![]() He may belong to you in every other room of this house but in this room, he is mine. | After Sammy (Ray Charles) convinces Fran that his nephew Irwin (Coolio) is a brilliant rap artist, she secures Irwin an audition for a starring role in Maxwell's new urban rap musical. Much to her dismay, Fran discovers upon meeting "rapper" Irwin that he is actually a gift wrapper -- and a total nerd. To prevent Maxwell from blowing his top, Fran concocts a make-over scheme to change Irwin from a hopeless dork into a very bad rapper. Written by: Jayne Hamil. Our responses (48) gave the episode a 8.0 overall, a 8.0 for the comedy, and a 8.3 for romance. Some comments received were:
I just LOVED THIS EP!!!!!!!!! It was so great, and it had it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only thing, "Mr. Sheffield doesn't want me working..." but, who cares??? It was sooo great!! And also, good thing what they did with CC, good and believable way to excuse the birth.
Loved it!!!
charles was soooo cute -No BABY...- it was a great ep. Really funny but need some good kisses. like i said charles was gorgeous as always and getting better good looking each week, i just love him!!! cc was FUNNY that crazy face she put was lol.
I was so affected by C.C. losing it finally. And by Niles' concern. The Coolio thing was done very well, and I thought this was much funnier than last week's ep! Good show!
This ep. was cute and entertaining but very weak on plot. I was also gagging over Fran and Max's mush-fest. SUBTLETY, please! I thought the Niles/CC stuff was OK but Niles was too over the top tonight. The whole thing was just a bit too forced for my taste. My favorite scene was the transformation of Coolio from wrapper to rapper and Niles' sulking over CC's absence. 6/10
It just keeps getting better! If this is our reward for living through "The Thing", I guess it was worth the effort (maybe!) I don't know whether it was the affection in the opening scene or the mental picture of Charles Nelson Reilly and Rip Taylor doing a reading of "Love Letters", but this one had me hooked early on. Too bad about the fringe Niles and CC fans who objected to CC being committed as the gimmick to cover Lauren's maternity leave... while they spent the evening boycotting and ranting in every public forum they could find, the rest of us saw a hilarious premise and wonderful execution by both Davis and Lane. Keep 'em coming!
Fran & Max were really good together this episode - romantic, but not so sweet that I wanted to wretch. :-) Favorite line: Fran: "You're so busy deciding who gets my room - where am I supposed to sleep?" Gracie: "Well, Fran, once you're married, you'll move in with Daddy." Fran: "Oh-my-God! This just keeps gettin' betta & betta!" LOL! The rest of the episode could have been funnier, tho'. I wasn't very impressed with Coolio, & I missed CC's twitch! But I like the idea that Fran wants to be "the woman behind the man!" As Niles so aptly put it:"You go, girl!"
I enjoyed this show and really like the way the writers are working the changes into the show. I hope, however, that they will "cure" CC of her unrequited love in Maxwell and work on her life outside of the house. Maybe Fran can play matchmaker, with the ultimate winner Niles, of course.
Very funny episode. Love the way Max is finally showing his true love for Fran. Thought it was great that even though Fran messed things up again, she was able to fix all and come out smelling like a rose at the end. I love the kissing scenes, it really shows their love for one another. Those scenes are very "cute", however, something more romantic would be nice since they are now engaged. Overall, a great show. I laughed the whole time. Can't wait for the wedding to finally happen. To all the writers, keep up the good work.
I don't think Charles could get any better looking. Loved the intro. I think they should have Martin Short come in as the wedding coordinator from Father of The Bride, that could be hilarious.
Good show. The scene where C.C. asks if she can go to the wedding with Maxwell & his attempt at explaining why not was hilarious. Sylvia not wanting doves "because there's no meat on them" was pretty funny too. I also liked the building "lust" between Max & Fran (... honeymoon in the Carribean & we won't come out of our suite for 36 hours...) Nice touch of realism - considering these are two "consenting adults" who haven't yet "consented" !
the episode was great! i just love the mushy stuff between fran and max. we need some better kisses though and we're still waiting to hear fran say "i love you". also loved how niles sulked without c.c.around.
