Sixth Season Episode Guide
Dr. Reynold's sister is covering for her while she is away and she recommends Fran and Max care for a pair of life-like dolls to simulate what it will be like to be the parents of twins. Meanwhile, C.C., shocked by Niles' sudden proposal, turns him down flat. Maxwell forbids Fran to get involved any further, but, well... you can picture about how THAT goes. Niles is convinced to try once more with C.C. This time, she not only turns him down, but gets the proposal on tape, to torture him forever. Niles quits, refusing to work in the same house as C.C., but not before engaging in a big showdown. Directed by Steve Posner. Written by Ivan Menchell. Story by: Rachel Chagall, Harriet Goldman, Camelia Kath and Ivan Menchell. Margot: Rita Rudner. |
Our responses (101) gave the episode a 9.4 overall, a 9.2 for the comedy, and a 9.2 for romance.
Some comments received were:
Great ep! SOOOOO very funny C.C."Oh it's just been a dream of mine, to move out of my park-avenue penthouse into his room" LOL. I loved this ep! :-)(-:
I thought this episode was really funny...it really gave us a taste of what it would be like when Fran had the twins...I thought the scene where Niles was pooring is heart out to CC was really emotional...and when CC was quiting the partnership with maxwell was also really emotional..I think it really showed the attraction CC and Niles felt for each other...and the end result was..well u know what it was!=) this is a family show! ;) but overall i really enjoyed this one! great job!
I loved this one!! I was speechless (for once) at what Niles said to C.C. about her hanging around. I loved that part. I also liked it with the dolls!! It was sorta sad. The ending was GREAT!!! Awesome episode!!
It was surprising
It's no right, but it's OK
THIS ONE WAS GREAT!!!!!!!!!! Finally About time!
I'd been hearing for weeks from L.A. area fans who attended this taping that it was an amazing episode. They weren't lying!!! I don't know what other episode I'll bump from my Nanny All-Time Top Ten to fit this one in, but I'm sure I'll think of something. 10's all the way!
What a shocker at the end! My god did they look cute laying there together. I loved it!!! Finally something interresting is happening.
I thought this episode was hilarious
This was most definitely the best episode of the season!!!! It had everything romance, humor, wit, and sincerity. Is it just me or did C.C.'s speech scream Fran Drescher. I had no idea that Lauren could be so dramatic. It takes crafty person to be funny and dramatic it one episode. We all got a taste of how bittersweet love is from both couples. I loved Brighton and Gracie's skit. The entire cast; BRAVTISIMO!!! CAN'T WAIT TILL NEXT WEEK!! They most definitely saved the best for last.
GrEaT I lOvE iT!!! Overall 10. Finally we got some romantics parts again. Good one :)
Bravos to Danny and Lauren for the best dramatic scene in the show's entire run. The rest of the show was so funny, it made that particular scene so real and intense that it nearly brought me to tears. Also kudos to Benjamin and Maddy. Your Niles and CC was wonderful! A special thanks to everyone for a wonderful show!
Holy cow!! THERE'S the Niles I thought we lost the last couple of weeks! That was *hysterical.* Thanks for getting us back on track, Frank Lombardi!
A good episode, even though I'm not a big fan of the Niles/CC thing. The pretend play with B and Gracie was funny and CC's directions to hell had me rolling around. I though Nile's overreacted in some bits, but I supposed that was for dramatic effect or something (but in a sictom?) 8/10
Wonderful episode!! It has everything. Comedy, romance. Niles was great, Max and Fran were fantastic as always, don't need to lose any words about Yetta. I love it!
I saw this about two week's ago and LOVED it! What a powerful ep. Daniel and Lauren have Never, ever been better. They were awesome!! Fran and Charlie were wonderful too. The scene with Brighton and Grace as Niles and Miss Babcock was a riot. This was one of my alltime favorites. :o)
These last few episodes are so great!!!! My favorite episode is Not Without My Nanny, where Max finally tells Fran he loves her. Now this is definitely second best. I couldn't have imagined a better way of CC and Niles finally getting together. I loved the serious moment when Niles confronts CC about her future. More and more I love seeing Fran and Max as a married couple and I think it has been written into the scripts really well this year. I love this show and this episode is one of the reasons why!
