the chase ensues, and Fran first gets away, for a small moment. She has never seen Mr. Sheffield so angry. She thinks she hears him go back downstairs, (she has locked herself in Maggie's room, with a narrow escape) So she unlocks the door, and peeks out, doesn't see anyone, begins walking to try and make it to her room. She looks behind her, and Mr. Sheffield had tricked her, he was hiding all along! He grabs her, and says, the pearl necklace could have been safe, but you had to go on your own, didn't you? Fran tries to get away, but he says, oh no you don't, and he brings her over his shoulder to his office, swatting her when she moves, to show he has control. They arrive in his office, he puts her down on the couch, and begins his lecture. "Fran, you had to listen to your mother, instead of me, now what am I supposed to tell Liz Taylor about her missing pearls? I forbid you to be in this house when Ms.Taylor arrived, but you chose to ignore me. Pretending to still have memory loss, having me chase you all over the house, and Ms. Taylor is furious, and so am I. Fran tries to say something, "but, but, Mr., Mr. Sheffield tells her, no, no butts, Ms. Fine, except yours! She says, Mr. Sheffield, what are you doing? He says, something you need desperately, and I am just angry enough to see you get it! Fran says, but, I am not a child, you can't do this to me! He says, I can and will, Ms. Fine, you are going to learn to leave well enough alone and respect my authority. Fran says, well if this is what it will take, then, without another word, Mr. Sheffield turns her over his knee and with each swat, lecturing, Fran squirms and tries to get away, she says, but I didn't think you would do this, and then Mr. Sheffield says, then you underestimated me, Ms. Fine! Twenty minutes pass, and Fran is sorry she made Mr. Sheffield resort to spanking her, he makes her promise to behave from here on out, which she does, rubbing her bottom all the while. He finally allows her to leave, but says, you will apologize to Ms. Taylor, and do whatever necessary to find her pearls and to make this up to her, he says, sternly. She says, yes Mr. Sheffield. He tells her to go and change and to not be late for dinner, he is asking Ms. Taylor over for the apology dinner. Fran promises to be on time. As Fran goes to change and get ready, her mother comes in, and ask what happened, ( she saw the chase) Fran says, oh ma, it was horrible, (yet strangely a turn on) but it is between Mr. Sheffield and I, please understand,,and ma, I can't be late for this dinner, trust me. Sylvia leaves, and Fran rushes to finish getting ready. The phone rings, and it is Val, Fran says, oh, val, I can't talk right now, please understand, Mr. Sheffield already warned me not to be late this evening. Val says, since when do you always go by what he says, Fran,? Fran says, since he showed me earlier what happens when I don't! Val, confused, says, what are you talking about, Fran? Fran says, trust me, Val, it is painfully humiliating, and I am sure I had better make things right as fast as I can, or, or, well, I have to go, Val. Val talks Fran into taking a break. Come, and let's talk a while, let's go to our favorite place, Fran agrees, but says, look ,Val, I must be on time tonight. Val agrees, don't worry, there are still 4 hours for us to play with. Fran meets Val, and Niles reminds Fran, Mr. sheffield told you to be present for dinner, and why are you leaving? Fran says, Niles, I am not grounded, I can go out for a bit. Val says, oh, vey, Niles, what are you saying, my friend and I can go out. Niles responds, ok, but don't expect me to cover for you, should Mr. Sheffield asks as to your whereabouts. Fran says a quick, oy, and leaves with Val. Hours pass, and Val and Fran are dancing, drinking, and forgetting the time. Fran sees a clock, oy, Val, I am late, boy am I am in trouble! They rush to bring Fran home. On the way, Val says, o, Fran, you have always been able to get out of trouble with Mr.Sheffield, why are you afraid now? Fran replies, Val, if you must know, Mr. Sheffield was so furious I disobeyed him and lost Ms. Taylor's pearls, he put me over his knee today, and, Val interupted and said, He didn't? Fran said in her classic whine, He did, Val, and I still can't sit comfortably! Val laughed, and said, Fran, he loves you if he went to this length. Fran thought, oh you're right, Val, he must, but I don't want another one, he promised me I had better not be late and here I am ,late! Val replies, oh vey, you are a wild one, Fran, Fran says, Val, it was your idea to come out tonight. Val says, oh yeah it was. Let's get you home. They arrive, it is 15 minutes til 7pm, and dinner was already on at 6:15 pm. Fran comes in, slowly peeks around, Niles comes in and says, you are late, and you are in it deep this time with Mr. Sheffield! Fran says, What else is new, Niles? She goes into the dining room, hurrying to take her seat at the table, fortunately, she hasn't drank too much. Oh Mr. Sheffield, I am so sorry, I went out with Val, and we lost track, Mr. Sheffield clears his throat, oh, Ms. Taylor, hi, sorry to have kept you waiting, with a smile on her face, and worried look in her eyes. Ms. Taylor is still upset, and replies, hello, so you lost my pearls, how could you? Fran replies, Oh, Ms. Taylor, please don't blame my boss, it was me, blame me, I will find them, please forgive me and give me a chance. Ms. taylor says, I will sue your boss and you if you don't find them, and I will not be in your show, Max, she says with anger. I can't stay, I must leave, and talk with my attorneys. Niles walks Ms. Taylor out. Fran tries to sneak away while Mr. Sheffield isn't looking. "Freeze, Ms. Fine, my office, now!" He grabs her by the arm and they ensue to his office again. Fran tries to explain, but Mr. Sheffield won't hear it, he says, do you remember what I said to you today, right here? She says, yes, but, he stops her, no, Ms. Fine, no excuses, you have had it again! C.C. and Niles listening at the door, and they hear the loud noise from Fran's punishment being loud and clear. Fran begs for leneincy, to no avail, the punishment contiues for many moments. Fran promises to fix things, whimpering as she is then permitted to leave. Niles and C.C trying to not be caught listening. Mr. Sheffield calls Fran once more, saying, you have 24 hours to turn this around, or you, Fran says, oy, I get it, Mr. Sheffield says, exactly! Fran bumps into Niles, and she says, would you not say it, he does, but I told you, Fran cuts him off, yada yada, yes you told me, ( rubbing her bottom as she goes to her room) I will fix it, she says, with a sad look, but determined. Next day, the news is the pearls have been found, but Fran puts the doubt in Mr. Sheffield's mind of the authenticity of the pearls, as he ponders it, he decides to have an expert look at the pearls. Fran says, me and my big mouth, as she goes upstairs. She takes two steps, Mr. Sheffield says, Ms. Fine, get down here, pointing his finger sternly. She does, and he says, If these pearls are fake, I am going to, (mimicking a similiar scene from I Love Lucy), Fran says, oy, don't say oit, Mr. sheffield, I know, I know, but think positive. He tells her to go get ready and come with him to the pearl expert's, she does, and he says quickly this time! While she is getting ready, she is thinking, how I am going to fix this? Just then, by messenger, a box arrives for Fran, it syas, I was going to take these, but want to give them back, they are the real pearls! She is saved from another spanking, as she proudly hands them to Mr. Sheffield, with the note. He has the pearls checked out, and is happy. Fran thinks she is in the clear, off the hook, when the phone rings. It is Liz Taylor, while she is elated of the news her pearls are safe and returned, she says, due to all the stress I have been under I am suing, and I am not doing your play. Fran decides running will only get her more trouble, so she says, reluctantly, I know, I know, and precedes to Mr. Sheffield's office once again. The show ends.

Taking up from the chase all over the house, ( Max had just found out the news that Maggie was going to move in with her boyfriend) Fran gets to the front door, and Max catches her, she tries the Kay Balliard sighting, but no dice, Max doesn't fall for it. He tells Fran, Darling, do you remember what I told you about the fact you need to be Maggie's mother, not her firend? Fran replies, yes, sweetie, I remember. Max then says, and do You remember what I said would happen if something like this happens? Fran says, oy, you mean you would do that? Max replies, and then some, and brings her to the bedroom for the talk she would get. They arrive in the bedroom, Fran says, but honey, can't I have a chance to smooth it all over? Max says, I want you to know this is not something I take lightly, you are going to pay for this, and then, you are going to smooth it over. Now, get over hear, Max says. Fran does, and he spanks her until she promises it will all be alright. The next day, Fran has Max meet her at Maggie's apartment, for a plan. Max warns, this had better work, or you will be sorry, Fran, and Fran replies, honey, you and me both, have faith in me, darling. She fidgets all the way to the apartment. She says, honey, why did you have to spank me so hard, I cannot sit. Max laughs, and says, well, Fran, I wanted you to remember how important this is, and you must not disappoint me on this. Fran says, but honey, my touchas can handle so much, and sitting is painful right now. They get to the apartment, and Max and Fran continue their conversation. Max answers Fran, get this right and you won't get in trouble again. Fran smiles, ok, ok, don't worry. They get to the door, and ring the doorbell. Maggie answers, Micheal, she calls, it is my parents. Dinner goes over well, tho Fran was squirming a little. So, sweetie, Fran says, Your father and I feel you may be rushing things a bit here. Are you sure this is what you want? Max taps her under the table, fighting an "ouch" Fran grins and says, you know, Maggie, as your mother, I must say I think you need to be home, and continue your college dreams, and career. Maggie says, this is what I want, Fran, I mean, mom, I am happy, and I don't need college, when I have Micheal. Fran almost chokes, and says, but sweetie, your father and I have such hopes to see you finish school and get your career going. Can't this wait a while? Max taps her again. This time, she says. Ouch, outloud. Maggie says, daddy, what is going on with you two? Max says, nothing, Maggie, your mother and I are wanting this resolved, and you seem to have your mind made up. Maggie replies, I am a grown up now, daddy, and this is what I want. Fran says, Maggie, you are throwing a promising career away, and you are causing problems between your father and I. Micheal says, with all due respect, Maggie and I are happy, and this is what we want, I even plan to marry her. Max is realing, and wants to leave. He says, Fran, we are leaving, but warns Maggie, this is not the ending of this discussion. Max is silent on the way home, Fran remains the same, as she knows he is very angry. They arrive home, and Max tells Fran, I told you to fix this, and it is now worse. Fran says, honey, it isn't my fualt, if this is what she wants, how can we stop her? He says, you will find a way, and this is why, ( he spanks her again) this time, he does not allow her to get out of it. A half hour goes by, and Fran has had enough, but Max doesn't speak to her anymore for the evening. Fran ponders some ideas, besides, she is so sore from the previous night, she wants no more of the same. She finally comes up with an idea to get her off the hook and Maggie back home. She tells Maggie she needs to come home and make up with her father, or it could end their relationship. Maggie agrees, and comes to talk to her Father. They come up with a compromise. Fran is relieved and so is Max. Maggie will live at home and go to school, but will see Micheal whenever she wants. Max tells Fran, I am sorry you had to learn the hard way, Fran, but I am glad this finally worked out. Fran( rubbing her touchas) says, me to, Max, me to. the end

