The kids were away and Fran and Maxwell were finally alone (except for Niles).
"So Fran what shall we do today"?asked Maxwell.
"Well Mr.Sheffield, hey wait what did you just call me"?
"Um, I called you Miss Fine what else would I call you"?
"You are such a big fat British liar!,you called me Fran."
"Oh Miss Fine your not going to start that again are you"?
"Well what if I am"?replied Fran.
"Because ,oh bloody hell, because well I just don't want to talk about it ,and that's final."
"Well Maxwell Sheffield you can't tell me that's final until there's a big fat harry diamond on my Jewish finger!"
At that comment with nothing to say Max walks out of the living room to his office. Fran steaming just is to angry to even go after him and keep the fight going. She hears the kitchen door opean and in walks Niles.
"So I can just guess your day without the kids is already not going well?"
"Niles there is no disscusion in this house you don't know what happen. Either with those satalite ears of yours or the blam hear everything including someone picking their nose amplified intercom 2999. So you already know what went on and that it wasn't good!OY!!"
"You know what amazes me about you Miss Fine",said Nile,"you said that in all one breath."
"Oh I'm so sorry Niles I didn't mean to bark at you but It's just that I really wanted today to be MY day not anybody elses. I wanted today to be what I've wanted for five years now! Just my day ! Just leave me alone for a while and i'll get over my bad mood."
Niles leaves quitly and Fran is left alone. Niles storms into the office and Max is sitting in his chair smoking a cigar. "Mr. Sheffield if you have any brains in your head you will get you cold fish tocaus in there and kiss that women or she's going to give up on you like she should!"
"You really think she would leave me Niles?"
"Yes you idiot one can only take so much rejection and five years is a record!"
"All right i will!!" By the way Niles"
"What sir?"
"Your fired!"
Max heads out of the room to go to Fran."Miss Fine."
"What Mr. Sheffield?"
"Get up off of that couch and let me talk to you!"Fran reluctanly gets out of her chair and stands up. Max the all of a sudden takes him into his arm and lays a kiss on her that would make romeo blush.When they finally come up for air Max whispers" Fran" and then kisses her again. But then when he seperates from her this time he gasps and leaves the room.Niles comes in and gives Fran a questioning look.
"It was a good day not the best but a good day!"
