I liked the beggining best. But the show was good, the Niles and CC alliance was great! But ooohhh how frustrating, those moments! When he proposed.. And when his memory came back... But things are picking up!
Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! THAT's the way to do it! The pace, the reversals, the surprises, and the COMEDY were The Nanny the way it always was, pre-Thing. This was just plain FUN! We now know Maxwell wants to propose to Fran someday, but it doesn't have to be rushed! And the stuff about CC and Niles ending their "friendship" PLUS the AOL reference? LOL!! There was just enough romance without soapy mushiness. The jokes sprang from the plot, not the other way around. AND... NO GUEST STAR!!!! Finally!! That fantastic cast was able to flex its muscles without some VIP piece of wood deadening the pace! Thank you, thank you, thank you -- PLEASE keep up this kind of great work!!
I really liked this one, the first scene with Fran suddenly in the office and then that whole thing with Max and Fran was great... I also loved Niles imitating Fran in the kitchen, I'm still laughing, and then C.C. walking in, what a hoot....... no complaints here!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!
What a funny episode this was from beginning to the end! This is the nanny as it should be with all the players contributing equally to a very good show and without the guest stars.
I can't help feeling a bit disappointed in this episode. I thought the first half was pretty good, several good lines & a couple of LOL moments ( Niles & CC's unholy alliance, Max's face when he learns that Fran is wearing Gracie's skirt ), but I was unhappy with the whole "magic of the falls" bit. I just didn't think it was funny. And the title was "From Flushing With Love." Where was the love? All I saw was desperation. Finally, when are they going to stop painting the middle class as a bunch of vulgar pigs? The Aunt Cookie bit made me shudder. The Fine family didn't start out like that, & I don't understand why they have evolved this way. It's not funny, it's insulting.
This wasn't really one of the BEST episodes, but it wasn't really a bad one either. I liked the scene in Max's office, with Fran and Niles ( that was a good teaser) I thought with the title of this episdoe From Flushing with Love it would have been MORE romantic.... But oh well... I hope the next episodes.. are better!!
I only saw the last 15 minutes of this episode because I thought that it was going to be a repeat. I thought the scenes between CC and Niles were hysterical, and the scenes are the boat were LOL. But I thought it was a cop-out to have Maxwell's proposal drowned out by the water and then not being able to remember that he proposed. Also about last week's episode, that was not a Lousiana Crunch cake that came out of that Entemann's box. If they went to all of the trouble to get a real box, they could have gotten the real cake as well.
I think this show was great! I love the part were Niles imatates Fran in the kitchen. I also like the part were niles dumps Ms Babcock when Ms Fine ask what is wrong. I love the part were Maxwell was thinking he was the butler and how he almost gave Ms Fine what she wanted. And Finally No Guest Star!!!!
This was a good episode. Our show is definately making a comeback. I loved Niles/CC in this episode. "You've got mail."-ROTFLOL! Max/Fran were very cute in this episode. I think that it's official they are an item. I also think it's great the kids know, and are supporting their relationship. Good episode!
Truth be told, I didn't really like this episode. It was a "10" on the Corny Meter. It really wasn't very believable at all, and the Niagra Falls soon was, as Ms. Fine would say, "So not!" They can (and have) done better than this.
The beginning with Niles & Fran competing to get Max to give them time off was funny, but then it kind of died. The Niagara Falls bit was pretty lame & someone really needs to help Fran burn most of those outfits ! She doesn't need the "tacky" look any more ! It may be time to tone down Fran's family too !
Ok, it was a good episode , I guess I expected more but it was funny, anyway. Love the part with Dr. Miller and the part where C.C & Niles become a team against Miss Fine.
I loved this episode, especially C.C. line "Now I wont hear that voice on my computer 'You got Mail'" that was LOL. I also liked Max's "Scully and Mulder explain this X-File".
This was not one of my fav's, although I really enjoyed the short teaming of Niles and C.C. ~grin~ I loved the "short-term" memory loss, but have to admit, it is wearing a little thin. I think Niles needs a woman, at least for a few episodes...And I agree! No guest stars made the show it's own!!!