Maxwell has a big night ahead, investors dinner for his next play. He tells Fran the do's and dont's for the evening, she is putting her makeup on and listening. Maxwell says, Fran, I don't have to tell you how important this dinner is, we cannot afford any thing to mess this up. Fran says, honey, what could go wrong? I love you, trust me, all will be fine. Maxwell leaves the room for a moment, and Fran is saying, oy, how am I going to be the way he needs me to be, I am not classy, and well educated as the big people he is sitting with tonight. It is time to go, and Maxwell rushes Fran out the door into the limo. The evening starts off seemingly well, everyone smiling, happy, content. Unbeit known to Maxwell, Fran has prearranged a surprise to break the ice, she thinks. As the evening wears on, she rethinks her plan, but it is too late to stop it. As the sponsors are impressed with Fran, and Maxwell, the curtain opens, and out comes a comedian to entertain. He asks for a volunteer, (he had already planned to choose Fran) he points to her, she shyly shakes her head no, as she can feel the tension as Maxwell gives her this look, which says, Don't do it,Fran, I will kill you. The comedian comes up and takes Fran by the hand anyway, and to not look foolish, she comes to the stage with him. The comedian tells Fran, this is your big chance, tell us what you really think of this stuffy dinner! She looks over at Maxwell, he is giving her the I am going to kill you look, when she says, ok, well, you know, Maxwell and I have been married a short time, and he is always shepping me to these things. The audience roars, not maxwell, tho. Fran gets comfortable, and seemingly forgets what is at stake, when she gets carried away with her joking. She spills the beans about something private between her and Max, and she was hoping it would break the ice for sure, but it makes Maxwell furious, and all who are sitting with him. The comedian laughs with her, and others, but she realizes she must be in trouble with Maxwell, so as she sits down after more moments of the joking, Maxwell whispers in her ear, When I get you home, you have had it! Fran tries to put a brave front the rest of the evening, hoping Max doesn't find out she hired the comedian herself, and arranged the evening. After the show, the comedian came up and said, thanks, Fran for allowing me into your evening. Fran is trying to shush him before he says it. Maxwell whispers, you are really in for it now. Fran continues smiling, as if nothing is wrong.She is picturing the scenario at home, what did he mean by in for it, and how will she calm him down? The investors said, Maxwell, you have a wild one there, for a wife. Maxwell, says, yes, well, that she is, and mine alone to deal with, looking at Fran sternly. The evening is finally over, and Fran gets in the limo with Maxwell. Finally alone, he says, what were you thinking tonight? Fran says, I was trying to loosen things up, break the ice. Max says, oh you did alright, you may have ruined the whole bloody evening. He continues to berade her, and says, do you remember what happened the last time you ruined a business deal of mine? Fran replies, oh honey, you're not going to do that are you? Maxwell says, oh, yes, and you deserve every bit of it. Fran says, honey, why would you want to, when things still could turn out? Fran, you are going to get it, and now, we are home. Fran runs out of the limo to get in the door before Max. He catches up with her, and says, you are not going anywhere, but across my lap! Niles says, sir, whatever are you angry about? Maxwell says, Niles, hold my calls for the next hour. I will be busy with my wife. Fran says, Niles, help! He says, madam, I would, but he signs my paychecks. Fran says, well I do to, Niles. He says, technically you do, but he still has to approve it. the show ends with Maxwell dishing out what he thinks Fran deserves, when the phone rings, as it turns out, (Niles said he should take this call) the whole plan of Fran's worked, the investors want to back the play, and loved the comedian to. Fran says, you were saying? She says, it looks like the punishment is now reversed! Maxwell says, now Fran, you clearly were out of line tonight, and you went against my advice. Fran says, well it worked, and now, you get the same as I would have. the end.

Sara's parents come to the door, they see Fran exposed, when she opened her robe to Max. Niles is told to get the door and keep them busy while Max hustles Fran upstairs. Max reams Fran out for the incident, he says, Fran, there is a time for play , but this is not the time. Fran says, I am sorry, Honey, I did not know your ex inlaws would be there. Max tells her, I had just told you, you knew. There had better not be any more embarrrassing antics from you while they are here. Fran says, honey, sweetie, why would I do anything to embarrass you, I love the kids, and they are their grandparents. Max says, well ensure you don't do anything more to alienate me in front of them, or I will show you what happens to naughty wives. They both get ready, and head downstairs. Fran wears a sensouous black dress. Fran is angry with Max for his reaming her out. She is also wondering what did he mean by his last remark. Dinner goes well, but Sara's parents still do not like Fran. Fran lets it slip she wants to adopt the kids. It causes a big ruckus, and Sara's parents leave in protest, but agrees to talk with Max the next day. Max chases Fran upstairs, he is furious with her. She does not get far, as Max gets a hold of her and scolds her all the way to their room. Fran says, Max, keep your voice down, everyone is going to know. Max says, it does not matter if everyone knows, Fran, you are getting what you deserve, right now. He takes Fran unexpectedly over the bed and spanks her soundly. All the while reaming her out for spilling the beans about the adoption. When he is done, Fran changes for bed, and she is shocked to know her husband could be so gruff with her, and she feels she didn't deserve it. They try to sleep, but can't. They make up, then make love. The next day, Fran enlists Val's help in a plan. She tells Fran what happened, and Val is shocked as well. Val says, Fran, if your plan does not work, won't Max be furious? Ofcourse he will, Val, but do your part, and I think this plan will work. Fran decides to go with Val to the Hotel where Sara's parents are staying. They go to their room, but noone is in, so they go down to the lobby. The lobby has a big water fountain and statue inside of it. Fran spots Sara's mother, and runs to meet her, but she trips and knocks the poor woman into the fountain. Despite her apologies, Fran knows she is in deep now, and she can't do anything except wait for Max to find it all out. Val and Fran head home, and when they get there, Max is already waiting for Fran at the door. Fran tries to explain, she thinks Max already knows, but he hadn't been told yet, and was worried about Fran. Fran almost spills too much, but realizes, she is safe, for now, and goes upstairs to change. She knows she better tell Max before anyone else does. She is trying to figure out how she will tell him, when in walks CC with the news. Maxwell, you are not going to believe this, but your wife, Fran begins to run, but Max holds onto her, CC continues, knocked your mother in law into the fountain at the hotel! Max looks at Fran, and Fran said, Honey, wait, there is an explanation. The phone rings, and it is his inlaws. He allows Fran to sit down, but he won't allow her to run, while he gets the details. When he hangs up the phone, he says, Let me guess, you wnated to smooth things over, but somehow things went awry, and my mother in law went into the fountain. Fran says, well, you're good, it is exactly what happened. CC calls Max over to her to discuss something, and Fran uses the time to try and make it to somewhere to hide. Max sees her in the corner of his eye, and says, Freeze, she does. He grabs a hold of her again, and clears out the house to have time to deal with Fran. He brings her to his office this time. They argue for a while, then he spanks her again, this time, firmer than last. He tells Fran after, you are going to stay away from my in laws, ex inlaws, well, you know what I mean, until things get right with them, am I clear? Fran says, crystal, honey, as she can't sit for the pain. The next day, Max convinces Sara's parents it was all some bad things, but Fran is a loving mother and wife, and to please understand. They do, and all is forgiven. the end

Maxwell brings Fran back home after finding her at Roger Clinton's house. Before they go in the house, Maxwell shares a kiss with Fran. He makes no promises, but says, Fran, I can't live without you, and the children are so fond of you. Fran says, I am staying, but I did give you a scare, didn't I? Maxwell says, Yes, you did, and please don't ever leave us again. Fran and Max go to bed, but neither can sleep. They both toss and turn in their beds. It is 2 am. and Fran decides to go down for a snack.Maxwell has the same idea. Fran is wearing a negligee, and she thought she would be the only one awake.Max sees her, and she doesn't see him. Fran turns and sees Max, but it makes her drop her snack. He is wearing satin pajamas. They embrace, and kiss. They almost make love, but decide it is not the right time. They spend the night in each other's arms on the sofa, while watching tv. The next morning, they wake up and scurry upstairs to get ready for breakfast and the days events. Both, with a smile on their face.

