Oy Vey! What a great ending to a terrific show! Everything was wrapped up nicely, (thank God for the "in previous episodes" clip! We missed soooo much!), and the birth of the twins ranks among the funniest in the annals of television. The final scenes of the Sheffields leaving the mansion were bittersweet, and it was nice to see the cast take their bows at the end. This was a fantastic series that never got the attention and critical favor it truly deserved. One of my top ten funniest shows EVER!!!! Thanks, Fran, for six great years and a lifetime of reruns!!!!!

Could've been worse...could've been better.

I LOVED IT! IT HIT YOUR HEART!

the show tonight was the most emotional i've ever seen! it was funny, and very sad especially towards the end...we will miss you the nanny! we love you!

the final rocks!! i really enjoy it a lot. 100% up for the cast. they all look great.

Overall a disappointment. There were some good moments to be sure but I expecting SO MUCH MORE!!!!!!! Niles and Chastity were wonderful.Charles great. The elevator scene was LOL.But as for the rest......tired, tired, tired. Did not understand how she couldn't name the girl Sara. THAT was so wrong. And in the end the five sighs at the door were four too many. The clips from the past shows just showed in enormous clarity how superior the past seasons were and how far the show has fallen. The only child really used was Gracie and she was great. It was so sad. I expected memorable not ersatz "Memories".The show had such potential but it's over. Kaddish has been said. Let's keep the memories or what once was. "It was all so much better then."

I thought this esp Was GREAT!! and the twins sooo cute! plus C.C. PREGENT!! WOW. and it was also funny when the doctor told her she was gonna have a baby then Nials? and C.C. both fanited! FUNNY I am REALLY gonna miss the show! but at least it went out with a bang!!

omg omg omg, i can't stop laughing and crying. This thing was bittersweet. Sweet because it was a wonderful way to come back from a three month(?) hyatus. Bitter, because it really is the beginning of the end. I wish we could have seen the missing six first. Opening with Fran and Max--loving, a bit sexy, and HILARIOUS. The bikini thing sent me over the wall. Niles and C.C.-- WOWIE!!!!!!!! The moments with Fran, Sylvia, and Yetta, loving, family times, and just wonderful. The kids were tied in well, but where did Michael go??? Was he already in Venice? I don't know about Steve Lawerence as Fran's father. His hair (toupee or not) was off. OMG, i am so slow, i just figured out that he's Steve of Steve and Edie. Boy am I quick or what?? lol:) Anywho(that's not my word:)), the tears running from my face were tears of joy, and of such sweet sorrow(that's not mine either). But I do have to admit, some of the parts were kind of mushy, too mushy, i should say, like in the Engagement ep--sappy. This really appeased my jitters for a bad finale, magnified my giddiness and buzz for the entire day, and well sadness to THE END. I wished that it was a different end because it has been used so many times. OR, I wished that others before her, did not use Fran's ending. I can't change it, nor would I want to. Thanks for the memories, Fran, Charlie, Danny, Lauren, Nichole, Ben, Maddy, Renee, Rachall, and Ann. You've done what you've done for six years together, made me laugh, made me cry, and fill a gaping hole in my life. Thanks for everything, we'll NEVER forget you. "The flashy girl from Flushing(beat) (beat), the Nanny named FRAN!!"

Awww, geez, this would have been SOOOOO much better had we actually been allowed to SEE the Niles/C.C. developments when they STARTED!!! I just thought that you had to be a true Nanny fan to like this ep. They were way too nostalgic and didn't really show what they had to offer with this kind of event. I don't think it was representative of the show we've all come to love. Although C.C. was wonderful, they made Niles far too mushy. Getting married as Fran's having her baby? It was way cornier than I would have liked. And Fran was funny, but again, way too nostalgic. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the episode, but I just don't think it was as good as we've seen. Sorry, let the death threats on me begin!

Being a longtime fan of the nanny i WAS SOMEWHAT dissapointed in thew show's finale. I really can't put my finger on it but alot of things were missing. maybe it's because we did'nt see the episodes leading up to the last hurrah. I was surprised by the Niles and C.C. news.

Fran's dream sequence at the start was a riot. Missing all of Niles' and CC's courtship was a major drag. They deserved a whole lot more than that quicky wedding. And they were out the door so fast, it didn't seem possible that they were gone forever! But the intros at the end were great - I cried all through Fran's farewell speech.

I will miss the Nanny with all of my heart. Why do all good things come to an end ?

What can I say? It was awesome.

We will miss you. Hope you come back or maybe a yearly look at the nanny in a yearly series.

I think the show would have been better if we saw all to episodes in order. CBS better live up to their word on the lost episodes. Love Niles and C.C., how could you not! Looking forward to seeing the other episodes in June! Would love to see a finale about Niles and C.C.!

This is definitely one of my favorites, right next to Maxwell's "I love you" and The Wedding. I found it bitter sweet and a fitting ending. The finale was comedic, romantic, and touching. I love how it centered in on love and paired Chasity Claire and Fran together throughout most of the episode. The reflections back about Brighton and Maggie and Shades of the Orient were the best. I love the twins being named after Rachel's twins, Jonah and Eve. I think this episode is different from the past and showed the Sheffield and Nanny family. I am going to miss the show.

I cried tears of joy and sorrow. OH MY GOD!!! It was a great show and I I LOVE THE CAST. What can I say, how will I live without The Nanny next year? I guess it will give even more motivation to meet them someday!! P.S. It was so sweet for them to add clips of the "lost" episodes. I just love this show!! Okay, I am crying now.

