(CC quit 5 years before Fran got there becuase of something that
happened with Niles. Now its 5 years later and Fran just started
to work for the Sheffields. The Sheffields take a trip to L.A and they
see a familar face.)
5 years ago the year 1988.....
A 25 year old CC walks into the kitchen to get some papers she left in there
and she would leave for the night. Max already went to bed hours ago and the
kids went to bed hours ago. Max stopped work and went to bed early sense his
wife died. Niles was there in his robe, glasses on, reading the paper. CC
walked right past him.
"Why haven't you left yet?"
"I was just leaving for your information. You know I am kind of getting
tired of all the putdowns and insults. Do you think your funny?"
"Yeah, I do and so does everyone else."
"Well, I don't and I would appreciate it if you would just cool it. If you
can't talk to me in a civilized way don't talk to me at all."
"Well, I am sorry. I am just a simple low class butler or what other way did
you describe me?"
"Look, I am sorry for that. I was mad. You had been insulting me all day and
I wasn't in a good mood."
"You are never in a good mood." CC just glared. By now Niles had walked up
close to her. They just kept looking at each other. Niles saw a good portion
down CC's blouse and that was not a good idea because now he had to try and
calm himself down. CC on the other hand, looked at his robe and it was
gapped a little. She saw his chest and it was all muscle. Niles was ten
years older then her and she had no idea he would be in this good of shape.
Well, he is only 35 but still.
Niles didn't know what he was doing but he grabbed CC and pulled her into a
kiss. CC responded and wrapped her arms around him. They kissed for what
seemed like forever and broke a part. CC's face was flushed and Niles
thought it looked sexy.
"Miss...CC, I don't know what it is but I find myself oddly attracted to
you."
"Same here." Niles then realizes he was still holding her and let's her go.
He couldn't do this it wouldn't work out.
"I don't think this would work out." CC looked confused. She wanted this why
not.
"Why not?"
"Well because for one thing........your way to young for me."
"To young. I am only ten years younger then you. That is not a good reason."
"Yeah but its just...."
"Its just what? Because of what I had said earlier. I don't care that you
are a butler."
"Well....what the hell." He pulled her into yet another kiss. CC wrapped her
arms around him again. Niles slid her coat off her shoulders and put it on
the table. CC stopped him. "Whats the matter. I thought this is what you
wanted."
"I think we should go somewhere more private."
"Maybe your right." CC grabbed his hand and dragged him upstairs. Niles led
her to his room and they shut the door quietly. But as soon as the door was
shut they weren't quiet. Niles' room is on another floor of everyone else's
so they should be safe.
Niles and CC immediatly started to rip each other's clothes off until Niles
was naked and CC was in her bra and panties. Niles took her bra off first
and his eyes went wide.
"How much did those cost?" he said with a wicked smile.
"They are 100% real thank you. Just feel for yourself." said CC with a smile
as she brought Niles hand onto her chest. She then pulled him into a kiss.
Niles broke the kiss.
"Well, I guess they are." He kissed her again and they made love until mid
morning until they finally fell asleep. CC woke up in Niles' arms and
smiled. She turned and saw Niles was already awake. She expected for him to
be sweet but all he did was....
"Get out!"
"What?"
"This was a mistake. A terrible mistake." He let CC get dressed and then
pushed her out the door. She ran downstairs, gathered her stuff, went home,
and cried. She took a shower and regained her posture and went to work.

Two months later.....
CC and Niles went back to insults forgetting about what happened that night.
CC for the last week has been sick. She would suddenly, leaving a confused
Max, bolt to the bathroom to throw up. She just thought it was the flu and
just kept drinking nothing but stomach medicine. She looked pale and she was
dizzy sometimes.
"CC are you ok?"
"Yes, I am fine. I just have the flu. I have a doctors appointment today at
10 if I could get about an hour off?"
"Sure, take as long as you need."
"I think I better go now, it takes a half hour to get there." CC left.

"I'm what?"
"Your about two months pregnant. Congradulations." CC just sat there. She
couldn't believe with that one time she had gotten pregnant. She just
couldn't handle this. She would have to tell Niles but how?
"Are you ok Miss. Babcock?"
"Yeah, I just need to get out of here." She left the doctors office and went
straight to the mansion.

Niles answered the door to CC. He glared at her as she took off her coat and
handed it to him. He just threw it into the closet on the floor.
"Niles we have to talk."
"About what? There is nothing to talk about."
"Yes there is. I have some...."
"Listen CC, I think what happened two months ago was nothing but a mistake!
I know a woman in heat would mount anything!" CC slapped him.
"You know what, that night was a mistake and so was coming to work here.
Tell Maxwell I quit!" CC got her coat and left.
Seven months later.....
"Here is your daughter." The nurse handed CC the most beautiful baby girl.
She smiled at her, CC fixed the babies blanket and the baby grabbed onto
CC's finger. CC's heart melted. She couldn't believe she could have gave
birth to something so beautiful. She was going to name her.....Isabelle Ann
Babcock. She was beautiful. Isabelle began to cry and CC grabbed the bottle
the hospital gave her. She was going to be a good mother if it killed her.