They ended up in bed! What a laugh! I also loved Maxwell's: " They are in here, aren't they?" Fran: "No....(Cry)" etc.
It was great! At last, CC and Niles together! The whole episode, with CC torturing
Niles, was hilarious. The best: the scene when CC tries to apologize, Niles yells at her in
frustration, and CC finally realizes he is telling the truth.
BUT WHAT WAS THAT STUPID ENDING? We don't even know what happens between them, and suddenly
they are in bed together? It looks like whoever wrote that episode were so afraid they would
somehow screw up the ultimate CC-Niles scene ( true, it is difficult to go from hate to love in
a believable way) that they just decided not to bother write the scene? Or was the scene cut
afterwards? No matter what happened, there is really a huge gap there, and I feel frustrated as
all hell. Damn, it was such a good episode!
The Show was SUPER!!!!!! how Fran and Max got the feel how twin life was gonna be was FUNNY cuz they really couldn't makelove. and fran kind-of fried Frankey botten.! lol. and when C.C. and Niles ended up in BED WOW!!!!!!!! they are all such a great cast i really hateted to see them go! all of the fans are gonna miss there laugh!! and there great acting WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!! #1fan
What a great show! They just keep getting better and better. The comedy, the romance, the yelling...I loved it! If the writers had only given us this quality for the entire season.....then maybe we WOULD have had a season seven. To all the cast ....kudos for a job incredibly well done!
A Big Fat Juicy 10 across the board on this one! CC was magnificent! That baby and the battery scene was so ROFL and the stairwell scene...WoW, what can I say?! *Riveting* Brighton and Grace were magnificence personified in their 'Niles/CC play'. And of course Fran and Max were fantastic. An episode that will be rewatched over and over again!
Sad to see it end, it was a funny show.
This was a great episode. It would have been nice to see the missing scene between Niles and C.C.'s big fight and the scene with them in bed together, but I guess the episode was from Max and Fran's point of view, not C.C. and Niles'. C.C. had the two best lines - the one about telling the panhandler to go to hell and the line about how her best years had passed and "they sucked" That line made me laugh out loud and broke my heart at the same time.
What can I say? The Nanny at its best. When the four core cast members work this brilliantly together, it's an LOL fest. Great writing doesn't hurt, either ;-) Bravo to all for one of the best episodes of all time. 10/10
i thought it was an amazing episode...imagine if we saw them in order!!!that niles CC thing would have thrown us away!!but i thought the scene with them in bed was funny at the end..i also like the part when max and fran wanted to make love and the dolls kept crying... overall it was great episode
Pretty good. Very funny as usual, but I did not like the big gap between CC leaving and then all of a sudden she is in bed with Niles--way too much was left out there!! And also they didn't even show when Niles and CC went out to dinner--too many gaps!
Pretty good. My favourite line in this episode was where Yetta came out of the bathroom stall and said "Do you have this in a size 6?". When Fran and Max caught Niles and CC in the same bed, I was shocked! I knew it was coming, but I was still shocked.
Belive me seeing Niles and C.C. in bed together was just amazing. A funny thing was that Fran burned the little boy dollīs face. And Yetta thinking that the babies could cook was just cute! Great ep!
LOL the thing with Niles and CC had me falling off the couch (literally!!) This one is definetely a keeper ;o)
Perfect! Niles telling CC off and her reaction. Max and Fran's parenting style's. One of the best episode's of TN. DD is way macho when properly provoked :)
I loved everything about this ep. CC 'don't marry a maid', Niles never forgiving Fran, Max telling Fran to butt out, the Play. I'm glad we don't know how they ended up together....by the way that leaves room for some big 'finish the scene' fics. I just wish there were more eps with Fran and Lauren. Those two are perfect together. CC with baby Karen!!!!!!!!!!!! 'Gee, you're really good with kids' LOL.
The best & most funny ep of the entire 6th season ! My favourite parts included: Max & Fran fighting about the dolls; Fran trying to help Niles & Niles ongoing failures due to his persistant marriage proposals to CC. There was so much to like about this one. Great dialogue , great acting by the entire cast & overall an excellent 1/2 hr of really enjoyable entertainment!
This one was CLASSIC! From Fran peeking over the toilet seat to Brighton & Gracie's play to the final scene where Fran & Max make their fateful discovery, this was CLASSIC! 9's across the board!