It was great! And sad to see them go. First off, what an outrage to see in the first three seconds all we have missed in the "lost" episodes. Oy!!!! But how great to see everyone again. Steve Lawrence's song, the elevator scene was LOL. How wonderful to see CC and Niles finally together. The delivery was a little long, but Max was so wonderful and supportive. The Max/Niles stuff was funny, and there were so many great scenes including all the characters, I didn't feel anyone got left out. Can't wait to see all that we have missed, especially Niles and CC's romance. You know, I have never missed an episode of this show, and there were alot of times I would watch an episode over and over again, because it was so uplifting and funny. I always loved the way Fran Fine could turn things around, especially when she would explain how the classly world she had invaded was no different than her Flushing one. Sure she was a little nervous, but her honest niceness always saved the day. It was great to see Max develop from a disinterested father to a loving, caring supportive husband. (And look great doing it). I hope for all the best for all of the Nanny family. I'm so glad I've got the tapes to look at and remember. Too bad she's not going to "be there" anymore.

I love the show Like they said in the Promo it really DELIVERED!!!, I t was FUNNY and Very romantic, and that little teaser of the lost episodes in the begining, I can't wait to see them,The show was very Nice, I Loved Fran Big smile when walking out of the house, cause optimism is the middle name of this show. The Opening sequence when Fran & Max are on the beach is a CLASSIC, and The Shockers???, C.C Pregnant!!!, and Chastity Claire????, that was too much, the writers did a great Job answering questions and resolving conflicts, BRAVO!!! BRAVO Mr Jacobson, BRAVISIMA Ms Drescher, and all the Cast BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!!, You are the best! Thank you very much for six wonderful years of Great T.V.

Okay, The opening scene was GROSS. I need to say that. I was dreading the rest of the show. But it was awesome. CC and Fran in the elevator, Niles moaning, then telling Max the Gentleman over there was trying to get his attention. CC pushing Fran over to discuss her problems. Chastity Clare!!!! that was great. The airport scene. Fran darling, they've been in Paris over an hour now. Fran: And do we get a phone call?! A couple of nitpicks. Fran and Max and family should have had a little more interaction. And I wish the kids would have called her Mom. I can't wait to see the rest!

It was a great ending to a great sitcom. I will miss them all. I hope to see them soon in other projects.

I loved the scene when fran was giving birth!

I loved the whole episode together. Especially when everyone is at the hospital at Franīs room. This episode really made me laugh. The finale was really great, just loved it.!

I can't believe it! Married and having a kid! Oh WAY TO GO Niles and C.C!!!!!
It was very good and very sad :(

A really great episode, great moments and some great lines. I know we all relived our favorite episodes throughout this one.

CBS spoiled the show by not running the episodes leading up to the finale. It's a shame that we could not see the events of the past 6 shows.

I thought the final episode was FABULOUS!!!!! They did an excellent job. Everything was perfect. I could have died when CC was pregnant at the end. It was poignant, funny, and sad. I will greatly miss this show.

An almost perfect end to a fabulous six years. (I can't help thinking how much BETTER it would have been if CBS had aired ALL of the episodes - IN ORDER! Even knowing ahead of time what was passed over, I still felt blindsided!) Loved Niles wrenching open the elevator doors single-handedly, the explanation for C.C.'s nausea & their continued bickering, even after marriage. Fran, Max & the babies were sweet (Oy, could those two yell! Musta been fun taping that scene! ), Yetta a riot, & the clips from all the memorable shows very touching. Bravo, one & all! Wednesdays just won't be the same with out you!

I thought the finale was just beautiful. I really loved the part when Fran found her old make-up kit and it brrought back all those wonderful memories.

The finale was incredible! I never give anything a 10 but this was definately an exception. We'll miss you guys!!!! Thanks for the laughs!!!!!

i was very happy with the way they ended the series(giving the amount of time they had to plan for it). I thought it was probably the best episode they aired this season! It was hilarious when CC(Chastity Claire... how great)and Fran were stuck in the elevator, and when Niles was moaning in the hospital hallway to get Mr. Sheffields attention. I will miss the show so much!

It was great seeing the finale but would like to see the 6 missed episodes first. It was funny, sad and happy.I will treasured it since I taped it.Thanks to the memories!

I really liked the episode!! Fran Drescher 2 major thumbs up!!! The show should have been more about just Fran and Max but it was great!!

This show was great. It's really sad to see this show go. The montage at the end when see found her old cosmetics case was sweet. Nanny will really be missed.

It wasn't as funny as I would have liked, but seeing Niles and CC FINALLY get together for real made it worth the whole hour!!

Great end! I loved it! The whole Niles and CC having a baby was so unexpected! It was a great show overall and the babies are so cute!

It was a super episode I just didn't like that Niles and CC had to get married while Fran was giving birth to her babies. And I loved the ending where they said CC was pregnant and at the tag when Fran was saying goodbye to the audience you could hear her voice was shaking and she was about to cry. The episode altogether was GREAT and I gave it all straight 10's.

I adore this ep!!! How I wish it could go on forever. I love the part when Fran says goodbye to Maggie and Brighton at the airport. I just feel so very sad that "The Nanny" has to end. Now, all I have are the reruns to console me. Hurrah for the reruns!!! I'm still waiting for the syndication of the sixth season.

Too much of a rush to finish off the series in one last episode; as a result, the show was Fran-tic. Maxwell was disappointingly detached for an expectant father. The best comedy/romance was Niles-C.C. Too much happened since the last episode aired, so the transition into the last show was choppy.

I loved it i thought it was one of the bets episodes!! I'm going to miss the show :o(

I loved it! I taped it and i've watched it four times! "Chastity Claire" -- how perfect! And as much as I love Fran and Max, I loved getting to see my personal heroine, CC, upstage her for once! Fran has a party, Niles proposes to CC. Fran goes into labor, CC accepts the proposal Fran's delivering, CC's eloping. Fran's showing off her babies, CC finds out she's pregnant. The only thing I didn't like, was that I was afraid Niles was getting a little too mushy there for a while -- but that ending comment about the underwear makes me think he'll be back to normal in no time! Cheers to CC for my favorite line: "That's why I laughed in your face, lover!" Can't wait to see the "lost episodes!

