Fabulous just fabulous!
I thought this episode was funny and emotional at the same time...I couldn't belive how much maggie's character had grown up..its just amazing! I think my favorite part was when she was talking to maxwell and expressing how much she loves michael..I think it really signified her indpendence and also the strong bond between father and daughter....My other fave part was when Fran was desperate to meet barbara...She'll go to great lengths to meet her idol! overall this episode was awesome! i really enjoyed it! ;) this show will really be missed!
good one, very nice!!!
Barbara?? Can you hear me??? LOL!!!! This was an excellent ep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad I had my trusty VCR ready!
Not bad. It had shades of the old Max & Fran banter from earlier seasons. I only wish that Fran could have actually gotten to meet "Barbra" (Poor Fran !) Highlights for me included: Max bringing the entire wedding party & Barbra into Fran's hospital room only to discover that Fran's gone home -truly classic Fran irony; CC coming in looking extremely disheveled & announcing the heel hole in the limo's privacy screen; Yetta breaking the news of Fran & Max "knowing about Niles & CC to "Maggie" ( aka CC) & CC phoning Niles to tell him "they know & she needs something at Home Depot" was terrific. I also liked the part with Max, Fran, Val, Maggie & Sylvia all jammed into Val's car on the way to pick Maggie's wedding dress. The scene where Max & Maggie talk on the steps was quite touching ( although a blind man could have seen it coming from New Jersey - but hey I still loved the scene) Overall it was a pretty good ep.
It started great - Lauren (CC) was hysterical standing in that doorway, all flushed and disheveled. BUT, I'm sorry - no Danny, NO GOOD!
This episode was the better of the two although I didn't like it as much as last week's episodes. The absence of Daniel Davis was probably the reason, along with the fact that there wasn't much continuation of the C.C./ Niles storyline. I did love the line when Yetta tells C.C. that Fran and Max caught them and C.C. has to ask where "the closet, the stairwell? Wal-Mart?" And the opening scene with Miss Babcock coming in from the Limo was hillarious!
LOL Lauren Lane, but where was DD? Schedule conflict? Does anybody know? That whole scene with her coming in from her "trip" to the airport was hysterical. The rest was sweet, but I kinda wish we got to see more development of the Niles/C.C. relationship rather than just the results. Not that I'm complaining!
This was an okay episode. Where was DD? Even without Niles, I thought the scenes with CC were hysterical - after the limo ride, getting mistaken for Maggie by Yetta (Wal-Mart - ROTFLOL). The whole thing with Fran and Barbra was so I Love Lucy! Loved it.
Maggie's wedding was cool, a 7 to me. I loved Maggie and Max on the front stoop, the flashback and seeing the bridal shop and Dotty again, Andrew was better in this ep than in any of the other's he's been in, and the last tribute to Barbra was great, only it overshadowed our daughter's wedding a bit too much. Oh, and those bloopers were ROTFLMAO funny! ;-)
She'll never meet Barbra with her luck! Poor Fran :-( Loved CC and Yetta in that scene with Woolmart!
Good show, the part where everone ignored Max was funny and the bloopers at the end are always good for a laugh.
Well, how can you knock a wedding episode. Poor Fran, she never gets to meet Barbara! You think she would've been able to in one of the last episodes.
The scene with Maxwell and Maggie almost brought tears to my eyes. It was so touching. I loved the scene where Yetta slips and let CC know they know about the. Her screaming "The kitchen, the closet, the stairwell, the limo... Wallmart?" I was ready to die. Too bad we didn't see CC welcome Niles home again.
I love when Fran asks CC if Niles "got off" ok! lol A good episode but not as funny as it could have been.
A solid 8! This ep was good, standard Nanny. Nothing really sent me flying. Charles, although, was exemplary in this ep's performance. His protrayal of Maxwell was both funny and heartfelt. The absence of Daniel was truly felt. He would have been the spark, I think, to put this ep over the top. (Barb, What happened to him?)All in all, a good solid show.[webmasters note: I don't know why DD wasn't there that week. Never heard an official reason.]
I thought the show was great. If they would have shown these episodes earlier maybe we would have had a chance for a seventh season.
Fran Drecher is a very talented director, I hope to see more of her work.
Pretty good. Lauren stole the show coming in all ravaged like. DD was definately missed though. As, much as I enjoyed all the implications, I think we aren't asking much for an actual kiss. Oh well, Home Depot will never be the same.