LOL! What a GREAT episode! One of the funniest, ever! And yet, full of real feeling, too! Everyone's effort was supreme in this one (loved Brighton & Gracie's "play," Max's fury at Fran's meddling & Fran's LOL efforts to mother the dolls), but Daniel Davis was magnificant. When Niles finally told C.C. off at the end ... I was truely choked up. And her reaction was perfect! God, I'm gonna MISS this show!
Here in Australia we are seeing the eps in the right order and it is great to be able to comment at the same time Great episode up there with best. funny and warm throughout finally the writing is right back on track. Fran & Max brillant as ever and isn't pregnancy a sexy state for Fran, Niles & CC were poignant and funny and Yetta delightful as ever. This quality episode proves that with the right combination of writing and heart there were many more storylines left for this fabulous show and itis just too sad that it is winding up.
This episode was one of the best I have seen in a long time. I loved it. I will really miss this show. (the baby doll idea genius)
Definitely 10's across the board!! This episode was so GREAT and LOL funny that I had to watch it a second time. The entire hour had me laughing from beginning to end. I loved the scenes with Fran and Maxwell. It sort of gave us a glimpse of what it might have been had the series gone on for another season. Niles and C.C. were absolutely GREAT!! These two have such awesome chemistry as does the whole cast. I just wish CBS would have shown them in order. These episodes are soooo good that it would have made the finale that much more enjoyable. This episode is definitely one of my favorites. THANKS TO THE CAST FOR FANTASTIC LAST EPISODES!! I am already missing the show.
C.C. was AWESOME in this ep...in both of them. She was the whole show. Other than that,...they were okay.
I thought this episode was very well done. One LOL moment had to be Fran and Max in bed with the babies. I thought Niles and CC were excellent in this particular episode. Especially the part where Niles tells her where its at. Bravo to Lauren Lane for some incredible acting. I also must agree with another fellow Fan who mentioned this in the above comments that CC's speech molds exactly what Fran Drescher was feeling about her life and about ending the Nanny. In fact if i am not mistaken she uses that same quote in an interview "I've always stayed to long at the fair" The only regret i have about this episode is that we didn't get to see what happens to get Niles and CC back together and in the state that they were found in when Fran and Max opens Nile's door.
I thought this episode was good. Not the best I've seen, but I enjoyed it. I like the fact that C.C. was finally set straight about whats going on. What a cliffhanger! Thank God they went on to the episodes in order! I don't think I would have been able to wait till next week.
Wow! Incredible episode. I , the dramatic actress freak simply loved seeing Danny and lauren given an oppertiuty to use their dramitic talents. Congradulations. I'm only sorry that they were given so few oppertities to shine. thoughout the show. Good Luck all Be dramtic!
Oh my goodness gracious gosh golly! I loved this ep! I didn't tape the first 8 min or so, which included, of course, the play! During Niles' "Profound Thoughts" (Where will YOU be 10, 20 years from now?) I was laughing and crying at the same time. And I loved C.C.'s "The best years of my life have passed and they suck!" or something like that. Rita Rudner is really cool! Those dolls must've been created by the same genius who created the Furby's, huh? Great! 10's across the board!
LOVED IT! I'm a huge Niles and CC fan, so I thought it was great. However, I was
kinda upset about the huge gap in the episode between CC walking out and then ending up where
she ended up
I COULDN'T POSSIBLE come close to expressing how wonderful I thought this show was. It was flawless, seamless, poignant, exciting and fall on the floor funny. I think I still have a buzz from it! It was such a treat to watch the whole cast full blown, especially Daniel Davis. He was so dynamic, so brillant, so butch! Emmy voters were you watching?
I think the ending was a little rushed. It was a bit sudden how the jump from Niles and CC arguing went to them in bed together so quickly....but it was still hilariously funny! lol can't wait for next week! Fortunately, I live in Australia, so I'm getting these episodes in order :)
What a great show! I enjoyed the entire episode, including Fran's effort to give advice to Niles, the "practice" on the dummy twins, Brighton and Gracie in Fran's play and Max and Fran's loving bickering in the doctor's office. The scenes in Max and Fran's room were romantic and realistic. The best part of the show was the interaction between Niles and C.C., Fran and Maxwell that brings the relationshhip of all four to a dramatic climax-- and Daniel and Lauren stole the show there. I was amazed at how powerfully they played that short scene-- then led us on to the surprise in Niles's room. Does anyone know if something was cut at the end to explain how C.C. got back to Niles's room? Anyway, it keeps getting "betta and betta."