I loved the first 20 mins of it, specially the part where Niles cleans the breakfast table with his 'tuchis'! ;) I also loved the teaser, when Fran magically appeared on Mr. Sheffields desk, and all the stuff about the skirt belonging to Grace.
Another WINNER! We almost got everything we wanted in one ep..gratutious ear tickling, romantic ships, marriage proposals, a Niles/Max switcheroo, and a romp in Max's playroom (darn that amnesia!) and no guest star overriding the plot! Great use of ALL the characters. Niles/CC unholy alliance was another step in their developing relationship. (one step forward, ten back). The kids are ready for Max & Fran to move forward...everything is beginning to fall into place. Let's keep the season going in this direction, don't rush it, let us savor the moment, and it will be the best season ever!!
I love it when Madeline Zima is in the episode a lot. She is really cute!! That's the whole reason I watch The Nanny.

Our responses (15) gave the episode a 7.1 overall, a 7.3 for the comedy, and a 5.9 for romance. Some comments received were:
I liked this episode. Certainly the episodes are getting better each week. The teaser was FANTASTIC ("you have much to learn young jedi" - LOL). Niles/CC's alliance was a little weird, but funny. The Dr. Miller scene was boring as usual (I'm getting sick of Fran whining all the time) but the rest of it was great. I particularly liked the scene where Niles convinces Fran to take the whole family to Niagra falls. Overall, enjoyable.
It wasn't as bad as I thought. The sequence with Niles and CC ploting against Fran was the best scene during this episode.
Yeah! A new episode! I thought it would be a little more romantic. Oh well. I guess that it still to come! Niles was a hoot!!
Not too bad I guess, but it just didn't sing. It had some good funny moments in it, but not as good as I was expecting. Get rid of Dr Miller!! I agree the teaser was fantastic! (The Jedi quote was LOL!)
This episode wasn't as good as expected. The beginning office scene set the show up to be a winner but the whole magic of the falls thing was such a let down. If anything, Fran is beginning to get too desperate to be funny. The "unholy alliance" between Niles and CC and the end scene with "but he also thinks the butler is fooling around with the nanny" is what salvaged an otherwise boring episode. On the positive side...no guest star (keep this up) and the children actually had a few lines, after all, Fran is their nanny. From what I've read from this web site, the upcoming episodes are something to look forward to.
just love it all
This episode was quite good-better than I expected. I loved the bit at the start with Fran and Niles ( "You have much to learn young jedi", and "That's how I just won") The CC/Niles frienship was funny-but what a wierd world that would be?! I'm hoping next week's is more romantic. Can't wait for Max to propose for real!
C.C. and Niles are wonderful! I wish they would get together soon. They're made for each other. BTW, did anyone notice that there's a pretty good glimpse of "Morty Fine" in this episode? (Check when Sylvia takes his toupé off, and you'll see) [webmaster's note: a little later, when Fran and Max are talking, you can see him even better in the background. He pulls his hood over his head and walks away, but there's a pretty good glimpse right there!]
I love this ep. Niles impression of Fran was soooo, funny! I hope the rest of the season is like this. 99%in my books, keep up the good work.
I loved the look on Max's face when Niles said that Fran was wearing Gracie's skirt!!
Why has Mr Sheffield changed so much???
Regarding the question about why Max has changed so much.....I say, FINALLY!!!!!!!!
We are finally beginning to see him act like a man. He loves the woman and its only now we're
seeing that. Although the teaser proves what a gentleman he is (I'm trying to convince myself
that he isn't a wimp because I like him too much). At least the kids were in this episode and
we didn't have any guest stars. In my books this episode was mediocre, the whole magic of the
falls bit was a disappointment, it could have been more romantic. At least we saw some action
between Niles and CC, how long had this "unholy alliance" been going on for if his pottery was
coming out of the kiln?
The Dr Miller scenes are getting boring, the only funny one was in The Boca Story (ie Dr Miller
in the bathroom doing his hair) I can't wait for next week when we'll finally see Max taking
hold of the reins and acting like a lovestruck man, pity the rash has to get in the way of it
all though. Well I guess this leaves the honeymoon as a MUST SEE EPISODE for next season.
on a final note, channel 10 get your act together, your much awaited battle of the sexes show
is crap. bring back the re-runs of TN, at least 6pm viewing would be more interesting.