Present day.....
Its 5 years later. Max was furious when he learned CC had quit. He got over
it. Fran came to work for them and she has been working for them only a few
weeks now. Fran, the kids, and Max were all sitting at the table all eating
breakfast.
"So, where are you all going for winter vacation?" asked Fran in a perky
voice
"Well, I don't know. Kids where would you like to go?"
"Hawaii, Skiing, L.A!" said Brighten/Maggie/Gracie
"L.A?!?" said eveyone
"Yeah, L.A is cool. Let's go there."
"Dad, no."
"Now look I think this is fair. I mean last year you all went skiing and the
year before Hawaii. I think we should go to L.A. Somewhere Gracie wants to
go."
"Fine. All right." said Brighten/Maggie
"Oh wait, I forgot about the play I was going to look over. Gosh I think I
should hire someone to help me. Ever sense CC left I don't know where
everything is or what to do with the play."
"Who is CC?" asked Fran
"She is Dad's old secretary. She quit 5 years ago. She was very cold
hearted."
"Oh, one of those blue bloods."
"Yeah. She doesn't like kids and she always had the hots for Dad."
"Oh really. Did you ever...."
"Certainly not."
"Ok. What did she look like?"
"Well, she had chestnut hair, I think blue eyes. Not sure."
"What she fat or skinny? Tall, short?"
"She was skinny and tall."
"Oh."
"Well, I don't remember her beacause I was only a year old." said Gracie
"Let's not talk about CC. Let's talk about our trip."
"Well, while you guys are off in L.A, I guess I will be here, bored and no
life."
"Miss. Fine I expect the children's nanny to come too."
"Well, great. This is going to be a great vacation."

Everyone stepped off the plane and into the airport. They were all smiles.
They went to go get their lugage.
"This is so cool. I can't believe I am in L.A!"
"Miss. Fine you never been here."
"I never been anywhere." Niles was right behind them. They brought Niles
because he could use a break somewhere nice, not just at home.
"Now I will be checking out plays people have written. I have this one I
will be checking out this afternoon. This ladies husbend wrote it and he
told me what it was about. I will be working a lot. I am just warning you
ahead of time."
"Thats ok Mr. Sheffield. We understand."
At the same time CC and Isabelle was picking CC's sister up. She went on
vacation away from her husbend and children for a week. CC waved to her
sister and Isabelle ran to her aunt. Isabelle was now 4 and 1/2 years old.
"Aunt D!" Isabelle jumps into DD's arms.
"Hey, how are you? Where is your mother?"
"She is over there." DD looked at her sister shocked she was wearing a short
black tight cotten skirt with a matching low cut shirt.
"What's this sister dear?" Motioning to CC's outfit. "What man's attention
are you trying to get?"
"No one. I just think its time for a change. Besides you always said I
should wear something more form fitting."
"Yeah. Well, you know I am just glad you went back to blonde instead of
staying a brunette. That was not a good color on you."
"Whatever, any let's get out of here."
"Yeah, come on let's go."
The Sheffields were getting into a limo or at least trying to find the limo
Max ordered to be there. While waiting, CC, her sister, and Isabelle were
coming out of the airport right next to them. CC laughed at something
Isabelle said. CC picked her up and waited for DD to get a cab.
Brighten was stairing at CC. He didn't know who it was because of course the
CC. Babcock he knew would never wear clothes like that and had brown hair
not golden blonde.
"Brighten!" He came out of the trance to hear Fran calling him.
"Will, you stop stairing at woman. The limo is here." They all piled in
Niles quickly glanced at the woman. 'Could it be CC. Nah, that woman has
blonde hair.' He got into the limo and they went to the house they were
renting. They decided to rent a house instead of staying in a hotel.

