her daughter.
"I know that look." Erin let out a growl waving her hand towards Tara. "You know something."
"Her sisters get that same grin." Stuart let out a long sigh and Tara let out a loud husky chuckle.
"He admits it! See, it wasn't that hard."
"Tara..." Erin let out a groan. "What do you know?"
` "That it's hot and dirty?" Tara backed away from her parents.
"She has been taking notes from C.C." Stuart shook his head towards Erin.
"Alright! Alright! I guess it's past time I gave you both this anyway." Tara produced a small note from her back pocket, and Stuart reached for it. "Not just yet..."
"Tara!" Stuart and Erin let out a hiss.
"That's better." Tara handed the note letting out a giggle.
Stuart pointed the flash light at the small piece of paper.
If you are reading this... Then we are already in Vegas!
Love
CC and Niles
"Told you so." Erin folded her arms and Stuart stood in shocked silence.
"They came back to the house around one in the morning." Tara let out a grumbling giggle. "I helped them with the horses."
"She's too old for me to ground her." Erin let out a snicker once more looking over Stuart's shoulder. "Stuart!" She poked him. "Are you alright?"
"I... I don't believe it... She would get married without her family?" Stuart blinked awake from his dazed look.
"Don't even think about commenting." Erin waved a warning hand towards a smirking Tara.
"So... Are we going to chase them down or not?" Tara stomped her foot looking towards her parents.
"You bet we are." Stuart folded up the paper letting out a soft laugh.

"Are you going to get rid of that color?" Niles let out a soft sigh playing with C.C.'s long brown hair.
"God, yes..." C.C. snuggled his chest as plane signaled for take off. "Why didn't we leave earlier?"
"You really want me to answer that question... You sex crazed..."
"Are you ever going to let me have the last word?" C.C. lifted her head up to look into his strong proud face.
"I will..." Niles flashed her a coy grin.
"When?"
"During our 'I dos'" Niles reached down pinching her thigh.
"Any other time?" C.C. purred returning his pinch.
"Careful, trollop... we don't have enough time on this plane for me to..." Niles blushed as a woman walked up and took her seat.
C.C. let out a husky chuckle leaning back in her first class seat. "They'll be plenty enough time for that."
"Not enough time.... I can't believe we started this journey with one wedding."
"Things have a habit of coming full circle." C.C. leaned over kissing his lips. "Have I told you thank you yet?"
"For what?" Niles reached out with his hand touching her soft cheek.
"Not giving up on me." C.C. let out a sigh and nuzzled his hand.
"I think ... isn't there a saying ....." Niles let out a soft happy sigh. "When journeying down the long dark road, we must continue on and never give up faith we'll one day reach our goal."
C.C. let out a soft laugh. "You old softy."
"That's me." Niles leaned in for another kiss.
"We better be careful, we want to make it to Vegas." C.C. smirked as her lips brushed his once more.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
"What's the big deal? They love one another." Tara let out a sigh as Erin and Stuart jumped into the limo. "Come on!"
"Tara... Do you want to miss it?" Erin flashed a grin as her daughter jumped in the limo.
"You're not going to stop it?" Tara tilted her head towards Stuart Babcock.
"Why would I want to stop it?" Stuart flashed a grin, and reached for his cell phone. "The only thing is… I doubt Noel and DD will be able to make Vegas... or even Maxwell and Fran."
Erin displayed a lost look. "Oh... You mean C.C.'s business partner."
Stuart nodded quickly and grinned. "Maxwell! You aren't going to believe this..." He let out a laugh after telling Maxwell Sheffield of Niles and C.C.'s wedding plans.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
"Did you really have to buy that dress?" Niles looked down looking at C.C.'s rather tight wedding dress. "Pleaaaaaase... White, woman?"
"If you make one more crack!" C.C. raised her hand and Niles looked down and back up into her eyes.
"No more cracks... You do look lovely." He reached out for her, touching the beaded gown.
"You look rather smashing in that tux." C.C. let out a soft sigh. "I can't wait until I get you out of it."
"You better be careful, woman." Niles looked up as the man walked out of the chapel. "It's our turn, my love... are you sure you want to do this?"
"Yes... why, are you having second thoughts?"
"Not a chance, Brunette." Niles reached and kissed her softly. "Come on. Let's go take our turn."
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
C.C. let out a giggle as Niles carried her into the hotel lobby. "Gentle, bell boy!"
Niles let out a groan putting her back down on her own two feet. "Yes, Mrs. Butler."
"Niles.... don't call me that unless." C.C. reached his neck tie pulling at it playfully.
"Unless what?" Niles looked around, and C.C. whispered in his ear. She soon broke out into a fit of giggles watching him turn bright red. "We better hurry up to our room."
"Pleaaaaaase... Like that ever....Daddy?" C.C. turned around coming face to face with a grumbling Stuart Babcock. "What a ....."
Stuart smirked watching both Niles and C.C. turn bright red. "Surprise?"
"Daddy... I'm...." C.C. lowered her eyes as Stuart reached for Niles's hand.
"Welcome to the family, Niles..." Stuart sighed looking at his watch. "I guess... I do owe your brother two hundred dollars now."
"What? Why?" C.C. let out a hiss and pushed her new husband aside.
Stuart smirked watching C.C.'s mouth twitch. "He always did say Niles was the one for you. I just didn't believe him at the time."
Niles let out a sigh as C.C. leaned against him. "He is indeed."
"Well kitten... I have a surprise for you.... before you go running off into the night." Stuart turned his head towards Niles. "A surprise for both of you." He waved at a bell boy who gathered C.C. and Niles’ bags. "Don't worry... everything is on me."
Niles tilted his head looking into her eyes. "Well, come on Babcock. Let’s show everyone how to party."
"Right behind you, Bell boy. But, just remember… the game is on once we hit the elevator to head upstairs."
"Don't you know me by now?" Niles reached for her pinching her rear as Stuart led them to a makeshift dinning hall. "The game starts now!"
"Then let it begin."
Stuart shook his head letting out a groan, wondering if the newly weds would be able to control themselves long enough for Maxwell and Fran to arrive. "It's going to be a long night."
The.... End...