I agree most indefinately, battle of the sexes is a poor substitue for old episodes of TN. I must say, most other people like the fact that Max is opening up finally, but I would have to say I liked it better when he played hard-to-get. I can't help thinking that by Max and Fran getting married it will spoil the series. I think that at the beginning the show moved too slowly, and Niles should have spent more time exploiting Mr Sheffield while he had amnesia!! The best line in the whole ep was "You have much to learn young jedi" that was a crack up. I thought the acting at niagra falls was a bit corny but otherwise it was an ok episode, Niles and CC being the highlite.
Not bad - but I'm looking forward to the coming weeks...... not long now!!!

Our responses (27) gave the episode a 8.3 overall, a 8.1 for the comedy, and a 8.7 for romance. Some comments received were:
I thought this was alot of fun! LOL's throughout, great pace, a little romance, and Sylvia was a hoot and a half. And Fran's physical comedy was top notch. Nits - needed more Niles/CC and less Bolton trying to sing opera - ugh! (NO MORE GUESTS!!) What was CC buying? My guess is peroxide :-) An 8/10
It was a great episode and I loved Maxwell with his shirt opened. He looked so sexy!!!!!! And the face he put when he saw fat Fran... I JUST LOVED THAT FACE!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see Fan and Max together. Great episode!
Excellent episode! It had it all: romance, comedy, everything. Although Maxwell suddenly being so impulsive came out of nowhere.. A little change is always good! But, oh poor Fran, everything happens to her. But it looks like next week she'll have better luck!
I enjoyed this episode and thought it was funny. Max wasn't very much like Max, I can't figure out what happened to turn him on like that and make all his issues disappear in a flash, but okay, it was funny.
A very excellent, wonderfully funny and romantic episode and the ultimate in the mixed messages, double meaning dept. Max's reaction to the "messages" he was receiving from Fran was very natural. (i.e. her rubbing up against him, leading his hands on a guided tour of her front side, her wanting to get out of her dress, Ok we knew she was itchy from the rash but he didn't, but it all certainly started him "itching", after all he was with the woman that he loves). I say yes, yes, yes, very natural, very romantic, very promising and had he reacted any differently, this morning I would be enrolling him in a seminary. My favorite scene, Max with his shirt unbottoned (pass me an ice cube), favorite line "Hey, wait for me".
The change in Max's attitude was a bit abrupt and not really explainable (was it the music or all her wiggling around that finally pushed his buttons?), but the rest was LOL! Loved Niles scratching her back for her & Max's face when he turned around in the motel room. Poor babies! For a minute there, I thought he might have an elephant gun in his pocket, but alas, it was only a cucumber! ;-)
Bravo! Seems as we enter the second half of the seaason things will be getting much better. I think Max's behavior seemed to come out of nowhere, but after seeing Niagra Falls --- who knows. This episode demonstrated that there is a tremendous amount of comedic situations that can be exploited, even with the leads romantically attached.
Excellent show - I laughed all the way through it ... & finally Max is making a move ( hey we were beginning to think he didn't have it in him ! ). Tell the writers to keep going in the right direction !
I loved this episode!!! It had alot of funny moments, and alot of ROMANCE!!!! What a way to start of 1998! It looks like the rest of the season will be alot better than 97!!!! I can't wait for next week :)
This was the most romantic episode I've seen all year! Max is soooo sexy...especially with his shirt unbuttoned! It's about time he made a move, and I cannot WAIT for more! This is definately the direction the show should be taking. Less with the guest stars, already, and more with the romance.
Fran's tranfiguration after her allergic reaction was amazing! Great show, very romantic. I'm also glad they are showing more of Gracie - the other kids need more time also, miss seeing them 'cause Fran IS supposed to be their nanny.
I'll second everything that reviewer #5 said and add that my resident Niles fan thought Daniel did wonders with his limited amount of thyme on camera!
I have absolutely no complaints about this one!!! I noticed the abrupt change in Maxwell as well, however I got to thinking that maybe it was the fact that it had been Fran who had asked him out this time and she wasn't putting pressure on him to ask her or for him to make the first move.... I don't know.... all I know is that I loved this ep! This goes down as one of my favourites for sure!!!!