Loved it, but I liked "The Baby Shower" better. I especially loved seeing the bloopers at the end. I loved all the scenes that everyone else mentioned. I only wished they would have focused more on the wedding and less on the Streisand conflict.
Good episode, lol at CC being all disheveled coming back from the limo ride and then limping because her high heel was imbedded in the privacy glass! Really missed Daniel Davis-Niles would never have missed Miss Margaret's wedding! Very touching with Fran, Max and Maggie.
To me, all of The Nanny episodes are a ten! I will miss the show so very much!
I don't know, I was really disappointed in this ep. I loved the beginning, but then it stopped being about Maggie and was about Fran and Barbra. First of all, Fran has met Barbra (The Car Show, she even stole her boot). And you would think Max might be a little put out about Fran putting her health at risk in order to meet her idol. But I really missed Maggie and Fran having a mother daughter talk about the 'wedding night' or being a 'good wife' LOL. There was so much potential lost. CC and Yetta were awesome, weird ep for Niles to be missing from.
Loved all the Barbra stuff!! I don't think my husband could have hustled me out of the house like that -- it's a first pregancy, labor lasts for hours, she had plenty of time before anything would have happened! Coulda seen Barbra and THEN gone to the hospital. But their way was funnier.
i havent seen this ep yet, but from what i have heard, fran is excited to meet barbra streisand for the first time, but hasnt she met her before? remember in that episode, i think the car show, when fran goes to her party and steals her shoes and purse, and barbra asks her back personally to get her things? [webmasters note: They never say first, just that she will be coming to their house. I don't know about you, but if I were meeting Barbra (or Fran!), I don't think it would matter if it was the first or the second time, I would still be excited!]
This was a great episode. It was funny, sweet, and just over all terrific. This was the second to last, new, episode to ever be aired for the Nanny. I loved teh part in the end where Fran tells Max 'I'm so glad I'm pregnant' Max-'Why?' Fran- ' It's the only thing keeping me from killing myself!'. This was hesterical. I loved it when Fran, Val, Sylvia, and Maggie, went to the Bridal shop where Fran and Maggie went when Fran first started as Nanny. I thought it was funny that Val was happy to work at a Donut shop rather than the Bridal Shop just because it was six blocks closer to her bus stop (sub-way, house, whatever). I love these flash backs they start putting in. I loved the Barbara impersonater. I wonder if Fran will ever meet her, she has had quite a few chances, but the cercomstances always force her to not go. This was a 10!
Just great! I wish Fran had gotten to meet Barbra Streisand, there would have been some great comedy! Oh well, there already was, especially when Yetta says "They caught you doing the horizontal horror" and CC goes "Where? The kitchen, stairs, limo. Wal-Mart?" A ten!
I just loved the part when Fran runs away to her house just to see Barbara. And then saying "Iīm so glad Iīm pregnant...that is the only thing that keeps me from killing my self" great line! A very funny funny episode. Great Fran directing this ep!
This episode was good. Fran's finally "related" to Barbra. But one question, Where was Daniel??
It was amazing to reflect on how much the children have grown both physically and in their art with this show. We spend most of our time and comments remarking about the principle leads...who are all worthy, but in this case, I'd like to refrain from that and just put in a "well done" to the three who had done such a wonderful job over the years. Professional in their appearance, demeanor, and attitude, from where I sit here at home, they have made the words "child star" come to mind. They WERE children when they started and they have all become STARS! Whatever their roles later in life, I hope that they look back on these years with pride. I know I look at them with respect. My favorite part of this episode was the poignancy of Max and Maggie.
One of the best episodes of this last season. My favourite part was when Fran arrived home and Barbra was in the hospital singing for her...!!! WOW, one of the best moments in Nanny history... Too bad CC and Niles relationship wasnīt displayed on this one... This is together with Fran gets Shushed, my favourite from season 6...
I thought this was a very cute and funny episode. The LOL part was when CC came into the house all dishevled. I was brought to tears with the part between Maggie and Max and I absolutely loved the scene between Max and Fran in the hospital. It was both funny and sweet. I did miss Niles he is such a great character. Loved the blooper at the end between Fran and Rachael, i just couldnt stop laughing! Congradulations are in order to Fran Drescher for another fine job at directing! Fran you're the best!
It was awesome. It didn't really have a lot of comedy in it, but it was still very funny. It was very romantic. I give it a 10.
