Fran was sitting at the new kitchen table enjoying some time with her mother, who was drinking coffee, and Yetta, who kept insisting Bubbe Sophie had come to her in a dream.

"There's gonna be a big fight, I'm telling ya!" Sylvia and Fran didn’t seem to believe her, so she changed the subject.

"Frannie, I haven't seen the two big kids lately?"

Fran looked at Yetta. "Yetta, Maggie and Brighton don't live here anymore."

Niles and C.C walk through the kitchen laughing.

"That's not Maggie and Brighton?" Yetta asked, pointing to Niles and C.C.

"Ma, you're a few fries short of a Happy Meal! Fran is not that old. All though she did wait until me and her father were almost in our graves before deciding to give me a grandchild," Sylvia said chomping away at the bagel.

Fran turned to look at Sylvia, "Ma, you're blaming me? This from a woman who shops for medicine in the candy aisle?"

"What? It was prescribed to me."

"Ma, Smarties are not considered prescription medicine."

"Well, fine, you tell that to my quack Californian doctor," Sylvia said attempting to talk with a mouth full of bagel.

"Ok Ma, whateva," said Fran, burping Eve and putting her in the baby seat. She took Jonah from Yetta and started to feed him.

C.C. eyed the fridge and started walking towards it.

Just then, Maxwell came in waving a piece of paper. "C.C., I will not hire someone like this to be in our sitcom, forget it!"

C.C. didn't take her eyes off her goal. "Alright fine, it was just a suggestion but we're never going to find a celebrity in time..." She opened the freezer in mid sentence. "...WHO ATE ALL THE ICE CREAM?!" she screamed as she walked over and stood next to Maxwell with her arms crossed.

"You did!" everyone told her.

"When? I don't remember?!"

"That's because you've had so much food in one night you could feed a whole village of starving children in Ethiopia." Niles looked at her.

"That reminds me, Niles what are we having?"

"A baby," Niles laughed. He loved the fact that he and CC were starting a family.

C.C. shook her head. "No, for dinner you boob. Didn't we agree to go out to eat this evening?" She went over and smacked him in the arm.

"Well, not if you keep hitting me. I'm not into that," he joked again. C.C. turned away from him and he smacked her in the bottom, which made her jump. She turned around and smacked him the arm again.

Fran and Max just sat there, witnesses to the little fight. Of course to Niles and C.C. it was playful and flirty. "Yetta said there was gonna be a big fight," Fran commented.

"Oh this? This isn't fighting. This is fore-play," C.C. said laughing as she walked into the living room.

"She likes it rough!" Niles said, smiling to Max and Fran.

"Boy looks like someone did one hell of a job knocking that blonde up," Yetta commented.

"Why thank you," Niles said, smiling at Yetta as he went into the living room after C.C.

"Those two are something else," Max said turning his eyes to Fran. He sat down next to her at the table as he bounced Eve on his knee.

"Ma we better get back, Morty and Sammy are waiting for us to go to dinner." Sylvia handed Jonah to Fran and grabbed her bag.

"Alright. Who's Sammy?" Yetta asked, taking Sylvia's hand and walking out the door.

The phone rang.

"Hello. Oh, nice to hear from you again, glad you tracked her down. Yes, of course she's here. One moment please."

"Who is it?" Fran asked.

"It's for C.C."

"MS. BAAABCOOOCK. TELEPHONE." Fran screamed as Max covered his ear that was closest to her.

C.C. came back in and took the receiver. "This is C.C. Babcock. Ohh hello Noel, how are things? You did? ...That's great, how's mummy? ...Wonderful! I sound different? What do you mean? Ohh, well so much has happened to me lately." C.C. paused as she patted her tummy. "Well for one thing I got married. Yes! No I'm serious, yes. To who? Niles. YES THE BUTLER!!" C.C. got louder. "Excuse me, but mummy has no say in this. Noel you better not tell her, Noel, Noel? Damn!" She slammed the phone down.

Niles enters and looks at C.C. "What's wrong?"

"My damn brother Noel just phoned me out of the blue, now he is off to tell mother what a foolish thing I've done," C.C. said holding her head.

"Which was what?" Niles asked stepping closer to her.

"Marrying you," she said looking directly at him. "Don't you see, once he tells her, its over. She'll rush down here and do everything in her power to break us up."

