Red Roses Pt. 2

Recap of last chapter : C.C. decided to ask Max out on a date, and Max accepted. Fran decided to go to the restaurant to distract them from having a good time. So I’ll take it where I left off at.

Fran = (In her head) Oh I don’t know if I should do this. Just go for it Fran. No you’ll embarrass yourself.

Waiter = Hello, may I seat you

Fran = Waiter, please do me a favor?

Waiter = What can I do for you?

Fran = Act like you’re my date

Waiter = Well, I get off in a few so I’ll go change back into my clothes and sit with you

Fran = Perfect, I’ll pick us a table

Waiter = Good, I’ll be back in no time

Fran = Thank you so much

Waiter = No Problem, why wouldn’t I want to go eat dinner with you?? Come on your beautiful

Fran = Oh Stop it (They both laughed)

Waiter = Aren’t you funny?

Fran = Ha!!

Fran walked over a table that was close to C.C. and Max

Max = Fran???

C.C. = Nanny Fine??

Max = What are you doing here, you’re supposed to be watching the kids

Fran = Niles, said that he would watch them, I have a date, he’ll be here in a sec

Max = Who’s your date??

Fran = His name is um… David

Max = David?? David who??

Fran = David Geofrey

Max = Jewish??

Fran = Yep

Max = Well aren’t you lucky?

Fran = Yes I am, well if you don’t excuse me I have to touch up a little bit, you know to look beautiful for him

Max = Have fun

Throughout the whole night, Max looked over and Fran and Fran looked over at Max, their eyes met a few times, but they played it off like they were just glaring at everyone.

Deep inside they both knew that they were in love with each other, but they were so scared to admit their feelings.

Later that night (At Home)

Max = So did you have fun tonight?

Fran = Sure did, how about you?

Max = We had a blast

Fran = It took you a while to get home after dinner, you guys went to the movies

Max = Oh no, the movies?? I don’t really like the movies

Fran = Oh it’s so much fun you should go!!

Max = Who to go with?

Fran = I’ll go with ya

Max = O.k. how about tomorrow, we go see a movie together

Fran = Mr. Sheffield??

Max = Yeah Miss. Fine?

Fran = Do you love me?

Max = Miss. Fine!! I don’t know as a friend I do

Fran = As nothing more?

Max = Nope

Fran = Mr. Sheffield please tell the truth

Max = Miss. Fine I will not sit here and let you force me to tell you that I love you

Fran = I Love you!!

Max = I’m not ready for this

Fran = You are ready, it’s been so many years since Sara died you need to move on

Max = You’re right I do need to move on but I’m just not sure that I need to move on with you

Fran = Mr. Sheffield you could deny our love as much as you want to but it won’t change the fact that we love each other

Max = Miss. Fine, I have to go

Fran = Go do what? You work all day long, barley have time for the kids, have no love life, Miss. Babcock just wants you because she wants a handsome rich man on her arms and you know it

Max = Well, is that what you think, I’m a bad father??

Fran = Mr. Sheffield I never said that you were a bad father, you’re a great one when you wanna be!!

Max = Miss. Fine I have to go!!

Fran = Fine, go and run away from me

Max = I’m not running away from you, if I wanted you then I would have you

Fran= Yeah? What makes you so sure

Max walked over to Fran and kissed her on her lips, They both felt a connection.

Max = Miss. Fine, I love you

Fran = I love you to

Max = Will you marry me??

Fran = I will

Max = Oh Fran

Fran = Oh Max

Max = I don’t know why I was so scared to love you, I’m ready I just didn’t want to admit it

Fran = I know, Mr. Sheffield

Max = Come on, let’s go upstairs

Fran = What about C.C. ??

Max = What about her?? You’re much more exciting

Max took Fran upstairs after proposing to her, Niles came downstairs to get a cup of coffee, he was still depressed about C.C. and Max. C.C. came through the front door, to give Max his Wallet, which he dropped while walking C.C. to her door.

Niles = (Whispering) Oh C.C. I love you so much, I just wish you knew how much I love you

C.C. = Niles??

Niles = Oh hello, Miss. Babcock, may I pour you a cup of coffee?

C.C. = You love me??

Niles = Do you love me??

C.C. = I don’t know

Niles = C.C. please don’t start a relationship with Max, I love you so much, Marry me!!

C.C. No!!

Niles = Why not??

C.C. = We haven’t even started to date!!

Niles = I don’t care I know that I love you

C.C. = Oh Niles, we need to talk

Niles = Come upstairs

C.C. = For what??

Niles = I want to show you something

C.C. = O.k.

C.C. and Niles walked upstairs and heard noises down the hallway

Niles = What’s that noise??

C.C. = It couldn’t be

Niles = It could be

C.C. = No!!

Niles slowly opened Max’s door to see what all the noise coming from down the hall was, and surely enough Niles and C.C. saw Fran and Max making love.

C.C. = I can’t believe you would do this

Niles = Do what?

C.C. = Bring me up here to show me, Nanny Fine and Maxwell having sex!!

Niles = That’s not what I brought you up here for I swear!!

C.C. = This Is why I could never love you

Niles = C.C. don’t leave I swear this is not what I brought you up here for

C.C. = Bye Niles

Niles = C.C. don’t leave!!

C.C. walked to the door crying, and Niles slowly walked to his bedroom very sad.

(In the bedroom)

Fran = What’s that noise

Max = You don’t know what that noise is?

Fran = Not that noise someone is crying

Max = Who??

Fran= I don’t know

The front door then closed

Max = What the bloody hell was that??

Fran = I don’t know

Max = Stay here Fran

Max walked downstairs to see where the noise was coming from, he then heard Niles crying, and decided to go and see what was wrong.

Max = What happened?

Niles = C.C. hates me now

Max = No she doesn’t

Niles = I don’t feel like talking now

Max = Well, I’m here if you need me

Niles = Thankyou

Max = No problem

The next day (In the office)

The phone rang

Max = Hello?

C.C. = Hi Maxwell, May I speak with Niles

Max = C.C. why aren’t you here at work today

C.C. = Max I quit

Max = Why??

C.C. = Max, I realized that I have to move on, I can’t be stuck on you forever and it is not going to help me by being your partner and being next to you all of the time

Max = I understand C.C.

C.C. = Can I talk to Niles??

Max = Sure… Niles!!

Niles = Yes sir

Max = It’s C.C. you can take the cordless phone

Niles = Thank you

C.C. = Hello??

Niles = Hello??