Even without DD this was a very well done episode. Lots of LOL moments and a terrific focus on all the Nanny women. Any other week, it would've looked even better, but it's SO hard to follow that amazing double whammy last week! I would kill to own (and fit into) that lavendar dress Lauren wore for the wedding :-) 8/10
I pretty good ep. Had some great moments. Yeah, we all knew that by the end Max would give Maggie his consent, but when they give CS a scene where he is not necessarily trying to get a laugh (I think of saying goodbye to Sarah during the Engagement), he really is at his best. I also loved the dynamic between Max and Maggie. I don't know why, but I always thought they just seem like real good friends off screen (I know they all are, but these tow more so). As actors they really do have a lot of chemistry and that really showed through in that scene tonight. Loved the flashback to the pilot. I didn't recognize the lines so i assume that those were cut for syndication.
Fran missing Streisand... Twice!!!! It was amazing!!
I thought this episode was extremely well done. The Niles and C.C. getting off okay to planning Maggie's wedding. They added more jokes, and have a lot more suprises. I thought the Barbara Striesand thing was hilarious, and Yetta telling C.C. about Fran and Maxwell walking in on them. I could have died when Yetta said "Well if they really dig getting caught they should try the alluminum sheds in Home Depot" then when C.C. called Niles and said "I need to pick up something at home depot" Over all I thought it was extremely well. The purposal and who can forget Max finally giving Maggie his blessing. I think we all cried. I thought Brighton and Michael were as always great, and Lauren Lane did a fabulous job playing C.C. Sylvia was incredible and who can forget Val. I just still can't figuire out why they wrote Danny out of the whole episode.
An episode without Daniel Davis is oh,so disappointing. What! was he busy? I hope he got the job! However, I am certain that I will look back at this one and it will be ranked among my favorites. It wasn't as slick as the two previous episodes, but it provided a ton of laughs, I KNOW that I am going to snicker the next time I go to Home Depot. Mean while the characters Niles/CC are "doing it" every where on the planet and we never even get to see them hold hands. Cutting room floor? Despite the nitpicking I could do it was good solid Nanny entertainment.
Very Good.
I thought that this was a great episode it was funny and a little emotional. All in all a great episode.
Not as fast-paced & hillarious as last week's episodes, but still well done. Loved that Fran's sneaking around only cost her a visit with her idol, & Yetta giving C.C. advice on trysting spots was LOL - with a shudder! Sounded like she was speaking from experience! ;-D
Another very pleasing episode (although with a few shortcomings probably dictated by the 21-22 minute restrictions.) My favorite scene - Max and Maggie (after a Fran 'set-up')- and recognizing that the oldest child is no longer a child. The comedy was top notch, as usual. The first episode without Niles was surprising but there were probably good reasons - although I do agree with the comment that 'he' would never miss Miss Margaret's wedding! I guess when you're only given 3 episodes to wrap things up you do what you have to. Congrats to Fran and the gang for another classic!
What does one say? These two episodes were wonderful. To the cast and crew, a thank you for 6 wonderful years. To Miss Drescher, there are no words to express how wonderful the years have been, as an acctress, director, writer, and producer. To CBS, as another viewer wrote,a bevy of Payne's over the years. Your only redemption would be multiple reunion shows and a summer of season 6 reruns. How do we say goodbye!
I thuoght it was funny. I wish that Niles was in the episode. It would have been nice to see them together. I liked the wedding
Great ep!!!! Boy, was that funny or what?! Loved the part when Franny said that she was glad she was pregnant cause it was the only thing keeping her from killing herself. That was great. The expression on her face was just perfect! Oh, boy are we gonna miss 'em... well no tears. Let's just kick back and laugh!
I enjoy this episode very much, it was funny, and it was so moving too, I loved the Max - Maggie scene, also the scene with all the women planing the wedding, Fran was so cute and Funny, I liked the scene in Val's car, and in the bridal shop,Yetta and CC, CC and Fran, poor Fran, the whole Streisand thing was so funny, I can't belive Barbra Streisand never accepted their invitations to be a Guest Star in the show, I mean... Come on Barbra!, shame on you..."She's a Person who need People"...Well, maybe someday Miss Fine...
This episode really made me realize how much the three children have grown. I think personally that they've not only grown physically, but acting wise. I think they should be very proud of themselves. God knows I am! I think when we look back at how little they started out and how they were just learning, and now they're taller than Fran and she used to have to bend over to talk to them. I think we all cried when Maggie and Max were talking and he said "You're really in love aren't you?" And the retrospective clip from the pilot when she was talking to Fran. That really makes you think. Gracie started out at seven now she's going into her teenage years, Brighton has grown into a mature well sometimes adult, and Maggie has gotten married. I thought they all did a fantastic job not to mention the rest of the cast. BRAVO!