"She's a mother," Fran commented.

"She's a Babcock," C.C. corrected.

"C.C. I had no idea you never told your family about your marriage to Niles," Max said.

"My mother will have a fit! Even my brother thinks I'm nuts; he just told me I should re-sign with ........the place."

"When is she coming?" Fran asked.

"As soon as she finds out. She'll jump on her private plane and be here in no time," C.C. said, preparing herself.

"Oy."

"I just can't believe this!" C.C. shouted pacing the floor back and forth. "I know my mother will not approve. Why the hell should she care anyway?! This is my life, my screw-up." She looked at Fran and Max. "Not that I don't love it," she smiled at them, walking to the fridge again. "Who ate all the pickles?!"

Everyone looked at her.

"Forget it!" she said. She really did love Niles but this was going to be a hard task to accomplish, convincing her all mighty mother that marrying a butler into the family was not that bad.

"What about your father Ms. Babcock?"

"I don't see any problems there, Nanny Fine. He's more sensible than Mommy Dearest."

"Maybe it's not as bad as you think," Fran said, patting her back in an attempt to comfort her.

"Not that bad?! Nanny Fine, my mother is coming down here to give me hell about something that really isn't any of her business!"

Gracie joined them in the kitchen. "So I hear you two in are in some trouble?"

"Yeah, what's it to you g......g.....girl? How did you know about this?" C.C. asked looking at Gracie.

"I picked up a few 'cleaning the intercom' tips from Niles." Gracie smiled as everyone looked at Niles. "Perhaps if you two maintain your stable and happy lifestyle, her mother will approve."

"That's not the issue here. He's a butler, a servant, ..." C.C. went on.

"Thanks dear. I feel so much better about myself as a person, really I do," Niles said sarcastically.

"And that's all he'll ever be to my mother, that's the way it is with the Babcock's. If they work for you, they're not worthy of respect."

C.C.'s prediction was right, Noel had phoned their mother right after C.C. had dropped the bombshell and her mother was coming to LA at top speed to have it out with her. Niles and C.C. decided they better meet her at the Sheffield's since they were gonna need all the help they could get.

C.C. came from the kitchen licking her fingers.

"Again?" Max asked her.

"I have to eat," C.C. answered.

"Not every 5 minutes."

C.C. turned to Fran. "You think this outfit will disguise the fact that I'm pregnant? I don't think it's a good idea for my mother to find out yet."

"Why don't you stand behind a big flower or carry a big purse? They always get away with that on sitcoms."

"This isn't a sitcom Nanny Fine. This is real life!"

The doorbell rang and Niles went to open it. There stood an older woman with blonde hair wearing a very expensive fur coat. She looked like an older version of C.C., and Niles couldn't help but to think that this women had aged gracefully but she had so much make up on that it made Fran look pale.

"You must be Nolan?" B.B looked at him.

"Its Niles and its a pleasure Mrs. Babcock." Niles extended his arm for a hand shake.

"What's a pleasure?" B.B asked him.

"Uh...meeting you."

"Awww...how sweet I wish I could reciprocate," B.B said giving an evil smile. She walked over next to C.C. "Well you certainly didn't marry him for his money. Or his choice of clothes," she laughed.

"Mother I--" C.C began.

"I expected you to be younger," B.B said, starting the insults flying.

"Yes, and I expected you to be brunette," Niles shot back.

"Excuse me?" B.B asked

"Mother did I tell you what a pain....I mean pleasure it is having you here?" C.C tried to break up the fight.

"C.C, now your......C.C. have you gained some weight?"

"Ehh, yes I have."

"Oh god you've been throwing yourself at food again, haven't you?"

"Actually, she's been throwing herself at me," Niles said smiling.

Both B.B. and C.C. gave him a look.

"To get her food!" Niles quickly added.

Giving Niles another look, B.B. continued, "I knew this marriage wasn't good for you. C.C." Niles joined C.C. as B.B walked over to Max and Fran, who were standing by the couch. "Maxwell so good to see you, I thought you would be the one to wed my daughter?"

"Oh no, I mean, well, I am married and I have two new beautiful babies. This is my wife Fran," Max said pulling Fran forward.

Fran offered her hand, but B.B. didn't budge, she just looked at Fran with disgust. "Aren't you the Nanny?" she asked, stepping back.