CC dropped off DD at her house and said hi to her neices and nefews and then
left. She looked back in the mirror at Isabelle. Her head was to the side,
she was sleeping. She looked so sweet. CC pulled into the driveway. She
noticed some people next door getting out of a limo. She got out and
carefully picked up Isabelle.
Niles then saw the same woman he saw at the airport next door. 'Nice legs.'
Brighten was stairing too. 'Maybe this won't be a bad vacation after all.'
thought Brighten. They both went inside to check out the house. Outside was
a pool and jacussi. Beyound the pool was a big backyard. The house was just
beautiful. They all decided to take a swim.
Meanwhile CC set Isabelle on the couch, CC changed, and then decided to make
breakfast. She was making the eggs when Isabelle walked into the kitchen
rubbing her eyes.
"Well, you didn't sleep very long."
"My nose woke me up. I'm hungry."
"Well, come sit on the stool. Breakfast will be ready in a minute."
"Can I have and can we eat it outside?"
"Yes and yes. You can put those cut up fruits in that bowl for me." CC and
Isabelle finished breakfast and set it up outside on the umbrella table by
the pool.
"What do you want to do today?" asked CC eating a fruit salad.
"I don't know." said Isabelle chewing on her fruit.
"Ok, how about we go swimming in an hour and then we go for some shopping."
"Mommy, where is my daddy?" CC eyes went wide. She knew Isabelle would ask
this someday but she wasn't prepared for it yet.
"Well, he lives in New York."
"Where is that?"
"That is on the other side of the USA."
"Oh. Why does he live over there. Why doesn't he live with us."
"Well, you see its kind of hard to explain."
"Why?"
"You see your daddy is kind of mad at mommy right now."
"Tell him your sorry."
"Sweetie, its more complicated then that. You see he doesn't know.....that
you were born."
"He doesn't want me??" said Isabelle starting to cry
"No, no sweetie. Its my fault, I never told him and I should have. I know
that if he saw you he would want you."
"Do you really think so?" said Isabelle perking up a bit.
"Yes, I do."
"Do you think we could visit him sometime?"
"Well, maybe. I don't know. Let's finish our breakfast." 'How stupid can you
be CC. You just told the girl her father doesn't know about her. I didn't
want to lie about it but I just wasn't prepared and I know thats no excuse.'
CC and Isabelle finished their breakfast. Isabelle went upstairs to play and
CC started to clean up. She then heard splashing next door. 'Someone must
have moved in.'
Niles just sat down in a chair. He didn't like to swim that much. His
thoughts went to CC. She left. He tried to find her because he knew she was
hurt. He knew that night was a mistake. She was to young and she would just
dump him the next morning knowing what she had done with the butler. But he
couldn't help but notice the smile she had on he face the next morning as
she turned to him. He wished he hadn't done that to her but it was the only
way to avoid her dumping him. He got up and walked over to the fence that
separated the two yards. He looked over and saw the woman clearing dishes
off the table. Her back was turned to him so he couldn't see her face. He
thoughts went back to CC and the night they spent together. He had fallen in
love with her that night. That night was magic. He sighed and then decided
to take a swim.
CC washed the dishes and then went upstairs to get into her swim suit. She
changed into a black bikini. She tied a matching black thing around her
waist and went to go get Isabelle. She was playing barbies in her room.
"Are you ready to go swimming?"
"Yeah." CC changed Isabelle into a cute little lavender one piece and they
went outside to the pool. CC put her stuff on the chair and went into the
pool. Her pool was big. When she moved in it was 3ft to 10ft but then she
had a someone make it bigger so now it was from 1ft to 10ft. She put that in
for Isabelle so CC didn't have to hold onto her that much. It had a little
mini slide that wasn't high so she wouldn't go fast. CC watched Isabelle
play with her ball and bounce around.
After their swim CC gave Isabelle a bath and then took one herself. Isabelle
played in her room and waited for her mom to return. CC and Isabelle were
now ready to go shopping. They left.
Fran and Niles decided to take the children shopping. Max had to go check
out some play so off shopping they went. They were going from store to store
because of Maggie, Gracie, and Fran. Brighten and Niles were dragged along.
They held their bags while the girls looked at more clothing and Brighten
was getting hungry.
"Can we stop to eat something. Its lunch and I haven't eaten anything all
day."
"I am hungry too. Let's pay for these and then find somewhere to eat." They
paid for their clothes and went to a little cafe.
Meanwhile CC and Isabelle were shopping and getting hungry and well and
decided to stop at a cafe. They were seated when Fran, Niles, and the kids
walked in. They were seated right next to CC and Isabelle but there was a
little wall thingy between them. They all ate their lunch not knowing they
were sitting right next to one another. CC and Isabelle left shortly before
Fran, Niles, and the kids did. Never mind being in the same cafe but then
they all were in the same store. CC was picking out a new dress and Isabelle
was making faces in the mirror that was right there. CC smiled at her
daughter.
"What do you think of this one Isabelle?" She looked at the dress her mother
was holding. It was a silk baby blue dress with like a saggy low neckline
with little diamond pins in it.
"I like it but I like that one better." Isabelle pointed to the same dress
but it was a lot shorter and the straps were a halter top kind of style. CC
looked at that one. It wasn't bad actually. She decided to get both of them.
Fran, Gracie, and Maggie were looking at dresses just a few feet away. CC
walked right past Niles and up to the counter. Fran, Gracie, and Maggie
decided to check out. They were right behind CC and Isabelle. She paid and
left. She then bumped into Fran.
"Oh I am sorry." said CC picking up the bags and had gotten.
"That's ok." said Fran helping her.
"Thank you."
"Your welcome." CC and Isabelle walked out just as Niles and Brighten were
walking up.
"You guys finally ready to go?" asked Niles.
"Fran, who was the babe?" asked Brighten looking at the woman getting into a
car right outside the door.
"Brighten she is old enough to be your mother."
"Hey, she has great legs and body."
"Brighten! Thats gross!" said Maggie slapping the back of his head.
"Hey, I'm a man. What do expect."
"You are not a man." said Maggie shoving him out the door. Fran, Gracie, and
Niles followed.

That night they all were having dinner outside sense it was so nice out. Hot
an humid but nice compared to the winter in New York. They were telling
about their day.
"Mr. Sheffield how did that meeting go?"
"Great, I am meeting the guy at this lovely french resteraunt for dinner
tomorrow. He wants you guys to come to. He is bringing his family."
"Why?"
"I have no idea. I guess he just wants to meet you guys."
"Well, I guess thats cool."
"Any young babes for me dad?" asked Brighten
"No, they have two girls and two boys and the two girls, one's in college
and the other in high school."
"Oh darn."
"What about the guys dad?"
"Well, they are actually your age and Gracie's age."
"That's just great." said Brighten throwing his hands in the air.
"His wife's sister and daughter will be there also. Anyway, what did you
guys do today?"
"Nothing just shopped."
"What did you get?"
"Well, we did get new dresses, so I guess thats what we will wear tomorrow."
"What did you get?"
"Daddy! I got a black silk dress!"
"That sounds nice."
They ate the rest of their dinner and then went to bed.