I thought that this show was great!!! There was enough romance to satisfy everyone and It was really funny!
Yes!!!! Everything worked well in this ep and everyone was in top form!!! I must
give Charles credit, only he could come up with such a face... LOL... LOL. And though Niles
and C.C. had limited time, they used it well. Scott was LOL with his reaction upon seeing
Fran's back! And get me that actress's phone number, the woman playing the nurse was very very
believeable. As for Bolton, I am disappointed, only because he could have sang "When A Man
Loves A Woman" or I don't know... anything but OPERA!!!!
Meanwhile, that undone shirt look on Max is sooo cute and when he pulled his tie off...
Plus that little bit of swallowing half the bottle of breath-fresher, I about died. The tag
scene was fun and tied a loose end that needed it.
Fran was very funny and her usual crazy self to a tea...welcome back Lucy. And that guy at
the pharmacy...LOL.
A few problems: Fran should learn to be honest with Max, if not he should call her on
it. Also, where were the two other kids, we did start out with three didn't we? Here's hoping
for next week!
Who is this new Max? WE LOVE IT. He is finally acting like a real MAN and showing
some desire to go along with his love for Fran. Max telling Fran "Hey wait for me" and yelling
to Niles "put her to bed" were classic lines. We wanted to see why Max finally accepted, they
should have shown Fran asking him out. This is the right direction, but don't move this too
fast...it doesn't make sense to have waited this LONG and then WHAM, consummate the
relationship..
(we have to deal with the issues sometime...)
Great physical comedy with Fran, Max's looks of sheer terror (LOL) and some fantastic Niles/CC
moments.
I suppose we will see future "romantus interruptus" moments from the kids, but that is to be
expected.
Guest star moments were done well, as one more second of Michael Bolten would have been TOO
MUCH.
There are a thousand great stories to be made of Max and Fran finally getting it together...
Here's to a thousand more episodes of The Nanny!
This episode is definitely one of my favorites!! It was one of the funniest and most romantic episodes!! Really looking forward to next week!

Our responses (15) gave the episode a 8.6 overall, a 8.4 for the comedy, and a 8.3 for romance. Some comments received were:
I'm in the U.S. but only saw this episode for the first time a couple weeks ago. I have never laughed so hard through a whole episode. I was already dying laughing over Fran's rubbing & scratching againt Maxwell (and everything else in sight) (and "Hey, wait for me!") but the sight of her so huge, sent me over the edge into hysterics. I missed the doctor's comment about cortisone (from laughing) so I was completely shocked when I first saw her.. Fran was at her comedic best and Charlie was just toooooo delicious! Hilarious & sexy! A Hall of Famer. (it was so good, I will overlook Michael Bolton's presence)
I loved this episode. I think it's the best one I've seen this season. It was just sooo funny, especially with Fran trying to scratch herself with everything! Maxwell also seems to have perfected that shocked expression.
Well the kids were missing again. Brighton wasn't in this one at all. Niles and CC also had very few scenes, and as a consequence, there were very few funny lines. However, Maxwell with his shirt undone was everything that was promised and more! YUMMY!
This episode was an absolute crackup. All I can say is great acting. Every single actor/actress. Especially Fran and Charles. The face Charles put on was so funny!!
I thought this was a fairly well rounded episode. Maxwell being so amorous came as a surprise, but not unwelcome. :-) Michael Bolton looked like he just wanted to promote a CD and that was the only bit I thought they should have edited. But it is nice to see "the Nanny" on track and the last scene with Fran having a big butt was a hilarious and funny way to end this week's ep.
I really enjoyed this week's episode! I thought it was fantastic! It had a believable story, it was generally funny and just overall enjoyable. It had just the right mix of comedy and romance and it's one of the those episode that I really want to watch over and over. On the comedy side of things the "rash" thing was hysterical and not at all overdone. It was executed with just the perfect amount of subtlety and that made it VERY funny. The scene with CC and Fran in the drugstore was a scream! There were no boring or unfunny scenes AT all. On the romance side of things this week was GREAT. It was nice to see Maxwell making a REAL move for a change. It made Fran appear more desperate. On the other hand it was great to see Fran ask Max out in the first place. And to top it off Max didn't "take it back" at the end, in fact he wanted to continue! Michael Bolton's appearance was a shameless plug for Sony but it didn't get in the way of the storyline so I didn't mind. The acting was great, particularly on Fran's side of things and she looked GORGEOUS!!! Overall, a really enjoyable show and I hope they keep it up. Straight 9's!