"Well...I was, but now I'm the Mommy," Fran laughed giving Max a hug.

"Wonderful. So tell me does every rich person associated with this house marry the help?" B.B. asked smiling at C.C., letting the sarcasm fill the air.

"Mother!" C.C. said with a loud voice.

Niles suddenly understood why C.C. was the person she was. How could he blame her? Although it was that cold way of hers that made him first fall for her. Should he thank her mother or... Nah.

"I'm sorry if the truth offends everyone, I was just asking." B.B eyes wandered on everyone.

"This is not goin' good," Fran whispered to Max.

"C.C., how could you marry so low in class. Have I taught you nothing?"

"I don't know, why don't you ask Nanny Bobo?!" C.C. told her mother.

"C.C. dear, everyone was hiring a Nanny-- it was a trend."

"Yeah and if everyone jumped off a bridge, would you follow?" Fran asked, crossing her arms.

"You stay out of this Nanny Fine. Now C.C., it's one thing for your business partner to marry the help, but not you. You are a Babcock."

"I beg your pardon!" Max yelled.

C.C. went behind Fran and pushed them into the kitchen. "Uh, she's sorry. Too much Jack Daniels on the way here, its probably best if you stay in the kitchen," she said. The she went back to her position next to Niles and prepared to take on her mother.

Fran leaned into the door of the kitchen where they had been unceremoniously shoved. The suspense was killing her; she just had to know what was going on. "Oy, please just let me listen," Fran begged. But Max, who knew from past experience the only way to get her away would be to bodily remove her, hoisted her up in his arms and hauled her away up the stairs. "Oh Max, you're so strong," she flirted, giving him a kiss, forgetting momentarily about the little Battle Royal in the living room.

"No, this just will not do," B.B. said. "You know C.C., if I didn't know any better I would think you're pregnant with this servant's child."

"Mother...."

"How can you have married into a family like that? I'll find some way to undo this mess of a marriage!" B.B. took one last look at C.C. and then stormed out.

"Well...anyone up for a game of Monopoly?" Fran asked, smiling weakly as she peered over the railing.

It was getting late when Niles came in to the kitchen and saw Fran sitting at the kitchen table, deep in thought. "Mrs. Sheffield?"

"Oh… Niles. I didn't hear you."

"What were you thinking about? Seemed serious."

"I was thinking about what happened today," Fran said, as she got up and walked over to Niles. "Gee, that Mrs. Babcock is totally opposite Ma. Instead of wanting her daughter to get married, she actually wants to break her daughter's marriage up."

"Oh I think she wanted to see C.C. married. Just not to a ex-servant."

"Niles, you were always so much more then a servant."

"Not to people like her." Niles took a deep breath. "Have you seen C.C.? We were just about to go home, she said she was finishing up in the office and now I can't seem to find her."

"Did ya try the nursery?"

"No."

"I'm sure she's there." Fran took a sip of her tea.

"The nursery?" Niles asked with a surprised look.

"Yes, the nursery. Didn't ya know? She's been going in there from time to time, ever since you guys babysat for us."

"Really? I didn't know that."

"I don't think anyone is suppose to know that, but I saw her a couple of nights ago going in there and when I opened the door to look..."

"What?"

"Well..." Fran smiled. "I thought she just wanted to see how it was decorated. Ya know, for tips when she has her own. Anyway, I opened the door and saw her standing there looking down at Jonah and Eve sleeping, with a weird look on her face. I'm still not sure if it was meant be a good or bad look," Fran said.

Niles smiled as he started to walk out from the kitchen.

In the nursery C.C. stood looking at Jonah and Eve. She found it pretty amazing that she was now carrying one of those inside her. She never thought that would happen to her but now that it had... well... she had never felt happier. She refused to let her Mother spoil her newfound happiness.

C.C. heard the door open, turned and saw Niles. She smiled at him and motioned for him to join her. He came to stand next to her and took her hand.

"Aren't they beautiful?" C.C. whispered, not taking her eyes off the sleeping twins.

"They sure are," Niles whispered back also looking at the twins. Then he turned to look at C.C.

"So how long have you been coming in here?"

She looked up at him. "How did you know?"

He smiled. "Fran."

"Oh." C.C. looked back down at the twins.

For a minute no one said anything. They just stood there, hand in hand watching these two perfect little babies sleep.