The next day they went to a carnival and had some fun and then went home to
get ready for dinner. Fran got a tight lepard print dress, Maggie got a
velvet red dress, and of course Gracie wore her black silk dress. They all
piled into the limo and left. They got to the resteraunt and had to stay in
line to check their coats in. They found the table and sat down.
"We are so glad you are here. My sister-in-law and her daughter should be
here soon.This is my wife DD, my daughters Rachel and Courtney, my sons,
Brian II, and Adam."
"Nice to meet you, this is my daughters Gracie, Maggie, my son Brighten,
their nanny Fran, and our Butler and dear friend Niles."
"Nice to meet you all. Let's talk about the play. What do you see as a
producer going for the play."
"Well, I see...."
While Max talked about the play CC and Isabelle were just arriving. CC was
wearing the blue silk tight dress and Isabelle was wearing a cute little
velvet dress. They started to walk over to the table and CC saw the
Sheffields. She stopped in her tracks and just staired in horror.
"Mommy, come on." said Isabelle pulling on her to move. CC walked up to the
table. The Sheffields and Niles stopped talking. Fran looked up.
"Oh hi. How are you?" said Fran
"Oh hi."
"You know CC?" asked Max
"I bumped into her at the store."
"Oh."
"Your CC. Babcock?"
"Yes."
"They described you as cold hearted."
"I'm not surprised." she said looking at Niles.
"Mommy, can we sit down."
"Oh, yes please. You two can sit here." CC and Isabelle sat down. CC was
stuck next to Niles. Niles couldn't keep his eyes off of her. He had to
control himself. 'Gosh she smells good.' CC tried to keep her eyes off of
Niles. She still has feelings for him but she is still mad at him. 'Gosh he
smells good.'
"CC I can't believe, well, your a.........mother."
"Yeah, it kind of surprised me too a little bit."
"What is your name?" asked Max to Isabelle.
"Isabelle."
"That's a very pretty name."
"Thank you." Max smiled at the little girl who smiled back. The waitress
came over and ordered their drinks. They all talked about the play and
ordered their food.
"So, CC what have you been doing these past five years?"
"Oh I haven't been working sense I had Isabelle."
"How old are you?" asked Max
"I'll be this many." she said holding up four fingers. CC laughed.
"She will be five in three months."
"Well you are a big girl."
"Yup!" said Isabelle smiling. Everyone laughed. They ate their food,
finished their drinks and then decided to leave. CC and Isabelle drive home.
What she didn't know is that the Sheffields limo was right behind her.
"Hey you guys, isn't that Miss. Babcock's car ahead of us?"
"I think you are right." They are puzzled that she is going in the same
direction they are. They are even more surprised when she pulls into the
house next to theirs.
"Miss. Babcock was that lady next door!"
"I guess so." They saw her pick up a sleeping Isabelle and take her inside.
They all shook their heads and went inside.
CC walked in and took Isabelle upstairs. She put her in her pjs and then
went to change herself. She changed into her pjs, put her robe on, and went
to make some coffee. She got her coffee and went outside. She was standing
there for a while not knowing she was being watched.
Niles was next door watching her. He couldn't help but wonder if Isabelle
was his. She did look like him a little but he wasn't sure. He watched CC
slowly sip her coffee. 'She is still beautiful. She looks good with blonde
hair.'
"Hey Miss. Babcock." CC jumped. She looked over and saw Niles on the other
side of the fence. She was confused. She walked over.
"What are you doing here?"
"We rented the house next door instead of staying in a nosy hotel. This is a
lot better."
"Yeah, well, there are lots of other houses you can rent."
"We wanted this one. What are you doing out here? Where's Isabelle?"
"She is asleep and I just wanted to come out here and relax. There goes that
theory."
"I'll be right back." Niles walked around to the front of the house and went
in through the gate and snuck up behind CC. He touched her shoulder and she
screamed and dropped her coffee cup. She turned around and started to hit
Niles.
"Ow. Hey stop it!"
"Don't you ever do that again!" She knelt down and started to pick up the
glass. Niles helped her.
"I'm sorry."
"That's all right. I am still in kind of shock that you guys are here. Who
is that woman anyway?" She picked up the last piece.
"That was Miss. Fine, the new nanny."
"You sure she is just the nanny?" asked CC with a smile. Niles laughed.
"Yeah she is but I could see the sparkle in Mr. Sheffield's eyes."
"Yeah, I see how much she has changed him and the kids."
"I thought you would be jealous."
"Jealous why?"
"Well, because you always had feelings for Mr. Sheffield."
"That was just infatuation. I didn't have serious feelings for him."
"Oh." CC walked over to the table and set the glass down. Niles walked up
behind her, close actually, very close. CC was beginning to feel
unconfortable.
"Is it hot out here or is it just me?" She walked to the edge of the pool.
He still sent chills down her spin, he always did. He walked up beside her.
"You could always take a swim."
"You know thats not a bad idea." Niles laughed
"I was kidding."
"I'm not." CC took off her robe to reveal a long silver/gold long night gown
that clung to her body. She jumped in the pool. Niles stood there shocked.
"Come on Niles, its fun." He shrugged his shoulders and took off his robe.
He realized he was in his boxers. He jumped in. He almost screamed the water
was freezing.
"This water is cold."
"No its not. You just have to get used to it." CC swam by him and ducked
under the water and began to swim around him. She grabbed one of his legs
and pulled him under. He came up and began coughing. CC laughed.
"You think thats funny huh? Well not your going to pay." He chased her as
best he could in the water and pushed her head under the water. She came up
coughing. Niles was laughing now.
"That....was...not fu....fu...funny." said CC shivering. She went to the
other side and walked out. She got her robe and put it on. Niles followed.
"I thought it was very funny and I thought the water wasn't cold?" said
Niles with a smile
"Well, I wasn't until you dunked me under water. I just got a cold rush."
Niles laughed at her excuse.
"Well, I think I better get back." Niles started to walk away.
"Hey, you want a cup of coffee?"
"Yeah sure." CC tied her robe and they walked into the doors and to the
kitchen. CC got out two cups and poured coffee in both. She handed Niles his
knowing he likes his black.
"Thanks."
"Your welcome. You can sit down you know." Niles sat down on the stool and
CC sat down next to him.
"Why did you leave?"
"Well because of that fight."
"Look, I know you wouldn't leave that job just because of that fight. Why
did you really leave?"
"Well, there is something I should tell you. You see....." Just then
Isabelle came downstairs.
"Mommy?" CC looked up and walked over to Isabelle.
"What's wrong?"
"I can't sleep. I had a bad dream."
"All right. Come on. Niles I have to take her upstairs I will be right
back." She had to tell him Isabelle was his. He had to know. Niles decided
to just leave. He went back to the Sheffields and went to sleep.
CC came back downstairs and saw his coffee but not him. She sighed and
dumped out the coffee and set it on the counter. CC went back outside and
picked up the broken peices of the cup. She walked to the garbage and dumped
it in and then went inside and upstairs to bed.