Max was going out on a business trip, he left instructions for everyone, no parties for anyone, as he looks at Maggie and Fran.Understand? he warned. If there are any parties, and I find out, someone gets punished, Max refirmed. Everyone says, ok Dad, Mr. Sheffield, Sir, Niles replied.Max left, and Fran and Maggie begins planning for a party. "I don't know, said Maggie, Dad just said no parties." Fran said, honey, your father won't be back for 3 days, we can party, and have the place cleaned , before he returns. " Besides, she continued, we are only in trouble if he knows, he won't know." Maggie smiled, oh yeah! "Niles says, I will go along with this, it just so happens I am in the partying mood, but help clean up, would you? Fran and Maggie promised to do so. The party was on, and loud as well. The guests were Maggie's friends, and Val, and Niles brought a few guests. The party is in full swing, when in walks Maxwell, he had forgotten some important files he had to have for his trip. "What's this?" I said no parties!" "Ms. Fine?" You have two minutes to explain, and it had better be good!" She says, "you were supposed to be gone, how could you come back like this?" Max says," oh no, do not focus on me, answer my question,now!" Fran says, well, Maggie and Niles wanted a party, and we planned it, stop, says Max, "who are left in charge of the children?, Fran replies, me? Max says, yes, you, Ms. Fine." You defied my order for no parties." I told all of you, punishment is now going to be rendered." Niles, you are not getting the bonus I promised you", ok sir, fair is fair. Niles walks off sadly. Maggie, you are grounded for two weeks, young lady, Max says, Now, go to your room." Ms. Fine! Yes Mr.Sheffield, she answers. " your punishment awaits you in my office, right now." He points for her to go in the office. " Go in there, and wait for me." he says sternly. Max gets everyone to leave, including Val. He walks into his office. Fran all the while, pictured what was going to possibly happen, and she was nervous. "Ms. Fine, you deliberately and willfully broke the rules. I am going to spank you until you know I mean business." Fran says, " ,You can't spank me, I am your nanny" , Max says, I can and will, and you have it coming." He places Fran over his knee, and begins, each swat stung, and Ms. Fine knew Max meant it. Everytime you try and get away, I am giving you more." He gives her ten more, and allows her to leave. Not before he tells her to remain in her room for the evening, to ponder what she did. Fran whimpers on to her room. When she gets there, she plops down on her bed and sobs for a while. She is relieved Max was done, and her bottom was still warm after two hours. the show ends.

Fran's blunder, accidently sending Yetta's Letters to Andrew Lloyd Webber, causes Max to be angry with her. He tells Fran, " I want those letters back" and Fran says," but Honey, you said you were not interested in them". Max says, "don't remind me", so he lets Fran off the hook, but says, talk to Yetta and see if she will give me the rights to her letters." , Fran agrees, and talks to Yetta. Yetta forgets so often, Fran had to go over it all again with her. She gets Yetta to agree, but Sylvia has to have final say, she has power of attorney over Yetta. Before they can get Sylvia's approval, Andrew Lloyd Webber had already had a jump start on Max, he obtained the rights from Sylvia earlier. Max was out millions, once again. Fran is upset, but glad Max won't be angry with her, because she was doing what he had asked. When she gets home, Max tells her, " Fran, why didn't you return Sylvia's calls?", she replies, oh, I was talking to Yetta, like you asked me to." Max says," well Sylvia is the one with Yetta's power of attorney, she told me you knew this, Fran." Fran says, oy,I did know, you know, sweety, pregnancy can make women forget to," trying to get out of trouble, Max is not buying it, he says, Andrew Lloyd Webber has the rights now!" he contiues, and it is your fault!" Fran says, oy, but honey, remember, I am the mother of twins, and I can't run as fast anymore." Max grabs her, and says, "don't worry. darling, I 'll remember your condition, but it isn't your tummy you need to worry about!" the show ends with Fran and Max going upstairs, and Fran knows she is in trouble again.

"Ms. Fine!", a familiar voice shouts out. Fran comes running into the kitchen, "Niles, hide me, Mr. Sheffield is after me because I embarrassed him in front of one of his playrights!" Niles giggles, and says, " Oh, Ms. Fine, aren't you always in trouble with the boss?" "Niles, stop kidding around, he is going to kill me!" Fran said. Max comes in the kitchen, " Ms. Fine, over here, now!", pointing his finger. Fran says, "Mr. Sheffield, how was I supposed to know your playright would have no since of humor?" Max says, " I asked you to go about your day, and yet you stayed and had to smooze, didn't you?", "Oh, I am sorry, but sometimes your business people can be so stuffy." "Ms. Fine, that is beside the point, go sit in my office, I will finish this when I get there." She goes, but not before pushing him a little further by saying " but you can't make me!", he begins to chase her, but she runs into the office, shuts the door. Niles says," Sir, don't be too hard on her, she is impulsive, but she is a friend." "Niles, don't try and defend her, she is going to learn proper respect for her employer." Max comes into the office, Fran is sitting on the sofa, biting her nails. "Ms. Fine, you have been working here four years, and how often are you in trouble with me?" Fran says, Is this a trick question?" "Ms. Fine!", I am losing patience with you!" Naughty nannies are reprimended, and I will never fire you, but you must learn not to do the things I ask you not to do." "We have a special bond, don't you think, Ms. Fine? " yes, MR. Sheffield." "Remember when you had the party without my permission, and in court, I told you you had to pay the fine out of your pay?" Fran says," yes, I do remember." Max says," you told me then, why don't I just put you over my knee." "Yes, Mrs. Sheffield, but I was joking, I mean, you grounded me, how silly." Ms. Fine, when children misbehave, taking privledges away , or spanking is appropriate, so the same can apply to caring relationships such as ours." "Mr. Sheffield, what do you mean, what are you saying?" Fran says with a swallow. "Ms. Fine, I am saying I am taking you over my knee when you misbehave." Fran says," You wouldn't dare do this to me." with uncertain tones in her voice. "I think it would make things clear with you, Ms. Fine, and we trust one another, we are not only employer and employee, we are good friends to." says Max. " This is not a discussion of perhaps, this is real, you need it, and I will give it if you misbehave anymore." He says with a look of stern yet warning look. Fran says, " well, what makes you so sure, Mr?" and she begins to walk away, but Max takes her and draws her into a kiss. "This is why." Fran is weak in the knees, and she says, " May I go now?", Max says, "no not yet", first I am giving you a warning". "If you do anything more to upset me, you will get something to remind you not to." Fran says," Mr. Sheffield, you are such a turn on when you are speaking with such authority." He says, I mean it Ms. Fine, if you test me, you will find out". "For now, go to your room, no leaving this house for two days." Fran says, Mr. Sheffield, I was going to the movies with Val tonight." "You must cancel then, you are not going." Max said. "What if I don't", Fran says. Max chases her, she runs into her room and locks the door. She calls Val, and tells her, " oy Val, I can't go to the movies with you tonight, I am grounded." Val laughs, Fran, I thought you said you were grounded,", "I did, Val, I am grounded." "for two days", she added. Val says, "How can you be grounded, you are all grown up, and you don't live with your parents."" Trust me , Val, Mr. Sheffield is angry with me, and grounded me, and if I go against him, get this, he says he will spank me," she laughs. "Fran, are you going to let him treat you this way?" ".Val, I am patronizing him, it is a game we play, new, exciting and fun." It will be fun to see who caves first." " I don't think he would really do it, he is having fun toying with the idea." " Val, hey, why don't we test him and see." Val says, How, Fran, and are you sure you want to?" Fran says," Yes, I am sure, Let's go anyway, to the movies." "I can sneak out, I am a pro at it." Val laughs, ok, Fran, but don't get caught." they hang up. Fran gets ready, she has her miniskirt and blazer on she just bought at Bloomingdale's. A knock on her door, it is Mr. Sheffield, he says, Fran, are you decent?" Fran throws on her robe, and says,"just a minute." Then she answers the door, and she pretends to pout from earlier. She says, You are not still angry are you?" Max says,"No, but aren't you coming to dinner?" she says, "you sent me to my room, rather chased me here actually," "Well, you may come down to eat." Fran says," I will have Niles bring me a tray." " I should stay in here, and think things thru, my actions today." Max asked, "Did you cancel your movie date?" Oh, I did, Mr.Sheffield." He says, good, if you change your mind, you can join us in the dining room." She says, " thank you, Mr. Sheffield, but I am staying here." He says, ok, see you in the morning, then." She says,"ok, goodnight". Niles brings her a tray, and he already figures her out, he says," You are going out tonight, aren't you?" "Shh. don't let Mr. Sheffield here you."" What gave me away?" she says."You have the look on your face, and you can't hide it from me." he grins. "Niles, cover for me, if he asks, ok?" Niles says, "What are friends for?", they hug, and Fran says, "thanks, Niles." It is then time for Fran to meet Val, so she sneaks down the stairs, she almost gets to the door, when a light comes on, "Ms. Fine!" the familiar voice again, "Just what do you think you are doing?, he asks. "Uh, I thought I heard someone at the door, and didn't want Niles disturbed, false alarm, I am going back to my room, like a good nanny." Fortunately, she still wore her robe, in case she ran into Max. Max says, "Good, see you in the morning." She wipes her brow as he turns and goes back to bed, "too close," she sneaks out, Val and she have a great time at the movies, but Fran is feeling a little guilty for duping her boss. She gets back home at midnight. goes to bed, and she thinks all is well. She contemplates telling Max what she did, but goes to sleep, as she was tired. The next morning, she comes down to breakfast as usual, and says, "Good morning all!" Everyone says good morning. Max says, "Ms. Fine, did you sleep well?", "Oh like a baby, "she says. "Am I still grounded?" :"No, Miss Fine, it was a test to see if you could do as I asked." The phone rings, and it is Val, Val almost spills the beans to Max, but Fran gets the phone, "Oh thanks, Val, we will do it another time, ok, bye." She is glad she covered it. Max says," what did she want?" "Oh, you know Val, she can talk your ear off." The doorbell rings, Sylvia comes in, and before Frash can shush her, she says, "Fran, what is the matter with you, Val said you left your expensive earings in her car last night." "Ma, you know I didn't go anywhere last night with Val." Sylvia hands her the earings. " But darling, you went to the movies with her, you wore the new skirt and blazer you bought, remember?" "Ma, you must be confused, I cancelled my date with Val, " she winks, hoping her mother would go along. It is too late, Max knows, and is furious. He clears the room, except for Fran. Sylvia hugs Fran and says,"Call me" Fran says, "Yeah Ma, I will call but I am in trouble now, thank you." Sylvia leaves the house, and Fran turns around from walking her out, and bumps into Max. "oh, Mr. Sheffield, I think I will go back up to my room", he interupts her, " MS. Fine, do you remember what we talked about yesterday?" She is backing up, falls into a chair, " Yes sir, I do." she says, shakingly. " I have been a bad nanny again?" He says, "yes, as if you have to guess, in my office now!" she tries to get away, but he has her over his shoulder, and brings her into the office. He gives her the spanking he promised, and the next day, Fran is sitting on a pillow. She is talking to her mother on the phone, " Yeah, Ma, I am alright, but let's just say sitting is a challenge right now." "Tell Val I cannot see her for the next two weeks, and I will not sneak out with her," she looks down at the pillow, and says"oy, the things I get myself into". the show ends.