Actually, this episode was better than I expected-- I had assumed it would just be a filler for the season. I would have liked to see more interaction between Fran and Maxwell as they planned for and anticipated their wedding-- I did wonder how they were sending out invitations for a wedding when the engagement has just been announced. Still, their scenes had some love, humor and warmth-- not too overdone-- and introduced a real issue about the kind of wife Fran wants to and will be. As a set up for engineering Lauren's maternity leave, this worked pretty well. C.C. might have been able to handle Maxwell marrying Fran, but not her own displacement by Fran as a kind of consultant/adviser to Max. I agree with an earlier post that Niles' part generally wasn't as good, although his hang dog mood without his "master" points out potential for the Niles-C.C. bond in the future. All in all, a pleasant surprise!
I thought this was a very good episode.
Well, I've been dreading the C.C. situation just like I was hesitant about what they were going to do to Niles last season, but I thought they handled it beautifully (yes, I am one of the "fringe" Niles/C.C. fans). Now let's just hope the writers get over this problem with CONSISTENCY (or should I say lack thereof)!!!!! Niles was depressed without her -- will that be the case until she comes back and something develops (Rick Shaw if you are out there please help)? Also, I put the closed caption on my TV when Niles was talking to the Doctor and it said "Dr. Balk" - but I could swear he said "Dr. Borg". What do you guys think? Was that another Star Trek plug? LONG LIVE MORIARTY!!!! Great show overall (Ray Charles was adorable). [Webmaster's note: C.C.'s doctor's name (and Gracie's as well) is Dr. Bort--though it sounded like he said Borg to me too. And I don't believe the previous poster was refering to Niles and C.C. fans in general. Some of our best friends are Niles and C.C. fans! ;-)]
Great to see triumph once again (esp. over C.C.). Seeing her & Max yell & chase reminds me of the old days (which makes you wonder just how long HAS Max been hiding his true feelings?!). Sylvia's advice to Fran about the woman behind the man was the best she's ever given, and the wedding coordinator was hysterical- actually the whole episode. I haven't laughed that much in a long time. My only complaint is there were not enough scenes with JUST Fran & Max to suit me, but the scenes they did share were great- esp. flirting around the office.
The story about the "Wrapper" was too predictable and unbelievable. You have such a talented cast, I wish you would hold back on the guest stars and let them do their thing (though I have to admit I love Ray Charles as Yetta's fiance'). I loved the scenes where Fran and Max patronized each other. They are so cute together. I would have loved to see more wedding planning with Fran and her mom than Fran teaching Irwin how to rap.
Overall, I felt this was a really solid episode! It had memories of past Nanny's with all the trimmings. I love the way the writers and director are handling the transformation of Max/Fran from giddy in love to actual couple in love. (I do miss the occasional flirting though!). As for the comedy - A1 in my book. I think I have a three way tie for ROTFL - When they stole Yetta's clothes, when Max chased Fran out of his office and when Gracie and Niles were arm restling for Fran's room. What great fun! As for the story, I love the way they are trying to establishing a married/working relationship with Max/Fran BEFORE they get married. I see lots of stories spinning off from the idea of Fran "helping" Maxwell with his business. I can see how the foggy crystal ball is clearing for the walk down the aisle, but don't want to put my ideas down for fear of being waaaaayy off base, but I will say that I have a theory about the "skeletons in everyone's closets" remarks that keep popping into the cast's latest interviews. Oh yeah, and is it just me or do Fran and Max look way too good together. Congrats to Charles and Fran for pulling off a great bit of acting. Each week they are very convincing regarding being in "love". If I didn't know better (which I do), I'd think they weren't acting. Again, really great episode -- I look forward to CC returning right before the wedding, should be GREAT watching her deal with everything.
The facination with watching the show now is seeing Maxwell comitted to Fran. We've wanted it for so long that now it is hard to believe. Fran doesn't seem to accept it either, but at least she keeps trying. The line about "Wait till you see the Mother!" was a hoot. I liked the wedding co-ordinator, he brought a lot of energy to the role. Poor C.C., I look forward to her return --looking svelte and with an attitude.
I want to be completely honest...I thought it was a tad dry...the romance was not there, and although I do not care for "rap" music, the comedy aspects of the show was lost...I did however enjoy C.C. and Niles as always, and will miss C.C. very much till she returns!!!
it was great and I realy want that they get married and have a child of course if the show continue because if the show need that they dont get married for that it not end I prefer that they not get married.
Another winner!!! I was expecting a boring filler, but this was neither filler nor
boring! There were some really good one liners including: Maxwell: Yes, dear, but your income
always came out of my income.; Sammy: Wait until you meet the mother.; Maxwell (again, he was
on fire): I say we honeymoon in the Carribean and don't leave our room for 36 hours.; and
Niles: Well you finally went "crackers".