The next morning CC woke up, took a shower, and got dressed into jeans and a
almost see-through button down blouse and put her hair up in a clip and put
on some matching boots. Isabelle was still asleep and she decided to make
breakfast and then wake her up. Then the door bellrang and CC went to go
answer it. She answered to see all the Sheffields there.
"Hi."
"Hello CC."
"Why don't you come in." They walked in and CC ushered them into the
livingroom. "I'll be right back." CC went to go turn off the stove. She came
back and sat down in a chair. "What did you need?"
"Nothing we were just going to cook out tonight and we wanted to know if you
and Isabelle would like to come over?"
"Sure. I guess."
"Well, thats great and now we must be going. I have a meeting with you
brother-in-law again and they are going shopping."
"Ok, well, bye." They left and CC went back to cooking breakfast. She made
fruit salad again. She and Isbelle didn't eat red or pork anymore. Well, CC
was trying to get Isabelle into healthy eating habits. CC was setting the
table when Isabelle came into the room.
"Hey sleepy head. You hungry?"
"Yeah." CC helped Isabelle onto a stool, CC sat next to her, and they began
to eat. After they were finished CC cleaned up and then took Isabelle up for
a bath. She dressed her and they went outside. CC was typing on her laptop
and Isabelle was in the shallow end of the pool. CC was watching her very
closley. After a couple of hours Isabelle got out and CC changed her into
some clothes. Isabelle was taking a nap while CC was cleaning and CC heard
someone yelling for her. She looked and saw Niles at the fence. She closed
her laptop and walked out to the fence.
"Hello Niles."
"Hello, so I here that you and Isabelle will be coming over tonight to the
cookout thing."
"Yeah."
"What time will you guys be over?"
"I don't know, what time?"
"Well, I guess six o'clock."
"Well what are you serving?"
"Well, burgers and hotdogs. Maggie wants some chicken so we are cooking a
few peices of grilled chicken."
"Can I bring anything?"
"You cook?!?!? I don't think thats a good idea."
"Listen I will bring something that you guys will love and I can cook just
to let you know."
"Sense when?"
"I've always known how to cook. I get it from my grandmother. It must have
skiped a generation though because my mother can't cook at all!" Niles
laughed.
"Well, just don't poison us ok."
"Whatever Niles." CC smiled and Niles smiled back.
"Mommy?" Isabelle walked outside and CC picked her up and walked back over
to Niles. Isabelle looked at Niles and smiled. For some reason she really
liked him. She wished her mother would find a guy like him and marry him.
Maybe she could marry Niles or better yet find her daddy and marry him! Then
they could be a big happy family.
"Are you a friend of my mommys?"
"You could say that."
"Isabelle why don't you go inside. I will be there in a minute."
"Ok." Isabelle skiped inside.
"She is really sweet little girl."
"Yeah she is."
"Did you ever get married?"
"No there is actually something I need to tell you..."
"Niles there you are." said some woman coming out of the house. She walked
up to Niles and wrapped her arms around his waist.
"CC this is Angela. Angela this is CC."
"Hi."
"Hello, I better get back to Isabelle." CC was about to walk away when Niles
stopped her.
"Wait, what was it you wanted to tell me." CC turned around and smiled.
"Nothing important it can wait." CC walked away and into the house and
mumbled. "We just have a child together."
Niles looked as CC stopped in the doorway. He knew she had something
important to tell him. He really wanted to know. I guess he would just have
to wait. Him and Angela walked into the house together.