The scene takes up from when Max puts Fran over his shoulder to bring her into the kitchen for a word with her. Max says,"What on earth has gotten into you, Ms. Fine?" "It had better be good,." he added. "Well" Fran says, "I am looking out for your health, someone needs to." Max says, "What in the devil do you mean, I am fine." Fran says, "Wasn't the special diet for you, I saw on the counter?" "No, it was for Emerson." Max says, in a strong tone. Fran laughs, oh, for Emerson, and here I have been giving him all the fats," but Max was not amused. "Ms. Fine, you had better hope Emerson will be alright after this," or else. he added. Fran says," Oy, me to." "Mr. Sheffield," It was a misunderstanding, I am sure, she is interupted by CC screaming, ""get an ambulance, it's Emerson!" Max says, " I will deal with you later, Ms. Fine!" Fran says, "Oy, I hope it isn't serious." They all rush to the hospital. The doctors tell them Emerson will be ok, but why was he off his diet? Max looks at Fran, "this woman is my nanny, and she thought the special diet was for me, and passed all the fats to Emerson." The doctors keep Emerson over for the night. Fran and Max get back home, and he reams Fran out for the whole thing, he says,"Ms. Fine, we can't have you blundering things up because of misunderstandings." " You bloody well hope Emerson does not sue me over this, and he will still invest in my play." " Fran says,"Mr. Sheffield, I am sorry for the misunderstanding, I will make sure I get all the facts from now on." About the same time, the phone rings, it is Emerson's attorneys, they want an explanation. Max tells Fran to wait for him in his office while he takes the call. Fran is worried, and paces back and forth, she is talking to herself, "Oh why did I have to make this huge mistake?" After what seemed thirty minutes to Fran, was really about ten, Max comes into the office. "Ms. Fine, the attorneys are letting me off the hook this time, but Emerson may not invest in my play now." "You may have cost me millions, again." If it turns out like this, you will pay for it." "How, Fran asks?" "It is too painful for you to think about," he says, "for now, see to the children, and stay around here, I am keeping you updated."

We left off in part one where Emerson is in the hospital, but will be ok. Max is furious with Fran for her blunder in giving all the unhealthy foods to Emerson, which caused his scare with his health. Max just got a call, which says Emerson's attorneys will not sue, but now Emerson may pull out as an investor for Max's play. Max says," Ms. Fine, you had better hope Emerson still invests with me, or you will regret it." and he leaves to make more calls. Fran says, "Gee, you make one little blunder, and he bites your head off." She goes on with her day, avoiding Max as best she can. The same night, at dinner, conversation is light, Fran tries to avoid making eye contact with Max, she is feeling uncomfortable due to his prior conversation. The kids sense the tension in the room, they tiptoe in conversation as well. The children finish and ask to be excused, they leave the room. Max says," Ms. Fine, I am sorry for being so firm with you earlier, but I can't afford to lose out on this deal." He continues," You are always doing such sill childlike things, and I care for you deeply, why else would you get away with what you do?" Fran is silent for once. Max continues," you are always making it hard for me to say no, and you even get Niles involved in your child like games, sometimes this house is a circus." "I love this about you, but you cannot cause me to lose out on business deals." However, I can see how you would come to conclusion I was dying. I talked with you about my will, then you see the special diet instructions." I forgive you, this once." "Please get all your facts from now on, tho, would you?" Fran says, " It means so much you have forgiven me, I am sorry, Mr. Sheffield, I will get all my facts from now on." They embrace for a hug.The next day, Emerson is released from the hospital. Max hasn't told Fran he has a meeting with him to smooze things over. He wants her out of the house so he can have the meeting successfully. He asks Fran to go shopping and get anything she wants as his apology for the day before. She is happy, and off she goes. She goes to Loeman's, and of all people she bumps into, it is Emerson. She looks up and says,"Oh, Mr. Emerson, I am sorry for bumping into you, and I am sorry for giving you food you weren't supposed to have." Emerson smiles, and says, "Young lady, it is all good, you gave me food I haven't eaten in so long, and I enjoyed it, but I could have stopped at anytime. It is my mistake as much as anyone's." She hugs him, and says," does this mean you will still invest in Mr.Sheffield's play?" Emerson says," Rest assured, I will." Max is good at what he does, and he has my backing." He leaves, and Fran has a big smile on her face, " I get to shop, and Max gets his backing, he will be so proud of me." She goes home after her shopping. The meeting is taking place when she arrives. Max is smiling, Emerson is smiling, and Fran is smiling. The meeting closes, Emerson leaves, and Max says," Thank you, Ms.Fine, you impressed Emerson."" He is backing my play, and I owe it to you." They share a kiss. the show ends.

Max and CC are discussing their most latest production. Max says, "Well, CC, it looks as if I may get one over Andrew Lloyd Webber this time." CC replies, "Maxwell, yes, it appears so." "You haven't told nanny Fine have you?" "No, I haven't, CC, but she will not be a problem." Max says, assuredly.CC replies, "Maxwell, how can you be sure, remember the last time?" Max thinks a moment, "Oh, yes, but Ms.Fine was severely reprimanded, and she won't dare be a problem this time." he smirks. "Maxwell, what did you do exactly to her after the last fiasco?" Max grins,"only what a naughty nanny deserves, CC, only what she deserved."he smirks again. "Maxwell, you are making me use my imagination on this?", she is smiling, Max says, "Yes". "Let's just say. Ms.Fine knew I meant business." "She knows what will happen should she become too metalsom.""As you know, CC, a written reprimend does not work in Ms. Fine's case, hands on works much better." "Maxwell, you dog, you." "You mean you," "oh, this is too good." she laughs. "Indeed", Max says. "The only way to settle the child in her", he says with a grin. Unbeinknown to Max and CC, Fran and Niles were listening on the intercom. Fran was horrified they were making jokes about the day she would rather forget. She whispers," Niles , he is so mean to tell her about this." He forgets to whisper, You mean he spanked your,Fran puts her hand on Niles mouth, "shhhh" , don't be a meshookna," she says, whispering. "it was once when I really made him angry with me, and it was to fo no further than between he and I." "Niles!" Max calls out. Max heard Niles that time, he calls him into the office. "What have I told you about snooping, and or eavesdropping?" "But, Ms. Fine and I", "Oooh, don't dare bring Ms. Fine into this, Niles."But she was, "Niles!" "Ms Fine has nothing to do with this, you alone old man." " I'm sorry.sir," but how is one to know what is going on then?" Max says, You don't need to know some things, Niles, now, do I have to unplug the sound equipment again?" " No, sir, don't do that, " I will control myself, sir. "Niles said. Fran overheard it all, her mouth open, and this is all Niles gets?" "well." she scuffs off. She begins to go to the staircase, when she hears, "Ms.Fine!" Max comes into the living room, he asks, "Did you do all the requests I made of you today?" Fran says," I believe I did, Mr. Sheffield," "excuse me, I want to go up to my room." she said. Max says, "Not so fast, why are you being hasty with me?" " What? " she says, in her famous whine. "I;m not being anything, I want to go up to my room." "Did you deliver the papers I entrusted you with, and did you pick up my dry cleaning, and," she stops him, "Yes, yes, I did all of it, now let me go, please." He says, "Very well, you may go." He watches her as she goes up the stairs. "Niles," what is the matter with Ms. Fine?" 'Well, sir, I was trying to tell you before, she was eavesdropping with me at the intercom, she overheard what you said to Ms.Babcock. " "Oh, dear, this poses a problem." He said, worried. " I am going up to see her." Niles says, "Sir, it may be a good idea to let her come to you." She wants to be a lone right now, she feels you made fun of a moment which was between you and her." Max says,"I suppose you are right old man," still, I can't have her eavesdropping either." The next morning, Fran is quiet and pouty. Max says, "Ms. Fine, please tell me what is troubling you." Mr. Sheffield, you told a private matter to Ms. Babcock, am I a joke to you?" "No, Ms. Fine, not at all, I am sorry. You should not have been eavesdropping, and you would not be sad right now." Fran says," Oh, so it is my fualt? "Well".She storms out into the living room. Max follows her, he says, " Now Ms. Fine, there is no need to act childish, now is there?" Fran is furious. "Childish!" "No, I wouldn't want you to spank me again!" Max kind of chuckles, "Ms. Fine, now you know you needed it, I simply gave it to you." "Well, I am glad to see you think it is amusing." "Why did you tell CC?", she asked, with her hands on her hips. " Ms. Fine, she figured it out on her own, again, evesdropping will get you into trouble. " "When I am in my office, in a private meeting, I will say what I bloody want to, and you will not eavesdrop, understand?" "No, I don't, why would you tell such a private thing?" "Ms. Fine, you need to see this from my end." "I am sorry if you are upset, but I had better not catch you eavesdropping again, and lose the tone with me, or we may revisit that day." Fran is not amused, but she smirks, "Oh yeah?" She sticks her tongue out at him, and runs up the stairs. Max pursues her, but she outruns him, she makes it to her room, locks the door. Max says, "You can't stay in there for long, and I will be waiting." Fran says, Oh, yada yada, what else is new? Max says, Ms. Fine, sarcasm will not win you any points with me." He goes back down stairs a little flustered. CC comes in, "Maxwell, what is all the comotion?" Max says, It is Ms. Fine, she is flirtng with a visit to that day I told you about." "Oh, CC said with a grin." "Maxwell, has anyone told you how you look so handsome when you are gruff?" "CC, Max said, It has been a long morning, go home and come back tonight for supper." "Ok, Max, she says. Niles says, "Oh, Ms. Babcock, gruffiness turns you on?" they growl at each other, and she leaves. Fran sneaks downstairs, hoping not to run into Max. "Niles, she says, Is he around?"before Niles could answer, Max comes in, "Yes, he is around, and still angry with a certain nanny." Fran hides behind Niles, and says, "Ditto, Mister." "Only I am still angry at a certain Englishman, who happens to be my boss, "she softens. He motions for her to come to him. She shakes her head no. He motions with a finger,pointing, he says, "over here right now, Ms. Fine!" She says,"No!" contiuing to hide behind Niles. "Niles,move away from Ms. Fine." "Sir, she is glued to me." Max says, Ms. Fine, don't make me come over there!" "Oh. alright, already, " and goes over to him. He takes her by the hand, and leads her into his office. She is trying to get away, but he won't let her. Niles listens at the door. Max places Fran over his knee, and almost swats her, when she talks him out of it, promising to behave herself. "Ms. Fine, why should you get another chance?" You have tested me today, and you know it." he still is holding her across his lap. Fran says,"because you love me, and you know I need another chance." Max says, "Ok, one chance, but don't blow it" this is your only chance." he says, firmly. He playfully smacks her a couple of times, to let her know it could have been the real thing. Blushing, she thinks to herself, " What a close call, and I am glad I wore my longer skirt today." She gives Max a hug, and they even kiss, and he says, now go on and get ready for supper." 'I am having an important guest over, and you be on your best behavior, Ms. Fine." Fran promises, and she leaves to get ready. The guest came, it was an old business partner, Ned Stuart,whom Max had always been good pals with. They go into the office, and talk. CC joins them. Niles is remembering not to eavesdrop, but Fran decides to go to the intercom. Niles sneaks up behind her, and scares her, she thought it was Max, forgetting to whisper, she uses her classic laugh, and says, Oh Niles, I thought you were Max!"oops, this time, Niles has his hand on her mouth. Max says," excuse me, Ned, I have to go deal with a nosy butler and nanny." Fran and Niles hear him, they run, Max says"freeze, both of you!" "Take one more step to defy me, and I'll." they both freeze as told."Niles, you are not getting the bonus you were promise, and the intercom is unplugged!" "You are excused.old man." he says. Niles hangs his head in dismay, walks off. "Niles, finish supper, and make it snappy!" "Yes, sir," he says , and he does just that. Max turns his attention to Fran.", Ms. Fine!""What did we discuss earlier ?" Fran says," best behavior." "and what else?"Max says, "no eavesdropping.", she says. "I just now caught you eavesdropping, and now instead of my meeting, I am out here with you dealing with your nautiness." now more angrily he says. Fran tries to slip away, "I said, freeze!" She stops, turns and smiles her troubled grin. " Come here," he says, Fran dares not to say no to Max again. She moves close to him. He brings her to his office, clears out everyone else, and says," supper is almost ready to be served," CC and Ned go to the dining room. Max tells Fran," I was gracious to give you a chance, but this time, you are getting what you deserve." Fran braces for what is coming, as the first smack comes down, "Ouch!" she says, Max gives her several more, and is not moved by her pleas to stop. Fran tries to get away, and max tightens his grip on her. Which then earns her a few more for moving. He then tells her to go freshen up and come to supper. He says, " No word of this to anyone, come to the table and watch your demeanor!" She leaves, rubbing her sore bottom, she fixes her makeup, and goes to dine. She sits on a pillow she saved from getting her tatoo removed. Everyone at the table tries to not notice. It was hard for them not to know, they could hear the smacks. Fortunately, the children were all out at the movies. Fran eats, and is quiet. Max keeps a weary eye on her. Ned asks Fran, "so, you are the nanny?" Nice to meet you." I am Ned. " Fran says, "likewise, "and contiues eating. CC says, Nanny Fine, how was your day," choking back a laugh, " I hear today has been a pain in the butt for you." by then, laughing loudly. Fran smiles, and says, "Well, it is better to have a pain in the butt, than no life at all." CC shutsup, Niles is heard laughing in the background, Max says," enough you two. Then everyone begins to laugh. the show ends.