"You think our baby will be that perfect?" C.C. asked still looking at the twins.

"Even better because our baby will be just that, ours." Niles smiled at her.

C.C. finally looked at him. "What are we gonna do about my mother?"

"I have no idea."

C.C. took one last look at the twins and walked to the door with Niles by her side. "Tomorrow, I'm going to try again..." she said sighing and closing the door softly behind them. "Do we have any ice cream at home?" she asked Niles on their way out of the Sheffield mansion.

The next morning Niles was in their bedroom tidying up. He smiled at C.C. who came out of the bathroom after getting ready for a business meeting with Maxwell.

"How do I look?"

"Very professional."

"You're just saying that because you think I'll look like a fat cow soon."

"No really. You have like one section of clothes for business days, and another section for, how should I say it, when you wanna be rebellious." He devilishly smiled at her.

"Oh the devilish smile, quick I need a camera!" C.C. said seductively.

"We know too much about each other, it's starting to get freaky."

"You've always been freaky, so what does it matter?" C.C. laughed.

"I still have to get downstairs. I keep forgetting how much your gonna eat now that your carrying. This is gonna cost more money, and I'll be at the grocery store twice as long."

"Stop complaining, that's the least you can do considering I am sacrificing my perfect figure for your child."

"Uh huh."

"If men got pregnant, morning sickness would rank as the nation's health problem. Anyway I thought we had a life time truce when we said 'I do'?"

"You're the one who started insulting me. Besides if I don't insult you, my life won't balance out and I'll feel I haven't accomplished anything."

C.C. elbowed him in the stomach. "Not funny!"

"Ouch!"

"If I didn't love you so much arch nemesis, I would probably have to kill you." C.C. leaned over and gave him a kiss.

They both heard a knock at the door their apartment and broke apart. C.C. parents were there, still arguing. "I found this piece of trash outside," B.B said pointing at her ex-husband Stuart, as she elbowed her way into the living room.

"Stop it mother, it wasn't necessary to bring daddy into this. He doesn't have a problem with our marriage, you do!"

"How dare you! I am your mother and you will do as I say! Or I will never see you again." B.B stared directly at C.C.

"That's it. I've had it," C.C. almost screamed in her mother's stunned face. "Mother we're staying together! Whether you like it or not! And if you don't like it you don't ever have to see me ever again! Like you do anyway," she continued almost running out of breath. "You never come and visit me, you don't even call!" she cried grabbing hold of Niles.

"Look what you've done to the poor girl!" B.B. said.

"Mrs. Babcock, can't you see that you're the one upsetting your daughter!" Niles said, giving B.B. a dirty look while holding on to C.C.

"C.C. dear, I'm...I'm..." Apologizing was never easy for a Babcock. "I'm sorry I made you so upset, I just wish you understood how I feel," B.B said walking closer.

"How you feel?!" C.C. looked up at her mother. "You never respect how I feel, did you ever stop to think there is more to love out there besides money?"

B.B. paused and thought a minute, as if C.C. words finally penetrated something in her mind. She gave her daughter, standing there with that butler husband looking so protective, a long hard look, perhaps for the first time since her arrival. If she knew anything it was that her daughter was as determined as she was and that would never change. Something in the set of her mouth let her know that, this time, C.C. absolutely meant what she said, and no amount of bluster was going to change her mind.

"Well, I can see that you're going to stay with each other no matter what I say." B.B. was thoughtful. "I have to find a way that I can live with this."

B.B. contemplated her daughter and her eyes lingered for a moment on her thickened waistline. "Hmmm." Well, at the very least, she could give her daughter a decent send off. "I have an idea. "

C.C. looked at Niles questioningly and he looked back at her the same way. C.C. wiped away some tears from her face. "What?"

"If you get married the proper way and let your parents in on this one," B.B said. "At least I may as well get paid back for all the gifts I've given my friends children." She actually smiled.

"How can we say no to that?" Niles answered smiling, standing to shake Stuart's hand.

The next days were hectic ones as Niles and C.C. tried to prepare for their new wedding. They feared if it took too long C.C.'s mother could change her mind again. C.C. tried to stay on top of Nanny Fine and Sylvia so they wouldn't turn her wedding into a gaudy Fine Family Function involving cupids peeing. She wished they would butt out so she could keep on top of other things, namely Niles.

