These aren't my characters I am just using for a little story. I thought I try my hand at a Niles/CC story I know it might not be that good, but bare with me its my first. This story is for Christine who constantly supported me. Also the idea for this story came from the Friends episode, "The one where everyone finds out…" If you like the story you might want to watch the show. I tried to put as many details as possible but I have never written a Niles/CC story so I am giving it my best effort.

5am in the morning-
Niles paces the kitchen floor waiting for Grace to wake up. "What is taking her so long doesn’t she realize if I don’t get up town I am going to get stuck in traffic!" Niles continues to pace the floor until he hears feet coming down the backstairs leading to the kitchen.
Gracie: Morning Niles (repressing a yawn)! What are you doing up so early?
Niles: You know why I am up so early!
Gracie: Are you going up town to see C.C. again? You know I really regret seeing you two on the couch how long am I going to have to keep this a secret? I mean why can’t you just tell everyone…its not like anyone is really going to care?
Niles: Shhh of course it’s the only time I get too see her.
Gracie: Ok so what do you want me to do?
Niles: Here I already went out and bought some donuts just tell them I had a Butlers Association Meeting or something.
Gracie: This early?
Niles: Look its getting late I have to get up town you make up stories to Mr. Sheffield about the visa bill every month I am sure you can up with something. If all else fails take him up stairs and you know…
Gracie: Goodbye Niles
Niles: Remember Gracie don’t tell anyone…I owe you big time for this
With that Niles runs out the door to make it uptown to meet his lady. Gracie stands in the kitchen fixing the donuts on the table to make it look somewhat presentable. 10 minutes later everyone starts to stream down the stairs heading toward the table.
Brighton: Hey where’s Niles I wanted some waffles? Gracie what are you doing up so early?
Gracie: I needed to check to see if my painting for advanced art class had dried and Niles was up and said something about an early meeting with some Butlers for a breakfast or something?
Brighton: Wow at 6:45 am?
Gracie: Well I guess one of the butlers is going on sabbatical and they are planning a party for him and they have the meet uptown so it is pretty far and if he hits traffic.
Fran: Really?
Yeah he was worried about you cooking Fran so he ran out and bought some donuts for everyone at like 5:30am…Isn’t Niles sweet?
Fran: Yeah so everyone sit down and eat your breakfast I need to run upstairs and get your father up.
Maggie: Fran when you come back downstairs I need to talk to you.
Fran: Sure honey I’ll be back in five minutes…
Maggie: Fran since you and daddy are married I really think I should find my own place.
Fran: Honey are you sure?
Maggie: Yeah I can never have a life here without daddy’s watchful eye! Will you help me go apartment searching in uptown today?
Fran: Sure, honey are you going to be able to go to school and make rent?
Maggie: Fran I don’t have a job daddy’s going to pay.
Fran: Sorry forgot who I was talking well why don’t we go after breakfast I just want to get dressed.
Maggie: Sure meet me downstairs…
Meanwhile uptown Niles is rattling his keys in the door.
Niles: Honey I am home!
After a few minutes of no answer he walks around looking for his lady. He looks around the house only to find a note.
Niles, I am somewhere in the house find me…
Love your lady…
"Drat I have to go looking for her?" Niles continues walking until he finds a trail of roses leading to the bedroom. Oh she made it too easy on me. Niles follows the trail just to find another note placed on the bed…
Niles, did you think I was going to make it easy…
Think really hard where in the apartment would I be?

Back at the mansion Maggie and Fran are getting ready to leave when Max walks out of the office…
Max: Fran have you seen C.C.?
Fran: No sweetie I haven’t her but I am sure she’ll make an appearance…
Max: Oh well I guess those contracts are going to wait. So where are my two favorite ladies off too?
Fran: Well, Maggie wants to find an apartment uptown.
Max: What?
Maggie: Yeah well daddy I am getting older and I think I should live on my own. The room will be open and it’ll give you guys more privacy in the house. Brighton is probably going to move to the dorms next year so I think it would be best if I moved.