"Maxwell," Fran whined," My nightie is messed up, and wet, and I hate it here, I wanna be rescued!" she whined for the upteenth time. Max says, "Honey, we are alive, and together, we have each other, and you are complaining." "Why?" "They will find us, don't worry your pretty head about it." "Now, go fetch some fire wood, and calm yourself." He said, while trying to not lose his patience with her. "Fetch the fire wood, are you serious?" Fran goes mumbling off to herself, " I'm no dog, I don't fetch anything, " she mumbles, thinking Max doesn't hear her. "Darling, what was that you were mumbling?" "Oh, nothing, honey." Fran says. She mumbles again. "Fran, stop mumbling, we may be the only two here on the island, but you can atleast talk to me, loud and clear." Fran whines, "but I wanna go home." she begins crying. Max comforts her, but is angered about her whining and mumbling all of the time. "Sweetheart, please, we must both keep our spirits up, and our wits about us, so we can focus getting out of here and back home. " Fran whines again, and Max, being fed up, says," Alright, that is it!" "stop it, and stop it now!" " We will get off this island, but you listen to me, and if you won't, I am going to have to find a way to get you focused." Fran says, "What?" "How do you intend to do that?" She smiles a little. "Come hear, and let me show you." Max said. They kiss passionately., and almost make love, but Max realizes they need the fire wood for the fire, it was getting dark soon. "Fran, Honey, go get the firewood, and we will continue this later." She stomps off, and gets the fire wood, but she wonders too far off, and she isn't sure which way it was back to Max. She is getting cold, and she starts crying, and calling for Max. Her voice carries, so soon, Max finds her, and brings her back to camp. He had to carry her, she was cold, trembling, and weak from her ordeal. She is fast asleep, so he lets her sleep, and warms her as best he can. "I guess our lovemaking must wait one more night." He smiles, as he sees his bride, how beautiful she is asleep. He recalls their 5 years together, the times he was angry with her, the times she made him feel alive, the romance, the love like no other, the way she could make him feel, tho they had never been intimate, it was about to change. "Would Fran and he be able to live up to the expectation they have both dreamed of for so long?", Max wondered. Fran wakes up, and says, "There you are, my adorable husband, come and take me, all of me." she says, smiling. They kiss, and prepare to make love. Looking at each other, taking it all in, as they disrobed. Max says, " All those skimpy outfits, and sitting on my desk, inticing me, I wanted to ravage you, even then, but I never acted on those impulses, somehow, it didn't seem the right time, but now, my darling, it is." he said, gazing into her eyes. "They make love, all night long, as the fire crackled behind them. The fit together well, their moans let them know how good it was to really be one. Morning comes, and they are asleep. Fran shudders, in the morning chill. "Max," Fran says, it's morning, and I am cold, the fire is gone out." Max wakes up, and says" Ok, darling, I will start the fire, and then come back to my bride for another fire between the two of us." Fran smiles, "Ok, honey, hurry back." she says. Max starts the fire, and they were preparing to make love again, when they hear a helicopter approaching. They scurry for their clothes. CC and Sylvia has come to their rescue, and the two are headed home, but they were both wishing for atleast one more day together. "Oh well, "they both thought, we are going home, we are rescued, and we have each other. the end.

