C.c knocked on the door of the sheffield house at eight that night her eyes were wet from crying and her mascara was running she couldn't stop crying and she was shaking very badly and she couldn't stop she heard footsteps coming towards the door she wanted to run but her mind wouldn't let her just then niles opened the door.

"what do you want?"he said in his ususal gumpy manner until he got a look at her "what's wrong?"he asked trying to not sound nice but he wasn't successeding

"my date"she stuttered with her bottom lip trembiling "went horribly wrong"

"what happened?"he asked sounding concerened.He led her inside and to the couch.

"i.don't wanna talk about it"she said looking away filling tears coming back to her eyes she let out crying laying her head on his shoulder."niles?"she questioned.

he rubbed her back forgetting that there suppose to be enemies"yes mrs babcock?"he asked her not caring what it was because right now he would go to the ends of the earth for her

"i really thought this was my last chance at love but he"*she didn't wanna tell but she did anyways"beat me niles.He beat me until i slept with him.All i wanted was to have was a boyfriend who didn't wanna sleep with me on the first date but it never happened as much as i prayed for it it just wouldn't happen"she cryed more on his shoulder not wanting to get up.

"Miss.Babcock i'll tell you someone who loves you"he lifted her chin and looked her square in the eyes

"who?"she asked in a soft toned voice."me"he answered her in a low voice not wanting her to hear.but she did and she leaned over and kissed him.

"what was that for?"he asked her looking into her dark blue beautiful eyes."for being my last chance"she answered him as she kissed him softer and the last words you hear are."one last chance Miss babcock.one last chance at love"