I think this episode was overal good!
This was a great episode. Sure to become a NANNY CLASSIC! I loved it when Fran yelled to Maxwell not to be conserned about the rash on Frankies tushie, that she just held him to close to the toaster oven. I also loved it when C.C. sang to the bird on the terase of the office singing 'Song of Spring'. I sang that in my District Choir. It was the perfect song to put in that scene. I loved the entire episode.
Fran and Maxwell finding out what it going to be all about with twins!!! too cute and very romatic I loved it!!
I LOVED IT! Great episode. I loved Brigton and Gracie's skit. Too LOL. And when Fran was talking to C.C. and Karen started to cry. Then C.C. takes the battery out too funny. Anyway great show.
i loved it, this episode was romantic, funny and just plain great! what more can a girl ask for!
I thought that this episode was really cute, one of the best we have seen of the lost episodes.
the whole situation between niles and c.c is funny
And another great one! Classic moments from all of them. And how cute that the 'dummy twins' were named Frank and Caryn! (And they provided some of the best lines/scenes from taking the battery out to "Made in Taiwan"!!! OY! Only 4 to go here in Oz. My only complaint is that Channel 10 is now showing "Maggie's Wedding" next and not "Yetta's Letters".
An Excelent episode, full of surprises and good laughs, I loved C.C and the dummy baby,Gracie and B's little play was excelent, it is nice to see such young actors strech so much from their characters,BRAVO GUYS!!!!, Fran was so adorable, when she put all the pillows around the dummy babies, to prevent them from falling, such a simple actionthat tells us so much about the kind of mother Miss fine will become, jus lovely. BRAVO!!!, this is such a great group of actors, my admiration and respect to everyone of them.
nile's speech to cc and then her reply of realization was the most dramatic thing i have ever seen out of those two. im sure all you niles/cc fans were in heaven! CC's speech reminded me of frans goodbye on ET, so it sortof had a double meaning. staying to long at the fair, it all came straight out of frans mouth. also brighton and gracie were really classic.
How could you not love it?!? It had everything, and of course, Niles & CC! Would have loved to see how they ended up the way they did, just glad they finally got together! Fran and Charlie were great, but Daniel and Lauren stole the show with both of their great dramatic and comedic acting-just superb!
As far as I'm concerned, it's the best episode in the history of the show. I really missed the Niles that showed up here - he's been gone for too long. Bravo Danny, Lauren, everybody!
I loved this episode! The tape recorder, the bed! Excellent! Bravo to Daniel Davis and Lauren Lane! I liked the way they were comedic in one scene and dramatic in another. Maybe we should write to CBS begging them for a Niles and CC spinoff! Thank you cast and crew for a wonderful season! Bravo and well done!
They were hilarious. I could not stop laughing.
I loved the Brighton and Gracie skit! Bravo Benjamin and Madeline!
This is easily my favorite episode of all time! I was rolling on the floor the whole time, except that one great dramatic scene where Niles finally forces C.C. to take a look at reality. Too many great lines to pick a favorite. This one is tens all around!
LOL. one of the best this season. Loved the part with Niles, and C.C.
The dolls have been a very keen narrative device:they have shown Fran's and Max' life after the twins birth, before that happened. The interaction between the characters, the story, the pace have made of this episode one of the best ever, close second behind Shopaholic. Thanks to the Nanny cast and crew, it has been the first time a show has fulfilled the fans' wishes before the end. These last episode are pure gold, thanks again.
What a wonderful ep that was, right?! :-)
I had the chance to attend the taping for this episode back in February, and all I can say
about it is WOW! Even at the risk of being somewhat preoccupied, I think this ep had soo many
great lines and classic moments that will live on forever, e.g. Yetta and the twins ('You
cook?!'-I still didn't get over that one, Pia!), the Fran/Max scenes in the bedroom ('They're
in here, aren't they?!'), and, *above all*, Niles and CC! (*finally!*)
Although I haven't seen this ep on TV yet (here in Germany, we're *way* behind, like 'The
Engagement'), I know that, unfortunately enough, some things were cut, including one of my fav.
lines:
Fran: Niles, tell me, what do I have to do to get you to forgive me?