"Max," Fran says," Come and watch tv with me,Lucy is on." Max says, "Fran, why must you watch such dribble?" he laughed. "Max, it isn't dribble, Lucille Ball is my idle, and tonight, is my favorite episode of "I Love Lucy." "Alright, darling, if it will make you happy, I will give it a go." he said, smugly. Teasing, Frans says,"See, it didn't take Ricky long to propose to Lucy." To get her back for the remark, Max says,"Yes, but you and she give Ricky and I the same amount of trouble, only you have Val, and she has Ethel." he laughs. Fran says, "Smarty pants." "Shhh, it is coming on." she said. "Oh, it is the one where Lucy wanted Ricky to let her have a bigger apartment, only he says no on a ccount of not being able to afford it." "Lucy somes up with this plan, see, she gets toys, and says she can't put them away, no room, to get Ricky to see they need a bigger place." "Max says, "oh, I see where you get the ideas from." Fran hits him, "Oh, Max." "shhh, it is back on." "Here comes the most funny part", Ricky slides down the slide to get in, is this funny or what?" "Look, he tells her to take the toys back, she says no, and he gets her dizzy on the merry go round, and when she stands up to get her balance, he puts her over his knee, and O my god, he spanked her!" "Some nerve!" Max says, "You had to see that one coming, haven't you seen this show before?" Fran says, well, yeah, but it makes me feel for her, she must have been surprised." Max laughs, If you manipulated me like that, I would do the same to you." He laughs. "In fact, remember when the times I chased you for causing me to lose millions?" "Remember what I did the times I caught you?" Max asked. "Oh, don't go there, Mister, anyway, it was a long time ago, and since we have been married, you haven't done that to me." "Would you?" she asked. "Given circumstances, if it were fitting, yes, I would, and even more so, you are my wife, and I can have more of a right to do it if needed." Fran says," Oh, you would, huh?" "Oy, I remember when I misplaced Liz Taylor's pearls, you spanked me so hard I could not sit comfortable for atleast a week." she said, as she remembered. "But, honey, I have not been an angel since we have married." "Well, Fran, I have been sparing you thus far, but I think we can revisit it should you anger me to do so." Fran says, "I bet you, you won't do it, no matter how angry you get at me." Max says, " Alright, what is the wager?" "I bet you breakfast in bed for a week, should you lose." Max says, "Alright, I bet you, when I win, you cannot leave the house for one week." They both agree. The next day, Fran tries real hard to make Max lose his temper. She is sassy, prankful, doing things to him which makes him annoyed, but he grins, and says," Nope, honey, I know what you are trying to do, and it won't work." Three more days pass, each day, Fran has done things she was sure he would lose the bet over, to no avail. on the sixth day of the bet, Fran pretends to spill something on one of Max's best suits, while he is wearing it, gets caught in a lie, on purpose, allows the children to run amuck, and nothing was working.She said," I just can't lose this bet, I will have to stay home for a week, and I can't do that.""wait, if I he loses, it means a spanking for me, I don't want that!" "Great, all I have to do is nothing, and max loses, just 12 hours to go." "Peice of cake." She says. "Oh, nuts, but if he wins, I must stay home for a week." "I know, I will let him think he won, and sneak out when I want to go out. " she thought, sneakedly. The next day, she pretends to lose the bet, and Max says,"Alright, Fran, you can't go out of this house for a whole week." "Alright, fair is fair, I will stay home." she says. It was two days into the week Fran was to stay home, when Fran wanted to go out, she didn't know how to hide it from Max. She goes into his office, and loves on him, and says, "Max, you are not really holding me to this bet are you?" Max kisses her. "You bet, Fran, and you lost, so you must stay home." "Max, I want to go somewhere, I am feeling the walls closing in." 'Max says, "Fran, You step out, and you are in trouble, and you won't like the consequences." Fran says, Don't worry, Max, I will see this through." she says, and with that, she leaves, but says, shucks, can't get him to budge." She waits til Max falls asleep., and goes out and meets Val for a late night nosh, " Val, I tell you, This bet was all wrong, and I thought I would win." Val says, "What if he catches you sneaking out, Fran?""Val, don't even say it, I am not sure, but he said I would have consequences." "He is fast asleep, I will get away with this.". she laughs. She goes home, it is one am. She sneaks into bed, proud she got away with sneaking out, she reaches for Max, she only feels pillows. A light comes on. Max is standing there, hands folded, looking sternly at Fran,She acts like she has been sleeping,"Honey, why did you turn on the light?" Max says, " Cut it out, Fran, Niles already told me you went out with Val." "Don't bother lying about it, you are in trouble with me." "Now, you are in trouble for lying and sneaking out." "But, how did Niles, but, " Max says, "Fran, the only but in this, is yours, you remember we talked about the spanking issue? "You have just earned one." Fran, looking innocent, tries to run for it, but she trips, and lands right into Max's arms. "Oy" Fran says, and max let's her have it, nice and slow, swatting her with a hairbrush, then his palm. Fran tries to apologize, and get Max to stop, but he keeps swatting her. A half an hour goes by, and Max finally stops. " "Have you learned your lesson, Fran" "Yes, Max, please, no more, I will behave." she begs. "Alright, Fran, but now you must stay home two weeks, beginning tomorrow, plus the remaining time on this week." "Yes, honey, can I go to sleep now?" rubbing her tush. Max says, "As long as you know and do what I have said." Fran falls asleep. The next day, Fran is still sore, very sore, so she uses her doughnut pillow. She is angry at Niles, for turning her in. She tells Niles, "Look at me, I have to use my doughnut today, thank you." Niles says, " Mrs. Sheffield, I am sorry, but when I tried to cover for you, he told me he would fire me." "Oh, Niles, he only told you that to get what he wanted, you know he won't fire you." Niles says," Please don't be angry at me, I didn't have a choice." 'Niles! You did, to." Fran says. Max says, "enough, you two, Fran, you got what you deserved, now drop it!" Fran says," I won't drop it." It isn't fair." Max reminds her he could give her another one, and to watch her tone with him. Fran says, "Oy, you make me angry to." She walks off into the living room. She forgets and sits without her pillow, "Ouch" she says. "Niles", get my, Niles comes in with her pillow. "Oh, thank you" she says. Max comes in, and says, "Fran, I won't take pity on you because you are sore." Fran says, " Don't talk to me, Max." Max says, "You are being a poor loser, and it is unbefitting for my wife to be this way, I will not tolerate it." Fran sticks her tongue out at him. Max picks her up over his shoulder, they head for the bedroom. Fran squirms and squirms, she can't get away. Max swats her to let her know she isn't going anywhere. "Ouch," she says. "Be still, right now." Max says.He repeats the spanking she had the night before, it was fourty five minutes instead of thirty minutes. He lets up finally, and allows her to return downstairs, when she is ready. "Ms. Fine!" , Max shouts, "Niles, have you seen her?" "Sir, she has sworn me to secrecy." "Niles, tell me where she is, and don't make me ask again." Max said. Niles knew when he uses that tone, he had better spill it. " But Sir, you know Ms. Fine and I are best friends." "Niles!" Max, now angry, says. "Oh, alright, but you are forving me to break confidence, and I simply can't." Max tricks Niles to look at something, he kicks Niles in the backside. " Now, tell me,old man." "Right this instant." Niles, says,", alright, Sir, Ms. Fine went to fix things with Frank Bradley for you, she knew if you knew it would be bad for her." Max hits the roof. "I swear, when I get my hands on her,Niles interupts, "Oh, Sir, she feels bad about what already occured, she wants to fix it for you, please don't be so hard on her." he said. Max says," She knows I would prefer her not to butt in on my business affairs, unless I ask her to." "Her heart may be in the right place, but her touchas is mine if she messes thew thing up." With that, Niles went on about his business. CC enters. Niles gives her a quick insult, and then says, "Tread lightly, he is furious." "He already kicked me in the seat of the pants." CC laughs, "Niles, If Maxwell did, you needed it," she laughs. Max fills CC in on the latest with Ms. Fine and her antics, and Frank Bradley. CC is also furious, "Max, this could be do or die on weather we get a good or bad report on our play." "Exactly," Max says. When Ms. Fine gets back, we will get to the bottom of this." "It had better be good." He says. Fran returns, she runs upstairs, tells Niles, "Don't give me away I am home, ok, Niles?" She didn't give Niles a chance to tell her the gig is up. Max comes in to the room, "Was that the front door, is Ms. Fine in? Niles hesitated, " Yes sir, she just ran into her room, she didn't want me to tell you." "Niles, I am your employer, and you bloody well had better remember it." Your first loyalty is to me, ol man."" Yes, Sir, Niles said. Max goes up to Fran's door. He brings Niles with him. "Niles", he whispers, you get her to open the door, and I will take it from there." "Oh, please, Sir, don't have me betray her further." "Niles, do it!" "Yes sir, he replies. Niles complies, Fran opens the door, "Niles!", Er, Mr.Sheffield!" Oy!" She tries closing the door, but Max comes in. "Ms. Fine, Haven't I asked you not to butt into my business affairs?" he said, Frans responds, "Oy, that Niles, why can't he keep a secret?" "Now, Mr. Sheffield, settle down, it is alright." Mr. Bradley will come to dinner, and he said he will consider my proposal." "He had better, Ms. Fine, or you will get what for," he says. "Mr. Sheffield, you don't need to get pushy with me , Mister." Max says, "If anything goes wrong, you are in for it with me," Fran says, "I did you a favor, you should be thanking me."'Max says, "Do you remember what happened the last time you did this?", Fran says," Yes I do, but it will be alright this time, and you won't need to resort to what you did last time." she says in an almost assured way, but she is having a flashback to using her doughnut pillow. Max leaves, and she is relieved, but then Max comes back, " This had better work, or it is your touchas." "Be on time for dinner, and let me do all the talking." Fran agrees. end of part one

As Fran was getting ready for this very important dinner, she was pondering what Max had told her. "Gee, I sure hope tonight goes well, for my sake and Mr. Sheffield's." "Oy, what to wear?" She says, as she looks into the closet. "I have to look great, and I can't do any talking?" "Who does Mr. Sheffield think he is, anyway?" She hears, "Your employer" coming from the hall, in her door way, Max was standing. "Ms. Fine, you had better take heed to my warning earlier." he said, sternly. "Is that what you are wearing tonight?" he asked. "Why, You like?" she asked. "No,I don't like it, choose something else, Ms. Fine." he said. "Oh, would you lighten up, Mr. sheffield." "First you tell me I can't talk,then you tell me what to wear." "Do you even know the sacrifices I will make tonight?"Max said, "Do you know what is at stake hear?" he asked, "Relax, already, I know, and if tonight goes as planned, you owe me, Mister." she says, confidentally. "If it doesn't, Ms. Fine, be prepared for my anger." He leaves, Fran rolls her eyes at the whole thing. She selects the appropriate attire, and refreshes her makeup, perfume, ect. She goes down stairs, as it is almost time for Frank to show up. The doorbell rings, Niles gets it. Frank isn't alone, he brings his son to. "Oy, Fran thought, how am I going to keep quiet now?" "Frank Jr. is so annoying, and he already hates me for hitting him with a baquette." "This could be trouble!" She thought. The meeting starts, and Frank Sr. is kind of cold, but enjoys dinner. Frank Jr. is pestering Fran under the table. Fran is trying to ignore him, but she is getting annoyed more and more. She tries to push him away, without anyone noticing. Frank Jr. screams,"She pushed me!" Fran says, " Well, he keeps pestering me under the table." "He isn't hurt." she says. Frank Sr. gets up from the table, gathers his son, and tells Max, "Maxwell, this is the exact behavior which caused the problem in the first place." Fran says,"Oh, good, you see it my way, then, your son is mean, and I hit him with the baquette, but it didn't hurt anything but his pride, maybe." Frank Sr. fumes, and says, Maxwell, I will not give you a good review, because you allow your help to be this rude." He leaves with his son, but not before Frank Jr kicks Fran in her shin and says," Now, what are you going to do?" Fran starts to go after him, but Max says, "Ms. Fine!" "Quite enough!" "But Mr. Sheffield, he kicked me in the shin!" "Max says, which is nothing, compared to what you are about to recieve." "But, Mr. Sheffield!" she screams, "Everything was fine, why did he have to bring his son?" She backs up, Max is in front of her, reaming her out. "In my office,Ms.Fine, right now!" She says, "Oy, this isn't good." Niles says, "Shall I retrieve your doughnut, Ms. Fine?" "Niles, thank you, guess I will need it." She starts to run, but Max catches her, "Not this time, Ms. Fine," "You are going to experience an unpleasant sensation, and you brought it on yourself!" he says to her. "Mr. Sheffield, I am not a child, you don't have to," he interupts, "No, Ms. Fine, I don't have to, but I am." In they go, and soon, her anguish begins, and CC is laughing, Niles is shaking his head, Max says, "CC, Niles, stop listening at the door!" They run off. Thirty minutes later, Fran and Max emmerse from his office. "Go to your room, Ms. Fine, and think about your actions." Fran responds, Mr. Sheffield, you are lucky I take this, most people don't have a relationship like ours." Niles says, "Your doughnut, Ms. Fine?" Fran says, Thanks Niles. She scurries up the stairs, and she looks at Max one more time. Niles says, Sir, you were awfully hard on her." "Maybe so, Niles, but she has to learn not to interfere in my business affairs." CC adds, " Now she will be busy nursing a sore behind instead of causing us problems we don't need." Max says, "True, but be a little more sensitive, CC, I don't like to treat Ms. Fine this way." Niles says, "MsBabcock, You should have it done to you, maybe it would soften you up a bit." She laughs it off, but snears. the show ends