On top of it all was these scary wedding plans! My only question is does Max get to see
them before all of Fran's "challenges" get paid for? The romance was convining and the use of
"Miss Fine", when Max was mad at Fran was just plain fun. The writers are so far keeping their
promise of returning to the first few seasons of chase scenes and the ever amazing Fran:
capibly of getting herself into big trouble with a single family tree and then somehow being
able to save Maxwell's business, before the day is out. You go, girl!!! Thank you to all the
staff and keep it going.
OK, this one grew on me, like Coolio's hair...I wasn't sure about it at first, but
you gotta like the originality. I loved the pun, (gifted rapper/wrapper).
This seemed too contrived at first, but this gave a chance for Fran and Max to react in the
real world, and guess what Max, Fran is still Fran. We see progression in him accepting this
(reluctantly). The patronizing scenes were fun to watch. Lots of affection and sarcasm; we
can have even more fun with Max and Fran together!! ...just keep the level of passion up where
it should be...and let us in on the wedding plans.
Excellent job by Ray Charles in this one as well.
Now what happened to CC was a little mean. They should have had her start drinking and end up
at Betty Ford or something, not go crazy. That would have been more in character. We welcome
CC's return, and there is Niles/CC hope with Niles being depressed already.
Everyone arguing over Fran's room was also great! "...this just gets better and better"
Although how can those two stay apart and live in the same house? (oh yes, we have to set a
good example for the children).
Basically, another fun episode. I just still want more and better promotion by CBS for our
Nanny! Martin Short would have made a great wedding coordinator! Maybe he could
show up somehow??

Our responses (11) gave the episode a 8.5 overall, a 8.5 for the comedy, and a 8.2 for romance. Some comments received were:
Great episode, but a few more passionate kisses between Fran and Max wouldn't hurt!
Good ep. Not too mushy stuff and getting back to the way TN used to be.
I thought this ep was going to be a bit on the iffy side.... but I loved it! I found Coolio really entertaining - this is from a person who doesn't like rap! Reg cast was fab as usual!
Well, it's good to see that we can still have good nanny-ism episodes, even when Max and Fran are engaged. I think the ep was pretty good, though after the last 3 or 4 brilliant episodes, it probably didn't feel as good as it really was. Still, I enjoyed it thoroughly. I'm not a particular fan of Coolio, but I thought he was great!
this was a great episode, i loved the way coolio had acted. I also loved the way fran and maxwell were really acting like a engaged couple, but I think it was good how they didn't changed everything, like when max found out about irwin he yelled "miss fine". I just can't wait for next weeks episode, it sounds like a good one.
Quite a good episode. My only gripe is that I want to see some real passion, not only these little 'catchy kisses'. They are engaged after all. Loved how Fran has abandoned her usual perch on the desk for Max's lap and how for once Max initiated some of the 'tender' moments. After "Rash to Judgement" I've been hanging out to see Max act like a man in love. I hope to see more use of the kids in future episodes, there was hardly anything of them in this one.
It was GREAT, Coolio was such a good actor. Great ep! Heaps of ROMANCE!!!! Baby!!
Nice episode ! I loved C.C.'s "Okay!" And that look our lovebirds threw one another after Maxwell went "Are you patronizing me?" - WOW... My heart melted!!
![]() He doesn't wanna have a baaabbby. Where is he? I'll kill him! | After attending her high school reunion, Fran questions her decision to marry Maxwell. Ray Romano guest stars as Ray Barone, his "Everybody Loves Raymond" character, in the episode, which marks a real life reunion for him and "Nanny" star Fran Drescher, who attended Hillcrest High School together in Queens N.Y. Fran and Val attend the reunion and see a variety of their old friends, including the popular class clown Barone. When Fran discovers that the female friends who she thought were happily married are now divorced and bitter, she begins to worry about her recent engagement to Maxwell. Fran confronts Maxwell with her concerns about marriage and they get in their first fight as an engaged couple -- until they master the art of compromise and realize it's much more fun to kiss and make up. Dorothy Lyman directed it from a script by Suzanne Gangursky and Sean Hanley. Himself: Ray Romano, Naomi Dembo: Leila Kenzle, Dotty: Dee Dee Rescher, Mary Ann: Faryn Einhorn |
Our responses (43) gave the episode a 7.9 overall, a 7.4 for the comedy, and a 7.7 for romance. Some comments received were:
Another AWESOME script!! They are really pulling out all the stops, now! Great comedy, fantastic use of the kids, & realistic romance! ( Not to mention Charlie in a towel!! ) One of the best this season.