Fran: Yeah sweetie she’s right she needs to move on in her life.
Max: Well, ok but I want to go and make sure the neighbors are ok.
Maggie: Daddy!
Fran: Max!
Max: What I think I should go and at least see where my daughter’s going to live and since I am probably going to pay I might as well see where it is.
Maggie: Ok fine daddy but please don’t embarrass me.
Max: Oh honey I won’t
Fran: Uhh honey you just did Max (she whispers in his ear)
Max: Sorry Margaret (whispers back to Fran I’ll take care of you later…)
Maggie: Yuck parents back away…
Max: I’ll get the car
Fran and Maggie put their jackets on and Maggie grabs her coat as she runs out the door.
Max: Ok so where are we going first Maggie?
Maggie: Well there’s a nice apartment on 2352 Oak Street. It’s a studio apartment and in a safe neighborhood.
Fran: Oak Street why does that sound familiar?
Max: Did you used to have a boyfriend who lived on Oak Street? Like that cop?
Fran: Honey no but Oak Street just sounds really familiar is there a Loehman’s up that way?
Maggie: No but I bought my prom dress three streets up.
Fran: That’s probably it.
Max: Well here we are let me just park and then we can take a look around.
Meanwhile Niles was continuing his search for his lady when a distant shadow came up from behind him and put his arms around his waist. "You took too long," She said in a quiet seductive voice… "I waited for almost an hour…" Niles turned to look her in the eyes. His robust blues eyes blazed into her green eyes as his lips hungrily sought hers. "I looked for a long time…" "Why don’t we move this back into your bedroom?" "We can show those sheets a thing or two?" "Oh tiger I thought you’d never ask…" It did not take them long to get rid of their clothes. As they ran hand and hand to the bedroom, but the rush to feel the other one's body was so strong. Niles quietly made love to his woman he loved to hear her moan with delight. "Do you like this?" A little more of than she whispered. Soon they were on a passion filled island where only lovers could go.
Maggie: Wow this apartment is great I can’t wait until daddy can see this.
Fran: Maggie hold that thought I need to use my bathroom…
Maggie: Sure Fran…
Fran: I’ll be right back…
Maggie: Hey there’s Niles and CC… "Hi Niles…Hi C.C." Hey wait there doing it…Oh my…Fran get in here you have to see this…
Fran: What Maggie?
Maggie: Look Oh my god!
Fran: My eyes…my eyes
Max: Hey what’s going on in here?
Fran: Look Max!
Max: Is that CC?
Fran: And…
Max: Niles…what are they doing?
Fran: It…
Max: What?
Maggie: They are doing it daddy…
Max: Oh Maggie cover your eyes…
Maggie: Daddy I am 21 not 12.
Max: Well I guess they’ve decided to move into another room…
Maggie: Well other than that I still love this apartment so why don’t I go downstairs and apply?
Max: Are you sure?
Maggie: Daddy this place is in walking distance from the house and I can get curtains.
Fran: Yeah beautiful curtains I can’t wait to decorate…
Maggie: Uh decorate?
Fran: I do get to decorate right?
Maggie: Oh of course…
Back at CC’s apartment "CC I have to go back to the Sheffield’s because I have to pick up Gracie and then take her to ballet." "Well tiger when am I going to see you again," CC says in a seductive voice. "Possibly tonight, but I have to see if I can get Fran to get them to go out for dinner." "When can we just tell them?" "We have to wait the Sheffield’s are just getting back from their honeymoon." "I am sick of waiting, but ok Niles…" "All right I love you CC"
Maggie: Fran what did we just see back there?
Fran: Well, I guess I can tell you…
Max: What?
Fran: Oh I forgot you were here…
Max: Look let’s not be yentas it’s their relationship why don’t we just tell them?
Maggie: Or we can have some fun of our own with those two sneaks?
Fran: Like what?
Maggie: Well dad you can use your position as the ‘boss’ and Fran can use the best tool at her disposal…
Fran/Max: And what’s that?
Maggie: Her sexuality…
Max: No…
Fran: Yes lets do it I love messing with Niles and I am not really going to do anything.
