This story was inspired by Stephanie she wanted me to right this story so bad. I also want to say that I am a huge music fan so that's why most of my stories include songs. This song has a lot of K-CI and Jojo. They are one of my favorite duos. I do not own any of these characters or the songs. K-CI and Jojo wrote the songs "Crazy" and "All My Life"…so please enjoy. The story has to do with Fran and Max once again. Also it has to do with a fight and Fran running away. All right thanks now read the story…

Fran is sitting in her room staring in the mirror. It was obvious that she had been crying. All she had been doing was talking to Maggie about guys when Maxwell’s mother walked in and heard the conversations. She really called me a tramp Fran thought quietly. That woman had the nerve to call me a floozy. Does she know who I am? I am a Fine I do not have to stand for this…! I need to talk to Niles he’ll know what to do, I hope! Fran walks to Niles’ door to and knocks softly.

Niles: Come in?

Fran: (with tears in her eyes): Oh Niles what am I going to do?

Niles: Fran slow down what are you talking about?

Fran: Oh Niles I am sure you heard about the fight I had with Elizabeth!

Niles: Yeah and your point?

Fran: Well, I think Maxwell is going to take her side…

Niles: Listen to me I have a plan. I’ve been saving time up for this cabin I want you to go there and clear your head I will tell Maxwell that you’ve run off so he has to think about what has really happened.

Fran: Oh so pretend to leave? Should I leave him a letter or something?

Niles: Yes that’s a great idea. Ok go pack we have to get you out of here before he gets home. We will have to let the kids know.

Fran: Ok I can just tell them I need them to help me pack!

Niles: Great ok time to put on the fireworks.

Fran walks to her room to compose her letter to Maxwell. She’s not really sure what too say about the fight. Of course, if she could have just walked away from her and not open her mouth maybe she wouldn’t have gotten in so much trouble. Any way she thought I also have to think about what I am going to tell the kids. Oy, I have so much to think about in three hours before I leave. Well, I really can’t think of anything to write so I’ll get packing.

After Fran is done packing she finally sits down to write her letter...after some thinking, she writes:

Fran goes to meet up with Niles...

Niles and Fran are talking in depth about the plan…

Fran: So what I am going to do Niles in a cabin I can’t cook to save my life?

Niles: Well, I’ll pack you some food hopefully it wouldn’t take that twit to figure something is going down.

Fran: Yeah hopefully…

Niles: Don’t worry Miss. Fine everything will be all right!

Fran: I hope so.

Fran must now go explain to Maggie, Brighton, and Grace the plan so they don’t accidentally ruin it. Fran walks into Maggie’s room where all the kids are waiting for her.

Grace: I don’t see why you have to leave to have daddy prove his feelings to you! This is pointless.

Fran: Oh honey it is not really if your daddy loves me he has to choose. I can’t make him love me, and you are getting to the age where you are not going to need a Nanny.

Brighton: Listen Grace this needs to be done! If you want to keep Fran around we have to help her…

Maggie: Yeah Grace do not worry Fran won’t meet a cute park ranger (to Fran can I go to?) She’ll be back.

Grace: Ok Fran, but do you promise to come back?

Fran: I promise don’t worry I’ll be back hopefully with a fat ring on my finger.

Fran hugs each one of the kids and waves good byes to her kids. As she grabs her bag and walks down the stairs and shuts the door behind her. At dinner that night Maxwell seems tired, but not tired enough to notice that Fran’s chair is empty.

Maxwell: Kids where is Fran tonight?

Brighton: Did she have a hot date with Mike LaVoe?

Maxwell: (this comment scared Maxwell that he abruptly left the table) Well kids enjoy the rest of your meal I have some work I have to get done for my next show.

Grace: I think that one got to him Brighton…

Maggie: Yeah good shot

Maxwell walks to his room to find a note on his bed. He takes a note and begins to cry. He final resolves to call Niles and solve this Fran thing once on and for all.

Maxwell: Niles, Fran left me what am I going to do? She got in a fight with my mother and I didn’t do anything to help her?

Niles: Well, Mr. Sheffield why don’t you go after her? You know I may now where she is.

Maxwell: She is probably at her mother’s maybe I could have Grace call over and find out?

Niles: Sir she is way beyond running to her mother’s.

She went to a cabin to clear her mind, and start over maybe you could go there and surprise her?

Maxwell: How do you know where she went Niles?

Niles: Sir honestly do we have time to figure out where she went? Do you want to get her back or do you want to wait?

Maxwell: Well it is quite clear I am going to have to get her. I guess I am going to pack my bags. Niles I am not a good chief what am I going to do about food?

Niles: Sir I will make you some food for you to take for a week. Don’t worry I’ll take care of the kids, but you have to promise to come back happy ok?

Maxwell: Ok Niles maybe you deserve a raise?

Niles: Well…

Maxwell: Well I need to back.

Niles: Oh your right sir. You might miss that flight.

On the flight to the cabin Max starts to dream about all the things he has done in his life with Fran. He sees his past and he sees his future. Every time he looked at his future he always sees Fran in some way. Max contemplated how his life without Fran there. The kids would run amuck and they were so undisciplined. What a scary thought Maxwell. Finally Max resolved he must get Fran to be in his life forever.