C.C. wanted to visit 'Renée Strauss for the Bride', but of course, Fran insisted on coming along and bringing Sylvia with her while Max and Niles watched the twins. C.C. drove, but was so excited about her upcoming wedding she kept swerving and hitting bumps.

"Hey I'm a bridal consultant!" Fran told her.

"Yeah 6 years ago!" C.C. yelled.

"Look out for that cat!" Sylvia yelled, gripping fiercely onto the back of the front seat.

C.C. swerved out of the way just in time. "That damn thing should of moved outta the way, can't they tell when a New Yorker is at the wheel?" she asked, slowing for a red light.

"Watch out!" Fran yelled again as C.C. swerved, almost hitting a biker.

"What are you trying to do, kill everyone in Beverly Hills?! You putz!" Sylvia yelled at her.

"You wanna drive?!" C.C. asked Sylvia, looking in the mirror at her.

"What do I know from cars?" Sylvia said, shaking her head.

"You know I don't see the point in all this, not even two seconds after the reception your wedding dress is gonna be occupying the floor," Sylvia said, eyeing C.C.

"Meanwhile I talked to Val and she's sorry she can't come."

"I was sure she'd race out here to get a chance to catch the bridal bouquet," C.C. replied.

"She asked me to do that for her since I have caught so many before. Which I really haven't. That would be so desperate. I've never been desperate to get married, have I Ma?" Fran said, completely dead pan.

"Ehhh.... no," Sylvia said looking out the window.

"Weren't you suppose to tell Niles to call Gingiss Formalwear for the tuxedo's?" Fran asked her as C.C. made a hard left turn. "Ma, this women has a lead foot," she said looking over her shoulder at Sylvia.

"Damn! I forgot to tell him before we left. Gimmee the phone," C.C. said reaching for it.

"Hah! No way, and get us killed?" Fran said picking up the phone from C.C.'s reach and dialing.

C.C. finally reached her destination and pulled up to the curb in front of big sign that said 'Renée Strauss for the Bride'. All three ladies got out of the car and proceeded inside. C.C. was trying on wedding dresses and came out of the dressing room in a hideous red wedding dress. "What about this?" she asked as Fran and Sylvia made a face. "Doesn't it look great?"

"On fire maybe," Sylvia commented. Fran went over to the counter and rang the bell.

Fran leaned into the counter and looked inside the glass. "Ohh Miss Babcock you wanna buy some edible undies for your honeymoon night?" she asked laughing.

"No I don't plan to wear anything," C.C. told them as Sylvia's mouth dropped open. "... I mean anything like that."

"Uh huh, sure, Miss Babcock," Fran smiled winking at Sylvia who still had her mouth wide open. "Ma ya want me to pop one of your pill's inside your mouth while it's wide open?" she asked Sylvia opening her purse. "Smarties?"

The big day had finally arrived.... again. C.C. had to admit that Nanny Fine had found a beautiful place for the wedding. It was bright and big. Light colored flowers were everywhere. There were white fold out chairs with ribbons on the seats by the aisle. There was a big two-door opening where the bride would enter and the stairway was behind the two doors. The stairway was also a little longer then the one at Nanny Fine's wedding. Not that C.C. cared too much, she was happy enough to marry Niles anywhere at anytime.

Niles looked at himself in a mirror in one of the rooms on the second floor. Across the hall was his bride. It was amazing how nervous he was considering he was already married to her, however this was his first proper wedding. Taking a deep breath he said to himself. "Not bad."

Across the hall C.C. was looking at herself in the mirror. "Not bad," she said to herself as she straightened out her gown. She had chosen a very simple yet beautiful dress, complimented by a knee length veil and a sprig of baby's breath in her hair.

"So Miss Babcock are ya nervous, whatcha thinkin'?" inquired Fran.

"I'm thinking about how heavy this veil feels and when I can rip this dress off and be rid of this god awful heavy white thing once and for all!" she said wiggling around.

"I can't believe you're not nervous. I know I was, but very happy I got what I wanted," Fran smiled grabbing her flowers.

"Nanny Fine...Fran, I'm very happy for you. I mean for a very long while I was furious at the idea of you getting Maxwell, I was afraid of being alone. Funny it was Niles is who I wanted all along. Fran," she paused, the emotions behind her actions were difficult for a person like C.C. to express. "I want to thank you for never giving up on me; always trying to be my friend even when I loathed you for practically an eternity," C.C. blurted out.