Niles: Make that cow fall in love with me!
Still, I really enjoy(ed) this episode, and when I think back to the expression on Sabine's
face (she was sitting next to me) when Fran and Max opened the door to Niles'
room......PRICELESS! (Somehow, I had the feeling IT was gonna happen that episode, dunno why!)
So, all I can do now is hoping that you all enjoyed this ep, too and to wish you as much fun at
'Maggie's Wedding' as I had......
CC: Me marry you? Please. You are such a poor excuse for a man!
Niles: DITTO!
I wish that The Nanny wasn't closing, for this is the only program that my husband likes to watch with me, I guess I just won't watch the television any longer, for there is so much violence on the tele and The Nanny makes us laugh. Fran we Love you and we know that you need some time off. We were wondering if you called the program by a different name that would be a change enough. The name that we thought would pretty neat is "The Sheffields". Please write back soon. I already have the cast pictures that is signed, but I wouldn't mind getting a autograph picture of just Fran.
Finally! Daniel & Lauren really made this episode shine! The humor, the drama, the emotions...WOW!!! First Max tells CC off (in The Producers), now Niles brings her to reality about her present life & future! Now, I'm a huge Niles/CC fan, but, really, CC had it coming for a while. But, at least she has someone willing to love her...she just had to make up her mind & heart. And, in the end, she DID! Woo-hoo! These three-parter episodes were the best this season!
The speech where C.C. finally woke up to reality really reminded me of what Fran said on Entertainment Tonight. "I've always stayed to long at the fair" nice touch.
| Sylvia and Yetta bring over Yetta's old hope chest for the babies room. In it, they find Yetta's old love letters to a waiter she met on the ship to America, but never saw again. Fran thinks that this story would make a great play (sorta like Titanic!) but Maxwell ends up wrestling with Andrew Lloyd Webber for the rights. (Don't ask.) Meanwhile, everyone must get used to a kinder, gentler C.C. who has fallen in love with Niles. Written by Dan Amernick and Jay Amernick. Story by: Bernie Vyzga, Dan Amernick and Jay Amernick. Steven Spielberg: Isaac Chernotsky, Andrew Lloyd Webber: Sam Mountain, Renee Cohen, Jared Doud, Ryan McPartlin, James Edson, Charley Geary, Helen Geller, Steve Gideon, Sue Goodman, Hal Robinson, Lizzy Magill, Linda Dee Shayne, Sean Smith, Amy Tolsky. |
Our responses (76) gave the episode a 9.1 overall, a 9.2 for the comedy, and a 9.0 for romance.
Some comments received were:
This episode was great! The musical numbers were just awesome and the ending when Niles was singing to CC was just great! I really enjoyed this episode...I also liked how maxwell got so fed up with andrew loyld webber and his always coming out on top...but in the end Maxwell prooved he could be as succesful as andrew loyld webber! overall...awesome episode..the nanny will definitley be missed! =)
It's too late for this, isn't it?
Ok, this was another great episode. The 'toppings' jokes were kinda sick, but it still made me laugh. Really great ep!!! :-)
This was Hilarious!! Very good!
It was good!! I loved the whole C.C. thing, with the bird & the "buy two of the same outfit"!! Ha ha!! It was great!!!
The musical numbers were incredible! It's more upsetting than ever that we (in the U.S.) could not see these as the countdown episodes Fran and Co. intended. Les Moonves and his band of idiots shouldn't be allowed to run a major network. Isn't there some UHF station in the boondocks that needs new management? ;-)
Wow -- after waiting for this ep for six years, i feel like *I* should be rolling over and smoking a cigarette. Niles and CC, finally together and as hysterical as you'd expect.
I liked Dummy Twins Better but this one had a lot of the old time charm that was there before the wedding
I loved C.C. and Fran's inside jokes. I was in complete shock from the last scene in Dummy Twins. I had to watch the tape of Yetta's Letters. I am glad we didn't have two new episodes every night or I would have to be repottied trained. GOD I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! I just wish the rest of the sixth season could have been as great, but they were all good. WE WOULDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT RATINGS IF THE OTHERS WERE AS EXCELLENT!!