[webmaster's note: I was told that Daniel Davis did not appear in this episode because he was called out of town for a family emergency that week.]I loved it!! The Nanny at it's best!! I loved the bridal shop scene!!!
I laughed till I cried. From C.C. and her dischelveledness,to the purposal, to Yetta and the walmart/home depot thing,to Max finally giving Maggie his blessing, to Barbara. Very well done. I thought the bloopers between Fran and Rachel were hilarious they really should put some blooper special devoted to The Nanny on air. They're always so funny! Charlie as always proved to be a terrific actor! He's proved that he can jump from dramatic to comedic. Lauren put on a good show for us all until her dynamic duo friend, Niles, returns. She did a fabulous job as always. Fran was excellent and right on time. Sylvia was comedic and funny. It's nice to see Val more in these last couple of episodes she has a tremendous talent! This episode will truly be remembered as one of the greats! But I think the kids really deserve a lot of credit. We rarely see them, but when we do they light up the screen. Watching that retrospective clip from the pilot made me realize how much they've grown. Maggie is no longer the shy, awkward teenager that we've grown to know and love over these past six years she's now a married woman, thanks to Fran. I've always thought Nicholle Tom did a great job on this character. Brighton is now considering his future and has grown into quite an actor. I have always thought Benjamin did a great job with this character as well, and then there's Grace played by Madeline Zima she's grown into a girl that doesn't even look remotely like the girl we saw in the pilot. She's grown into a terrific young actress. I think that one thing about these kids is that they really do have such great chemestry. You can see that they are friends and that they are having the time of their lives on screen. I certainly hope we see more of them. They should be proud of themselves. WELL DONE, KIDS!
The show was awesome!!! and when Maggie and Maxwell had that heart- full- moment oy that was sooo touching!and i can't belive how much maggie grow up like in the very first ep, we see her in her shy type, way and now she is a very opean.
I agree with several other posts that my favorite scene was with Max & Maggie. When he looked at her and said "You're really in love, aren't you?", I wanted to cry. I also agree that we've seen a big change in all the kids over the years, and I'd like to add my congratulations to pile for a job well done.
Wonderful episode! However I do agree that Niles would have never missed Miss Margarets Wedding! The kids have grown up a lot too! I'm going to miss The Nanny sooooooooooo Much!
Loved the Barbra moments with Fran. We needed a good dose of that. The wedding was wonderful, despite the short notice. Great moments between Max and Maggie and Fran, very believable and touching. Loved the Niles/CC developing relationship...I just wish we could see more and let it develop painfully over time... A great episode!
| A psychic prediction shows Maxwell in California, in bed with a blonde. Fran is not concerned until the prediction for Val comes true: she gets involved with the pharmacist! Our responses (75) gave the episode a 8.7 overall, a 9.0 for the comedy, and a 8.4 for romance.
Some comments received were:
Fran at her funniest. Just a terrific episode. I can't believe that this is all of them now!!!
It's so very sad that this is the end. There are no more new episodes. I am going to
miss it so much."It's a world gone mad." The part where Fran meets Fran Drescher was so clever.
Thanks Fran, Peter, Charles and the whole cast for a wonderful six years.
I really enjoyed this episode..i thought it was really funny and really showed what being pregnant does to you! I think the best part was when we saw Fran and fran meeting each other..and plugging the final episode...i thought it was really clever! My other favorite part was when Brighton tells Fran he doesn't want to go to college right away and she completely destroys the cake..really funny! I really enjoyed this episode! top notch! I'm going to miss the nanny every wednesday but hopefully it will continue in syndication...=)
Now that the final episode (FOR REAL) is over, can we get to see the entire Hakkuah episode?
That tag scene was hilarious! "Are you an organ doner?" LOL
GOOG!!!!! :) VERY FUNNY AND ROMANTIC. IT WAS A GREAT EPISODE I LOVE IT!!!! GOOD ONE CAST!!!!!
Oh My!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the better eps! when Fran schmeared the cake all over poor B! LOL! and then Val!! She gets goofyer every ep! "F!! it must be for......Pharmascist!!!!" and the blond blue eyed leggy person being Niles...heh!
