The Ricki Lake Show

Niles was in the kitchen fixing dinner for the family when Fran come into the room hinting to him about going on a talk show with C.C

Fran: "uh Niles? "

Niles: "Yes Mrs Sheffield ?"

Fran: "Do you ever watch The Ricki Lake show ?"

Niles: "Sometimes not as much as I do Springer, Why do you ask ?"

Fran: "Well would I be pushing it if I asked you to go on one of these Tv Shows with Miss Babcock ?"

Niles: "Very"

Fran: "well.."

Niles: "Why on earth would I want to go on tv with that hagfish for ?"

Fran: "To resolve this love/hate thing you got going, Its not natural Niles"

Niles: "What is ?"

Fran: "I don't know but would you ?"

Niles: "Depends I'll have to think about it"

Fran: "Good because I thought you was gonna say no, I saw this thing on Ricki Lake called
(Either love me or hate me but please stop trying to break me), so I called and I told them about you too"

Niles: "You did what ?!?"

Fran: "Well..I thought it would be a good idea,

Niles: Stares at her evily

Fran: "lets wait before you decide and let me ask Miss Babcock, okay ?"

Niles: "Mrs Sheffield"

Fran: "No don't say anything just wait and see what Miss Babcock says" and rushes out of the kitchen to avoid Niles hitting her with a chicken leg.

Maxwell: was at his desk going over paper work and C.C was sitting on the couch reading down the cast list of names for a new play.

C.C: "hey what about Alec Baldwin?"

Maxwell: "No C.C I don't think so"

Fran: popped her head through the office door hoping to talk to C.C alone, she didn't want Max to know that she set Niles and C.C up on a talk show.

C.C: "Nanny Fine do you mind ?"

Fran: "No go ahead, well actually Miss Babcock can I talk to you a moment ?"

C.C: "What you wanna talk to me?, Haha this should be good"
walks outside Maxwell's office to talk to Fran.

C.C: "Well what is it ?"

Fran: "Do you watch talk shows ?"

C.C: "Yeah sometimes I like springer the best, where they got that crowd thing going you know? , Jerry Jerry Jerry

Fran: looks at her in disbelief "Yeah anyway would you ever consider going on a talk show with someone, say Niles ?"

C.C: "Are you kidding? , with that Brute, get real"

Fran: looks at her innocently

C.C: "Why? , Nanny Fine what have you done ?"

Fran: "well.."

C.C: "Don't tell me you set me up on a Tv show with Niles ?"

Fran: nerves chuckle "Yes"

C.C: "Which one ?"

Fran: "The Ricki Lake Show ?"

C.C: thinks a minute
"Okay I'll do it, why not my life is gone already let's just finish it off"

Fran: "Great I'll go tell Niles"

Maxwell: walks out of the office into the hallway "Tell Niles what?"

Fran: "uh...uh"

Maxwell: "Fran, whats going on ?"

Fran: talks really fast thinking Max won't catch it
"I set Niles and C.C up on The Ricki Lake Show thinking they could resolve there love/hate relationship"

Maxwell: and his nervous chuckle said it all "Ha Ha! You did what ?!?"

Fran: "Well don't get mad honey remember I'm pregnant" and smiles

Maxwell: shakes his head and steps back into his office

C.C: walks back into the office following Maxwell
"Nice one Nanny Fine couldn't have done it better myself"

Fran: "I try" walks back in the kitchen to talk to Niles

Fran: "Niles Miss Babcock said she would do it"

Niles: "Oh that insane women her hole life is gone and now she is trying to take me down with her, well what choice do I have now, I will do it"

Fran: "Great !"

The Sheffield family sat 2 rows from the front on The Ricki lake show except Fran who was in the back, she was going to come out and speak for both sides.

When the Ricki Lake stepped out into the stage and was making sure the Microphone worked Brighton leaned over to talk to his dad.

Brighton: "Dad why are we here again ?"