Wow, they sure packed a whole bunch of stuff in this one! This is going to be such a difficult review to write because I cannot possibly be objective! So I won't ;-) Thank you Fran and co. for caring enough about the fans to tie up all the plotlines in such a satisfying way. And BOO to CBS for not airing the other 6 episodes beforehand! It's bullsh*t that "they weren't important to the finale." I am now REALLY loking forward to June and the airing of these all-important episodes. (Now back to the show) The Niles/CC stuff was priceless -- even in a romantic relationship, they still manage to do bizarre and funny so perfectly. What chemistry! The whole premise of Fran and CC in the elevator was hysterical (shades of Whine Cellar). I saw some of this episode taped live so the only nit I have is with the editing. So many great things cut and alot of what was left was crammed together too disjointedly. As usual, Fran was terrific, even braving the underlying melancholy that was evident a few times to be the comedic genius she is. Lauren is simply par excellance. Daniel and Charles, as always, were handsome, charming, and talented. Loved Steve Lawrence as Morty. Fran has great taste in music! The stars this show attracts are fabulous and always very classy. The other peripherals -- Renee, Ann, the kids, were also fabulous, as usual. The curtain call at the end was very sweet. And the standing ovation was well deserved for 6 wonderful LOL funny, warm, charming years from an exceptional cast and crew! Thank you for making me laugh and cry and love these vivid, unique characters. It's hard to let them go, but I'm looking forward to seeing everyone move on to even bigger and better things. Best of luck and thank you!

Thank you to the creator of this website and to all the fans who gave us such a long and wonderful ride. No matter how much you miss seeing The Nanny, we'll miss doing it more.
Frank Lombardi

have not enjoyed a show more than the nanny in years...infact its the only sitcom we watch.

i was shocked. channel 4 was out on the tv with the vcr. so i could'nt tape it i can't belive it's over.

well, i've got a lot to say. overall i was dissapointed. it had a couple of great scenes like the elevator i loved. yetta and sylvia were hylarious as always, the rest was not very good.
1. steve lawrence, i was so dissapointed. he didnt fit in at all. morty as a singer just doesnt fit. it was totally unconvincing. bad move.
2. the last scene was way overdone, was she having a breathing problem?? she took soo many sighs!
3. the babies were so fake, what were those, bread sticks?! it was terrible. also, they werent convincing parents after the birth scene. the babies should hav been a bigger focus, which would have been easier if they were real.
4. i cant believe those names! they had no meaning, i was hoping for a sara, that was a given in my mind.
5. I liked seeing CC's softer side, when she answered niles i felt so much kindness and warmth, but her becoming pregnant i predicted early on, it was an easy out. they had a lot of overused, tired ideas in there, including sylvia and the fat jokes, come on, after she lost the weight it wasn't even a little funny.
do you think they paid that lady in the audience at the end to say "so will you" when fran said we would be missed, i mean, how did they know to put the camera on her. on the other hand, that elevator scene was really funny. i thought that was the part that would be cliched and predictable, but it was the best one. i have had that song replaying in my head all day, nonstop, its driving me insane. but its just cause i liked the scene. especially when fran sang "im hear to remind you" it was so cute. fran singing always sticks out in my head, its so funny. i am defitly a top fan, but i was dissapointed. you really had to love and adore the show to appretiate it (which i did, dont get me wrong,) but istill think they could have done better.

It was good with some parts that reminded us how funny it used to be. But the parts with the flash backs were so sad. Especaly the senes with the box {shades of the orenit} I 'll miss the nanny. I hope they do what they did for the new cosbys. Some day in the future.

Great show!!!! I laughed and cried. overall a 10.

WOW!!! Not as great as I expected, but I think that is mostly due to the fact that CBS didn't run the episodes in order. It was funny, and I liked where Fran spoke at the end. I will really miss this show. I really liked this episode, but I think I expected too much. I personally didn't like the beginning scene (Fran's dream). There were many funny parts, though. I'll have to respond more to the show after I see it a second time (I recorded it, of course!) The show had a really great crew and a really great group of writers. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we will all miss the show. Thanks for a wonderful 6 years, and good luck to everybody. Hope to see you all in many more shows and movies to come!!

I WILL MISS ALL OF YOU GUYS. AND I CRYED MY EYES OUT WHEN YOU ALL LIFT.

I started laughing at the opening scene ( how did they convince Fran to do that one !) & kept on enjoying the show right through to the last moment. Considering how much the writers & actors had to tie up in under an hour it was well done. Highlights for me included the opening beach scene, Max showing Fran the Anniversary Blimp message, Max buying 'his partner' Niles the rose, Steve dancing with Max & Sylvia with Max & of course the whole bizarre but hysterical delivery room scene including "Chastity Claire's" crazy wedding to Niles, Max's enthusiastic encouragement for Fran in her delivery & Sylvia's first encounter with her new grandson. I'll definitely be at a loss for entertainment come wednesday nights next fall. Thanks to Fran, Charles, Daniel, Lauren & all the cast & crew for 6 great years & thousands of terrific memories of The Nanny. Hope we get to see everyone soon in their new projects.

I loved this episode, although it was kind of a dissapointment for the finale. I'd have to say that the Niles and Chastity Claire (C.C.-lol) relationship is kind of twisted, but cute, and a big surprise to people. It would have helped a lot if we had seen the "missing" episodes (I'm soo mad at CBS for cancelling them for 3 whole months!!), but at least they showed clips at the end. Brighton and Maggie moving to Europe? When did this come up (Too bad for Gracie)? I liked how they showed the cast at the end and they all took their last bow on the stage. It was a good way to wrap up the show, but it is too bad that they had to wrap it up in the first place. Thanks for great shows that made us laugh and cry!!! (Wouldn't it be great if Niles and C.C. went off and did their own show? You know kind of how Rhoda branched off of The Mary Tyler Moore Show!!)