Gee! What a change in Max! (Not that I'm complaining.....wow!) We wanted it... we wanted them to get together - now it's starting to happen! Yay!! Well done to all - it was a great episode. Very enjoyable.
Loved the episode. The best line was "hey wait for me!". I too will overlook the Michael Bolton appearance.
I really loved this ep! :) I thought the entire episode was very funny (although Michael Bolton was not the best choice. However Scott Baio was good). I *LOVED* Max in this ep, he was being so open and it was nice to see him wanting her instead of the usual vice versa. Thought Fran and C.C. in the pharmacy was hilarious too. Most of all, I love the way Fran and Max's relationship is heading. :) A BIG thumbs up from me!
This ep was THE BEST, It had a little bit of everything, great work guys!!!
I just loved the show!! Chalres was sooooooooo hot with his shirt unden, and he was going for it, I love to see the change in him and hope to see more of Chales being romantic and sexy. Great perfomence also by Fran. LOVED IT!!!!!!!

Our responses (32) gave the episode a 8.6 overall, a 7.8 for the comedy, and a 8.4 for romance. Some comments received were:
I don't have to think twice about this one - I LOVED IT! It had everything, LOL humour, sweet romanatic bits (without being gag me with a spoon) and best of all, our old Fran & Max are back! LOVED that she doesn't want him to propose out of guilt & he's not sure he's happy that she let him off the hook! Thank you, thank you, Frank!
I really enjoyed this episode!!! When it ended it left me with a "boy that was a good one" feeling!!! I was glad to see Fran not taking Max soooo seriously, and realizing that he needs to mean it when he proposes!!!
I have to say I am on the fence about this one. While I thought the relationship stuff was very well done, I didn't laugh very much at all. IMO, the show really lacked the Niles/CC factor -- this NEEDS to be restored! So, although I'm sure most fans will rave, I thought it was enjoyable and of good quality, but not what it could have been. 8/10.
I enjoyed this one! It said a lot! This episode showed a lot progress and promise. It showed how Fran has grown as a person who knows what she wants and also showed how seriously she takes her relationship with Max. We also got a glimpse of Max's real feelings for Fran and his feelings about their future together. Best scene of the night, the entire kitchen scene with Fran and Niles. Funniest moment, IMHO, Yetta and her telephone. And it would not surprise me to learn that this one was shown out of taping sequence.
Ohmigosh! This has to be the BEST episode this season. It was by far the most serious. I think Charles did an excellent job portraying the serious side of Maxwell. When he told Fran he couldn't trust her...my heart was breaking with his. You could see his pain. AND THE ENDING!!! Yea! Now he's starting to realize just what he wants, and what they BOTH need! Keep it up! This episode is what makes "The Nanny", "The Nanny"!!!
I really liked this show. I especially liked the part at the end, between Fran and Max when it was more serious. I can't wait untill next week's ep. ( I always say that.. go figure ..) well anyways, I can't WAIT untill Fran and Max FINALLY get together.. I just PRAY that CBS won't pull TN off the air, like ABC did when tony and angela got together on "Whos the Boss"... OY .. I don't even want to THINK ABOUT It.. see ya next week.
LOVED the big "Lucy" like physical comedy in this one, reminded of those zany old Nanny's a few seasons back. Cheers to Frank Lombardi for Maxwell's final admission to Niles that he's ready to take the plunge! I smell a ring coming soon!
Good episode. Maxwell finally found out about HIS feelings, I didn't think he was very excited about the proposal until after Fran said no. And Fran was really mature, too. The comedy I also liked, yes, it was very good! Next week, I cannot wait!
Thanks, Frank! A very enjoyable outing this week. I sat in shock, so happy that they have remembered how to deal with issues, and we got an episode that had a tone very much like "An Affair to Dismember." A good thing, IMHO. Here's hoping this trend continues!! (And I gotta lead the Nigel fan club and lobby for his return to deal with THAT little loose end sometime!)