I hate to end on an off note but the plot of this ep was rather weak. To be positive though, there were some really funny moments like Max greeting Fran while entering the Kitchen only to discover it's Niles he just called his sweet darling. Libby reading Sanka grounds for Val at The Chatterbox was funny too but overall this one was uneven. Oddly the bit with the real Fran & "Fran Fine-Sheffield" in the hotel lobby was quite awkward & unnatural - I'm not sure what that was supposed to do for us ? Overall I suspect this one was a bit of a filler ep since they were saving key elements for the series Finale. However, like most major TN fans, I've always forgiven the "off" eps because I knew there was always "next week". Sadly, this time there's no more for any of us. I'll really miss the anticipation of "what comes next week". Goodbye Fran, Charles, Daniel, Lauren & all the rest of the actors, writers & crew who brought the extended Fine & Sheffield "family" to life each week on the small screen. Thankyou all for putting a little bit of yourselves into our favourite characters. It's been a pleasure to be entertained so well these past 6 years ! Wednesday's just won't be the same without The Nanny.
The idea of Fran and Niles thinking that Max & CC were together, getting jealous and running after them was a great idea. The problem was putting that bit in there about running into Fran Drescher. It was a little weird and and comments about not missing the finale next week just made me get mad all over.
I really didn't like this episode that much. It was ok, not one of the worst I've seen but stil...There was no C.C./Niles interraction. I did like the mood swings and the scene between Fran Fine and Fran Drescher.
Hahahahaha! The episode was kinda mediocre in itself, but thost last scenes with Fran/CC and Max/Niles were so funny. Niles was the blue-eyed leggy blonde! Hahahaha. Too bad we didn't get to see what happened when Niles finally went into C.C.'s real room, but this IS, after all, a family show.
So what's up with the fact that there haven't been any scenes of Niles and CC together since they got together? I mean, all the kinky stuff they've been hinting at has been pretty funny, but one scene of them in the same room would've been nice (although not sure I'd trade it for that hysterical scene of Niles and Max in bed together). Still, can't complain about an episode with Fran and Niles in a crazy scheme together. The Fran Drescher/Fran Fine hotel scene - trippy. And I loved the bed scene with Fran and C.C. I was cracking up at C.C.'s comments about Chester "He's my baby!" and I totally died at her "completely, totally, MULTIPLY satisfied" line. Of course, watching C.C. say (with a straight face) that SHE rejected Max and in the next breath talk about how in love she was with Niles was just great. She travels with his picture! How sweet is that?
Baby Shower was a 10 in my book. Hilarious from beginning to end, great script, plus Fran looked absolutely incredible, loved the hair-do. The Fran/CC Maxwell/Niles scenes in Beverly Hills were hysterical, Libby was really funny, and the Fran Drescher/Fran Fine scene was wonderful, very imaginative and creative. All in all a great episode, and after The Producers, probably the best directed episode I've ever seen.
One question: Why did they call this episode "The Babyshower"? I didn't see one. Did you? The horrendus self-promoting thing was totally uncalled for I think, but if the episodes had been shown in the proper order it might have seemed more okay. Didn't like it as the *last* episode we're going to see. Tatally anti-climax.
the fran drescher part was cute... of course it would have worked a bit better if Dumb CBS had aired everything in the correct order.
What a way to go out! This was one of the best ever! I loved the way that Fran and
co utilized most of the cast and places from seasons past. A "Fine" way to wrap up the show. I
waas on the floor from Fran and Niles ("She thinks I'm leggy?-LOL!) Yetta's expressions as
usual were hysterical! I just wish it could have been an hour so we actually could have seen
the baby shower- the disparity in the gifts from both sides would have been priceless! The cast
was "on"... it was just so sad to finally see it end. The only sour note I found was when Fran
was talking to Fran and they were touting the Finale. If CBS was a normal station then it all
would have been SO MUCH better.
Oh well. Thank you all for six years of the most fun I have ever had watching a sit com. And
thank you to Barb for everything. You have made this entire experience so much more
meaningful.... this page was a wonderful time had by all. Live long and prosper!
Kind of divided on this one. I'm glad they finally decided CC was over Max, all be it in her own little twisted way. CC telling Fran she was multiply satisfied was great. Fran being crazy pregnant was very funny. And who didn't already know that "Niles" was definately the sexy, leggy blue-eyed blond? They could have given us a little Niles and CC actually together.