"Oy I'm gonna cry thanks Ms- C.C. Oy that was weird!" Fran said, laughing nervously.

Meanwhile, across the hall…

Maxwell entered the room where Niles was. "Ready old man?"

"What?" Seeing Maxwell in his tux brought him back to reality. "Oh yes."

"Having second thoughts are we?"

Niles gave him a look.

"I was kidding," Maxwell chuckled. "Come on. Let's not keep your bride waiting."

"Yes, we don't want the guests to see her become a werewolf at midnight."

Both men laughed as they left the room.

Back in the Bridal Chamber...

"It was really nice of B… B..."

"Brighton."

"Brighton and......" C.C. said looking at Fran for help.

"Maggie."

".......and Maggie, right. It was really nice of them to send us presents."

"Yes. They really felt bad about not coming, so I promised I would show them all the pictures and tell them every little detail."

"And that made them feel better?"

Fran looked away. "Not really." She turned her head back to C.C. "So I told them they could just watch the video. So are you ready?" Fran asked her fixing her veil.

"Yes....oh wait." C.C. suddenly ran in to the bathroom.

"Oy." Fran stepped out of the room to see Maxwell and Niles on their way.

"Wait," she screamed.

The men stopped as Fran approached them.

"What is it Fran?" Maxwell asked.

"Could you just wait a little? Miss Babcock isn't quite ready yet."

"Why?" Niles asked.

"Last minute throw up... ehh check up. Wait here." Fran ran back to C.C.

Niles turned to Maxwell as Maxwell answered Niles' question before giving him a chance to ask it. "Don't worry old man. C.C. will be fine."

C.C. emerged from the bathroom as Fran came in to the room. "Ya ok Ms. Babcock?"

"Why didn't you ever throw up like this when you were pregnant?"

"Fine women don't get morning sickness....we hate to waste food. Come on now it's time."

Max looked over and smiled at Niles fixing his tie just right. "There. We've got to get you looking handsome for your wife," he teased.

Niles leaned over and began fixing Max's tie. "My tie? Look at you. Do I have to do everything? This is suppose to be my wedding," he laughed.

Fran came running up behind them. "Why are you still here? Let's go already," she said, pushing them out the door.

C.C. stepped out of the room when they were out of sight.

"C.C." She heard her father's voice. He stopped before her and took her hands in his. "You look beautiful."

"Thank you." C.C. gave her father a kiss. "So are Noel and D.D. here?"

"Yes, they just arrived. Ready?" Stuart asked her.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

After the ushers had seated all the guests, the groomsman escorted Niles' mother down the aisle, followed by her husband. A groomsman then escorted B.B, who was the last person seated. The groom and Max, being the best man, took their places at the altar. The processional music started as the bridal party began their journey. The groomsmen escorted the bridesmaids down the aisle one by one. First there was a Babcock cousin escorting another Babcock cousin. There was a cousin to Niles who escorted Grace. Then Fran who was the maid of honor walked in, a huge smile plastered across her face.

Once the attendants reached the altar, the guests stood to recognize the bride's entrance. Niles was immediately fixated on his beautiful bride. Of all the dreams he had had about this day, nothing, nothing could compare to the reality that was now happening. She was the most breathtakingly gorgeous bride he had ever seen and what was even better, she was HIS bride.

C.C. couldn't get enough of seeing Niles standing there waiting for her, smiling at her. She smiled back and Stuart squeezed her hand. She gave her father a smile too before turning her attention back to Niles.

Once they reached the altar, Niles and C.C. turned to the clergy member and the ceremony began. As the priest began to speak, C.C. glanced back at everyone who had attended their wedding: her mother, her father, sister and brother, uncle, aunts and other family members as well as Niles' family. Fran was crying at the tears and the happiness surrounding this now blessed event. C.C. took one glance at her boss and he smiled at her knowing this was her day in the spotlight. She gave him a wink and went back to focusing on Niles. Niles -- who hadn't taken his eyes off her since she had made her entrance. He recalled everything they ever had been through together, going back as far as the first insult ever blurted out to each other.