Bravo, bravo, bravo! It was wonderful - especially Danny's song at the end. We've had to wait too long to hear him sing again! "But it doesn't matter what I'm paid, 'Cause I'm finally getting ....." (AS IF!)
Two words: Hoo hah!
I love it when the cast does a song and dance number!!!!
Great episode!!! I love all the mysteriously missing kitchen ingredients and of course CC and the bird. Seeing Fran and Max more and more like each other as a married couple is a real treat. But of course the highlight is the all-too-great Niles number. Daniel is a great theatrical performer and once again The Nanny has shown the talents of their cast through a well written episode!
Again, a superb job done by all. It's about time we saw what one of MAxwell's shows looked like. The bits with Niles/CC ( with and without food) were drop dead funny.. I can never look at a banana in the same way again! The show is a joy to watch .I will miss it SO VERY MUCH come the Fall season.OY!!!
Alright, first things first - that tag scene at the end of this episode is the *BEST*...EVER! Niles singing AND dancing - what could be better than that! :o) CC being all sweetness and light - ROTF!! My side hurt from laughing at this ep. All the food innuendos sprinkled throughout were gut busters. A Nanny musical would have been fabulous. One episode where they all break into song. "Welcome to the windmills of my mind."
This was an awesome episode - from the moment Niles came down the stairs singing about how he was too sexy for his apron to the tag scene where he was in a full-fledged musical number in the living room. C.C. was hysterical, especially when she told Fran she would be seeing her in the same outfits a lot and the bizarre spring scene where she was wearing that frou-frou dress and singing. Actually, I didn't care much for the spring scene when I first saw it, but on repeated viewings I was on the floor laughing. I know there wasn't much conversation or interaction between C.C. and Niles (except in our imaginations - olive oil!!), but when he sang "I'm in heaven" at the end and gave her that look, I just thought "Wow." This episode's a 10 all across the board.
A wonderful variety of devices used in this episode. I absolutely LOVED the two production numbers. Like the Fiddler takeoff, this Titantic satire was another wonderful idea. They do these so well! I would also like to thank and acknowledge Fran for her generosity in giving the spotlight to other cast members. These two shows really proved what a magnetic star Daniel Davis is and how easily he can command a scene. As always, though, I think the two women just steal the show. Lauren Lane is, without a doubt, the most uderrated actress on television. More bravos for one of the best episodes in Nanny history! 10/10
it wasn't the best i've seen..it was funny the CC being in love thing..when she was out on the terrace and the bird was on her arm...then max closing the french doors on her...it wasn't as funny as it could have been or romantic..other then the CC Niles thing..it was ok episode can't wait for next week though!!!
What can I say--funny, funny, funny!! All the innuendos pointed at CC and Niles-hilarious!! Best one had to be when Niles came down and got all the toppings--Wahoo, pretty sexy!! And of course the end with Niles singing--Great!!
CC was so funny in this episode. Especially when she came into the office all happy and cheerful when she's usually grumpy. Yetta was also funny (I liked when they showed the montage of some of the crazy things she's done.) When Fran said "Nice chest" when Sylvia brought it in and Yetta said "Thank you" I just started cracking up. Sylvia was funny when she started saying the lines of Frere Jacques to mean for the waiter to bring her check while she was in Paris.
This one had an interesting twist...I dont think it was QUITE as good as the Dummy Twins, but it was still very LOL-able :o)
this was one of the best episodes i have seen this season. it revolved around yetta, how can you not love that??? thats all i'll say for now, i have to recap because i cant remember what happened in which episode. the one thing that bugged me a lot, and i have been noticing this for a while now, pretty much the whole year: maxwelle yells at EVERYONE like he is their father! he blames everything on fran and she runs away even when she didnt do anything that she could have known would go wrong. i know they are kinda going for a lucy type thing there, but it isnt that cute when you just wanna yell at max! then he yells at niles and cc about their fighting, it just seems like they are all adults and even though they work for him (although thats no longer a valid excuse for fran) he needs to back off.
My only complaint was too much kinky and not enough romance. We all expected it but after six years I was waiting for a little affection...but fan fiction and a NC-17 mind will fill in the blanks. A plague of Payne's on CBS for not exploring a Niles and CC spinoff.