CC walked up to the door of the Sheffields. She had brought some potato
salad. Just to show Niles she could cook. Isabelle was smoothing her dress
as CC rang the doorbell. Fran answered.
"Hi Miss. Babcock. Come on in. Did you bring something?"
"Yes. Don't tell anyone I made it."
"Why?"
"They think I can't cook and they would never eat something I cooked. Just
don't tell."
"All right. Everyone is outside." CC walked out. She saw the kids playing
some board game. Niles and Angela sitting next to each other and Max sitting
accross from them. Fran was inside getting everything ready.
"CC come sit down." CC sat next to Max and Isabelle was shy and sat very
closly to her mother.
"Isabelle why don't you go play the board game with my children." Isabelle
walked over very slowly but they taught her how to play and helped her. CC
was a little nervous too. She was sitting with these people and she feels
very unconfortable.
"So, CC is it, Max tells me that you two used to work together what made you
quit?" Angela wanted to put this woman on the spot. She didn't like the way
her and Niles looked at each other. Her Niles. She patted Niles leg and he
smiled.
"Well, people change. I needed a change."
"Hmm. I know I might sound a little personal but do you ever date?"
"Well, I haven't had very much time because I have a daughter to take care
of."
"Oh well, you could always get a babysitter."
"I don't trust babysitters. You never know what they are doing with you
child while you are gone."
"Oh well that's understandable I guess."
"I think I am going to see if Fran needs any help." CC got up and went
inside. CC was going to fume if she stayed out there. She went up to the
counter to see Fran putting some chicken on a plate.
"Who is the woman with Niles?"
"That's his girlfriend Angela. She surprised him by coming here today."
"How nice." said CC with a little disppointement in her voice.
"They said you were cold hearted and all but I don't think so you seem
pretty nice to me."
"Well, I was cold hearted. I never thought I would ever have children
because I hated them but when I held Isabelle in my arms my heart melted."
"I can't wait until I have children. I mean I love the Sheffield children
but I would love to feel the baby kick, their steps, words, everything."
"When you experiance those things, its just so amazing."
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Sure."
"Did something go on between you and Niles before you left?"
"No. We just hated each other."
"Yeah I heard about that. Nothing but insults all day long."
"Yeah I kind of miss those days a little bit."
"You miss being insulted?"
"Well, its the only way Niles and I could conmunicate."
"Didn't anything he ever said hurt you?"
"Well, sometimes it did. Especially when he would say stuff about me not
being a woman or anything."
"He would say stuff like that?"
"Yes, that did hurt. It made me cry once."
"Really?"
"Yeah but I have gotten over everything that he did. His pranks, insults, it
doesn't matter anymore. Do you need help with anything?"
"Yeah could you bring that chicken out here." CC followed Fran out and took
the plate over to Max to put on the grill.
"So CC, I just can't get over on how much you have changed."
"Was I really that bad?"
"Well you were kind of well.....mean."
"Yeah I know."
"You have a daughter now. I could remember when you said you would never
have children no way no how."
"Yeah, guess that theory kind of went out the window." CC and Max laughed.
CC nuged Max and they both laughed. Niles saw them laughing and CC nuged him
and he became jealous. She said she didn't have feelings for him. 'I bet she
lied to me.' Angela saw the spark in his eyes and jealousy as he watched CC
and Max. She became jealous because of CC catching Niles' eye. She saw the
way he looked at her and the way she would look at him. They had feelings
for each other. 'Well, he is mine now CC. Mine!'
CC walked back inside to get some other stuff for the grill. Niles made an
excuse to go follow CC into the kitchen. There was something bugging him.
"CC can we talk?"
"Sure about what?" She said putting burgers on a plate.
"Well, there has been something that has been bugging me for a while."
"What is that?"
"Well, its about Isabelle."
"What about her?"
"Is she well.....is she....is she mine?" CC was caught off gaurd. Of course
she was his but she was just kind of shocked that he suspected anything.
"Yes, she is." Niles was shocked but not to shocked.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"I was going to tell you when I came back from the doctors but we had that
fight."
"You still should have told me. I mean one little fight shouldn't have
stopped that."
"Niles you hurt me and I just wanted to hurt you back and the only way I
thought I could was not telling you. I wanted to do this on my own sense you
were so cruel to me."
"I was cruel to you! You didn't tell me that I had a daughter."
"Well, now you know ok!" CC started to walk outside.
"You stop right there. You have no right to do this."
"Do what?"
"Tell me this and just walk away."
"Why not? You walked away from me the next morning."
"I thought you would realize what you did."
"What did I do, that I slept with you. You think I care about you being a
butler! I told you I didn't. The person who seems to have a problem with it
is you! I don't even know why I came here or even talk to you. You don't
deserve to know anything about Isabelle!"
"How can you say that. I am her father!"
"Her father!!! You were not there to see her being born, her first steps,
her first word! You were not there for anything!" CC started to cry.
"Thats becuase you never told me. I didn't know I had a daughter! What kind
of mother are you? Let me ask you this do you ever regret her bring born
because I was never there? You seem to be bringing that up a lot!"
"How dare you! I love Isabelle. Do you know how tough it was to raise her
alone! I never regret the day she was born. I will treasure that day for the
rest of my life when she was layed into my arms. I never regret that day, I
do however regret the day I ever met you!" CC went outside with tears. Every
heard them and pretended like they didn't.
"Isabelle honey. We have to go."
"Mommy what's wrong?"
"Nothing we just have to go. I am sorry Maxwell for the seen." CC took
Isabelle's hand and walked right past Niles and left out the front door.
Everyone looked at Niles shocked. They had heard everything of the argument.
"Niles sweetie can I talk to you." Niles and Angela walked into the
livingroom so no one could hear them. "Why didn't you tell me that you had a
daughter and with her of all people?"
"I didn't know."
"She didn't even tell you!"
"No but I can understand."
"Honey listen, she should have told you its not your fault. You know what
you should do?"
"What's that?"
"I think you should sue for custody."
"What!"
"She kept this from you for five years. She should have told you. Just think
about it." she kissed his cheek and went back outside. Maybe he should. No
he couldn't do that to CC. He couldn't.