Niles and C.C. slowly forgot the past and returned to the present to finish their wedding. The priest finished his words. "Do you have the rings?" the priest looked around, then at Fran.

"Oy." Fran whispered and stepped over and grabbed Jonah from Sylvia, who had pinned to him a little white pillow with the two wedding rings on them.

C.C. took Niles' ring from the pillow and placed the ring upon his finger. "Do you C.C. take Niles to be your lawful wedded husband, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, till death do you part?" The priest asked looking at her.

C.C. slid the ring onto Niles' finger. "I do," she said holding up her hand as Niles took hold of it.

The priest looked at Niles as he took C.C.'s ring from the pillow and held it up to her finger. "Do you Niles take C.C. to be your lawful wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, till death do you part," he said finishing up.

Niles slid the ring on onto C.C.'s finger. "I better," he said smiling, and the room filled with quiet laughter. He then looked at C.C. and said with the most serious look, "I do."

The priest smiled at the couple not laughing at all and said out loud, "I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Niles pulled the veil over C.C.'s head, brushed her blonde hair back, pleased with how beautiful and perfect she looked in her wedding dress. C.C. beamed when she saw his reaction when he looked into her eyes. Niles cupped her face between his palms and gently leaned forward. When his mouth finally brushed against hers and he gently kissed her. CC was nervous as the whole room stared at them intently.

At first he merely rubbed his mouth slowly over hers. C.C. returned the kiss, finally he felt her deepen the kiss and gave in to the desire heating his blood. He held her closer, so close that he could feel her heart beating against his chest. Which did very interesting things to every nerve in their bodies. Forgetting about all the rest of the world and the wide-eyed parents who stared on to see them. The kiss felt as though it lasted for an hour and she was lost in it, in Niles, with him now, at last, and all other thoughts whipped away.

They broke away by the sound of loud clapping and cheering. Fran scooted closer to them. "Ya need any oxygen?"

Niles and C.C. turned, smiled at Fran, faced the aisle and slowly but surely made their way down the aisle. Finally husband and wife in the sight of god and their families. They walked down the aisle arm in arm, joined by the best man, maid of honor and the paired groomsmen and bridesmaids.

"Did you see that kiss Max? They could win an MTV movie award for best kiss. HooHa!" Fran teased.

"Oh stop it Nanny Fine," C.C. said rolling her eyes.

"Betcha you forgot where you were for a minute there didn't ya?" Fran teased again, getting her jollies while she could.

"Would you stop?!"

"Okay okay, touch-ie."

The DJ, behind a big table full of music CD's and tapes, grabbed his microphone. "Could we have the lovely married couple out on the dance floor for the first dance of the night?" he said sitting back down and popping a CD into his CD machine Boombox.

Niles took her hand and guided her to the dance floor. She settled into his arms for the first slow dance of the reception. The first notes of the Phil Collins song let everyone know that their wedding song would be as beautiful as the wedding and the couple themselves.

''When I'm feeling blue, all I have to do
Is take a look at you, then I'm not so blue
When you're close to me, I can feel your heart beat
I can hear you breathing near my ear
Wouldn't you agree, baby you and me got a groovy kind of love
Anytime you want to you can turn me onto
Anything you want to, anytime at all
When I kiss your lips, ooh I start to shiver
Can't control the quivering inside
Wouldn't you agree, baby you and me got a groovy kind of love, oh
When I'm feeling blue, all I have to do
Is take a look at you, then I'm not so blue
When I'm in your arms, nothing seems to matter
My whole world could shatter, I don't care
Wouldn't you agree, baby you and me got a groovy kind of love
We got a groovy kind of love
We got a groovy kind of love, oh
We got a groovy kind of love...'
'

When the song finished and the room filled with clapping. Niles sat down at the main table in the front of the room with C.C. at his side. Despite the impossible situation, the image of her lying naked before him and moaning softly with pleasure filled his mind. Her light skin would feel like silk, warm from his caresses. He imagined his hands gripping her shoulders, kneading her thighs, rubbing her backside. Groaning in frustration that this night would never get over so he could take his wife the very goddess of this room that looked so incredibly beautiful in her dress, on the their honeymoon. Not to mention where else he wanted to take her.

C.C. turned and looked at him. "What? What are you staring at?'