I think that SOMEONE was visiting this site cause they addressed a few things we were complaining about in the Finale. I really liked the episode, and I only hope I can catch the 'lost' eps so Niles and Chastity Clare's courtship makes a little more sense. Well, that "in bed scene" sorta made THAT obvious. I really loved the ep in all of it's aspects though, and I am only sad because I won't get many more rip-roaring funny jokes NEmore. *sob* but, there's always taped episodes and syndication. Lates!

My favorite show has come to an end. It's the end of an era to me, but we still have the reruns and I still have my episodes on tape. The show started off a little slow, but picked up in the second half. Fran and CHASTITY (how funny!!) in the elevator was classic. The final fifteen minutes were very emotional to me. It was great the way the cast all came out to take their bows. The show will be missed.

I laughed and I cried. Fran, Charlie, Daniel, Lauren, Nicholle, Ben, Maddy, Renee, Ann, and Rachel you guys are truely gonna be missed in my house.

I thought this was a very good one, but I do believe that it could have been a tad better!!! I did cry at the end though, And I loved the scene when shes seeing mags and brighton off and the flashback to when they are little!!! I am so sad to see it go~!

10 10 10! How can you not love this ep? My only q is who chose the name Chastity Claire? Hilarious. I think we kinda got jipped a little bit. I would have loved a 9mo. later and show C.C. (Chastity Claire- that is so funny) in Fran's postition. But that must mean we're getting something to REALLY wrap it up? :) Bravo, cast crew, etc.

10's across the board! Thank you cast, producers, and crew for 6 wonderful seasons! I'm still hanging in there for the summer "flashbacks". And then there's syndication and my tape library... you'll never really be gone!

It made me cry. I thought it was a wonderful way to end The Nanny. They could have been more creative about naming the twins though. I thought they would have named the girl after Max's late wife Sara. As I said it was a good way to end.

Thank you Fran, for giving us the stories we've been asking for. I know there was a lot more there before the editing - major boos to CBS for forcing this quick ending.
Thank you Fran, Peter, Charles, Danny, Lauren, Nicolle, Benjamin, Madeline, Renee and my dear, sweet Ann. No matter how bad I would sometimes feel, you always made me laugh!

I have put a lot of thought into what I would say about this ep. I even looked at other comments to figure out what I thought. I have watched it a total of three times and I see something different in it everytime. I guess I should begin at the beginning. I personally was completely repulsed by the bikini scene (though the last time I watched it, I jsut kept my eye on CS and for some reason I wasn't repulsed anymore). I saw the beginning though and prepared myself for a bad ep. Boy was I wrong. Usually I don't laugh at Sylvia, but those exercise scenes were classic ("after all the planning for the party, you're too tired to have me do a light work out). The party was a hoot ("YOu mean that blimp," "Oh YOu'll get your answer... when Fran who I am sure is no longer standing behind me reports back from Yenta Central"). CC and Fran in the elevator, I was prepared for the cheesy elevator birth scene. I was not ready for them to sing one of my fave songs on this board (BTW thanks for "I'll Never Fall in Love Again") IT may have been a little over the top to have Niles/CC get married while Fran gave birth, but, it worked. Loved the flashback of B and Maggie at the airport. And what can I say, I am a sucker for montages, especially if they aren't the Fan/Max kissy ones. I will admit, things were rushed. This one doesn't go down as my fave ep of all time, but it was more than a keeper. It is tough saying goodbye to characters that have been so fun to watch, but I wish the cast and crew luck. I also look forward to seeing "the lost eps".

I loved the show tonight! It rocked, now I only wish I could see the rest of the season...... anywayz if the show had to end, I'm glad it went out like this. The only part that I didn't LOVE was Niles and CC's wedding. It was great they got married, but in a delivery room? Oh well! Awesome show!

This ep. was great and really gave us fans some kind of closer. It now has finally sunk in that my favorite tv show has come to an end. If only CBS hadn't booted them, the finale could have been twice as good as it was. "Think peace" and continue to watch reruns everyone.

I like the finale, though it could have been better. I'm sad, of course, that the show is over. It's not my favorite episode, but i thoguht it was good.

The Nanny is such a wonderful show and it is one of my favorite series of all time. When it was on, it really sparkled! Unfortunately, it lost steam and verve this season, almost as if everyone involved were waiting for it to die. The final episode showed this. The story line was a rush to tie things up and it was not very funny. I found it depressing and sad to see a great show close like this. On the positive side, I'd like to thank Fran Drescher, all the stars, and writers who gave us those incredible moments that will live in our hearts and minds. The Nanny made an indelible impression on me and it will always be with me as a wise and scintillating joy ride! Even if things didn't always work out in the end, at least we'll always have Paris...

I thought that the finale was the greatest! I Love the entire cast and I'm so disappointed that the show is not going to be on anymore. This was the greatest show! I love you Fran!

I LOVED the show--I thought it was wonderful--i'm so glad niles and c.c. finally got married--i'm glad she's pregnant--i knew it the minute she said she had been feeling sick--I'm gonna REALLY miss the show :(

i loved it--it was good to finally learn c.c's real name--would have definitely loved to see the missing eps first--one thing they didn't tell us--what's niles' last name?!!!!!!!

Nitpick:: Chasity Clair (LOL C.C.) was in the elevator drinking liqior and then a few minutes later she finds out she was pregnant? [webmaster's note: yeah, so? Was she supposed to read the future to know she shouldn't be?]