This was truly one of my favorites! I loved the scene with Fran grabbing the cake and throwing it on B's plate. LOL And I loved Libby with Fran and Val at the Chatterbox. I thought it was hilarious when Fran was eating with her mom and called her "Big Head". I also liked the scene where she runs into Fran D. (just a note: I like Fran's hair both ways). Did anyone notice Chester sitting on the sofa in Max's room -- he looked so cute and didn't even move. ( I didn't notice it until about the third time I saw the scene) Overall, I just thought everyone's acting was great, especially Fran's. Now, I am just so sad. Some how we have to get this group of actors together again. They all just have amazing chemistry. Here's hoping for a reunion soon!!!
Good ep to go out on! Would have been better if CBS didn't screw up and had aired the episodes in the correct order! Everyone was at their best - Goodbye and thank you!
The best ever comedy on TV and it will be sorely missed! Thank God for re-runs!
I enjoyed this one more than Maggie's wedding. Fran's mood swings were wonderful, and Max's 'You're Brighton Sheffield, Harvard Freshman, see now you know' was classic. I'm loving the scene's with Fran and CC. But again there were wasted scenes again, that I just don't get, the Chatterbox, and the restaurant with Sylvia???? I think the Fran meeting Fran was kinda cute, especially Niles' part. Soooo sad to see it go. Well I'm off to 'grow from pain' and write some fanfic.
This was a pretty good episode. Except for the fact that it was called "The Baby Shower", but there was no baby shower. Just that bit with Yetta, Niles, and Grace. It might as well have been called "California here we come again", or something. I thought after C.C. told Fran that she and Max switched rooms, and that he had Chester, I thought it was Chester who was the leggy Blond that Max had his arms wrapped around in bed. I mean Chester may not have long legs but he does have four of them. This is a sad episode because there are no more new episodes. This is it, the end of the road. I thought the part with Fran Sheffield and Fran Dresher was so cute! I will miss those guys. They are like the big dissfuncional family, that I would trade my family for! They may be gone from the TV but they will live forever in our hearts, and theres always Syndication! Good-nite and Think Peace!
Have you realized that if we don't throw in some action to keep TN on the air, this was the last ep.! Think about that for a moment and MAKE some things happening, OK? Otherwise, I loved the Fran Drescher thing, but gee, how I miss some Niles/CC scenes. /think Would those scenes be suitable for kids?
I loved this episode..hoe could ya not? the scene where Fran fine meets Fran Drescher .. checking in...that was so cute..big hair makes your hips look smaller..she learned that from your show!!!ahh it was great my ribs hurt from laughing!!!
I felt this episode could have been a little better. It was funny, especially when Fran and Niles end up in the wrong beds and C.C. and Fran are talking about Chester and C.C. goes "That dog is a pain in the ass" and Fran says "Well, why did you bring him?" and C.C. says "Because he's my baby!". But some parts were boring. And the part where Fran "Sheffield" and Fran Drescher have a conversation was confusing and completly unnecessesary. Overall, good but not great.
I only have one thing to say: CC happy! For me, that made the whole episode.
The Trip to California was the best. The switched hotel rooms was great...too bad the episodes were out of order.
I laughed really hard at this episode very very funny. I loved the scene with Niles and Max, "somebody needs a waxing" and "let go!" Hey is this the first time that the star of the show acctually "guest stars" on their own show??
Although ripe with some great moments, this wasn't my favorite out of the "hidden" episodes. It was nice, however, to see the way they wrapped up some of the loose ends..something all too much lost in tv land. I rolled with the organ donar tag. This was a show that used established characters with nothing new...but made them shine in their usual way.
I thought this was one great episode! Fran was Fantastic in this episode. The plot line was very creative and cute. I loved the Max and Fran scenes and wished there could have been some more Niles and CC scences as well. The part when Niles gets in bed with Max was LOL all the way. But my most favorite scene was when Fran Fine meets Fran Drescher....that was extremely creative and funny...i couldn't stop laughing. I am so sad there arent going to be any new episodes. These characters are by far the best and i will miss them! Once again thanks Fran, Charlie, Daniel and Lauren for a great six years.
Although the leggy blonde stuff was very cute (and the leggy blonde as well!), this one was not what I wanted to see as the last ever regular episode. Not bad, but it lacked the terrific writing, chemistry, and pace of the last 4 or 5 episodes. Or perhaps I'm just very sad to see this wonderful series end :-( THANK YOU again for 6 years of filling the comedy gap in my life and for creating one of the best cast of characters ever!