The plane landed in Denver at 5:30 and Maxwell had to go to his nearest jeweler and bought a ring. The last thing Max had to do was take his ring off.

Max: Sarah, I wish you were still here, but I actually have to let go of you.

It started raining and Maxwell began to cry…why is this so hard he thought? Max’s thoughts drifted to Fran and what he was going to do about her. He bought a long stem red rose and begin to drive to the cabin that Niles had set her up with. Well, he thought here goes everything…

Maxwell decides that Fran likes something different so he writes the lyrics to this song he hears on the radio that sounds just like their situation. I’ve got it I am going to just say these things to her. That way at least I know she’ll understand what’s coming from my heart. I have the rose and the rain things couldn’t get anymore romantic. Well this is the place so let’s see if this works.

He rings the bell to find that no one answers. He begins to get frustrated and turns the knob. To his surprise he finds the door unlocked. He walks through the house and walks to the bathroom to find Fran soaking in the bathtub. He walks close to her and she is startled to see him there holding her hand.

Fran: What are you doing here?

Max: I came to see you. We need to talk are you going to listen to me?

Fran: What about your mother she hates me?

Max: But I love you…

Fran: What?

Max: Listen I have this for you…

Max cues the c.d. he brought to the song and tries to sing it to Fran…every word he means with his heart…

His voice is so off key Fran begins to laugh really hard, but is amazed by the effort he is putting into the song…

Fran is amazed by the love that is shone in his eyes. Her eyes glisten with tears. She looks him in his faces and ask him is this really how you feel?

Max: This is how feel…I love you I could stand another day without you with me. I want you by my side forever.

Fran: What exactly are you saying mister?

Max: Fran, I am asking you to be my bride!

Will you marry me…

Fran: Oh of course (at this point she pulls Max into the tub in all of his clothes.)

They share a passionate kissed as Max begins to disrobe himself Fran begins to rub up and down his back. She begins to kiss him everywhere as Max caress Fran’s breast, neck and finally making his lips upon her lips. They finally indulge in what they have being waiting five years to do. After making love for a few hours the get out of the tub.

Fran: So what do you want to do know?

Max: Lie in bed with you…

Fran: Don’t be silly…we need to eat first!

Max: Ok how about we go out to dinner?

Fran: Deal…but, I know this seems out of the blue, but what if we got married tonight?

Max (with a worried look): Well, darling I thought you wanted a big wedding…with all of your family.

Fran: With you by my side I think I can handle not having any family there. Plus I can’t go back empty handed. I want to move into your room right away mister!

The left the cabin and found a small chapel where the wedding ceremony was held. Fran wore a flowing gown that looked of satin and Max wore a black suit. They said there I do’s in record time and instead of eating went back to the cabin. One week later it was time to return home…

Max: Darling are you almost ready for the trip home?

Fran: Well, I am a little nervous on how everyone’s going to react I mean what if your friend’s don’t like me?

Max: Well they can sod off because I love you, the kids love you, and Niles loves you…so you shouldn’t have to worry.

Fran: I guess your right let’s go…

Fran: Hey honey how would you like to become a member of an exclusive club?

Max: Oh what’s that darling?

Fran: The mile high club!

Max: How much does it cost?

Fran: Oh nothing at all come here let me show you were you have to join…

Max: Where are we going…

Fran: Oh you’ll see.

On the airplane Fran got her membership to the mile high club with her timid husband Maxwell…

The couple rode hand in hand on the way home. When the walked in the door they were ambushed by Niles.

Niles: Well, sir how did the trip go?

Max: I should say pretty well I mean I married her on the spot…

Niles: Congrats! Sir I am so happy for both of you.

Fran: It went great…by the way honey I have another special surprise for you, but I’ll wait until the kids get here. At that moment the kids burst in the door.

All the kids: Fran your home!

Brighton: So how did everything go?

Maggie: Yeah I want details…

Grace: Spare me…. Just tell me she’s staying….

Max: Oh she’s staying forever. Kids why don’t you start moving Fran’s stuff into my room now. We got married this past week children.

Fran: Max would it be a good idea to renew our vows in front of the kids?

Max: That would be a great idea what do you think children?

Grace: I can write a poem and recite it for the wedding?

Fran: Sure honey…

The next week Fran and Max renewed their vows for all to hear. Grace wrote a little poem for the love of Fran and Max…

Grace: To my mom and dad

I love you with all my heart
I am glad you’ve gotten your start
You have a love the whole world would want to share
Because you are so wonderful…
Thanks for teaching me everything…
I love you guys.

At the banquet Fran told her surprise to Max and the rest of the whole family.

Fran: Well darling since they’ve nicely handed me the microphone I would just like to tell you I am pregnant!!

Max: Oh my…

Maggie: Mom congrats!

Gracie: What are you going to name him/her

Brighton: Yeah I really like Brighton Jr.

Maggie/Grace: Shut up Brighton…

Fran: I don’t know yet, but give me a big hug.

The baby was born April 25, 2002 to Maxwell Sheffield and Fran Sheffield and guess what your all invited to the shower…bring lots of gifs…!