Another zzzzzzzzz filler. Bad script -- almost no laughs. Niles' CC cake was the only thing that made me LOL all night. These fringe writers have got to go. The concept and idea of Fran and Max discussing having children was a good one but it just wasn't handled right. The best scene was Max and Niles in the office. Everything else seemed stuck together with no development; they just tried to do too much. The whole reunion thing seemed like a ploy to have Ray Romano guest, as if that were a ratings coup. Not. And we're back to the kissy-face, show-us-some-skin mode for Fran/Max, which is again making my stomach turn. Let's get some class and a good script -- see Dinner Party.
I found this episode very refreshing. I loved the interaction amongst the characters, specifically Maxwell confiding in Niles about the baby issue with Fran. I LOVED the CC cake--how hysterical was that! What an artist Niles is! :-) The whole show was funny, and although I'm going through CC withdrawal as much as Niles is, I thoroughly enjoyed this episode and commend the writers and cast for making the chemistry between them so good, making the show realistic, and for just doing a darn good job! Kudos!
Not funny at all hardly any romance, a little bit of a waste.
Another winner in my book. Real romance is learning to get along and deciding which show to watch at night--whether it be Nightline or TV Land! I think this one (and last week too) have been a glimpse of the future, very much written as a married couple.
It appears that this show has some new life! A spark! Shades of the first three seasons! Keep up the good work!
This show was OK but the writing was a little "too cute" for me. The Niles/"CC is nuts" banter even seemed a little forced at times. And I think one bedroom scene with the girls would have been sufficient. I doubt that at this point she would start forcing things as much as they made out. I mean last week she's worried that one false move and the engagement's off and this week she's showing off his bedroom...uh..I don't think so folks!I know they want to show the whole picture of marriage but the reunion lacked comedy and it seems like CBS is pushing new shows on any one that has an audience. This one seemed forced to me but everyone has an off day. Does anyone notice that now she's engaged it seems to be all jeans at home?
I liked the show especially the cc cake and the use of the kids in the script. Also was glad to see Fran and Max work out their differences without getting into a really huge argument. I agree they are acting more like a married couple in the last two episodes.
I may stand alone in this, but I didn't like this episode. It seemed choppy, not its usual smooth flow. It wasn't funny, the gags seemed forced.
Interesting episode - had an entirely different feel to it. The exploration of the different expectations that the characters of Fran & Max had about marriage was quite realistic - obviously a couple had better discuss large issues like whether or not to have kids ( & a few smaller ones like who gets what side of the bed). I liked the show overall - sure it wasn't as "slapstick funny"as some but I think the changes will allow a better understanding of the charcters actions in future episodes. (On a purely humourous level - it was amusing to have Fran , Slyvia & Val keep showing up in Max's bedroom much to his horror & yes ... like most of you - I have to admit that Charles in a towel wasn't hard to take ) Don't worry guys - the show isn't losing anything - it's gaining more depth to base new plots on. (Hopefully for a few more years ! )
Loved the scenes at the beginning and at the end in Max's bedroom. The expressions on their faces were priceless. They really do look like they are madly in love. Love the way they are building to the wedding by covering situations each week that occur when you are engaged. Would love to see some real romance instead of the cutesy kissing scenes. At times, they act as if they already are an "old" married couple. Liked the fact that they already had their first fight and even better that they also made up and it didn't carry over to another week. Overall, an above average episode, but not as good as "The Dinner Party". Still waiting for Fran to say "I Love You" and of course can't wait for the wedding and the honeymoon.
While I ejoyed the show. Had to get my weekly fix. I find that this kissy face is getting to be a bit much for adults of their age. No, I am not suggesting the final step. But I mean really, they are in love, no "contact" with anyone for five years or more, live in the same house and nobody finds tension there! I am enjoying that they are not dragging this wedding out and the all of the cast is involved. But, does her Mother have to be there all the time. I am waiting for future seasons.
Loved Charles in the towel!!!!!! It was a very cute episode even though I think the reunion show was a little bit staged as a plug. I would think that Max and Fran should have had a few of these serious discussions within the next few weeks I wonder how they're going to handle the religious differences. Charles said in an article I read that they're going to do a whole bunch of stuff about their differences.