His soft fingers lightly grazed her face, as though memorizing the contours. When she sensed the electricity arching between them, C.C. knew she was in danger of losing her head again like at the altar. "All those curves, and me with no brakes," he devilishly smiled.

Later C.C. was dancing with her father as Niles danced with his mother. "How are things standing with your mother?" Stuart asked.

"Okay I guess. We haven't talked much. I don't wanna push it. She'll get used to this soon enough."

"Hopefully before that kid of your comes along."

C.C. stopped dancing for a second before her father started to lead her again. "How did you know?"

"I know you kitten. I could tell that the pounds you put on weren't because of eating."

"Does mother.....?"

"I don't know. She might suspect something."

"Well, don't tell her. I think one big shock is enough for now."

Stuart laughed as he continued to whirl his daughter on the dance floor.

Time for another tradition. C.C. had her bridal bouquet and got ready to toss it as all the single women gathered around. "Ok here we go," C.C. said right before she turned around and tossed it high up in the air. Every single woman in the room jumped trying to grab it but it was one brunette woman who succeeded.

"I think Val will appreciate this," Fran said to Max holding the bouquet. "The things I do for friendship."

Then Niles seated himself with one knee on to the floor as C.C. started to slide up her dress. As her long leg became visible, all the single men started cheering but stopped as soon as Niles turned to give them a hard look. C.C. couldn't help but laugh. Preoccupied with C.C.'s leg, Niles' throwing aim was way off.

Fran gave Maxwell a stern look as he fumbled with the garter in his hand. "Honey it just came in my direction......" Maxwell started but saw no point in continuing.

"Dad I...." Gracie came up from behind.

"Here," Maxwell threw the garter at Gracie as if it was a hot potato.

Gracie looked at the garter she found in her hand. Shrugging she said, " I guess I could give it to Brighton. It's the closest he'll ever get to a woman's leg."

Much later C.C. was sitting relaxing when Niles came up to her. "You think I could dance with my wife again?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well you've danced with Mr. Sheffield, your father, my father, your brother, your-god-knows-how-many- family members and friends."

"I've also seen you dancing with Nanny Fine, your mother and your-god-knows-how-many-family members and friends," C.C. said, trying the best to imitate Niles' English accent.

"Yes and now I wanna dance with my wife," Niles said dragging C.C. up on her feet.

"My, aren't we tough."

"You ain't seen nothing yet Cookie."

"Cookie?"

"Yes. Seems it's the nickname of one of your family members."

"So you met Karin?"

"Yes. Not a bad looking dame," Niles said with a dreamy look.

"Hey," C.C. slapped his arm.

"Kidding. You know you are the only one for me?"

"I better be," C.C. laughed. "So I take it you also met her sister Elizabeth?"

"I did. Good looks seem to run in that family." Niles again had a dreamy look in his eyes.

"Hmm, well they are part of the Babcock family."

"And they are brunettes," Niles said with a smirk smile.

"Don't start with me," C.C. gave a warning look.

"Brunette or a fake blond I don't care. I got the best pick of the litter."

As Niles started to kiss her neck the D.J. came back from his break. C.C. suddenly got an idea. "Wait here." Leaving a confused Niles behind, she walked up to the D.J. and whispered something in his ear. Smiling, the young man nodded at her. C.C. rejoined Niles.

"Ok ladies and gents, time again for some music. This time a groovy tune requested by the bride herself. A song that has a special meaning to her and her groom. Let's start shaking."

A song soon filled the room. Niles recognized it but couldn't put his finger on it. Then came the words.

'Just take those old records off the shelf
I sit and listen to them by myself
'

As Niles remembered it all he had a huge grin on his face. He took C.C. in his arms as they started to dance.

'Today's music ain't got the same soul
I like that old time rock 'n' roll.
'

"What was that all about?" Fran asked Maxwell as more people started to dance.

"I have no idea."

'Don't try to take me to a disco
You never even get me out on the floor
'

"Wanna dance Mr. Sheffield?"

"I'd never thought you'd ask Mrs. Sheffield," Maxwell answered as he led Fran to the dance floor.

'In ten minutes I'll be late for the door
I like that old time rock 'n' roll.
'

Everyone was dancing and seemed all very happy. Especially one certain bride and groom.

'Still like that old time a- rock 'n' roll
That kind of music just soothes my soul
I reminisce about the days of old
With that old time rock 'n' roll, hey
!'