Max: All right so how do we get them?
Maggie: Well whenever Niles and CC say their doing laundry well will just give them a bunch of laundry to do.
Fran: Oh I’d like that…
Max: Why you don’t do laundry anyway
Fran: So I have dresses that need to go to the cleaners.
Max: Whatever…
Fran: All right lets do it!
As Niles walks back into the house it is eerily quiet. Mr./Mrs. Sheffield he yells from the ground floor, Maggie, Brighton… Well, at least I know where Gracie is. Niles looks at his watch oh I almost forgot I need to pick up Gracie.
Maggie: Ok lets set up what are we going to do?
Fran: Well Niles won’t be back for another 10 minutes…
Max: I am going to the office I need to clear my mind.
All right time to get ready here he comes up the walkway. Are you ready Fran?
I guess I am as ready as I’ll ever be Maggie…
Niles: Hello Mrs. Sheffield/ Maggie how was apartment hunting?
Fran: (touches his arm and rubs up and down his arms) Oh it went very well. We found a great apartment on Oak Street. Do you know Oak Street wow mister have you been working out?
Niles: Oh that’s great did you want some coffee?
Fran: Sure are you poring?
Niles: Of course…
Fran: (touches his arm again) Oh hello there Mr. Biceps…
Niles: Well I do like to squeeze things…
Maggie: I bet you do…
Niles: What was that?
Maggie: Oh nothing Niles.
In the hallway Niles and CC are sneaking some kisses while no one is around.
CC: Oh Niles this is so dangerous we could get caught!
Niles: Oh blondezilla just shut up and kiss me would you?
CC: As you wish dustpan…
The kiss gets heavier and heavier until CC is literally ripping Niles shirt out of his pants. She rubs her hands up and down his chest sending shivers down his spin.
Niles: Stop we must stop before this gets too far.
CC: Don’t be a wimp Niles your too cute for that how’d you get so cute?
Niles: Well if you must now my grandfather was Swedish and my grandmother was a tiny English bunny…
CC: Oh now your even cuter!
Niles: But that reminds me I think Mrs. Sheffield was coming on to me today…
CC: Niles you called her Mrs. Sheffield…she is married you know
Niles: I know but she was all over me
CC: Oh how so?
Niles: She touched my biceps…
CC: This biceps? (Grabs his biceps…)
Niles: Well it isn’t flexed right now blondezilla…
CC: I think you just misunderstood her I mean didn’t you always joke around before?
Niles: I didn’t misunderstand she was all over me…I think she’s think I am foxy!
CC: Sweetie Fran has always thought of you cute in a sexless way…
Niles: Oh I can’t hear that enough…
CC: Look we will figure it out but I have to get back before Maxwell realizes I am gone…
Niles: You want to spend more time with him than me?
CC: You’re the only dustpan for me baby…
With that she gives Niles a quick kiss and heads back to office to fill out more contracts. Hoping that 5pm will come quickly so she can see Niles again.
Later on that day Fran, Maggie, Brighton, and Gracie were planning on going to a movie. Well what do you guys want too see?
Gracie: I want to see Changing Lanes it is has gotten great reviews and I love Ben Afflect.
Maggie: Yeah I heard it was a thrilling ride…
Brighton: Your not supposed to stay up watching review shows.
Maggie: Ok see if you ever get a date.
Fran: Ok kids what do you want to see no need to fight.
Maggie: Well is it ok to see Changing Lanes?
Fran: Yeah why don’t we invite Niles?
Maggie: Good idea?
Fran: NILES
Niles: Yes Mrs. Sheffield?
Gracie: Why is your un-tucked Niles?
Niles: Oh Miss. Gracie one should not pry as he turns to Mrs. Sheffield. Niles gives Fran a look as if you told them, but Fran answers back
Fran: Grace you remember Niles always un-tucks his shirt to clean the bathroom. He has always tried to make himself more comfortable.
Gracie: Really?