"Niles, please hide me!" Fran says, as she ran through the kitchen.Before Niles could answer her, Max comes in, "Niles, is Ms. Fine in here?" "I can't say, Sir." but he points to the broom closet. He knew not to even try to help Fran, when He is always being threatened to lose his job. Max opens the broom closet, "There you are, Ms. Fine, come out of there." He helps her out. "Stool Pigeon!" she cries to Niles. "Sorry,Ms. Fine, but you know he signs my paychecks." Max says, "never mind that dribble, Ms. Fine, if I have told you once, it has been a hundred times, do not interefere in my business." He brings her into the office. Niles hears Max doing all the talking. Each time Ms. Fine tried to say something, he would not allow her to. Niles then hears, "If you are not going to listen, I will show you again, Ms. Fine." Niles thinks to himself, "It isn't pretty now." He braces for what he knows is next. Sure enough, he hears swatting, and Ms Fine saying, "No, stop,"to no avail. "I don't know how she withstands it, I guess she loves the man." Niles thought to himself. Twenty minutes pass, Niles hears, "Would you let me go, already?" Fran pleaded. Max says, "No, we are only beginning." Niles hears, "What is that?" Fran asked, "Max said, This, Ms. Fine, is something I bought when I went to London on a business trip not too long ago." "A Paddle?" Ms. Fine asked. "Oh no, you are not going to us that on me." she said. Niles hears running, then the door opens, "Ms. Fine!" You come back here!" She says, "No", You are not hitting me with a paddle." she runs, he is hot on her trail, "Well, if you would not challenge my authority so much, it wouldn't come to this." By now, he is close enough, he swats her once."Ouch!" Fran says, she tries to run, and her heel breaks, she falls backwards, and Max catches her. Fran pretends to have sprang her ankle, but max sees through it, "Oh, let me see." He says, it isn't sprang." "You are not off the hook, Ms. Fine." "Mr. Sheffield, if you had told me about the paddle, it may have made a difference." Max says," Don't try that, Ms. Fine." The element of surprise is also effective. She wants to run, but he scoops her up and carries her to the office. She knows better than to kick and squirm. She is angry. "Put me down", "I will, over the desk." The door closes. Niles says, "I have not seen this much excitement, ever." He feels for Ms. Fine. He hears, "Whack, Whack, Whack, Whack, Whack." "Ms. Fine, this is what happens to you when you undermine me, you are excused for now." Fran comes out, moping, rubbing her bottom, and ready to go anywhere. "Ms. Fine, Max says, Do not go anywhere, you may not leave this house tonight. She goes up to her room. Max tells Niles to come in the office. He does. "Niles, not a word to anyone, and I mean it!" "Sir, did you really think a paddle was necessary?" "Yes," Ms. Fine can be very trying on my patience, and I needed something to be more effective in her discipline." Max goes up to Fran's room. He listens at her door, hears her crying. "Ms. Fine, don't cry, cmon, answer the door." She does, " You don't have the paddle, do you?" She asks. "Noooo, I don't, it is in my office, where it will stay." He takes her in his arms, and says,"Now, will you behave, and we won't need to take this route?" "It is because I love you, and care for you, Ms. Fine, You need to believe this." "You don't punish the children this way, why me?" She asks. "I am planning to, the next time they are in trouble." "While I am here, Do not help Maggie sneak out anymore." Fran says, "How did you know?" He said, I only suspicioned, you just confirmed it." "Oy, she says. "Don't worry, it is only if I catch you, then you will need to worry." She says, "Mr.Sheffield, You are so cute when you are forceful." He says, never mind that, behave and you will be right with me." "I will" she says. Two weeks pass, and Fran stays out of trouble with Max. Maggie asks Fran, "So, are you helping me sneak out tonight?" Fran says, " I don't know, sweety, your father warned me not to." "You do know he has a paddle?" 'No", Maggie says. Well, take it from me, it hurts, and he said he would use it on you and me if we undermine him, Honey, he is not fooling around." "Daddy has never spanked any of us, he wouldn't." she said. Fran says, "Oh yes, he will, you need to believe it." "Fran, tonight is a concert I want to go to, you know he will say no if I ask him." Well, respect him when he says no, he is your father." "Fine, I hate you." she says as she storms out. She runs into Fran, Fran says, No, Maggie, you don't talk to your daddylike that, get back in there." Max says, "Ms. Fine,close the door." Fran does. "Maggie, you know, as your Father, I have responsibilities to teach you right from wrong." "Yes, Daddy, and you always have." Maggie says. "True, Maggie, but tonight, I am trying something new, and know I love you, lean over my desk." "Daddy, Fran told me about this, but i didn't believe her." "Please, don't do this." she asks. Fran hears, "Whack, pause, Whack, pause, Whack. "Now, go to your room and remain there, Maggie. She runs past Fran, into her room. The next morning, Maggie realizes she was wrong, she made up with her dad. Everyone was happy. the end