Not as good, but not bad at all. Fran and Max's reaction 'I never want to see that again'. Niles and his banana smile, CC in that dress, too funny. Ann playing a younger Yetta was hillarious. Also I thought Sylvia looked terrific, and its not just the weight loss. Her clothes are great, her hair, everything. What happened to the wrestling match?
i thought that this episode was one of the best of all the shows ever aired! the ending was superb! c.c. and niles were both top notch! if only there was a seventh season on the way, oy :(.
Like the Dummy Twins, I thought this was one of the funniest eps of the 6th season. Loved Max trying to outsmart A. Lloyd Webber & Yetta as a young woman in the "smash hit musical". CC was hysterically funny on the terrace singing to the dove while Max slams the doors on in her face. Also loved Max & Fran trying not to let on they know about Niles & CC & Frans not so subtle comments about there being no honey unless Max wanted to scrape it off Miss Babcock & Max complaining about there being no chocolate sauce -(also used on Miss Babcock - LOL) All in all a great ep. Well done writers, cast & crew !
One laugh after another! Max & Fran's reaction to finding Niles & C.C. in bed was priceless! "Oh my Gawd!" "I don't ever want to see that again!" And then Niles dancing down the stairs & loading up with toppings! I was dyin'! Also really enjoyed the taste of Broadway they gave us at the end, with the two musical numbers. They really poured their hearts & souls into these last episodes! Thank you, from the bottom of mine.
Oooo...good all the way 'round. The Kitchen, CC and her bird..and Niles musical!!!
"I'm too sexy for my apron, too sexy for my..." Need I say more? ROTFL! Gotta love it when Davis does a song and dance number! (No matter what the context)
I liked this episode, not as much as Dummy Twins, but it was still LOL funny. I thought the storyline with Fran and Maxwell just reminded me of something right out of I Love Lucy and it was great to see Fran getting into Maxwell's business like Lucy did with Ricky. Niles and C.C. were a trip and the food jokes were good too! Thanks to the writers, the entire cast and crew for giving us a tremendous last season.
I loved this episode! It could have been a lot more romantic between Niles and C.C. but overall it was excellent. Boy they sure ran out of food! I liked the end where C.C. pretended to close the door then followed Niles back up stairs. This episode is a classic!
Two big production numbers in one show. Oy! Iam kvelling. I always knew that Daniel Davis was talented , but now that I know he can be a Rockette...HooHa! He's defiantly worth more than 6 bucks a hours, and he's defiantly too sexy for his apron, bagel cutter etc.. A big THANK YOU to all the writers for this show. It a low down dirty rotten shame that this has to end, but talk about ending on a high note!
This was another great episode. I especially loved the part where Niles came down the stairs singing "i'm too sexy" LOL. Fran's little hints and innuendos to Niles and CC where LOL all the way. The music and singing were fabulous especially the tag scene when they had Niles sing. Max was hansome as always ;o) and i just love the new more softer CC.
Well Charles sure was right, when he alerted us to the quality of the shows still to come-- Yetta's Lettas is going to be one of the classics. We really needed an episode to bring us back to Maxwell's world as a Broadway producer and wind up the competition with ALW by letting Maxwell having a smash hit. And how perfect that Fran helped him find the script and all the Fines were involved. The humorous, clever look at Broadway, playing off Love Letters and Titanic was superb-- I loved the musical scenes. And then, to top it off, we get C.C. and Niles actually in a relationship of their own unique sort. It takes some getting used to to watch a "giddy" C.C., but Lauren did it well. Loved Daniel's singing. I also thought that they're finally getting Maxwell and Fran's relationship right-- I really laughed when Maxwell insisted that he's "mishpoura" (don't know how to spell but loved his use of Yiddish) and when he challenged Fran for getting too soft now that she's a married lady. What a send off!
This was another funny episode. My only question is that in this episode she meets the waiter she loves on the ship to america, but in the finale Yetta says on her first wedding anniversary she and her husband flee poland. Other than that a great episode. I loved Niles little dance number in the closing. That was his moment in thhe spot light. Over all a very cute episode.
GREAT! Loved the play and NIle's script. Overall an awesome ep.