CC and Isabelle arrived home. Isabelle went to play and CC went to make some
dinner sense they left. Isabelle came in the kitchen. CC sat her on the
stool and she colored while CC made something.
"What would you like to eat?"
"Pizza!"
"All right, I'll order pizza. It beets cooking." CC ordered a pizza and it
arrived 30 minutes later."
"Thank you." said CC as she handed the money to him. She shut the door and
went into the kitchen. CC set two plates out and put a slice on each.
"Pizza here?" asked Isabelle walking in the kitchen.
"Yup and just the way you like it. Green peppers, mushrooms, onions, and
anchovies."
"Yum!" CC and Isabelle sat down and ate their pizza and put the rest away.
CC looked at Isabelle and she had pizza all over her face.
"Well it looks like someone needs a bath." CC picked her up and took her
upstairs for a bath. She dressed her in her favorite barbie pjs and put her
to bed. CC was in bed trying to sleep even though it was still early. She
was really tired. She then heard the doorbell ring. She growned, put on her
robe and went downstairs. She opened the door to find Niles. She leaned her
head against the door tired.
"What do you want?" she asked yawning at the same time.
"I just wanted to come over and say that I won't do it."
"Won't do what?"
"Won't sue for custody."
"You were planning on sueing me for custody!!!"
"No, Angela told me I should but I told her no."
"Why would you listen to her. This has nothing to do with her."
"I know thats what I told her and that's why she walked out on me and went
home today."
"Good for her. Do you want to come in?"
"Sure." Niles walked in and followed CC into the livingroom. He sat down and
CC curled up her knees up to her chest on the couch. There was silence in
the room for a couple of minutes.
"Niles..." "CC..."
"You go first." said Niles
"I am sorry for what I said. I know I shouldn't have said those things. You
have every right to know about Isabelle."
"I am sorry too. I shouldn't have said the things I said. I guess I was just
jealous and was taking my anger out on you."
"Yeah me too."
"You were jealous? Of what?"
"Well, of you and Angela. What were you jealous about?"
"You and Mr. Sheffield."
"What? Maxwell and I are just friends. We always kid around like that."
"I know. I guess I took it the wrong way." Niles walked over and sat next to
her laying his hands on her knee. CC began to feel unconfortable. She moved
away a little but Niles just moved closer to her.
"Niles please."
"CC, I want to tell you something."
"What is that?" Niles got up and ran his hand through his hair. He was
nervous to tell her this.
"I love you CC. I have sense you walked into that mansion door. I love you
CC. I turely do." He turned around to see CC sleeping. He sighed. He was
just going to leave her there but he picked her up and carried her upstairs.
He looked in all the rooms and finally found hers. He set her down and
covered her with a blanket. He turned and saw Isabelle in the doorway.
"I was just putting your mom to bed."
"I know. Do you care about my mommy?"
"Yes, I do very much."
"Then its simple marry her." Isabelle left and Niles watched her go to the
bathroom and walk back to her room. He smiled and went back to the
Sheffields.

The next morning CC woke up. She smiled at the memory of last night. Niles
said he loved her and then she remembered falling asleep. She never got a
chance to tell him that she loved him. She looked around and saw she was in
her room. How did she get in here she wondered. She shrugged and went
downstairs. She found Niles in the kitchen.
"How did you get in here?"
"I came through the backdoor. You forgot to lock it."
"Thats breaking an entiring, I could have you arressted."
"Handcuffs? Sound like a good idea to me." Niles said with a wiggle of his
eyesbrows. CC laughed.
"Niles we do need to talk about last night."
"I guess we do."
"I love you too."
"I am sorry CC. I take all back what I sa....what?"
"I love you too." CC walked over and kissed him full force on the lips Niles
responded. They kept kissing until they heard someone giggle. CC and Niles
broke apart and turned to see Isabelle giggling with her hand over her
mouth.
"Mommy and Niles kissy face." she said pointing and laughing. Niles and CC
laughed.
"Niles we should tell Isabelle."
"About what?"
"Who her father is."
"Oh right."
"Isabelle sit down." Isabelle pulled out a kitchen chair and sat down at the
table. "Sweetie do you remember when you asked about your daddy and I told
you that he lived in New York?"
"Yeah."
"Well Niles is your daddy."
"He is?"
"Yes, I am." Isabelle smiled and jumped right into Niles arms. Niles hugged
her and smiled at CC. CC smiled back and rubbed Isabelle's back.
"Why don't you two sit at the table and talk and I will make breakfast."
"Ok." Isabelle and Niles sat and talked. Isabelle asked most of the
questions like what he did and what was his favorite thing to do. Stuff like
that. CC made chocolate crepes. She thought Isabelle deserved a special
treat for breakfast. She set a plate of crepes in front of Niles and
Isabelle, then went to make herself a plate. She sat down next to Niles and
began to eat and listened to their conversation. When they were done
Isabelle went to get some toys and CC was going to do the dishes.
"Wait, you made breakfast let me do the dishes."
"No, I have a dishwasher I can just put them in there."
"Let me do it. Now sit." CC sat at the stool and watched Niles put away her
dishes and turn on the dishwasher. "Well, all done."
"Yeah." Isabelle then came running in with crayons and coloring book. Her
mom helped her up with she began coloring. Niles and CC watched her as she
colored.
"You really seemed concentrating on coloring that picture. Can I see?" said
Niles
"Sure." Isabelle handed the book over to Niles and he looked. He was shocked
she colored in the lines and very well actually.
"This is a beautiful picture." said Niles handing back the book.
"Thank you." She went back to coloring.
"Well, CC I better go."
"Wait I will walk you to the door." CC walked Niles to the door. Isabelle
followed. Niles knelt down to her level.
"Bye Isabelle." He kissed her cheek.
"Bye Daddy." Niles heart melted. She called him daddy. Niles then leaned up
and kissed CC on the lips.
"Bye." said CC.
"Bye." CC shut the door and looked down at Isabelle.
"What do you think of your dad?"
"Nice man, weird name." CC laughed and walked with Isabelle back into the
kitchen.