The chase was on, and Fran new Max was going to be furious. "What's wrong with me, why didn't I run when we first heard?" "Why did the kid double cross me like that?" All these thoughts raced through her mind, as Max gave chase all through the house. She ducked into Maggie's room, and locked the door. "Wow, that was close." Max says,"I know you are in there." "Maggie can't save you, Ms. Fine." Fran says," Oh, you are so smart, Mr. Sheffield," I never thought Maggie would save me, but I am not coming out, until you calm down." "Fran, Maggie says, " What are you going to do?" Max says,"Ms. Fine, I can always have Niles unscrew the door knob, and then get you." "Mr. Sheffield, when you are this angry, I don't want to be near you." "Please calm down." Max says, "I would have caught you, had you not cleverly put Grace in front of you." Fran laughs, "I know, but I had to get away." "Max says, "Ms. Fine, are you amused by this?" "No, Mr. Sheffield" she answers. "I distinctly heard you laugh." he said. "Maybe I did, but I am in here, and you're out there." She said in a brave voice. The door opens, all the while, Max had Niles work on it while talking to Fran. Fran has this surprised look on her face."Mr. Sheffield!" Max raises his sleeves, "Now, what were you saying, Ms. Fine?" "O.......y" "Come along, Ms. Fine, time to pay up for costing me millions, again." "Bye Fran," Maggie says, wishing she could help. Niles says, Sorry, Ms. Fine, he made me do it." Fran begs Max, "Mr. Sheffield, who knew the kid would double cross?" she said, trying to get away from him. "Ms. Fine, If you hadn't talked him into being a regular kid, he would not have been doing this."Max stops to tie his shoe. Fran decides it is her chance to run again. "Freeze:" Max says. She says, "No." Keeps running. She runs into Niles, falls down with him. "Niles, can't you see, I am making a run for it?" "Sorry, Ms. Fine." Max catches Fran again. "This time, you are not getting away, and he puts her over his shoulder. "Ms. Fine, You be still, or this will only be worse for you." He takes her down the back stairs and into his office. He puts her down, and says, "Sit down." "Now, when I say freeze, you had better freeze." Fran says," Mr. Sheffield, please don't be so angry with me." "Lean over my desk., Ms. Fine." She does, but not willingly. Ten whacks are heard, and then,"Ms. Fine, you may go now, but tend to the children and nothing else. She says, "Yes, Mr. Sheffield." and leaves his office. Fran uses her doughnut again," Oh why did I have to wear this thin pantsuit?" Brighton was teasing Fran, "So, Fran, Dad really gave it to you, huh?" Max comes in the room, hears Brighton saying that to Fran. "Brighton, don't tease Fran, it isn't nice. Fran says, "Yeah, Brighton, it isn't nice." She takes out her phone, and dials up Val. "Val, are we still going on our double date tonight? Max says, "No, Ms. Fine, you are staying here tonight, as part of your punishment, a week actually." Fran tells Val, " The olgre says I can't go," "Why, Fran?" Val asked. "He is angry with me for something." I am grounded, I suppose." she said, while she gives Max a look. "I have to go, Val, before I get into more trouble." "I'll call you when I can." she said. "Ms. Fine, hand it over." Max said. "Hand my phone over?" "I can't have my phone, either?" "What a slave driver." as she hands her phone to him. "Don't even think about sneaking out, I see those wheels turning." "Supper is at 7pm, be there." he says, and leaves to finish some work in his office." " Niles", can I use your phone? She asked. "Ms. Fine, do you want me to get fired?" "No," but I need a phone." she whines. "Alright", but don't get caught with it." he mutters. "Be my lookout, Niles, so we don't get caught." she said. He agrees. Fran calls Val back. "Can you believe it, Val?" I am grounded and lose my phone for a week!" "What else did he do, Fran?" "He spanked me, Val, and I am so in trouble with him." Val says, "Wow, Fran, guess we can't go out." "No, Val, we are going out tonight." "Don't risk it, Fran", it would be better to wait until this week is over." "Oh, Val, I just gotta see the movie we want to see." Pick me up at 8, ok?" Val said, sure, Fran, good luck." Fran gives Niles his phone back. Niles says, " So, not only did you defy Mr. Sheffield with the phone, you are going out?" "Niles, yes I am , and don't blow me out of the water." "He won't fire you, you have been around 30 years." she said. Seven pm rolled around, and supper time. "Ah, Ms. Fine, there you are," Max said. "Here I am." she smiles. "Are you learning your lesson, Ms. Fine?" Max asked, "Loud and clear, Mr. Sheffield," and she winks at Niles. "Good, Ms. Fine, I am pleased." "Mr. Sheffield, couldn't I start my grounding next week, "she asks," I really wanted to go out tonight." she added. She sits down softly."ouch." she whispers, even with the doughnut, sitting was quite hard for her." "No, Ms. Fine, You should have thought of that beforeall this mess." "Alright, just checking," she says. She keeps watching the time, Max sees her. "Ms. Fine, I hope you aren't planning to defy me, it would have more consequences for you, should you decide to defy me." "Mr. Sheffield, I wouldn't do that, I was thinking about the movie I will miss tonight, that's all." "I am starved, all that running, worked up an appetite." she says. Everyone laughed at that one. "Ms. Fine, it is good to see you have a sense of humor still." Brighton says, "So, Dad, you lost millions today, are you sure you are ok with it?" Fran glares at him. "Brighton, I have taken matters into hand, all will be fine." Fran decides to get back at Brighton, for both remarks he has made, at her expense. "Brighton, does your father know you are failing Math?" "No," Brighton says, looking worried. "Brighton Sheffield, what the devil?" Fran contiues, "He brought home an F just yesterday, Mr. Sheffield. "Ms. Fine, why didn't you tell me?" "Guess I let it slip my mind." She grins. "Anything which pertains the children, you tell me, Ms. Fine." "I sure will, Mr. Sheffield." she promises. "Brighton, what have you got to say for yourself?" "Oh, and Brighton was in trouble last week for playing jokes in class." Fran wanted Max's mind off of her, and she felt Brighton could benefit from a little trouble himself. "That's it, Brighton, you are grounded, and I am going to take the paddle to you." "But.Dad," "No excuses, Brighton. "Finish your supper, and get to my office." Fran says to herslef, "Good, the little rat, teasing me, I will make my move while Max is taken Brighton to task." Brighton goes to Max's office, it is 7"30 pm. Niles,says, "Good one, Ms. Fine." "I know," she says, smiling. Three whacks were heard, and Max said Brighton must stay in his room doing his homework. Fran heads for her room to change, but Max calls her into the office. "Ms. Fine, I need a word with you," She thinks he figured her out, and she wasn't sure she wanted to go in. When she goes in, Max says, "I need you to keep an eye on Brighton, he can be a sly one." "Alright," she says. "One more thing, Don't ever keep things from me again, reguarding the children." "that would have earned you another paddling, but you already had enough today." "I am giving you a break, this once." "Thank you, Mr. Sheffield." "May I leave now?" "Gotta keep an eye on Brighton." "Yes, Ms. Fine, go ahead." she finds Niles, and says, "Niles, I need for you to keep an I on Brighton for me while I am out." "Ok, Ms. Fine, but you and I both go down, if caught." "Don't worry," we will make it," she said. She rushes to get ready, Niles motions when the coast is clear. "Ms. Fine, do you have the tape recorder ready? "I sure do, if Mr. Sheffield gets suspicious, go to my room, and you know what to do." "I still think this is a bad plan, Niles says." "Oh, would you trust me, Niles?" "Sure, Lucy, now go meet Ethel." he teases. "Now, loan me your phone for the night." he gives her his phone. Fran went out, got in the car with Val, and took off. "We did it, Val, we made it." "Fran, you can't be sure, until the night is over." "Sure Val, we are home free." They get to the movie theatre, use the ladies room before the movie, "Val, I forgot my doughnut," Oy, Fran, you want to eat a doughnut, now?" she asks, "No, Val, the one I need to sit on right now." "Oh, Val said." "Dit it bruise," she shows Val. "A little, but not too bad, Fran." "Well it hurts," Honestly, why does he have to be so mean?" They rush into the theatre. "Great movie, Val," Fran says. Unbeinknown to Fran, Max already busted her. He is sitting in the back, when he sees the girls come in, and they got their seats, he moved right behind them. He hears Fran tell Val, " I sure fooled Mr. Sheffield tonight, Val. ", and she and Val laugh. Max is furious. He patiently waits until the ending of the movie. He dials Niles phone, "Fran answrs, "Yes, Niles?" Max says,"Did you enjoy the movie?"Ms. Fine!" "Turn around," he says. She does, "O........y, Val, I am so in trou.....ble.....! Max nodds, "Yes, you are, Ms. Fine." "Val, guess I am going home with him, Val, "How long until we can go out," Val asked, Max answered, maybe in two weeks, Ms. Toriello. Max reams Fran out in the limo ride home. "Funny thing, ms. Fine, You would Have been home free, but Brighton saw you sneak out, and told me." Fran says, oh, that Brighton." Niles is in trouble with me as well" he said. They arrive home, and Fran doesn't want to get out. "Driver, keep going." "Sam," don't move, he told the driver. He gets Fran by the hand and leads her into the house. He brings her in the office, and says, "You know the drill, Ms. Fine." Niles lost count on how many whacks she got, he was trying to think of how to get out of his mess. Fran finally comes out, Max says, " Go to your room, Ms. Fine, and two more weeks are added to your grounding." "Niles!" Max calls him into the office. "It's obvious you won't get what Ms. Fine did, but You are going to work here, and I am loaning you out to others in your spare time." "No bonuses next time, either. " "Yes, Sir, " he mumbles. the show ends

"Fran", says max, "Did you cancel my business meeting?" "Well, Maybe," she says." Did you or didn't you?, he asks. "Promise you won't get angry?" She said. "Fran, what did you do? "Niles wouldn't hurry and answer the phone, and I got it." "I didn't know it was your important meeting, and the receptionist was rude to me." "Fran!"he said, "Well, call them back, Max, and get the meeting rescheduled." she said. "Honey, it isn't as simple as that, they have gone out of town, and won't be back for 2 weeks." You may have cost me some money, again!" he said, angrily. "You are my wife, but you are not to interfere in my business matters." "Remember what I did to you when you did that as my nanny?" "Too well, "she says. "Well, you are about to revisit those memories, darling." He points to his office. "Max, you wouldn't, would you?" She asks. "Yes, now get moving." he nudges her. "Don't even try to run, it never works for you." "Oy," she says. "Max, you know I don't have my doughnut pillow anymore." she said, hoping to change his mind. "Then it is your problem, isn't it?" Max said. "Oy, not again!" Fran says with dread. As she enters his office, Max swats her once for being too long in getting to the office. "Ouch." She says, flashing Max a look. Max takes out the paddle, "You still have that thing?" Fran asks. "I am not getting rid of this thing, it will keep you in line." He says, reassuringly. Fran says, "Now I know why they call it the board of correction." as she leans over the desk. Max laughed, it was funny what she said, but he quickly reserved to the task. He whacks her 5 times, hard. "I don't want you to bruise", he says. He puts her over the knee for the rest. Fran tests him, by trying to get off of his lap. "Fran, the more you do that, the more I am going to make you stay over my lap." he said. ten minutes went by, and he allows her to get up. "Fran, no more interfering, understand?" He said sternly. Fran says, You must like to do this to me, "she said."Now that you are my wife, I feel it is legal, but no, I don't like it." He said. "Watch your tone with me, Mrs. Sheffield." Fran says, "Oy, that is almost as bad as calling me Ms. Fine. " "I don't get grounded this time, do I?" She said sarcastically. "Keep that tone, and I will paddle you again." he responded. " Do not leave the house today." he said. "Oh Yeah, Fran said, "Watch me!" she said. She felt like playing around with Max, and push his buttons. Max was not amused, he was an hour late on his work now, not to mention the millions, possibly due to the cancelled meeting. She heads for the door, Max catches her," you are not dismissed, my fiery bride." he said. He gives her another ten minute paddling. "You had better stick around here, Fran." he warned. "Alright, I will behave." she says, but only because my touchas is sore. " She leaves the office. "Niles, she said, "Can you believe he did that to me again?" Niles says, "What do you expect, Maam, you pushed his buttons, and he responded." "Niles!," how can you take his side? I am not, You asked my input, I gave it." The door bell rings. Fran gets it instead of Niles. It is the investor, he came to have the meeting anyway. Niles tries to tell Fran, but she won't allow him to explain. She doesn't ask the guy who he is, and before she knows it, she says something that causes the investor to leave angry. "Tell Maxwell I am not going to invest in somewhere who allows his wife to be rude." Fran says," Oy, I am in trouble, again." CC comes in, "What happened to Mr. fleming? "He told me some nut was rude, and he, "Nanny fine!" She runs to tell Max. Niles says, " "better run, Maam." , "Niles, I can run and hide, but it will make it harder if I do." "Max will catch me, I can't hide, I have to come out sometime." "Francine Sheffield!" Max used her full name. "Oy, here it comes." she said. She went to his office, "Honey, let me explain." CC leaves the office. "Darling, you did it again, I had the chance with Fleming, and now I don't. " Out comes the paddle. The finger pointing to his desk. !5 whacks are heard. CC is laughing. Niles says, " There is nothing funny, Babcock, this is the 3rd time he has done that to her in just this morning alone." "Niles, you know I love it when nanny Fine gets just desserts from Maxwell." "Well, I think you should get one." he said. CC considers it, "dream on doughboy." Fran comes out, "Fran" Max said, go up to our room for the rest of the day. " Fran says, "Yes, Max, and I know, no going out." Max says, "You got it." the end.