I AM REALLY DISGUSTED WITH THE WHOLE SEASON. THE NANNY WAS A VERY SUCCESSFUL SHOW FOR cbs. WHEN THEY NEEDED THE NANNY THEY LOVED HER AND PROMOTED THE SHOW AS WELL AS ANY OTHER HIT.I LIKED cbs FOR HAVING ALICE ON FOR SO LONG AND THEY DID THE SAME TO THAT SHOW IN THE END. I WOULD LIKE TO TELL cbs TO KISS MAH GRITS.MORE TO FOLLOW. I JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST COMPUTER AND I'M GUNG HO ABOUT TELLING EVERYONE HOW cbs TREATED THE NANNY.I thought that episode was kinda goofy with the musical theme to the letters. The parts with Niles and C.C. were priceless.Just hysterical!!!!!!
Very Funny, I loved the silent movie, Love the Musical numbers, Daniel Davis is great. C.C and the bird, EVERYTHING!!! I LOVE THIS SHOW!
This was a cute episode! I thought I would fall on the floor when Niles came down the stairs singing "I'm too sexy for my..." and when he saw Fran & Max there, he said, "I couldn't sleep. I was just too.." and Fran said, "sexy?" The food jokes were funny (although I have to agree a little gross). Niles singing at the end was definitely the best! I always love to hear him sing, and he needed one more big number to go out on. Also, almost forgot- Fran's line about her and Max being Rob & Laura Petrie and Yetta was their neighbor Millie was also funny. Didn't enjoy this quite as much as the Dummy Twins, but it was close.
Any show that highlights Ann and then gives us a wonderful Danny song is a 10 in my book. Thank you writers - it was a long time coming!
I loved it! The way Fran was teasing them! And C.C. God she's nice! It was cute and funny! Bravo to the whole cast and crew! Lauren and Daniel deserve an award! They were wonderful!
Another great episode! I liked Dummy Twins better but this one was good too. The Niles/C.C. parts were great! I have to say, I work in a supermarket and the day after this aired, I cracked up everytime I saw a banana!
nanny fine is the best. is a genius. she is fantastic!
GOOD ONE!!!!! :O) aT lAST!!!!!
I'm to sexy for my apron, to sexy for my bagel cutter, to sexy for my sub zero. LOL:):)
Okay like I almost DIED! From Niles and "I'm too sexy for my apron..." to "the smile on his bananna" to "The BUTLER DID IT" to Yetta's "Chest" and who can forget C.C. following him upstairs pretending to close the door! Awesome episode! Charlie was right this is a sure Classic! God I'm going to miss The Nanny! CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NANNY CAST AND CREW FOR A JOB WELL DONE AND NEVER ENDING LAUGHS! DANNY DID A GREAT JOB ON THAT MUSICAL NUMBER TOO!
LIKE THEY SAY YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'VE GOT TILL IT'S GONE! THIS EPISODE MADE ME REALIZE HOW MUCH I'M GOING TO MISS THE NANNY! THANK YOU CAST AND CREW! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH YOU'RE APPRECIATED. WHAT CAN I SAY? THE NANNY'S GOT NEVER ENDING LAUGHS!
The ep. was good but i liked the dummy twins better cuz in this ep the didn't even show the dolls what did they take them back?? I don't know but NIALS AND C.C. FINALLY GOT TOGETHER!!!!!!!!! And that dance number oy that was a million laugh exacply when nials sang "and i'am in heaven" tWO THUMBS up!!HES A GOOD singer! gonna miss "The Nanny" fav show #1fan of all times
Great episode!!! Talk about "The Taming of the Shrew"...Niles sure tamed the heck out of CC, huh?! It was so funny! Also, seeing Daniel Davis doing a song & dance routine is always a highlight. Man, I love his voice...his eyes...his chest...oy, I'm getting overworked here! These past eps. (Producers, Dummy Twins, Yetta's Lettas) were the best Niles/CC episodes in a LONG time. I'm going to miss them A LOT!!!
This was an excellent ep. Niles dancing in his robe, I'm too sexy, great. The musical numbers were wonderful especially Six Bucks An Hour. Nice to see Danny Davis showing us his other talents, C.C. singing to the bird in her flowered dress, cute. I loved it. Thanks.