Another quality episode - good work writers & excellent acting Fran & Charles. I liked the kind of confused "reality setting in" look between "Max" & "Miss Fine" in the kitchen after his proposal. Nice touch.
Really enjoyed this one. It was well balanced, there was some drama, some of the issues came up and dealt with believably. Definitely the best one of the season so far, in my opinion! I'm happy to see things back on track and hope they'll stay that way!!!
Thanks to Frank for dealing with a real issue in the fans' minds, that these two should end up together because it's a good, natural conclusion, not because Fran tricks Maxwell into it. Loved Yetta and the telephone, and when Maggie and Grace spit out the chocolate. I was really impressed with the way the three actors handled the serious scene at the end, it wasn't overdone, it was just perfect, it showed the caring side of each of them. Daniel Davis is tremendous, Fran impressed me too. PLEASE, more, more, more like this!!
This ep had it all!!!!! Definately one of the best if not the best of the season......... I have to mention that ABC, to my knowledge, had decided to end WTB? before their last season started, they finally got Tony and Angela together because they knew the show was ending anyway. There are still a lot of places the writers at the Nanny can take these characters!!!! even if Fran and Max are together and after last nights show I can't wait to see where they do!! I liked the idea of bringing back Nigel!!!!! So here's hoping for many more wonderful seasons!!! PS. did anyone see ET right before the nanny, that Cindy Adams said that there will be an engagement coming up and a wedding in the future!!!!!! Can't wait for next week!!!
Great Episode!! I really enjoyed the serious parts with Fran and Maxwell. I'm also glad that Fran wants to wait until Maxwell is serious about wanting to marry her because he loves her and not rush into marriage!! I am really looking forward to next weeks episode!!
Outstanding episode!! Bravo to the writers, and especially to Fran and Charles. It was serious without being boring, romantic without being mushy, and funny without being tiring. I'm glad we're finally getting a glimpse at how Max and Fran REALLY feel about each other, and it's amazing how much emotion Charles can put into a performance. I just with the Emmys would quit overlooking him. My favorite part was at the very end, when Max told Niles he wasn't sure if he wanted to get out of the engagement. I just couldn't stop thinking about the look on his face when Fran told him she didn't take the proposal seriously. I didn't even mind the guest stars this week because the rest of the show was so excellent. Well done all around!
Maxwell should propose to Fran as soon as possible and they should become an official couple going out on dates. After all, we waited 5 long years for it.So get on with it !!!!!!!!
I sort of liked the ending. Just can't wait until they finally get together.
This episode was wonderfully written and acted by everyone and showed new elements of Fran and Max's relationship. There were no really passionate kisses or lusty moments, which was good, because the emotion was there. You can tell by some of the things Maxwell said that he really loves Fran...
WOW, I was blown away...This is the first real progress we have seen, in some time, for Max and Fran; dealing with the most basic issues in their relationship, love and trust. It was real and dramatic, without being overdone. The comedy was superb, I felt like I was transported to The Nanny's of yesteryear, witty, entertaining, intelligent, and just plain FUN! Having me literally on the edge of my seat (twice) was a treat. Now all we need to do is intermix some more about the kids (where is Brighton's girlfriend? why hasn't he "stolen" the Porsche? does Maggie have a life at college? does Gracie have any friends?)...keep moving Max and Fran forward... And let Niles spend thyme adding a little spice to CC ;-) and we have the makings for the BEST season yet! I'm plotzing, let's see more like this one!
While I thought that somethings were funny, I sometimes get the feeling that I'm watching a modern version of I Love Lucy with Maxwell as Ricky Ricardo and Fran as Lucy. I most enjoyed Sylvia trying to go on a diet.