Maggie: "Yeah this seat it is killing my butt"

Brighton: "Don't worry Maggie it's already flat like it's gonna hurt to sit there"

Maggie: "Shut up"

Maxwell: "Hey enough you too, when they start we have to be still, Niles and C.C are first so this should be really interesting"

Gracie: "Yeah I can't wait there probably gonna fist fight"

Brighton: "I doubt that, they don't allow it in here like Spinger" leans over to Maxwell.
"Hey dad? , why didn't Fran get us on Springer atleast they allow fighting ?"

The lights came on and the music played and Ricki Lake started to talk.

Maxwell: "Sshhhh"

Ricki Lake: "Hi everyone and welcome today on are show, Either love me or hate me but please stop trying to break me, will meet a couple today that share and odd relationship with love and hate will they break the ties today will find out coming up next"

As they went to a commercial C.C took her seat out on the stage

Gracie: whispers over at C.C "Hi Miss Babcock"

C.C: looks out in the crowd to see Maxwell and the children

Maxwell and the children wave at her

C.C: smiles and waves back whispering to herself "Oh good they all came just what I wanted"

The lights and camera's came back on and Ricki Lake began to talk again after the crowd had stopped clapping and cheering.

Ricki Lake: "Welcome back, let's meet are first guest C.C Babcock, C.C tell us what's going on ?"

C.C: chuckles "Well where do I begin..let's see, I came to work for my business partner 10 years ago and that's when it about started, his butler Niles constantly pick's and make's crack's at about everything I say or do and I don't know what his problem is, I never done anything to though at times he can be nice, When he want's to which is hardly never !"

Ricki Lake: "Okay well let's let Niles come out here first we'll have you go back stage and wait till we get his side then we'll have you come back out, okay"

C.C: "Sure" and she stepped off the stage back into the sound booth so she couldn't her a word he was going to tell the audience.

Ricki Lake: "Okay everyone let's welcome Niles"

Niles: steps out and has a seat next to a empty chair where C.C was just sitting.

Ricki Lake: "So Niles what's goin on ?"

Niles: "Not much the usual"

Ricki Lake: "tell us about you and C.C Babcock"

Niles: laughs "Hmmm well what is there to tell? Since she came to work for Mr Sheffield my employer I noticed right away she was after him, It was so pathatic, Ever since then we alway's have fought on accasion or unpredictable"

Ricki Lake: "You think you might be alittle jealous ?"

Niles: "No I am not"

Ricki Lake: "But doesn't it sound like you are ?"

Niles: "It may but I'm not, trust me you know when your in love, this is not love"

Ricki Lake: "Well maybe it is and you just don't want no one to know? ,
let's bring C.C back out here and hear what she has to say"

C.C: stepped back out and sat down next to Niles

Ricki Lake: "C.C is there anything you wanna say to Niles?"

C.C: "Yeah" and turns to Niles
"Why? Why do you always do things to toy with my emotions and hurt me inside and out ?"

Niles: "Why do you insist on going after Mr Sheffield?, he's married now?"

Gracie: was talking to Maggie when Maxwell leaned over.

Maxwell: "Sshhh, there talking about me"

C.C: "I'm not and I haven't ben for awhile, there is no excuse for that anymore!"

Ricki Lake: walks over to a young women in her 20's with brown hair.
"Okay we have a comment"

Women From Crowd: "Yeah, Hi , This is for Niles, It so abvious that all this little comastion is you being jealous over her liking someone other then you, I mean why should she like you after you treating her that way? , you give her some sign you cared and maybe thing's would be different"

C.C: "He doesn't Care he is a Heartless flippant"

Niles: "Shut up you old tired piece of cow !"

Ricki Lake: "Niles do you think you could ever love this women sitting next to you?"

Niles: stutters never actually answering the question "Well..Yes..No.."

C.C: "HaH! What kinda question is that there is no way this Monger would ever find me attractive!"

Niles: "Be serious women, You don't need me to say it , when you have guys like COLON to do that for you!"

C.C: "Thats Colin and I broke up with him all ready"

Ricki Lake: "I do believe we have a friend back stage that can shed some light on this subject that has had experience seeing them together lets welcome Fran Sheffield"

Fran: stepped out and took a seat next to Niles where the props man had placed her chair to sit down.