AWESOME SHOW!! THEY SAID IT WOULD DELIVER AND IT DID!! Fran and the entire cast were terrific. I have watched and rewatched and can't seem to get enough. Each time it makes me laugh out loud and cry. The delivery scenes were priceless as were Niles and C.C. The ending was great too. That's when I really lost it, especially the curtain call. I just wish we would have seen all the episodes and in order. It would have made it just the much more enjoyable. The previews at the beginning just make me really want to see them and CBS HAD BETTER DELIVER THEIR END OF THE BARGAIN!!! It would be nice, if after they air those "lost episodes", that they air the finale in full again. But that may be asking too much.
THANK YOU TO FRAN DRESCHER AND THE ENTIRE CAST AND CREW FOR SIX WONDERFUL YEARS FOR A SHOW THAT IS GOING TO BE GREATLY MISSED. WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF THE RIDE. BEST WISHES FOR THE FUTURE.

It was wonderful!!! Thank you Fran, cast, and staff. You truly will always be remembered! Perhaps in the future we will see The Nanny reunions, we can only hope. CBS, you should be ashamed at not airing the 5 missing episodes. How can you say they had no pertinence to the finale. Thank you Fran for the missing episode flashbacks and the goodbye.

I loved this episode even thought It could have been a little better but I thought the best part was when Fran opened the make-up case and thought of all the memories she had from the New York house. I almost cried at that,I didn't like it that they had to make Fran go back in because it ruined the really emotional part but I sure will miss the Nanny. I hope Fran has a lot of luck with future movies !!!

Going to miss Niles and CC! But hey, they are finally(!!)together

I have to say I was rather disappointed with this one. I'm sure it was because we've missed so many episodes, but things between Niles and C.C. seemed so rushed. The birth of the babies seemed almost an aside instead of a major, life-changing event. Fran had the babies and then everything was pretty much back to business-as-usual. (I also can't believe Max sat there filling out forms while Fran labored in another room.) Fran's getting stuck in an elevator was terribly cliched, but it did lead to the best line, "Do you think I'll make a good wife?" "No, but Niles will." Other than that, I just didn't think it was very funny. The wedding episode was much, much funnier. Still, I'm sad to see it go, but happy I can watch the funnier episodes every day in syndication. :)

I loved this episode!!! I can't believe we know what C.C.'s real name is! I've always been trying to figure it out. The beginning was gross! I am so glad Fran didn't really look that bad. When will we see the missing episodes???

Loved it!!! It was just a shame we had to see it before we saw the 6 episodes leading up to it, I feel like we missed alot. In any case, it was the perfect mix of comedy, romance and memories. The final curtain call was a moment to treasure, thank god for vcr's. All we can hope now is that CBS sticks to their word and show's the missing episodes so we can have something to tie it all together. Fantasic show. Many thanks to such a great cast. It was a wonderful run. We will miss you dearly.

There was no better way that this show could have gone out!! It was funny and romantic to the hilt! Of course I wish it wasn't ending like most fans that I know!! Finally Niles and C.C. got married and are expecting their first child to boot!!For no more reason than that I wish they could have continued the show--could you just have imagined the insults flying then?? I cannot WAIT to see the lost episodes that they showed clips to at the beginning of the last episode!!

I LOVED IT!! The best part was when C.C. accepted Niles proposal and then he pulled the doors apart--priceless!! The retrospective ending was great--I cry every time I see it!! I can't stop watching this final episode!! I can't wait to see the 6 lost episodes!! I will always remember this show, especially the whole Niles and C.C. relationship!! You guys were GREAT!!!

I LOVED it it was so funny how Niles and C.C. got married while Fran was having the babies. The when they found out C.C. was pregnant.

I just recently became a Nanny fan from watching the syndicated episodes and yet I still cried at the end of this show! I thought it was truly wonderful. Congradulations to Fran and Max on the birth of their twins and to Niles and CC (Chasity Claire...LOL) on their marriage and bundle of joy to come. The most memorable scene was proabably the end and my favorite line was when Fran yelled out to CC "I AM SO FREAKIN HAPPY FOR YOU"...LOL. CONGRADULATIONS TO THE CAST AND CREW OF THE NANNY FOR A WONDERFUL SIX YEARS....WE WILL MISS YOU!

I have to admit that this truely was one of the best episodes ever. I can't believe that: C.C. stands for Cahstity Claire, Morty/Steve Lawerence is pretty good looking and has a great voice (obviously)! Well, good luck to all the cast and crew of "The Nanny"--not that you really need it--you're all so brilliant!

I thought it was hilarious. Even though i heard it wasn't very funny, but i never listen to the critics. I thought the opening scene was great...we got to see Charles one last time in a bathing suit...he looked GREAT..fran was so funny with that beach part and "did she just call me MOBY?" I though the CC and Niles thing was outstanding and the CC name thing was great too. I only wish they told us Niles last name? We still don't know. I really want to see the other episodes i can't wait.

Would love to see a spin-off starring Niles and CC.They are so hilarious-definitely the funniest part of the show.

It coulda been better... The labor thing was too overdone and lloonngg. Val the Godmother? Yikes! Niles and CC, thanks to "that network" got the shaft. They should have gotten a better wedding--unrealistic-is there a little thing about a marriage license standing in the way? CC finding out she was pregnant was too much.

i, like the rest of my fellow "Nanny" fans, am sad that the show ended, but what an ending! everything was very well done. Nile's reaction when C.C. said yes was very good. the best scene though, was the double-take everyone did when the priest said C.C.'s name aloud. also, did anyone know, or even suspect that C.C. was going to be pregnant?

Although I personally thought the second half far outshone the first half, it was a fair ending to a comedy that suffered from a lack of promotion from the network. I refuse to comment on the entire show, having not seen the previous five that led up to it. CBS, in my opinion, made it difficult for any fan, or critic, for that matter to comment on a storyline where over HALF the story arcs were never shown. The cast the crew on this show have remained head and shoulders above the fray, bowing to the insufferable degradation from the POWERS THAT BE by taking a high road and refusing to turn this into a shouting match. Their responses have been brief, and fan oriented, and they deserve a great deal of credit on their behavior. While I may have wished the show had followed a somewhat "different" path this season, I will forever remember it as a "oyful" fun-loving romp on the difference between classes and culture here in the US. Thank heavens for video tapes! I look forward to seeing such talented actors and actresses as they embark upon new ventures.

