As you can see, I'm mostly into Dead related stuff, but I'm also interested in getting tapes from other bands of interest (Phish, Allman Brothers, etc.). Tape trading is one of my favorite hobbies. Anyway, before you view my list, here are a few guidelines that I follow:
1. No noise reduction, auto reverse, or high speed dubbing when copying tapes.
2. I prefer to use either Maxell XLII or TDK SA tapes.
3. I usually send cases, but if you don't want to, that's fine.
4. If you see something you like, please feel free to contact me. I will always help anybody, especially newbies.
SDB = Soundboard; AUD = Audience; FM = Radio broadcast; BTLG = Bootleg; FS = Full Show; A+ = solid soundboard recording; A = good quality with little audience noise; A- = good recording with few disturbances; B+ = audience noise affects tape, but music comes out well; B = music comes out clear, but more noise from audience still remains; B- = not the best recording, you might want to choose something else; C = noise is more audible than music, most likely a bootleg; D = not worth trading, not worth playing on a good tape deck; F = now this is what I call a taper's disaster; NG = Not yet graded.