Niles: Really Miss. Grace I have to pull out the shirt in case any chemicals fall. Niles gives Fran another look he mutters under his breath, "could you think of something better next time…"
CC and Max walk into the room at about the same time as Mrs. Sheffield started calling Niles…
CC: Nanny Fine do you realize how well your voice carries?
Fran: Just about as well as your thighs carry at a buffet right?
Max: Ladies no need to fight!
Fran: Well anyway I was about to ask Niles if he wanted to go see a movie with the kids and I?
Niles: Well actually I was going to do some laundry…
Max: Oh I’ll go to the movies honey maybe CC’ll go?
Niles: Well I was going to teach CC how to remove grape stains from satin sheets…
CC: Yeah I am dangerous with red wine and sheets…
Brighton: Really you drink alone?
Niles: No B that how she lures men into her bed…
Maggie: Oh wait since you guys are doing laundry would you take my dresses to the cleaners?
Niles: Well I might not have enough money to take them…
Max: Oh Niles I have money here you go…
Fran: Well you guys if we want to catch the movie we better go.
Brighton/Gracie: Bye guys!
Niles: Bye
Fran: Bye Niles I miss you already (and she grabs his butt)
As they all walk out the door Niles and CC stare at each other in disbelief. Why would Fran want to cheat on Max with Niles of all people the one who set them up in the first place?
Niles: Did you see that CC the grabbing and the touching?
CC: I actually did see that…Oh my god Fran and Maggie know they are just trying to freak us out that’s the only explanation…
Niles: What about my pinchable butt and bulging biceps? They know!
CC: So they want to mess with us? They think they can mess with us…oh no well will show them!
Niles: What are we going to do then?
CC: Well lets see how far Fran can take it can you pretend to like her?
Niles: I guess so but why don’t you do it?
CC: Because she was coming on too you…
Niles: Well what if we throw them off track by having you come on to Mr. Sheffield?
CC: Maxwell is probably clueless about the whole thing…this is what we are going to do….
First you’ll call Fran from my apartment and invite her over for drinks and then we will just see how it goes. See how she responds…
Niles: Wait how far am I going to have to go with her?
CC: She’s going to crack way before you do…
Niles: And what if she doesn’t…
CC: We will win…
Niles: At this?
CC: I always win…
Niles: At this?
CC: Don’t worry you’re on my team
Niles: I love it when you get competitive…
CC: Not right now baby I am on a role.
Fran, Max, Maggie, Gracie, and Brighton stumble back in from a long night at the movies. All right guys why don’t you head up to bed?
Maggie stay down here we need to talk.
Fran: I don’t think the plan is working…
Maggie: It is Fran you had Niles on thin ice…
Max: You did sweetie…
The telephone rings and Maggie jumps up to answer the phone, it is Niles. "Maggie I need to speak to Mrs. Sheffield it is important," "Sure Niles let me get her…"
Maggie: Fran its Niles…
Fran: (takes the phone) Hello you…
Niles: Hello I was thinking about what you said before and I can’t help saying I am very much intrigue…
Fran: Huh?
Niles: Well you know about the sex? I mean that’s what you meant right?
Fran: Uh I am going to have to call you back…where are you…?
Niles: Here’s the number I am at 389-0036
Fran: Ok bye…
Fran throws the phone down and just stares at it.
Maggie: What happened?
Fran: He wants me to come over for wine and more…
Max: What!
Maggie: No way he’d never do that to CC…
Max: Unless…
Fran: They know we know
Max: Ah yes so give him what he wants…lets so if he’ll crack…
Fran: All right let my call him back…
Niles: Hello…
Fran: Niles it is me I was thinking what if I came over right now?
Niles: Umm ok…here’s the directions get a pen…
Fran: Well I guess I am going…
Max: Oh I am going too
Maggie: Yeah me too…
Fran: Well ok you guys wait outside…let’s just make sure everything works out.
They drive back to uptown its late but Fran is ready to get this out in the open so she doesn’t have to deal with this anymore. "Are you ready Fran?" "I guess I am about as ready as I’ll ever be…" "Alright," Max says "because we are here…" "It ShowTime Fran!"