Would love to see this episode again

Chastity Claire!? I kept thinking about that at work and laughing! Of course, everyone kept looking at me funny but I'm used to that :) The whole episode was so funny. I loved the elevator scene! "I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' no babies!" Niles and C.C. wedding and the birth scene were all great ("push!" "Don't tell me what to do!") I especially loved the way the montage (did I spell that wrong?) at the end was funny--I could have been crying through it realizing this was the end but instead I laughed. The only complaint I have is not being able to see the Niles/C.C. relationship develop from the beginning--thankfully they put in those beginning clips and info was provided on this site or I would have been totally lost!

I THOUGHT THE ENDING WITH FRAN SITTING ON THE STAIRS HOLDING HER MAKEUP CASE RELECTING ON THE DAYS GONE BY WHILE THE WAY WE WERE WAS PLAYING HAD TO BE THE SADDEST PART.

I loved the way they tied up the loose ends. The only thing that I hate was that we still didn't find out what Niles last name. I loved the flashback and they really did pick out some of the best scenes and included everybody. I am just glad that the show ran long enough to show the reruns. And I hope that within the next few years there will be a reunion show.

Thanks to everyone who has been part of The Nanny family for offering a finale that, for the most part, kept the spirit of love and laughter that distinguished the series. I've only been truly hooked on a few shows in my 40+ years-- and this episode of The Nanny is the best series conclusion I've ever seen. Every character was honored and well represented, story lines that we, the fans, most cared about were developed and brought beautifully to closure. Like everyone else, I can't resist one more dig at CBS for botching it so badly and creating the impression of frantic scrambling for the plot, when The Nanny team had worked out everything so perfectly. I nearly fell off the couch laughing when C.C. turned out to be Chastity-Claire; I guess the only thing we didn't find out was Niles' last name. I thought it was touching to have the twins share their names with Rachel Chagall's children; Catherine is a family name for us, but I still was hoping it would be Eve Sarah. Steve Lawrence was a hoot as Morty-- and Time After Time was a great choice for his serenade to Max from Fran. I want to underscore an earlier comment about the brilliance with which the music has been chosen throughout the series to enhance the plot-- just as Barb has done here on the page. I liked the conversation on the dance floor between Maxwell and Sylvia-- but I did wish that he'd been allowed a slightly more loving response to her acknowledgement that living with the Fines can be a challenge. I thought Yetta was used well throughout. I was so choked up when Maxwell, Fran and Grace, with the twins, said goodbye at the airport to Maggie and Brighton, with Fran still seeing them in her mind as they were when she first arrived. That scene was so poignant and so true-- I watched the rest of the show with my arms tight around my nine year old. The ending, honestly, wasn't that original (variations on the theme used at the end of Upstairs, Downstairs and Cheers, just to name two), but it fit the show. And, really, the final song had to be by Streisand. I will never understand why the series lost favor with the critics (see the finale reviews, for example), and will think twice before committing again to any CBS series.(Not that they'll ever find another one this good-- and they certainly ignored the treasure they had.) But I'm sure that people around the world will keep watching for years-- as I will through syndication and tape-- and that The Nanny love of life, humor and optimism will capture their hearts too. Thanks again to all!

I think that this was the best episode yet, and HOW CAN THEY END ON NILES AND CC GETTING MARRIED AND CC BEING PREGNANT?????? How can they do this to us???????????????????????????????????????????? Really, though, this was a really good episode, and I don't know how I'll live without my Nanny!

The Nanny Is the time me and my family are together we really missed all ready.

IT WAS THE BEST YET. WHEN SHE WAS LOOKING BACK AT THE HOUSE, WAS SOOOOOO WONDERFUL ALL THE MEMORIES!!

Well, it could've been a little better, but it was still a nice ending to an EXCELLENT TV series. Thank you Fran Drescher for brightening up my weeks for so many years. Thanks to the writers and producers for making this comedy work so well. And thanks to the webmaster for this excellent web page! It's been fun!

I am so said it's over. It is my favorite show of all time. The ending was'nt very heartfelt or sentamental, but If it had been I'd still be crying three days later. I'll miss The Nanny very much.

No, please, don't go

It was the perfect ending to the perfect show! I loved the comedy and romance, the birth of the twins was hillarious, and I loved the fact that C.C and Niles got married!!!! It made me cry to see it end. All my favorite shows always get canceled! Thank God for re-runs. I just discovered this show a couple of months ago, too. Two thumbs up to all the cast and crew. The Nanny will be missed.

Perfect. An end with a flair!

I thought the final show was great! I will dearly miss The Nanny. I hope there will be a few reunion shows over the next few years. The potential for Niles and CC are endless!

Very bittersweet. Lots of precious scenes left on the cutting room floor, but then that's not The Nanny's fault. I appreciate the effort that they did to help us 'catch-up' to the storyline.
Elevator scene is a classic. I have always loved the CC/Fran interactions. I wish Peter did a cameo or at least introduced at the end. But then I can also understand that they were just intoducing the cast.
It's been great watching those kids grow up right before our eyes.
Thank you for touching our hearts and bringing so much laughter into our lives.

It will only be made right when CBS shows the missing 6 episodes, in order. Then they follow it with the finale, AS IT WAS ORIGINALLY DONE! With the edited scenes restored. By cutting those scenes to make room for the missing episode highlights, they destroyed the continuity of the show.
Thank you everyone for 6 wonderful years. Especially you, Daniel. Every time I think of it, I'm reminded of the young Judy Garland, singing to the photograph of Clark Gable, "You made me love you..." - 'cause that's exactly what you did, Mr. Davis. Don't be a stranger, OK?

the nanny is really my favorite show and it is the best show there's gonna be ever in show history i'm sure of that. It's the best!!!

