C.C.: Maxwell, you have little planes all over your tie.
Max: So?
C.C.: So Daddy's a Navy man. Don't you have anything with boats?
C.C.'s father is coming to dinner, and C.C. is less than thrilled and very nervous.

"Stewie" was a big hit with the entire family.....

...especially with Fran when she found out he was one of the backers of the Streisand concert.
Oh, you must be plotzing!!

I'm fine.
Stuart invites Fran to come backstage at the concert with him since C.C. doesn't care for Streisand. (Blasphemy!!)

See ya later Stu.
Goodbye Kitten.
Kitten?

Stu took Fran shopping for a dress for the concert and they got along great!

Fran: Miss Babcock, you don't have a problem with me spending time with your father, do you?
C.C.: Miss Fine please. I couldn't care less.
Niles: Oh good, because if they get married, Miss Fine'll be your new mummy.

While dressing for the concert, Fran's guilt kicks in and she thinks that C.C. should go to the concert instead.
Fran: Wasn't it you that said family comes first?
Sylvia: Our family, not theirs.

Fran convinces Stuart that he ought to take C.C., but C.C. catches them in a hug and locks herself in a bathroom.

Ready to go....
You look stunning...just like Audrey Hepburn.
Too bad I sound like Selma Diamond.

Fran and C.C. talk it out, and C.C. and her dad go to the concert.

Fran: Oh Ma, Stu says he's got a suprise for us.
Barbra: Hello gorgeous!

C.C. and Stuart hold a phone up at the concert so Fran and her Mom can listen in to Barbra singing.
[No, it wasn't really Barbra doing a guest shot. Just a look-a-like actress.]

People
(Written by B.Merrill-J.Styne)

<instrumental piano stanza>

People,
People who need people,
Are the luckiest people in the world
We're children, needing other children
And yet letting our grown-up pride
Hide all the need inside
Acting more like children than children

Lovers are very special people
They're the luckiest people in the world
With one person, one very special person
A feeling deep in your soul
Says you were half now you're whole
No more hunger and thirst
But first be a person who needs people

People who need people
Are the luckiest people in the world
