"Are you ready, Niles?" Fran asked. "We need to go." she said. "Ms.Fine, Mr.Sheffield said we couldn't go." Niles replied. "It is my vacation, I can go." she said. "Ms.fine, he said you can't take your vacation until 3 more weeks from now." Niles said.
"You pulled the stunt last week, remember?" "Mr.Sheffield was so furious, he cancelled your vacation until 3 more weeks, if you don't do anything else to make him upset." Niles said.
"Niles, relax, Las Vegas is big, and Mr.Sheffield won't find us." she said. "Ms.Fine, I have worked for the man 30 years, believe me, not much gets past him." he said.
"Well, he is gone for a while, so he won't know until he gets back,Niles."she said. "Ma is staying with the kids, and the merry maid service will do your job for you while we are gone." she said. "all well, Ms.Fine, but you are asking for trouble." he said.
They say goodbye to everyone., and they head out. "Niles, we gotta pick up Val, she and I are sharing expenses." she said. They get to the airport. They almost run into Max, he was home early from Paris. Max thought he saw someone who reminded him of Niles, but he thought, "no, he is at home." He dismissed the thought.
Val, Fran and Niles get on their flight. CC calls Max. "Maxwell, your nanny and butler are off to Vegas, without your permission." she said. She gives him the flight info. "If you hurry, you could catch them." CC said.
"Good idea, CC, thanks for telling me." "Are the children being cared for?" he asked. "Yes, Maxwell, Nanny Fine's mother, Sylvia is watching them, and get this, mery maids has a temp butler here." "Oooooh, just wait until I catch up with them." Max said, furious.
"CC, tell Sylvia to carry on, and I will be there soon." he said. CC was happy, she knew Niles and Ms.Fine were in for it.
Max bought a ticket and boarded the same plane the three were on. He didn't let on he was on the plane with them. He was listening to what they were saying. "Boy, I wouldn't want to see the look on Mr.Sheffield's face when he finds out we are gone." Fran said. They all laughed. "Val is the only one who wouldn't be in trouble." Fran said. They laughed some more.
Max was more furious by the minute. Fran had to use the restroom, so Max quickly covered his face with a newspaper, so she wouldn't see him. Niles and Val kept joking and laughing. Fran got back to her seat. She thought , "my that man reminds me of Mr.Sheffield", "No, it can't be." she sat back down.
"uh, Niles, what will Mr.Sheffield do, if he catches us?" she asked. "Ms.Fine, other than maybe firing us, I am not sure." "Whydo you ask?" he asked. "Well, call it paranoia, but there is a guy back there who reminds me of him." she said.
"Ms.Fine, if it were him, believe me, he would be letting us know he had us." he said. "Oh, you are probably right, Niles." she laughs. Soon the dinner cart was out, and the flight attendant was serving. They arrived at Max's seat before the three muskateers, and he said," No, I want chicken, please." Fran and Niles had a panic look on their faces. If it is one thing they know, it is the sound of Max's voice.
"Niles, I am afraid to look." Fran said. "I am to." Niles said. "Val said, " Oh you guys are paranoid."
Max waited until he was done eating, he put away his tray. He traded seats with someone, and now was directly behind his mia staff, and their sneaky friend.
"Oh, we need to stop this, it can't be Mr.Sheffield." Fran said. "Yeah, Ms.Fine, let's stop being worried." he said. Max decided he had had enough of this ficade, and taps Niles and Max on their shoulders. "I think you should both worry." Fran and Niles almost spew their drinks.
"o....y" Fran said.
"Ms.Fine, you can oy all you want, but it won't get you out of hot water." Max said. "How did you find us?" she asked. "I came home early from my trip, and CC told me, she called." he said. "Just what do you think you are doing?" he asked.
"I told you your vacation was not happening." he said. "Niles, what is your excuse?" Max asked. "She made me, sir." pointing to Fran. "Niles, do you see i am already in trouble?" Fran asked. "Yes, Ms.Fine, but it is either you or me." Niles said.
"Both of you are in trouble!" Max said."I want to know the truth and right now." Max said. "I don't hear anyone talking." he said. "What happened, you both were laughing earlier, because you pulled one over on your boss." he said.
"Ms.Fine, get back here, and sit with me." he said. "Mr.Sheffield, I'd rather stay here, thanks." she said."I didn't leave it as an option, Ms.Fine." he said.
Fran gets back there with him, but she isn't happy. "Oh, Mr.Sheffield, I know you're mad, but we are on our way to Las Vegas, couldn't we stay atleast one night?" she asked. "Ms.Fine, we are turning around and going home when we arrive at the airport." he said. "You are not getting your vacation now, at all." he said.
"Niles, it goes for you to." "Ms.Toriello, you can go if you want, but you will be alone." "Mr.Sheffield, please let us go." Fran said. "Ms.Fine, if this had been in a time where you had my permission, it would have been fine, but you didn't!" he screams.
She wants to go back up with Niles, but Max won't let her. "Sit down, Ms.Fine. "I am reaming you out for this." "You get to hear every word of it." he said. They arrive at the airport, and Max gets them return flights. When they get home, Max lays down the rules. "Niles, you are not getting your vacation, and you are not getting your bonus." Ms.Fine, you are to stay home for a week, no dating, no going out at all." "Oh, Mr.Sheffield." she whines. "Care to make it 2 weeks, Ms.Fine?" "No." she replied.
Fran had decided as soon as Max wasn't looking, she would head to Vegas.She smiled. "Ms.Fine!" What are you smiling about?" Max asked. "Oh, nothing." she said. She went upstairs for bed, or did she?"