I loved It!! Not as good as my favorite, Strange Bedfellows, but excellent. I wish we could see what Niles and C.C. name their kid!!! I cried of happiness and sorrow! I will miss it soo much!! Great job cast!!!

What a great episode to end the show. I laughed, I cried, it was just amazing. I'll never forget how six years ago "The Nanny" came into my life...who knew that one show could bring so much joy. To the cast, crew, writers, and staff: your wonderful talent has touched my life. I could always rely on "The Nanny" to give me a laugh when I needed it. Thank you for the laughs, you'll be greatly missed.

This episode was the saddest episode I have ever seen! I love the show and the song " Memories" made it a lot harder to deal with it going off! I wish they didn't have to take it off! They had so many unresolved issues!

she will be missed

Was this the last eppisode? The ending confused me

I thought the last episode was great! I haven't seen many of the episodes because I just became a Nanny fan! (I'm always a little slow). I was crying at the end when Fran walked out the door but i giggled when she walked back in for Yetta. And for all of you like me, WETA is going to start the series over starting next Thursday the 27th. It comes on at 6:30pm everyday! It's coming on now but it's at the end of the 5th seanson. They're not going into the 6th. Okay, well, just thought I'd share my thoughts and that little piece of info!

I absolutely LOVED this ep!!!! It was just wonderful, everything about it was just fantastic. It was sooo funny, Fran and C.C. (Chastity Claire) ha ha in the elevator, what do you get when you fall in love? Great. Morty singing, Niles and CC, the best, what we have been waiting for, married in the operating room, awesome, mommy C.C.? Classic! The Memories scene and even when they introduced them all at the end. I just was so impressed with this one. It was so emotional, hilarious, and so sweet, I'm a sucker for romance. Ugh, I could go on and on, but I'll close. What a way to finish, what a memorable way to say goodbye. Thanks.

For real, I started to cry when she had the memories. I just wanna know something, when x-actly are you guys showing the Lost Episodes? I really, really wanna know. I am obsessed over the Nanny and I freaked when I heard that this was their final episode. How could you guys do this to me?! I have nothing to look forward to anymore after I have seen all of the episodes! Well, ya gotta end somewhere. Anyway, I just wanna say that I love you guys and I just want you to know that I am your biggest fan, REALLY!! I am as obsessed with you as much Fran is with Barbara Streisand (sorry if I spelled it wrong). Bye!!

I don't even see the last episode and I'm crying just right now. I'm missing the show...It's been so many years with all the great stuff and the funny histories...For me the TV is over. In south america we could watch the finals episodes in order...(I'won't tell a word about it) We the nanny fans are over all the world... It's incredable what a great show does, isn't it?

I thought that it was very good, although it annoys me not to see what will happen. I cried so much at the end! When they showed the flashbacks, even just when they quickly flashed to young Maggie/Brighton when they were standing in the terminal... I wanna see how Maggie's first year at marriage goes, and Gracie in high school, and Brighton in Europe (poss. romance?) or deciding to go to colllege, and NILES AND CC's romance (Chastity Clare ...lol), and Max and Fran w/ Jonah and Eve, and life in California! There's so much more to see, and while the show didn't like "it's ova!" it looked like another beginning, but one that we're not invited to... that is what annoys me. Overall it was good. Max and Fran look so genuinely in love... i LOVE their chemistry! Niles was such a cutie in it too! I basically loved it, and it gave me a tru feeling that "they all lived happily ever after" as corny as that is, but it's a good, complete (and incomplete) feeling. There was some comedy, but not like other eps, but I don't think that that's what the writers were struggling for so much. I think that they wanted the viewers to walk away with something after these six years... some laughs, some tears, lots of love, and a final look at six great years of this satirical/wacky fairy-tale story!

Although the series has slipped in the ratings, "The Nanny" is still the best show ever. The "I Love Lucy" of the 90's. Well written, acted, directed. The early episodes were to die for! Like buttah! We laughed our tuchas off!
The finale was hilariuos and even tho Niles acted a bit sappy... "IT DOESN'T MATTA!" The revealation of C.C.'s name "Chastity Claire" was to die for! Icing on the cake when Niles shouted, "I love it!" And C.C.'s wedding veil made out of hosiptal green scrubs... LMAO.
Very much enjoyed the ending with the monatge. Very touching especially when Fran picks up her pink "Shades of the Orient" cosmetics bag.. I was verklempt to say the least! That's how it all started.. That's how she became.. The Nanny!
Mozel Tov to the entire cast of The Nanny and especially to Fran Drescher. She is "The Nanny" and shall always be in our hearts. Looking forward to future projects... maybe a Niles & C.C. spin off? We should be so lucky!

soooooo sorry that it's over !!!!!!!!!!!!

9's across the board! Morty singing the song from Max to Fran, Max buying his partner Niles a rose, Fran/CC moments have always been enjoyable, and the list goes on. The birth of twins has long been the icing on the cake for me, but then not so much (to borrow from one of my soon-retiring favorite shows as well). This one just left a little bit to be desired but not much. Overall, I enjoyed from start to finish, the best moments being from the "Shades of Jade" and what started her here in the first place. I was a little disappointed but not much, and considering they had to end on some quickies, not bad at all. Kudos to Fran, Charlie, and the rest of the cast for a great season and a great series. You will be missed!

I loved it!!!

My daughter coaxed me into writing this on her computer, she and I have watched the Nanny for the entire run of the show and we will both truly miss it.It was one of the few shows that we watched together and really enjoyed. The finale was pretty good but could have been better.