That night the Sheffields came over to CC's for dinner. For the first course
was Crab Napolien, main dish lemon pepper chicken with stri fried
vegetables, and for desert she made peanut butter cream pie. (Crab Napolien
I saw in a movie called Simply Iresistable and the pie is something my
mother used to make. Its a very rich desert.). After the meal they all went
outside to enjoy the cool night air.
"CC that dinner was wonderful. Where did you learn to cook like that?" asked
Max
"My grandmother was a great cook. I guess I just picked it up from her."
"Well, it was a great meal." said Brighten
"Thank you." said CC shocked.
For the rest of the evening they just talked and laughed about jokes the
told. The Sheffields went home at ten and Niles stayed. Isabelle went with
the Sheffields. Gracie asked her dad if she could stay over. Niles and CC
were all alone. They were kissing on the couch. Niles then picked her up and
carried her up the bedroom. They ripped each other clothes off like they did
that first time. They made love for hours. After they layed in each other's
arms. Niles kissed her and pulled her closer.
"I love you so much."
"I love you too."
"I wanted to give you something." Niles got up and went to get something out
of his pants. CC watched as his muscles flexed. He came back and gave her a
velvet box. She opened it and gasp to see a beautiful diamond ring.
"Niles, what does this mean?"
"CC will you marry me?"
"Yes." Niles slipped the ring on her finger. CC tossed the box to the side
and kissed him.
"You know what Isabelle needs?"
"What?"
"A little brother or sister."
"Don't you think we should wait till were married?"
"Well, no harm in practicing."
"Right." CC smiled and pulled him on top of her.

The next morning CC woke up in Niles' arms and she smiled. She got up and
went in the shower. Niles woke up and heard her in the shower and decided to
join her. CC screamed when she felt arms wrap around her.
"Niles you scared me half to death. The whole pshyco shower scene flashed in
my head."
"Well, I just wanted to join you."
"Ok." CC turned around and kissed him. Niles pushed her against the wall and
wraped her legs around him. After their shower fest they dressed and went
into the livingroom. They were watching tv when Isabelle burst through the
door followed by Gracie and the rest of the Sheffields.
"Mommy can Gracie stay over?!?"
"Sure, I guess."
"Great! Come on let me show you my room." Gracie and Isabelle ran up the
stairs. Fran and Max came into the livingroom along with Maggie and
Brighten.
"We are sorry we barged in this. Its just Isabelle opened the door and...."
said Max
"Its ok."
"Well we were wondering if Gracie could spend the day here because her and
Isabelle hit it off."
"That's all right."
"Thanks." Brighten, Maggie, Fran, and Max left. Niles and CC were still
cuddled on the couch and Isabelle and Gracie were playing babies upstairs
for the rest of the day.

The next day CC and Isabelle went with Gracie, Maggie, and Fran shopping
while the men went fishing. The girls were shopping and on the subject of
men.
"So Miss. Babcock. About you and Niles?" asked Maggie. Fran picked up CC's
left hand and showed everyone the ring.
"I think this tells us everything." Everyone gasp.
"Are you and Niles getting married."
"Well, yeah." They all screamed like a group of girls.
Meanwhile CC was being watched. 'Not if I have anything to do about it.' The
person left the store and drove off.

The next day CC and Niles announced it to everyone else. They celebrated by
going out to dinner. CC and Niles decided to separate tonight. CC and
Isabelle went home and the Sheffields went home. While CC and Isabelle was
asleep someone broke in and they set off a silent alarm. They went upstairs
to CC's room. The person looked at her with disgust. That person wanted CC
to know who had killed her, so they woke up her. CC screamed but she was
just tied up. CC looked at.....Angela in fear.
"You just had to take Niles away from me. I remember how he used to talk
about you all the time. I hated you even before I met you. I was so angry
someone had already taken his heart. I was so excited because I was so sure
he was going to pop the question to me soon, then like the little tramp that
you are came running right back into his life with that basterd child of
yours. Well, Niles will be sad when he learns that you and your daughter are
dead but he will get over it and will get on with his life with me the way
it was supposed to be before you tramped your little way into it!"
Angela came at CC with a knife but then was stopped when a cop came in and
grabbed her. CC breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the cop arrest
Angela. Another cop came in and untied CC. The cops left with Angela in
custody. Niles then came running in and wrapped his arms around CC.
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah. Just a little shacky....Isabelle!!" CC ran into her room and saw
Isabelle sleeping peacefully.
"I can't believe she slept through the whole thing."
"Yeah." CC and Niles left. The Sheffields were still asleep.
"Everyone slept through it."
"Yeah. Niles stay with me the rest of the night."
"You think I would leave you alone?"
"No."
"Your right." CC and Niles went to straight to sleep.

Conclusion.....
CC and Niles were married two months later. CC and Isabelle of course moved
to New York. Isabelle loved it because of winter. Fran and Max are dating a
little. Niles and CC are expecting their second child in a month and Angela
keeps sending Niles letters telling him how much she loves him and wants him
back. Angela was put in a funny farm soon after the doctors discovered the
letters and because she thinks she and Niles are married and he is going to
come and rescue her from the monster in her closet. All in all everyone got
what they deserved.