Ricki Lake: "So Fran tell us about Niles and C.C ?"

Fran: "First can I say I loved you in Mrs Winterbourn, it was so good and funny I have watched it 6 times now"

Ricki Lake: "Thats great thanks, Now Fran back to the question ?"

Fran: "Oh well...the tenstion here is way beyond anyone in this room,
I mean why not just go for it see if one of you back down?"

Niles: "Only she would know about vagrancy, I not to fund of it"

C.C: "Yeah and your the Roman leader of The Ancients from 476 A.D."

Ricki Lake: Walks up to another women alittle heavy with blonde hair
"We have another comment"

Other Women From Crowd: "I think Fran Sheffield has got the right idea, just go for it you don't
know how you will feel tommorow, You could totally be a different couple"

Niles: "Were not a couple of anything"

Ricki Lake: picks another person from the crowd to comment this time a man.
"Another comment"

Man from crowd: "The only couple you need are in a gas station in the mens bathroom get you some spend the night with that fine blonde on stage come back and tell us all what happened!"

Fran: was laughing at the guy

C.C: was blushing

Niles: "If it were that easy, if only she wasn't a man"

C.C: stares at Niles wide eyed

Ricki Lake: "Niles how could you say a thing like that to C.C? abvious you do not know how to express your feelings for someone"

C.C: points to Niles
"What does it matter this man couldn't get laid in a monkey brothel with a bag of bananas"

Niles: "Me? your the one always looking to get poked!"

Fran: getting a kick out of seeing them two go out it, speaks up
"Hey what a second now listen if you guys didn't like each other what about that time me and Max came in on you to kissing in the living room ?"

Ricki Lake: "Uh oh, You wanna tell us about that you two?"

C.C: "Well it's perfectly simple it was a mistake"

Niles: "yeah a mistake, like she has proven that even god makes mistakes sometimes.

Fran: "Niles! that was plan mean !"

C.C: Sobs "Niles I hate you!, your so stupid you couldn't pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were written on the bottom of the heel"

Niles: "Hog"

C.C: "Savage"

Niles: "Beast"

C.C: "Dust Fairy"

Fran: "Enough! already"

Ricki Lake: "Maybe this really is just a plain hate relationship !"

Fran: "No I don't think so! , Niles you know you like her admit it now!"

Niles: "Well..."

Fran: "and Miss Babcock like your so innocent! If you didn't like him why did you kiss him?"

Niles: turns to wait for C.C's answer

C.C: "Well he did it !"

Niles: "Well what was I suppose to do it felt right!"

Fran: "There yeah see? Now look I am happily married and have twins on the way, Do you actually think I would come on this show inless they were made for each other, Wouldn't you agree there perfect for each other?"

Niles: "Well..maybe she is not all that bad when shes not having Alcohol withdraws"

C.C: "And maybe your not so bad always scheming against me"

Niles: "Really? , I'm sorry Miss Babcock"

C.C: "Oh Niles are sorry too"

Niles: gives Miss Babcock a big hug.

Fran: "Awww, I think I'm gonna cry"

Ricki Lake: "Isn't that sweet? Folks I think we did it ?"

C.C: "Niles your so sweet I could kiss you !"

Niles: "Go for it"

C.C: Grabs Niles and gave him a kiss and it seemed to last forever because the show was over and off the air when there lips broke

Maxwell and the children still watching from there seats.

Brighton: "Yeah know I never thought I'd see the day when them to would be making out in front of the world"

Back home Maggie had gone on a date and everything seemrf pretty normal until Fran and Maxwell came out of his office to goto bed. The lights were off in the living room and Maxwell thinking Maggie was in there with her boyfriend tells Fran to turn on the light.

Fran: "NILES !"

Maxwell: "C.C !"

Apparently C.C and Niles were joined at the lips and Maggie had come in the door right after they were caught

Maggie: "Hey so whats going on in here?"

Fran: turns to Maggie smiling "Trust me you don't wanna know"
then turns back to Niles and C.C for the answer.