Three words, "I LOVED IT!" This ep had it all. It was funny but more, so very dramatic! My heart was broken when he said he couldn't trust her. I almost cried. For once I can't blame him. She sure does have a big mouth! The other dramatic scene was the kitchen scene at the end. Now we KNOW that OUR little boy is growing up. (Emotionally) I have one problem. She blabbed so he blabbed and they can still trust each other? I guess forgiveness is a big part of a relationship too. After all these years I'm glad they can forgive and forget. Poor Max. I felt so bad for him. I agree with whoever said they look over Max for an Emmy every year! Maybe we should invent our own category. Sexy Sidekick!!! Ha ha. He definately deserves something. I guess his days on "Days" are really paying off! Can't wait for next week! This ep is a classic example of the Nanny, even if there wasn't enought Niles and C.C.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Our responses (20) gave the episode a 8.3 overall, a 7.8 for the comedy, and a 7.8 for romance. Some comments received were:
Come on Aussies, I'm the first one here. Any way, all in all I thought this ep. was pretty good, not great though. I'm angry at Max (which I hate doing because I like him too much but....) She does something to damage his trust and the relationship is over, then when it suits him it's on???? what is that all about? I agree Fran shouldn't have said anything but.... Also, proposing just to save his own hide....didn't really like that either. Good move Fran, turning him down, show him that you're not desperate (hmmm) Other than that, thought the humour was top notch, especially Silvia, Yetta and co. keep it up!
I REALLY liked this one! Everything was right, IMHO... it was genuinely funny, the bit where Max told Fran that they couldn't have a relationship & and the end bit were really wonderful...it was just GREAT! NO complaints at all...I can't wait for the next three eps, where everything escalates!
There was so much happening in this episode. There were plenty of serious scenes, which was fantastic. But during the lighter scenes, I didn't find myself laughing too much. There was the usual great, fantastic, fabulous performance from Daniel Davis (in the few scenes he was in) and the bits with Sylvia (esp. in the kitchen, the diet thing!) were also enjoyable. Many touching moments; my fav was again with Daniel and Fran in the kitchen. The ending was a nice change from the norm. Overall, really interesting ep - looking forward to the next couple!!
finally they're getting married... R THEY REALLY??
LOL!!! That this episode was a hoot. Made me sad about the part when Maxwell told her they couldn't have a relationship anymore based on trust...
Wow. WOW. Okay, the plot didn't progress quite as smoothly as I would have liked but WOW. I still gave it straight tens. It had several heart-stopping moments. The whole scene where Max is watching Cindy Adams on the tv and Fran is running was such a RIOT! That was soooo Nannyish. The fact that Max said the only thing that could hurt him was Fran (how come she didn't pick that up?) and that he couldn't trust her - heartwrenching! And the whole scene at the end - Niles and Fran in the kitchen, and Fran not wanting a proposal from Maxwell out of guilt - heartwarming. But now I'm babbling... I feel that Fran D and Charles S were at their best last night and gave a simply consummate performance. Bravo!
I don't know why but I really didn't like this one. It wasn't the nanny that I have come to know...Once again the guest star spoiled it. The only funny bits were the one scene with Niles and CC, and Yetta, once again halarious. Other then that I think it was a dumb episode it didn't make me laugh very much.
This was "ok". Not too great (certainly nothing on last weeks) but not too bad. It had its momments (all those scenes with Fran and Max on the "trust" issue were good but not highly rated on the comedy side). Overall, not too much to say really. Absence of the kids was noticable. Fairly enjoyable but not too crash hot..
This has to be one of the best eps. The greatests parts were the serious one. When Max said he could not trust Fran and that she was the only one who could hurt him was a great touch. We really got to see how much he cares about Fran. Also when he proposed and Fran tried to make it look like a joke, you could see that Max was really hurt that she turned him down the way she did. We also saw how Fran has come a long way and has matured greatly. The comedy was great with Sylvia and her diet. Also Niles and his satelite was really funny. This episode gets a ten because of its meaningful parts.
I loved the: MAX: "Marry Me?" FRAN: "IT WAS YOU?!?!?!?"
Pretty good episode, no complaints really... I loved the bit where Max said (something like), "This time I'm not sure that's what I wanted." I just went, WOO-HOO!!
Well it was another great ep from the crew! I loved it when Max said "Yes, but I'm not quite sure I wanted to" it just broke my heart, and I carn't wait until he really does ask her! I am in love with Charles he is sooooooo cute! I am sooooo jealous of his wife! Well I thought it was a great performence from Charles and Fran! Well done guy's!