Hasn't this just been a fabulous show? It is truly my favorite show of all time. I have all of the episodes on tape. I have seen a lot of TV shows, but I have never been touched and drawn to a show like I was to The Nanny. I want to thank the cast and crew for their hard work over the past six years. Now for my review of the finale: First, I have to admit that I was never too keen on the idea of getting Niles and CC together and still don't think it was the best move. (I know many of you disagree). But, they are married and I think it was done well. I thought the opening scene was really gross, but I loved the part in the exam room. I felt that the anniversary part was very slow and not very good. Did anyone notice that picture of Max on the cake, who was that supposed to be? I also think that they never should have had someone play Fran's father. No offense to Steve Lawrence, but after five years and only a few episodes left they shouldn't being changing the little quirks of the show (at least they never told us Niles last name!) I loved the scenes in the elevator (STRESS HAS JUST BEEN ADDED!) I also loved the hopital scenes and Chastity Clare (I was laughing so hard I almost fell off the bed!) The birth was really sweet, but I don't think they should have made CC pregnant (too cliche!) The airport scene killed me! When Brighton looked like he was going to cry, I just got hysterical. I was much more emotional with that scene than with the last one. As regards the last scene, I also agree with others that felt she took way too many breaths and could have chosen a more flattering outfit. Also, why not use real babies, it was so obvious. I also really loved the curtain call. I was great to know that they appreciate us. It seems they have a much closer connection to their fans than do other shows. Although, I have complained a lot I really did love this episode. Can't wait for the lost six. I will never forgive CBS for their treatment of The Nanny and its fans.

i cried so hard at the end. it was so difficult to let go of show that has had such a huge impact on all of our lives. i really started to deliver the tears when they started playing "Memories" I'm going to miss this show!

the program is very funny, I am fan of fran.

yes, I'm sick that the show has ended and mad because I didn't get to see those missing episodes.

I thought the finale was one of the best episodes (I haven't seen the wedding, though). It's great to finally see Niles and C.C. together. It's been far too long. Everything was great!

Even though CBS showed clips from the shows they didn't air it was as if we were missing some crucial information. I couldn't get the total feel of it being the last show. Boo CBS!

I never give any thing a 10 but this ep. was truly an exception. Everything about it was so funny and a little sad. Chastity Claire (OMG) LOL! I will remember all the laughter and the tears this show has brought to me. They are kind of like a second family. If you guys are reading these. Thank you so much for these 6 years and hope to see you guys in future endeavors. Especially to Mr. Shaughnessy keep up the great work! To the cast of The Nanny, "thanks for the memories!" You will be remembered forever!

I thought the show was terrific. It was hilarious, but I lost it at the end with all the memory clips. I will always hold The Nanny in my heart. There will always be a place for Fran Fine Sheffield and the rest of the show . I hope they have a reunion. It was nice to see the final bows too. Thanks Fran for the fantastic shows!!!!!

I would have enjoyed this ep so much more if it hadn't been for those 'missing' episodes... hopefully CBS will air them this summer and I'll be able to watch them in order. I LOVED the ending! It made me realize just how much I'm going to miss the show...

Well, the interesting thing about giving input on this episode, is that even though it is the finale, we still have the lost episodes (and SEASON SEVEN if we keep hoping) But as I sit here listening to "The Way We Were", I am sad to think that we have closed a significant chapter in the lives of some wonderfully entertaining and talented writers and actors. I have never enjoyed a show and series as much as I have enjoyed this one.
So, ON to the finale. Thanks so much for the sequence of events at the beginning. It really helped us keep perspective. I was furious at CBS for not allowing us to see these wonderful episodes, but then my emotion turned into solid laughter at Fran and Max together on the beach...What a classic moment! I was entertained for the next solid hour...what a perfect ending to the best story I have ever heard. A birth , a wedding, an end and a new beginning. I have to score this perfectly across the board, for giving us everything we ever wanted. You continued to surprise us right up until the end. I got the feeling you did not want it all to end, and neither did we.
To Fran, Charles, Daniel, Lauren, Nicholle, Ben, and Maddy....Thanks for the memories!!

I will miss "The Nanny" very much, but I really enjoy the last episode of my favorite T.V. series.

I will miss all of you guys and I cried at the very end when you all came out on stage and said good-bye.

Well, people I don't know about you, but I loved it! I admit some things were wild and silly, but when it came down to it... that's our Fran. I will miss her and remember those wondeful Wednesday nights when I could forget the world with all it's troubles, sit back, and laugh for just a little while. Thank you, Fran and thank you, fans everywhere. I will never forget the many happy moments we shared.

I liked this episode, but it sad, becuase it was the finale.

I love this show so much.

I Loved every corney, contrived, obvious minute of it, BRAVO. I saw every plot line coming straight at me, and I laugh and cried anyway "You know how hard is it to find a man like Niles, he irons rags." Gee wiz, I can't get mine to put his glass in the sink. THANK YOU FRAN DRESCHER FOR CREATING SUCH A WONDERFUL SHOW THAT HAS REALLY MADE ME LAUGH. Thank you to every one in the cast, the writers, yadda, yadda, AND thank you to Barb for creating this web site.

It was a really awesome episode. I really enjoyed it.

great! really great!

The finale was absolutely wonderful!!!!! I loved everything about it, it was funny, sad, sweet and romantic, everything a finale should be. There were so many great moments. Morty singing, Niles and Chastity Claire tying the knot in the operating room, the elevator scene, Brighton and Maggie saying goodbye (I cried when they showed them as young kids), the birth, the memory scene, even the very last scene where they introduced the cast, nice touch, everything was great. They did a superb job, what a way to complete the funniest and most well written comedy show on tv. Let my just say I truly loved how the Niles/C.C. storyline ended, they are my favourites, I'm a sucker for romance. I give the finale a 10 in every aspect, bravo!! Thanks.
