Mr. Sheffield gets the big star Morgan Faulkner to be in his next production. But Fran is unimpressed; she went to high school with Morgan and was always very competitive with her.

Morgan arrives and Fran makes her entrance.
Morgan: Don't tell me you're Mrs. Sheffield?
Fran: Well, let's just say we don't need to sign a piece of paper, but the kids adore me, I live here, you fill in the blanks.
Morgan: So you're the nanny?
Fran: And the blanks are filled.

Fran goes to see her mother for advice on dealing with her jealousy.
Sylvia: Darling what's bothering you? That she's a big star and you're a maid? Marmala, don't look in other people's windows, ya never know what someone's life is truly like.

When Fran gets home, she and Morgan are right back into the "life" competition, and Fran is losing big time.
Morgan: Oh, I'm sorry, do you need to clean in here?

When Maggie gets turned down from two colleges, Morgan offers her a job as her assistant.

Fran's depression over Morgan and losing Maggie deepens.
Fran: I can't believe Morgan took away the only daughter I never had. How many shiska goddesses do they think I got in me?

Maxwell thinks this job is great, until Maggie announces she is going to go to Europe with Morgan and isn't going to go to college.

On Mr. Sheffield's orders, Fran goes down to Morgan's hotel to talk to Maggie about it.
Fran: Now listen honey, I know that you think this job beats going to college, I just hope that someday you don't regret it.

The entire family goes to Passover dinner at Sylvia's. Gracie reads the four questions, including one that Sylvia slips in.
Grace: When is Daddy going to marry my daughter already?

Maggie quit her job and joins the family for dinner. She had thought about Fran's advice and decided to go to college.

Later that night, the family feels the effects of dinner.
Max: Does everyone eat like this on the Jewish Holidays?
Fran: Why do you think we wandered the desert for 40 years? We were walking off the meal!

Fame

Baby you look at me
And tell me what you see
You ain't seen the best of me yet
Give me time I'll make you forget the rest

I got more than you
And you can set it free
I can catch the moon in my hand
Don't you know who I am
Remember my name

Fame
I'm gonna live for ever
I'm gonna learn how to fly
I feel it coming together
People will see me and cry
I'm gonna make it to heaven
Light up the sky like a flame
I'm gonna live forever
Baby remember my name

Baby you hold me tight
Cause you can make it right
You can shoot me straight to the top
Give me love and take all I got

Baby I'll return
Too much is not enough
I can ride your heart till it breaks
Oh I got what it takes

Fame
I'm gonna live for ever
I'm gonna learn how to fly
I feel it coming together
People will see me and cry
I'm gonna make it to heaven
Light up the sky like a flame
I'm gonna live forever
Baby remember my name

Fame
I'm gonna make it to heaven
Light up the sky like a flame
I'm gonna live forever