Good one but not as good as the other one...didnīt like the scene when CC was leaving with Max and didnīt even say good-bye to Niles... The scene with Fran laying herseelf was funny, but a little dumb as well, seemed like she said "OK, the show is ending, Iīve had famouse quest stars on my show, I wanna be one of them"...
I don't know what more I can add to waht has already been said, but I will try to come up with something. This one had a slow start and a great finish I think. Libby and Sanka grounds was cute. Yetta complaining baout the baby shower being boring was typical yetta. THey didn't seem to go anywhere with Brighton not going to college (I know that they did finally wrap that up, but by the time they did, I just didn't care anymore). It jsut seemed like they cut a lot out (and I know that they cut a lot out of many eps, but that doesn't mean that we have to like it). Wasn't sure if I liked the Fran meeting Fran part. Shameless self promotion that may have worked better if we hadn't seen the finale. But maybe not. LOVED Niles reaction when they figured out he was the blond "YOu're psychic thinks I'm leggy?" LOL. Well, i guess teh end is here, but I look forward to rating past eps every week as a reminder of why I started watching.
I saw this episode a week ago, but I still laugh when I think of it! I think that Fran meeting Fran is Ms. Drescherīs way of saying goodbye to her kid, "The Nanny". Bravo!!!!!!!
For charlie and danny !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This episode was HILARIOUS! Fran's mood swings were funny as was her reaction when she heard "B" wasn't going to college. I cracked up when she said "Maybe I should give you the piece that says HARVARD." It was nice to see Danny back. The salon thing was awesome, and the reaction of Danny and Fran was incredible. I don't think I will ever forget Niles and Max in bed together that was hilarious. I was touched by C.C.'s speech to Fran, and I think she really proved she loved him. I really thought that the meeting Fran Drescher thing was cheesy, but oh well. Who can forget Yetta and the Osh Kosh thing. Over all. Awesome Episode.
The last episode, oh my gosh, LAST. I am too depressed to be objective! Tall leggy blond with piercing blue eyes, it's so cute, they let Daniel Davis write part of the script. I personally loved the part were Fran meets Fran, it was a major bookmark that set the show right where it belongs in TV history. It's a comedy that can laugh at and with itself, and it reminded me why I feel in love with all the characters in this show to begin with. A MAJOR THANK YOU and the Best of everything to every one involved with the show.
I really loved this episode it was sooo funny.
A very funny episode! Loved Fran's mood swings - esp. Gracie walking into the kitchen just as Fran is "dishing up" Brighton's cake: "Hi, Fran. Bye , Fran!" LOL Also liked that Val is given a real life to look forward to (Dumb & Dumber :-D) and Fran & Niles getting into the wrong beds was just too funny!
I have already written comments for this episode but i was reading one comment where a person said that the Fran meeting Fran scene was shameless self promotion. I don't think so. I think it was very clever and creative and enhanced the character of Fran Fine while showing Fran Drescher's great acting ability. Like another commenter put it, "Fran Fine was Fran D's baby and it was her way of saying goodbye to her character."
Was it just me or did this ep seem shorter than the others? Needless to say, I loved it. C.C. is finally satisfied, Niles and Max were hillarious "lovers", and Fran looked the most gorgeous as I have ever seen her as The Nanny. The mood swings and foreshadowing were funny. I loved Libby, classic Nanny characterization. I just loved all of it; even if CBS rearranged the season; I tried to watch it as if I never saw the finale.
Yeah, this ep was funny! I loved the whole wrong rooms joke. I loved when Fran laid on C.C.'s bed and C.C. got up screaming! LOL! Also loved the part when Fran she'd flown miles just to end up in bed with C.C. and when she was arguing with her Ma and she called her bighead! Another funny thing was when Max said that off couse he'd say that he was in love with his fat wife and Franny asked if he'd say she was fat. "I'm not fat technically!"
Well, now after watching all the "LOST EPISODES", I really don't understand CBS, these past episodes were really WONDERFUL, specially this one, the Cake, the Beaty parlor, the Leggy Blond, meeting Miss Drescher, I'll miss this show, and wish every member of the cast and crew,Happiness, Health, and Success in their future undertakings, Thank you and bless you all. You made the world laugh and transcended cultures, languages, colors and religions, cause the show was about the best of all of us humans, faith, Love and Optimism (with some sexual tension)...about "Seeing the Glass half full", about loving and respecting your family, cause that is where you come from and that's who you are, about loyalty, friendship, responsability... and all the things we should treasure in life... Thank you again for the good times...XOXOXO SOMEBODY GIVE ME A PROZAC!!!!!!