The walk up the stairs and Fran is about to knock before Maggie says wait. "Fran you have to bring something…" "Here take this basket with wine and bread…" "Yeah and don’t worry we are going to stand right here…"
Meanwhile inside of the apartment Niles and CC are performing for the biggest Off-Broadway performance of Niles’ life. "Ok Niles look I’ll be in the bathroom just seduce her until she cracks." "Like I said before how far do I have to go with her?" "Niles she’s going to give in way before you she’s actually married…" "But its Fran she’s competitive…" "Just go out there and get some…" "And CC where will you be?" "I am going to be in the bathroom listening…" "Ok"
Fran rings the doorbell and Niles answers; he’s wearing a relaxed grin on his face and a robe with collared shirt and tie. His black pants and shoes match the outfit perfectly.
Niles: Well are you just going to stand out there or are you going to come in?
Fran: Uh I was going to come in I brought some wine!
Niles: Well pour some good lady…
Fran: I was planning on it…
Niles: So what do you want from tonight?
Fran: I don’t know we’ll see where it goes…
Fran poured two glass of the red wine and the both finished it with one gulp. "Well Mrs. Sheffield why don’t I put on some music?" "Sure as long as you call me Fran?" "Ok Fran..." "Maybe I’ll dance for you…" Fran starts to do some kind of club dance that unnerves Niles and all he can say is "Wow Fran you look good…" "I know she says…" "Well what do you say we move this into the bedroom then?" "Now?" "Oh sure I mean if you don’t want too…" "No Niles it isn’t that I just want you too take off all my clothes and rub lotion on me…" "Well Fran that’d be very very nice." "Ok" "Sure Fran I’ll go get the lotion…" Niles runs into the bathroom where CC is… "How is going Niles…?" "She’s not backing down she wants me to rub lotion on her!" "Oh Niles she’s bluffing…" "You just go out there and get some…" Meanwhile by the front door… "Fran how is going?" "He’s not backing down he wants to rub lotion on me…" "Fran you can take Niles you taught him almost everything he knows…" "Fran darling show him your bra he’s afraid of bra’s can’t work them…" "What Maxwell!" "Well if you just show him your bra this will be all over…" "Oh I like that…" "Fran opened up the first two studs of her shirt…" "Ok listen sweetie this isn’t the time to be conservative open it all…" "Max why the sudden rush?" "Fran I need to use the bathroom…"
Niles leaves the bathroom and sees Fran at the front door just after she closed it. "Oh Fran you’re leaving?" Fran turns around and says "Not without you lover!" "Oh well come here then…" "Well Niles this is my bra…" Fran walks slowly looking down to make sure he can see her top open… "Its very very nice." Fran puts one hand on Niles hip and Niles put his hand on her opposite hip. He starts to put his other hand on her bra, but thinks better of it. Instead he placed his hand on her shoulder… "Well Niles I am going to kiss you now." "Not if I kiss you first." "Well I guess there’s not left to do but kiss…" "Here it comes Niles." They start to kiss awkwardly at first, but Fran gets into it until Niles backs away. "Fran I can’t have sex with you…" "And why not Niles?" "Well beside the fact that you are married to my boss…I am in love with CC!" "Your what?" "That’s right I love her I love her…" The bathroom door comes open and CC walks out. "Oh Niles I just thought you were doing it I didn’t know you were in love. "CC I love you…" "I love you too dust I mean Niles…." "So it is out in the open no more sneaking around right?" Maxwell says… "Oh yes of course sir but hold on I need to call Gracie…"
Fran looks up at him, "Why Niles do you need to call Gracie…"
"Well I need her she can sleep in tomorrow and not have to make excuses for me like a Butler’s meeting uptown…" "Poor Gracie…" Maggie ventured… "Niles old man why don’t you sleep here tonight we will take care of ourselves again tomorrow…" "Really sir?" "Yeah just consider it my congratulations too you and please no more sneaking around…" "Yeah I guess I finally heard her loud mating call…" "Yeah ok Niles we are out of here you yenta." "Goodnight…"
