The Citizens Bank of Logan wants to help protect and inform our customers from identity theft, phishing scams and ATM/Debit card fraud. It is important to take a proactive stance at all times to avoid becoming a victim. Protect your personal information in every circumstance at home and at work!
The Citizens Bank encourages all our customers to use caution when providing personal financial information over the Internet.
On-line banking and e-commerce are considered safe practice.
If you become a victim, contact the bank immediately by phone and letter. Report the incident(s) to the Federal Trade Commission(FTC) which keeps track of reported crimes and shares the information with law enforcement and assist with information and materials that may help victims.
Report a lost or stolen card at once!
Always report "phishing" or "spoofed" e-mails to the following groups:
+ forward e-mail to
+ forward the email to the Federal Trade Commission at
+ forward the email to the "abuse" email adress at the company that is being spoofed For example:
+ when forwarding spoofed messages, always include the entire original e-mail with its original header information intact.
+ Notify the Internet Fraud Complaint Center of the FBI by filing a complaint on their website