How can this be the last one? I just can't believe it, and I don't think it will really be real to me for a while yet. Right now, I am still laughing and enjoying these, the whole concept of "last" is foriegn to me and I can't even feel sad. I think it won't really become real for me till September, when all the new shows start coming on, and "my" show doesn't. *That's* when I will begin to feel the sadness, right now, it just feels like a loooong summer rerun season coming!! Thanks to the entire cast and crew for a great run, all the hard work over the years was treasured.
Well terrific episode! There were a lot of funny moments from the cake to "Multiply satisfied" to Osh kosh! Wonderful! The bed with Niles and Max reminded me of Niles and C.C. in Schlepped Away. It's so sad! It's truly over! I'm going to miss the anticipation! Well lets just hope it continues in syndication! Thank you Fran, Charlie, Danny, Lauren, Nicholle, Ben, Maddy, Renee, Ann, writers, directors, producers, and crew for bring us, for six years, a wonderful and delightful comedy. I will miss The Nanny so much! Thank God I've got tapes. I only need nine more episodes, and I've got every one. Well she walked up on the door of a peddling broadway producer, over the years we've grown to know and love her, it's a situation where blue blood meets blue collar, we watched the Niles and C.C. insults, the children grow up, the wedding of the century, and all because of one woman who, while sitting on a plane pitched an idea to CBS president and from that moment made us all fans. She's charmed us with her mischievous, funny, charming, witty, and loving personality. She truly is the Lucille Ball of the 90's. We've all grown to know and love Fran Fine The Nanny, but it's all because of Fran Drescher. Thank you, Fran. We all love you!
It's over. It's all over. For years we've looked forward to the nights where we would see The Nanny. Now it's gone! I'm going to miss everything about the show. To me it's the best show I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. Thank you Nanny family! Well miss you!
It's really a shame that this has to end. You'd think that they could easily write some more terrific storylines, but at least they went out with one of the funniest episodes that anyone has seen in the entire six year run. I think that there needs to be a dedicated fan fiction site. We all can't live without reading more touching, funny, romantic stories that come from the best tv show ever, The Nanny. Thank you cast, crew, writers and Fran and Peter in particular. Without them, this show would not have existed.
This episode was really funny! First of all, it's about time 'dumb and dumber found each other' (Val and the pharmacist). Also, when Fran ended up with CC and Niles with Max, that was classic! When Niles & Fran were meeting Fran Drescher, after it was over, I looked at my husband and said that was pretty good, and he said "Well, that's one way to get a plug in!"
I know that all of you wanted more of Niles and CC I did too, but here's a theory- If Cbs would have played all of the episodes in order we would not have known that they would be getting married and having a baby. The people at The Nanny knew that all the fans were wanting more scenes with them in it and they were building up to that point. I think we would have been a little more satisfied if the final episode was aired last. It would have provided more closure for all of us. All in all I thought this episode was funny it was good to see Daniel Davis back. I missed him in the first episode. All of you take care. Peace!
I liked this one, it was pretty cute! Fran playing a dual role this time as herself was good, reminded me of Bobbi Flekman. Daniel Davis looked very good in his blazer and sweater. I couldn't stop laughing when Fran scared Lauren and when she walked in on Danny and Charles in bed. Overall, pretty good. Thanks.
Hilarious. What a way to end! I loved the Yenta psychic and the interplay between
Sylvia and Fran. Val was very funny in this one too. Brighton's revelation was so funny and
Fran's reaction was perfect. I loved the mood swings. I thought Grace finished therapy a long
time ago, during the third or fourth season, but this indicates she was still going. They left
her character hanging with no real direction. Niles climbing into bed with Max was priceless
and Max was his usual self. Part of me did not like Fran being so insecure about Max and her
relationship, but the show was done very well and within the limits of the characters,
especially with the mood swings. Not much between CC and Niles in this one. Loved the segment
meeting Fran Drescher, that was a good inside joke for us fans! Being reminded of the finale
started getting me riled again about what happened, but I just enjoyed this episode, realizing
it would be the last time I would ever see a new story line again. The ending with Yetta was
another classic moment.
These last few shows were fantastic and demonstrated the quality of acting and comedy that is
unparalleled on any other network anywhere. Thanks again to Fran, Charles and the entire cast
for the happy memories and wonderful TV moments. You will be missed!!!
