It has been five long years, and Fran was tired of waiting on Max to make a move. Tonight, it was do or die, in her heart. She knew he loves her, but getting him to show it, really show it, was what Fran was waiting on. Tonight, she was planning on going for all or nothing. She loves Max more than life itself. Tonight she would make him hers if it was the last thing she does.
After dinner, she took a long hot bath, and she was playing in her mind what she had hoped tonight would be like for them. Even the times when Max would chase her around the house, the reaming out, when she would be in trouble, the kisses here and there, and when Paris happened, she thought they would be together then, but was wrong.
"What if I give it my best tonight, and only look foolish?" she said to herself. "Well I am going for it." I have to." she said. She longed for them to become one, his touches, his strong hands, holding her. "It must be tonight." she said.
She dressed in the best sexy night attire she had. Her body had the fragrence of her favorite musk. Every part of her was soft to the touch, and as the moment nears, her heart is racing. It was now 10 pm, and the house was quiet.
"Time to make my move." Fran said. She puts on a sexy robe, not the fuzzy towel ones, tonight was going to be focused on romance, love and much passion, atleast she'd hoped. She knocks on his door, Max thought it was Niles.
Max hadn't fallen asleep, he saw something in Fran's eyes earlier, and it puzzled him. He was pondering it. "Fran Fine, the most lovely woman he had ever known." He longed to hold her body to his and ravish her. They had come close so many times, but his gentleman style would keep him from it.
"Come in, Niles, Max said. Fran said, "Well, I am not Niles, but may I come in?" "Sure, Ms.Fine" what is it I can do for you?" he asked. He saw a longing in her eyes. Fran doesn't say anything, and she drops her thin robe which matched her red teddy she was wearing.
Max thought his heart would beat out of his chest when he saw her do this. She walks over and gets under the covers with him. Max and she began kissing. The love between them expressed everything. Words were not necessary.
Max did want to say one thing. "Fran, I love you, this will be the beginning for us, I plede my love to you, and I want you as my wife." he said. He placed a ring on her finger to seal it. "I love you, Max, and I pledge my love for you." Fran said.
They make love, and it is everything they had hoped for. Max wanted her in his bed from then on, and they would soon set a date for the wedding. The next day would be exciting to let the kids know their plans.
The next morning, they tell them at breakfast. The kids erupt in excitement. They celebrate all day. When the kids went to school, Max and Fran enjoyed romance. Max had CC do the the work for the day, she had to run around mostly, and Max had the day with Fran.
They made love most of the morning. He then took her to a nice romantic lunch. Max arranged for a violinist to serinade during lunch. Max knew some of Fran's favorite songs, and the violinist played them. The wine was exquisite.
The food was wonderful, steak and lobster, twice baked potatoes, Fran loves . The atmosphere, and the romance, was breath taking. Max surprised Fran, he wanted to dance with her, and he had roses delivered to their table. The card read" To the most wonderful thing in my life, I love you, Fran, Love Max." "Oh, Max, how sweet!" Fran said.
She kissed Max, and then they danced. Fran's song was Wind Beneath my wings." and they played it for them. Everything max and Fran did together, from dancing to making love, their bodies were always in sync.
"Fran, I want to marry you soon".Max said."How about Valentine's Day?" Max asked. Fran knew he said it, because Valentine's day was when they almost kissed on the billboard that night long ago.
"Oh, Max, yes, it's perfect." she said. The date was set, and the couple were more intoxicating than the wine. It was as if they were the only couple on the dance floor. Max even did the tango with Fran, and romance was hot for both of them
Fran's gown was a beautiful white dress, she could move in it well, good thing, Max dipped her plenty during the dances. They recall the time he showed up to dance with Fran at her reunion, when Erik Estrada had to leave. Her dressed ripped when Max dipped her, during the dance, at the reunion, and was why they had to leave early that night.
They laugh about it now, but Fran confided something to Max. "I believe I knew I loved you, even then, Max." she said. "Fran, I think I loved you the moment you came down in the red dress for the party I had when you first was hired as my nanny." Max said.
Max and Fran danced, sipped wine, and had a wonderful night out. Max made sure there were plenty of these nights up to the wedding. Fran was the type of woman who needed much attention, and Max showered her with it.
The wedding day finally arrived, and both were nervous, but radient. Fran asked Val to be her matron of honor, and all went accordingly. Niles kept a watch on CC, and he was smitten with how CC looked.
Max and Fran decided to wait two weeks before their wedding, to make love, so the anticipation was more exciting, and worth waiting for. Fran slept in her old room those two weeks, but she would go and kiss Max and spend time with him.
The wedding was beautiful. Fran had a beautiful gown, and Max looked stunning in his tuxedo. Max took a deep breath when he saw Fran come down the isle. Fran had a surprise. She was pregnant. She waited until their wedding night to tell Max.
"Honey, I know you want to have time with me before children, but my cycle was late, and a pregnancy test I took says I am pregnant." she said. Max was elated. "Oh, sweetheart, our love is so right, having children with you, completes the circle." Max said.
They kissed. They stayed at the Waldorf, the honeymoon suite. "Mrs.Maxwell Sheffield,""Has a good ring to it" Fran said. Max kisses her. "I will love you until no more breath is left, Fran, and even after, we will dance in the clouds." Max said.
Life was perfect, little did they know twins were on the way, all the merrier.
The End