I liked the show this week, it was consistent with the characters and it showed us how they're mentally preparing for marriage. I really like the tag scene that proved Max had really listened to Fran, since his Picture-in-Picture TV was already programmed with Nightline and TV Land. I'm getting a little tired of the cutsey-kisses, how about a little lust? These two are engaged, and live in the same house!!! We only have a few more episodes left this season, so we'll see what happens. Can't wait for C.C. to come back, I wonder how the wedding will affect her? Maybe she'll be part of the cliff-hanger?
I thought the episode had alot of spark!!! Although the romance was not there...I watched it again, and think I have figured out the 80 something sign, only 2 80 classes are celebrating this year, 83 and 88. So 83 is my best guess!!! I really missed C.C. terribly, but I loved the cake, and the line, "Full of rum, just like the original!" LOL!!! Also observed Fran is wearing jeans again!!! I liked the show, it wasn't a 10, but I enjoyed myself as always watching it!!!
I was disappointed with this episode. It was nice to know that Fran D. and Ray R. have both succeeded on network t.v., but the reunion between them was flat and unnecessary to a Nanny plot. I thought the bedroom scenes were uncomfortable, and annoying. The one redeeming scene was when Maxwell realized why Fran would want to have children--so they would be bound together as a couple. Yes, get Fran into something other than jeans!
I was on the fence on this one. I enjoyed much of the Fran / Max interaction...I didn't find it too terribly "cutesy" and it was sprinkled with a fair amount of "romance".... I too thought the show choppy...the reunion was underplayed...just a guest star stunt. Also, as much as I enjoyed the baby discussion, I didn't find it very realistic...it seems to me that earlier this season Max acknowledged that Fran's goals were to get married and have children, so this shouldn't have been news to him! I also like the fact that Fran can poke fun at herself...is there some trait that Max wouldn't want to see passed on to their children, said in that Fran Fine voice;-)
I thought this episode was very well written. True, there was a lot going on, but Fran & Max have a lot of issues to deal with & it would be ridiculous if they didn't start surfacing before the wedding. Loved that they touched on not only whether they should have children together, but also their very marked differences - the fact that he likes "Nightline" while she prefers "TV Land" really sums it up. Also, I thought there were plenty of LOL moments. The kids actually had real parts & they were a riot! Niles reminding Max that he was always the one that wound up with the diapers & the 4am feedings! Sylvia, Val & Fran in Max's bedroom watching "Mr. Ed," and not knowing who Madeline Albright was! Looking forward to more storylines like this!
This episode was a so-so for me. Had it's moments, but not quite what I was expecting. Don't get me wrong, I liked it! Especially the fights between Fran and Max that were so good, those were real issues from a real couple. Ah, and I also liked Niles' cake, and give CC some "normacy".
Another perfect show! I really loved this one. The guest cameo with Ray was
appropriate and not overdone. The entire family is getting involved in the wedding (finally).
We are getting reactions, feelings, and concerns from everyone. Lots of romantic moments
between Max and Fran, those two just make you feel great! We are seeing the wonderful
possiblilities for comedy after the wedding; argue, kiss, and makeup works for me.
From Gracie's real concerns to Niles cleverly convincing Max to have a baby, this show really
clicked for me. Fran is beginning to show us her old self, relaxed in jeans.
From the beginning I was hooked. I was laughing so hard at Val's Ken doll remark, I did not
even notice Max in the bedroom. Very clever intro. Sylvia and Fran, were the FUNNIEST ever in
the kitchen with Fran whining about the baby and Sylvia's "I'll kill him". I was all,
literally, rolling on the floor. Even Brighton had some really funny lines "..ok, call me!"
Let us see more like this one. Use and develop all the characters, they all have so much
potential. Tonites show demonstrated why Everybody Really Loves The Nanny!
Improved from the last couple of episodes. I enjoyed the way Gracie was over reacting.
This episode had it's moments (Max: My place has been on the left side of the bed for 40 yrs. Fran: Well it's been my place for.. Oh! Nice try!) but wasn't as funny as the one before. Niles really needs C.C. The "cutesy kissing scenes" (not my term) are really sweet, and while it's true something a little more romantic would be nice, in their defense, with the kids, Niles, and Sylvia always around, they don't have much of a chance!
