In the tag, C.C. reconstructs it but Fran scares her. The award falls and breaks again and Niles throws it in the garbage. Well, in the eipsode 2.3 (Everybody Needs a Buddy) two episodes before they recieved that award, when Fran goes to Maxwell's office for convince him to accept Grandma Yetta as a guest while her retirement home is being fumigated, you can see that same award on a shelf between the couch ("C.C.'s office") and the window in Maxwell's office.