Well, I did love this episode, but I had a few problems with it. The beginning part was
great (Max compared to Ken and so does that make Fran, Barbie?) up until the towel stuff. It
was just a bit scary and I like him in that black robe a lot more. The reunion was cute, but I
would have prefered to have seen Maxwell go with her. The camp reunion in the second season
was just so much better!!! The fight seasons were great----ISSUES, ISSUES, ISSUES!!! I also
liked the fact that Niles really misses C.C., but something tells me when she comes home trim
and thin, she's going to make him EAT that card.
Max and Fran making up was nice, but too
fast. What happened to the days when they could insult each other (Fran: I know you'd miss
me.
Max: Yes, well, what would I miss most? Sitting on your Dazy Raser everytime I step into the
tub or having to reset my treadmill every morning after you've set it to shlep? LATER,
Fran: You wouldn't last a week without me!
Max: You think I'm incapable of putting three children to sleep?
Fran: Not at all, just putting in the front row of your new show!)
I liked the childs involvement and the fact that both Fran and Max have no intention of
forgetting them. The tag scene I liked, except for one thing. They ended it with Max lying in
bed and Fran kissing him. It makes one question what would happen if they had continued with
the scene. Here's hopin' for next week.
While I agree with earlier posts that this episode wasn't that funny and that the reunion scenes with Ray Romano were flat, I still liked the fact that the episode dealt with an issue that Fran and Maxwell really had to confront. One of the chief bonds they share is their love for Maggie, Brighton and Grace-- and the kids' parts and responses seemed realistically and well handled. I'm with those who think that the portrayal of Fran's and Max's relationship seems too quickly too settled and pat, not deep and powerful enough-- partly the result of crowding too many characters, scenes and issues into an episode. I'd love to see an episode where Fran and Max are alone for a day-- interesting to speculate about what they'd do, what they'd say to each other. The best part of this show was the office scene between Max and Niles-- I loved the line about Niles being unable to function without "me muse." Still, I think there's a lot of potential for the show with the relationship and the characters and the new life after marriage-- let's hope CBS agrees.
I thought the scene in the bedroom with Max in the towel was priceless. I thought he would have been more annoyed, though. I, too, am getting a little tired of the kissy face. Even if they got a little randy and kept getting interrupted, it could be really funny - and realistic since there are so many people in the house. Also, I'd like to see Fran teach Max to show more affection to his children on a regular basis. He hardly speaks to them. Anyway, I am looking forward to next week's segment already.
It is so wonderfully refreshing that The Nanny is not one of those shows where people are hopping into bed with one another. I'm glad that the writers have a sense of decency, considering that many viewers of this show are children. KUDOS for trying to keep a sense of morality within this show.
I really enjoyed this ep! It is still hard for me to comprehend the fact that Fran and Max are a couple, but I love it! The show is more like it used to be in the 2nd and 3rd season, which is when it was it's best! I think now that Fran is not focused on getting Maxwell(now that she has him), the interaction between Fran and the rest of the cast is much more enjoyable, she's back to her old self. I also want to commend the producers of TN by making Fran and Max's relationship moral and having them wait until they are married before having sex. You have to remember they are setting an example for the kids in the house and well as children and adults across the world.
After reading through the comments, there's really nothing for me to say that hasn't been said already.....But I am in total agreement with all those who are getting sick of the sappy stuff and want real romance!.....It seems as if there was more chemisty between them before they got engaged......well, the season's not over yet..........
I'm sorry other people didn't like this episode, I thought it was one of the funniest I've seen this season. Of course, things get wrapped up in nice little packages a little too quickly, but this isn't real life -- after all, they only have 22 minutes to deal with real issues. And I don't think the romance is lacking, either. It's just not blatant, it's more subtle.

Our responses (9) gave the episode a 7.3 overall, a 7.3 for the comedy, and a 6.6 for romance. Some comments received were:
Well, I wasn't terribly excited about this week's show, but I still gave it an 8 overall because it did deal with a very important issue. I love the way Niles deals with Max! Also love the cake!
Straight 7s. Some parts were great and some rather dull. After the past few weeks it didn't really compare. Loved the 'missing CC' Niles, even though he wouldn't admit it and the 2 scenes in the bedroom. Max really doesn't know what is going to hit him, does he? The coaster from the White House was a cute touch, too.
Well I can not say that i really enjoyed the ep, but max in a towel, wow.
Not too bad. I thought the episode could have done without the guest star, but otherwise!!
As much as I love the show the kids seem to be appearing less and less. I would love to see more storylines related to them too. There all such great characters and their is a lot of focus on Fran and Max at the moment, which isn't bad but a little unbalanced.
